I was about to go to Ulta and I realized that my boyfriend has my car keys in his car, so I'm now stranded and I put on makeup for nothing which is unheard of. If I don't have to go anywhere, there's no way, I'm putting my makeup on doing my hair, let alone getting dressed. I thought I'd do a quick video since I have makeup on: let's not waste it right. That'S how I feel I'm gon na do a video on hair extensions. I recently got hair extensions. I don't have them now, but I recently got them and actually in October, and I took them out probably about a month ago, so I thought that you know, since I had them in for a full cycle. I guess you could say I thought that it was a good time to do a complete review on. You know how I felt about them and every I always assumed that those that real extensions were like out-of-control, expensive and I'm thinking like a thousand dollars, turns out. There'S a hundred different kinds that you can get, but not that expensive considering I thought they were a thousand dollars so now. This kind of extension is the only kind that this salon, including this hairdresser, this entire salon does because they claim that is the only kind that doesn't damage your hair. Now I haven't tried every other kind of extension. This is actually the only kind of extension that I've tried besides the clip in one's, so I can't verify that you know this is the only one that won't damage but kind of trusted. You know that's Milan and what they said. So basically they are called taping extensions and the brand is Cinderella hair, and this is so they're tape in but they're called tea like she isn't Tom. So basically I went there, she asked me, you know what I was looking for and basically I wanted some lengths, like my hair, is decent length, but it was taking a really long time to grow and I wanted like mermaid hair like very long hair and also My hair's very thin, so I wanted extra hair to add volume and stuff like that, so basically she ordered the hair. For me also, I want to mention this looks very light compared to my hair, but um even kinda doesn't look like it matches now. I think my hair is like darker ish, but basically like the ends of my hair, are a lot lighter than the top, so this looks kind of insane but down at the ends it matched and that's what I wanted to do is you know, match the ends. So it looked natural she actually ordered. I got three packs and she ordered three different colors. They were very similar, but the three different colors, just a little bit of difference, really made the hair look, natural and kind of added. Some very subtle highlights almost, and I just think it made the hair look very natural. I mean out most the time when I had them in. I kind of couldn't even tell what, where my hair started and where the extensions ended it was that it matched so well so anyways. This is called T hair. Basically, these this is like stuck together, so okay, so basically it comes like this in the bag or whatever box. I don't know so it comes like this and then there's actually adhesive like this one's obviously like fallen off but comes with adhesive on it and then basically, you just sandwich your hair in between this and obviously she did it for me, but it isn't hard to Put on so maybe if you had a friend help you, you might be able to just order the hair yourself line and then no do-it-yourself, but basically you just have like a piece of hair and you're gon na. Do it right up to the scalp and you basically just stick it to that side and then stick the other one underneath and then so your hair is and your natural hair is in the middle here and then just sticks together. So this adhesive is very strong. I, when I forgots got them done. I was so gentle with my hair, like barely touching it, brushing it like very slow and the first time I watched it. I was like, oh my god, they're all gon na fall out, but I was very careful and then, after a while I realized these are not coming out. I mean it's to the point that, as if your natural hair, you know, if you tried to yank your natural hair out, which, why would you do that? But that's how it feels like it feels like there's no way you could rip it out to me. That'S how it felt so it was about a week into it. I was very comfortable and knew that I could brush it fine and wash it without worrying so or wash them without worrying so anyways. Basically, I had them in for a few months and then I got them pushed back up and basically what she does is you just go into the salon she takes them out and then she washed my hair and kind of like trimmed my hair, and then she Stuck new adhesive to the extension, and then she just put it back in my hair. So because it's on your hair, it naturally grows with your hair, so once it gets a few inches down, I moved it back up to where it was like up against my scalp. So overall I did really like having them a couple. Things though, I started out with hair that was like down to, I would say like here, so it was very, very long which I loved, but I felt that the texture these these are very smooth, but I felt like the texture at the ends. Like I don't know, if you can tell, but to me like they look a little dry, even though they don't feel it, but they look dry and compared to my natural hair, which is relatively smooth it. I could tell a difference in the texture, so I felt like you could you could see after a while, where my hair ended and then oh, I have an extension. The second thing is these: they don't look at right now. They look kind of way because they've been like in a ball in a bag in my drawer, but these are the straight ones, so they are pretty much stick straight and I kind of unless I straighten my hair every single day or you know before I after I washed it unless I straightened it. It did not like blend well with the extension just for obvious reasons and that kind of bothered me because I like to use a round brush when I'm blow-drying my hair. I don't really like to use a straightener, maybe like for a few pieces around my face, but that's it so using a straightener every day was not really what I wanted you to do, and I kind of like battled with it, because I, like the volume of A round brush and blow drying your hair and also you know, I'd like not using the heat of a straightening iron. You know every day of my life, so that was kind of annoying and then washing it for me took a really long time, because I was not satisfied with just like Oh scrub and, like you know, just get the ends. Whatever done, I was like trying to get in between the extensions, so it's on your hair like this, and I would like kind of go like this like up against my scalp with shampoo, because I am kind of like I don't know when I wash my hair. I want to be like super super clean and almost feel like squeaky clean. So I was like scrubbing and like just it kind of took a while, because there is a lot of hair, and so that was kind of annoying and then brushing them was also took forever. Like I had to separate like little pieces of my hair and then like brush it brush it brush it because when they were wet, it was very difficult to get a brush through. I used a large tooth comb, which is what was recommended just to not pull on the extension too much, and those are the only things that I was kind of aggravated about. Once my hair was done, I loved it. I could wear my hair in a ponytail curled. They looked really great, probably the best, because they it really blended all of my hair - well um, but after the second time that she pushed them up and put the new adhesive in. I actually had her cut the extensions up closer to my natural hair length because again the texture thing at the bottom of the extension really bothered me. I do not like the look of like natural hair and then stick straight extension. It'S so obvious, and I just that is not look that I'm going for so I had her cut the extension with a few layers and it did look a lot better but eventually, like I decided to take them out just to give my hair kind of a Break, I guess - and I am happy that I took them out - I am NOT saying that I'll never put them in again, but I am happy. I took them out it's much easier to do my hair much faster and when I first took the extensions out, of course, my hair felt insanely thin. I felt like I had lost so much hair, but I really didn't it was just. I was used to having so much hair with the extensions, but now it's been like a month since I've taken it out and yeah my hair soon, but I'm kind of okay with it like. It has saved me a lot of time. But honestly, it was really fun to try and again like I probably will get it again, one day or another, but I will say what I will probably do next is. I can use this hair for as long as I want to, but I think that I will go ahead if I go to decide to do it and I will purchase the wavy or curly extensions instead, just because they add more volume and then also my hair. This is like yesterday's curls, but my hair dries a little wavy and I think that would mix with the wavy extensions better than the straight ones. So I think that whole texture problem and the whole blending problem would be eliminated. If I actually had to leave the extensions quick note, my friend actually just got because she saw mine, she actually went to the same hairstylist and got the wavy extensions. She likes them. A lot - and she actually was telling me about it the other day and said yeah you should have got the curly ones. I think you would have liked that better, so anyways. I would consider that if you are looking into it last thing is just the pricing. The hair for three bags - and I don't really know how many comes in each bag, but it was pretty much to cover like my whole head and I kind of have a small head. So, but we used every single piece of hair. So I would suggest, depending on how much hair you want getting three or four bags of hair for three bags for me, and the salon did not up charge me at all. She just paid for it online and I paid the the actual price of it. What? Whatever it was online, so the actual hair was, I think, two hundred and thirty dollars and then to put it in it was 120 and then you know the next time I came back for her to push him up. It was another 120. So it's kind of a lot, but I kind of justified it because I don't dye my hair or anything so it was kind of like you know. If you have to do both it's kind of a lot, but whatever your budget is, you could fit that into your budget. That'S great, I'm just not a millionaire yet so anyways. I hope this was informative and you guys have any more questions, because I'm sure that you know I left something out feel free to leave me a comment or message, and I will see you guys the next time I shoot a video

Jennifer Powney: Great review! I've worn clip in and glue in off and on for 6 years. Mostly in between when I'm growing my own hair back out after chopping it off! :) I hate both methods. I once had a stylist do the micro - 200 pieces to cover my shorter thick hair at that point. They looked amazing but were horribly uncomfortable and I took them out after a week. I was curious where you live because I want to have someone put them in for me. I have always done them myself except for micro but if like to have them done. I have also asked around and it's anywhere from 800-1200$

DiiJiiGii: Great info! Thanks! The cheesecake for lunch clip = hilarious! Gonna try to tape in strips myself this week as taught by 52WeeksOfBeauty and this is very helpful. Thanks for posting!

Sarah Pretty: Wow, this video was so helpful and informative! You really covered all the things I always try to find out from other reviews, yet for some reason, they always leave out. I've had extensions a few different times with different hair, (doing it myself) and I always wonder if I'm the only one having certain issues. Like the scalp washing, the obvious difference without heat tools, etc. Now I know I'm not alone. Thank you!!

Cassie Alexander: Thanks so much for your video! I'm getting extensions in a week and cannot wait! I started to feel a bit overwhelmed with how much care and effort it will take (I have 2 boys, 1yo & 2yo.. I dont have too much "me time") so youtubed some videos and yours was the most informative (and also the most watchable). I have quite fine hair too, and have been dying it blonde. So i struggle to grow it longer. I'm opting for a darker color with my extensions. After watching your video I feel a lot more confident in my decision and am excited about having the hair I've always wanted. Thanks again!

Jaime Freet: Cinderella is amazing. They have new ones that r called "strips" they r just like tape but they aren't taped in. Also THEY CAN BE REUSED. I am a stylist and use cinderella

TimHesterTrent: Great vid review! The weird texture at the bottom could be alleviated by your stylist knowing how to cut extension hair. You can't cut extensions like normal hair, there is a technique for softening the ends and blending it to look like real layered hair. Your stylist should have also ordered you the body wave. I have a Cinderella Hair account, comment if you want prices. All hair is double drawn Indian Remy hair.

Nat-Fab: I haven't had the wavy ones yet, but as far as I know - once you wash them they will return to they're curly form. You are definitely able to straighten them though! That's what I would do. Also - if you are getting considerably longer extensions, you should have a hairdresser cut your hair AND the extensions into layers so that it doesn't look obvious. If your hair is one length, and your extensions another, it might look odd. Thanks for watching!

Justice McRae: Yep, our salon only does tape extensions, I love mine :)

TimHesterTrent: I just received and installed my Cinderella tape extensions and the hair already feels really dry. Did you buy their extension care kit or did you use your own sh/cond? I am a stylist (we've exchanged messages before) and I've tried 2 of my very best lines on the hair with no luck.

Lyndsey Fifield: I know this video is over a year old but I've gotta ask - do you remember if the tape became visible as your hair grew? I just got similar extensions put in a week ago and I'm wondering if they'll start to show in a month before I get them pushed back up!

Nat-Fab: It depends on your natural hair thickness/length. I bought 3 packs.

89C: I do Crossfit everyday and sweat a lot! I wash my hair everyday, usually letting it air dry or maybe styling it when I go out with hot tools, can I wash my hair everyday? What shampoo and conditioners would you recommend? I'm planning to get these very soon, the wavy ones. Thanx!

NattyV1994: Hey just wondering did you experience any damage from the tapes?

xxchalkie: ahaha I love how I feel like I'm watching other beauty guru youtubers but then youre the same you as on your blog "not a millionaire yet so-" etc. keep it up, you're good at this

Nat-Fab: Interesting! How do they attach to your hair if they're not taped?

BridieGem: I have curly/wavy hair, basically like yours in the video, I wouldn't say my hair is thick not thin, it's cut straight across and is all one length, and i'm considering getting the tape in extensions Because I want the long mermaid hair, but if i buy curly or wavy hair can you straighten them and then when you wash them will they return to the curl?

Holly McFarland: There a great video that explains the ways to take care of your extensions.HOW TO take care of HAIR EXTENSIONS they dry out faster if you don't add oil because they are not alive like your real hair, thus do not receive the oil from your scalp. Maybe this link will help you in you next hair extension "endeavor".

ucanthavemysn: When you have the tape-in hair extensions, could you put your hair up in a pony tail or could you only wear it down so the extensions wouldnt show? I have never had extensions before but I am considering it. I am comparing the tape-in ones with the natural beaded rows.

Madison: Hey you're beautiful! and your hair looks wonderful! just wondering how much it was to have it pushed back up?

Shianne Rhorer: Hello, I'm thinking about getting tape in hair extentions. I've always wanted long, thick hair due to the fact that my hair grows SO SLOW. But I play a lot of sports. And this summer I'm playing softball. So do you think that sports will cause a lot of damage and ruin them?

shldiblv: Loved your video! I just purchased my very first Tape Ins...eeeek wish me luck ^_^

Trina Ana: I was wondering, how many extensions you needed for it to look natural?

Heather Pyle: It's not true that tape extensions are the only ones that do not damage your hair. I am a hair stylist and also have wore every type of extensions. They all can be damaging if not done properly and taken care of properly. I have been wearing all different types for 14 yrs and have no damage or hair loss. Tape ins are cheaper and equally great.

Janelle Dickson: hi thnx uve been vry informative and honest in what uve tried. wish i cud see a pic of when u had ur extensions in just to compare.

Nat-Fab: Thank you for watching!

Marlys Moilanen: these extensions come in wavy and euro wavy, so there was no need to have been straight.  Also  There is no perfect perfect,  I have used many brands, this hair all hair is heat treated and colored to best match most hair color.  What a wonderful tool to achieve your own image of what one wants.

TimHesterTrent: For 20" straight, 10 "strands" are $60.00 wholesale

Wippia: did you try to braid them before sleeping so that they will get wavy?

Courtney Summers: How long did it take for her to put them in?

juliacaitlinxo: Where did you get your hair extensions done at? What was the name of the salon :)

Kirstin Kaplan: i loved it when you cut them! love your pony ;)

Glam Seamless: You should try Glam Seamless

Nat-Fab: I hope so too! I'm sure you'll look great!

Nat-Fab: Hmm, good to know! Thanks for the info!

Nat-Fab: Aw thank you! It cost $120 for them to be pushed back up.

Star_☆〜(ゝ。∂): I had tape in extensions for my wedding and just had them taken out yesterday and it pulled a lot of my hair out!!! My hair is soo thinned out now it looks like I'm a cancer patient so I'm probably going to have to cut my hair very short because it is ruined...DO NOT get tape in extensions!

Jaime Freet: Also cinderella has clip in extensions now too. Ask ur stylist.

Tayylor.may: Any salon that offers Cinderella Hair, Will Tape in be an option? Or is it only certain salons that will 'offer tape in' cinderella hair, I want to get some put in this december but id hate to go to a salon that offers it to only find out its micro beads or glued in extensions,

TimHesterTrent: I am in Boston but have 3 clients in Florida; they come to me or I ship them what they need. Are you in need of supplies or services? I would be happy to ask around for you. Let me know what I can do.

Nat-Fab: thank you so much! :)

xxcheshirecatx: were you hair damaged when you took them off ?

graleh: Did you lose a lot of hair when you removed them? Did the tape itch?

Julia Cail: But if they are human hair cant you curl them?

Christine Obremski: how much pcs were in the packs? was it a 20pc or 40pc? Please get back! thnks! :D

Nat-Fab: You're welcome. Thanks for watching. Sorry I didn't add a picture.

Jennifer Powney: Is be willing to travel to someone that does a great job and doesn't charge a ton of money. I've been told $1200 every 3 months because they won't reuse the hair. Forget it! Anyone have any recommendations on the west coast?

Nat-Fab: Thanks angel.

Nat-Fab: Do you know of any good stylists in Florida?

Rhiannon Moore: Where they heave?

Nat-Fab: I really don't know. Sorry :/ Check on the "Cinderella Hair" website!

Jordan Godwin: T as in tape!!!!!

Nat-Fab: only 30 mins!

Amber Pickens: Basically....

Nat-Fab: Nope!

Nat-Fab: I didn't!
