First Time Trying Tapeins! | Curly Tapes | Ywigs

Hey, hey guys, welcome back to my channel, I'm Janae Nichols in case you are new in this video, I'm going to be showing you guys how I do a tape and install using wide wigs hair. But of course I do have to prep my model. So I did go ahead and wash her hair. Now, I'm just blow drying it. I will be applying the tape ends to blow dry hair because it is Curly, I'm not going to straighten it first, but I do need the hair to be stretched out and clean. I'M just going to use my Silver Bird blow dryer and my Olivia Garden brush to blow dry her hair out and, of course I did use heat protecting. I just poured it into my hand and put it straight on her hair. I didn't spray it on, but yeah when you do tapings, you want to make sure the hair in the scalp is really clean oil free. When I did my heat protectant, I only put it on her ends. Nowhere near the scalp, because any kind of oil will make a tape and slip and not last as long so definitely make sure you shampoo the hair very, very well to get rid of any kind of dirts and oils. So this hair is named multi-textured Kinky, Curly tape in hair extension in and it is a natural black and I use about 60 pieces on her hair. I didn't use my full 80 like I normally do, because I didn't want it to be too full to wear it like overpowered her, because because it is curly hair and I didn't want it to be too much and each pack comes with 40 pieces 40 pieces. Equal 100 grams, so kind of think of it as a bundle. A bundle of hair normally equals 100 grams, so it's kind of like each pack is one bundle, but I would definitely recommend two packs 80 pieces which equals two bundles for a full head. So this tape is double sided, so the way I'm doing it, I am doing it double-sided. So I'm just going to pull the protective layer off of the tape press it onto the hair, not too close to the scalp. I flip it up and whatever doesn't stick. I pull it out and then I just take another tape. Do the same exact thing, but I stick it on the bottom part of that tape and press it together, um. I am doing top first on her because her hair can handle it if her hair was any finer than this. I would definitely do bottom first, just so, I can control how much hair is going in between the tapes. I do not recommend you guys doing this at home. Go to a professionals if you don't put enough hair in between the tapes. Your hair will stamp off and I know nobody wants that. So don't get your friend to do it just go to a professional pay. The money, at least you know that you'll be getting it done the correct way and your hair will be protected so yeah, I'm basically just doing this technique up the hair and I'm making sure I'm leaving it away from her hairline just so. She can put it up without any problems. You know without seeing any kind of tape just so it can be super seamless and look as natural as possible, but yeah this hair is 22 inches. I do end up cutting it and it matches her hair pretty well. In the end, you guys will see that I do do a twist out to make it match even more, and I think it turned out really cute. It'S a super natural look. You can dye this hair and straighten it. I probably wouldn't straighten it just because I feel like if you're going to wear it straight, just get straighter body wave hair. You don't want to put too much tension on tapings because it is right at your scalp. So if you get curly hair, I would just wear it curly. If you know you want to wear it straight, just get straight hair. That'S just my opinion. You know you can do whatever you want. That'S just you know what I think, but I love the hair. It'S really soft, it really does mimic natural hair and it wasn't like super Tangled or dry or anything it had a nice luster to it and it was super easy to get through and in case you guys didn't know, you can definitely reuse tapings. All you have to do is, of course, remove them from your hair, using a tape and remover spray, and then you would peel off the old tape, wash the hair get all the existing tape off of the hair before you know moving forward and then take your New double-sided tape and just put it on the old tape in and then it's good as new and typically tapings can last six to eight weeks, sometimes eight to ten weeks, just depending on the person um. If you take really good care of your hair um and if you wash it when this gets oily, it could last you longer, like I said, just depends on the person, but it will last you at least six weeks. If the person who did it did it properly on their site, it says it can be reused up to three times. So that's really good. You probably could use it more if you take care of the hair, because it's not really so much about the tape. It'S more so about the hair quality. So if the hair quality is still good of the three uses, keep on using the hair just keep on replacing the tape and you'll be fine, but yeah. I'M gon na go ahead and let you guys enjoy the video again. This hair is from White wigs. I can't believe foreign break it up. It'S falling down. We on DMV time is moving fast, but I can't go you'll keep trying to heal, but it don't show. No. I really knows how to carry on carry on everybody thinks, but they don't know butterflies that could turn it so cold rainy days open. Thank you, foreign, okay, so now that the tape ends are all in I'm just showing you guys how it looks pulled up, you can't see anything. It is super seamless, and then I took her back to the shampoo bowl and just wet it and put some conditioner on it just to get the hair all wet. For the twist out, I bring her back to the chair. I used just a random curly hair product. You guys know I don't really style curly hair, so I just had a random product and I did some twists just to make it blended, with her hair a little bit better to look as natural as possible today. So please don't ask me to stay cause. I can't keep so after I twisted it. She set under the dryer for a very long time and then I cut a little bit of it, and this is a style. Like I said, Supernatural look looks just like her hair um. You can't even tell she has extensions and, like it looks, it just looks like she just did a twist out on her natural hair um, her hair, her natural hair could be a little bit darker to match the extensions, but for the most part I think it Blends seamlessly again, these tapings are from wide wigs.
