Tape In Extension Review |Irresistible Me Tape In Extensions|

What up y'all so the time is here? The time has come, we're doing it. We are doing a review today and the review that we're doing today is on the hair on irresistible me, hair extensions. If you do not follow my channel, then you would not know that a my hair is about shoulder length. Naturally, B is superscribed lengthen and I hated and see when it comes to like people sending me stuff and like working with brands and stuff like that. Like all my og subscribers now, but I assume that the people watching this video are going to be looking for review on the extensions and not really giving two shits about Who I am when it usually comes to like me accepting things from brands. Normally I get a lot of emails and normally I ignore probably about 90 % of them, just if I don't get a good vibe from them or if it's just something. I don't think anybody would be interested in or sometimes out, email, brands back and say. Yeah. That'S cool, but just you know I am like a no-bullshit brutally honest type of reviewer and you'd be surprised to see how many brands don't email it back when you tell them that so little backstory. Some months ago I looked into getting tape and extensions. I had contacted people on my area and they are hella expensive and I was like I don't think so. I had watched a video uh. I think it was raw Beauty, Kristi and uh Kayla um Chrissy, putting tape in in Taylor's hair and that's the first. I had never even heard of a tape in and when I saw like how easy it was to do it, I was like well I'd. Do that, like I do that on my own and then, coincidentally literally like a couple of weeks later, I get email from irresistible meat of the chick saying, hey. We want to send you some clippings for review for your channel and so I went inside and I was kind of looking at stuff because she was like clippings or Hot Tools. I think so. I went outside and I was looking at stuff and I was like seeing that they had taken, and so I said um would you be down for like the teeth in review because, like I have been looking into getting him anyways and she was totally like yeah. That'S fine pick a color pick how much you want and we'll spend about. Two. Yes and I had told this person to just so. You know I'm very brutally honest on my channel. She was like yeah, that's cool. We would actually, rather you be honest, because if there's something that you know needs fix or suggestions, we can fix that and we want people who wear them to genuinely liked them, because that appeals more to the consumer. So I was like oh cool, that's awesome! So when it came to telling her what I needed as far as the color goes, I went ahead and chose a sh Y, so the color here is ash. Long and I'll show you like some extensions later um. I went ahead and chose ash blonde, so I actually have like a dark root unless an ash blonde valio SH - and I just wanted to Asheville on to that further volley object out. Do you know what I'm saying so that way I have like the shadow root and then it would just balayage into a blonde um. When I first got him in I'm not going to lie. I was like, oh my god, I'm going to have to dye these, but once I apply them in my hair, like they just blended so seamlessly I was like this is freaking awesome and I feel like the reason is because the color like the way to take Color, their extensions, which I will show you later on in the video is so there's like highlights, lowlights like it's, not just one flat color, which, in my opinion, is crucial when it comes to like matching with your hair, because nobody cares like one flat color. Normally we have like glow lights and highlights, and our hair and yada yada yada, so we're just going to get into the review now the rest of the video is going to be very matter-of-fact. I got my little piece of paper hair. If you were an edgy subscriber y'all know that a has a GED and I go off on tangents and I talk a lot and say stories so I've written everything down. So I can hit all the points. I want you guys to know, and I will be doing your follow-up video on how to take them out and reapply them, because essentially the reapplication is the same as the application. There'S just a couple more steps that you have to do for real occasion. I may or may not have lost the footage of my friend applying them in my hair, maybe maybe not. I also was like so super excited when I got them that I don't know why the thought of taking a before picture just like didn't even cross my mind. I don't know, and then my friend Mandy, who is the one that applied them and she was going to reapply them when she put him in. We got like halfway done. She'S, like oh dude, we totally should have taken a before picture, which right now I'll show you guys a before picture that I took like maybe a couple months ago, but it does show like what my hair looks like before. So this is the before picture of what my hair looks like before and then obviously this is what it looks like now, but in the reapplication I'm going to do a full before and after in that follow-up video. Hopefully it does the pack come with 20 hair strips which looks like this and I'll do a close-up of them to this strips look like this, so you get 20 of these in a pack which equals out to 50 grams of hair yeah. So you get 20 of these in the pack, which equals about 50 grams of hair. This is just one hair piece. So, even though the pack comes with 20 pieces, it equals out to ten full extensions, because you take two pieces and sandwich them together on the top and the bottom of your own hair. So 20 pieces of hair 10 full extension. So this and another piece is going to be one extension. Does that make sense? I hope it makes sense. So you actually get 10 extensions, 20 pieces, but 10 extensions. The extensions are one and a half inches wide. You can't cut them anyway. You, like you, can cut them to a teeny inseam a stood, a little extension or you can cut it just like directly in half. You can cut them how you like and kind of customize them to your needs. The hair is 100 % human here, and it is like so freaking soft. What I very first got them. I was like um there's no way this is going to blend with my hair, because my hair is like super scraggly and like not super soft, like this. Like my hair is really damaged installed, so I don't know how that's going to work out, but when I put him in even before I cut them, they just blended so well and, as I was saying for the reason I felt like they blended so well is Because of the color, so let me do a close up. Real, quick and I'll show you guys what I'm talking about okay, so I went ahead and turn my exposure down to just so you can kind of see. So if you can tell this is an ash blonde, but if you can see there's like all different kinds of tones in the hair, there's like some dark pieces, there's some really light pieces, it's very very multi-dimensional, and this is what the top of the little tape And extension looks like, which makes it literally virtually undetectable in your hair and when I say undetectable girl, I mean undetectable, because I have the thinnest hair of life. So, basically, once you get this little tape backing which let me pull that some way off, you can see like with that tape backing not on there that it just looks like hair, it's so undetectable in your hair. I freaking love it. I'M gon na have one extension in this little mini tax. That'S like kind of on the side of it. This extension here is going to be your swatch, so if you're unfamiliar with extensions, you've never had clip ins or anything like that, the way to say your Senate when you order from companies like this like, if you order extensions online, they give you a little pack. That'S a swatch and you can open that swatch and kind of match it up to your hair if you're trying to blend it with your hair, like specifically without having to diet or anything like that, that's what this watch is for. They put it like a little seal. If you can see this right here, this is like the little void seal type deal, and that means that they know that you've opened this once you open the big part, you cannot return or exchange them. If you only open this watch and you're not satisfied with the way they feel the color anything like that, they do have free returns, but you could totally return it and get another color or return it outright. Is you are just not satisfied with the hair, for whatever reason, so you get this swatch in there? Like, I said once you open this, you are done. Zzzz do not pass. Go, do not collect you under dollars. You cannot return the extensions once you open this big part, so you want to make sure that it matches. Well, it is 100 % human care, so it can be dyed, it can be heat treated, it can be curled, it can be flattened. It can be anything you want it to be. Basically, the other thing that will come in your box is this little ditty right here and basically, what this is is the tape to go ahead and reshape them again. So the cool thing about these is that if you take care of them and maintain them - and you know treat them like your own hair, basically you can get a lot of use out of them. You can get like two to three uses out of the extensions like to move them up two to three times, so they do send you with like one extra tape. So that way you can reach. If I'm like, I said, I'm going to be doing a follow-up. Video to show you like how to retake and stuff like that, so they send you 20 little retakes in order for you to retake them, so that is all that comes in the box. So now I want to be review. I guess the actual review or muscle and feelings on them so not going to lie when I first put them in my hair. They were clear down to my elbows because, like I said, the pieces are 20 inches long. So I mean they were like clear down to here and after my friend put a minute I was like dude. You have got to cut these. You got to cut up mine, luckily didn't turn out too bad, but my friends who applied mine, I had no clue even what a tape and extension was before she did it. She had never put tape ends in she, and the only reason why I have somebody else do it. Bt-Dubs is because I just didn't want to mess the back of my head up and the way that you apply them. It'S going to be a lot easier. You could totally do it on your own. There are eminent amount of videos on YouTube that show you have to do it on your own. I mean you're, paying a lot of money for them, so you've once been done right and you want them to look good. Like you want to get your money's worth, you know what I'm saying so having somebody else. Do it, even if it's a friend that doesn't know what the hell they're doing my friend she is the cosmetologist, but she hasn't practiced cosmetology in six years. She didn't know what the hell it a pen was before. I told her what they were. We literally watched one video on how to apply them and she did my whole head, like bing bang boom. That was it and they turned out fine when it comes to cutting that. I would definitely go to a professional to get them cut in, because, if you'll follow me you'll watch my snapchat or you follow my blog. You saw that cutting them with a little bit of a mess. At one point, we were using kitchen scissors, because this is that we have some to dull. We had to go through to cutting sessions of just like chop, chop, chop and Adam. I chop chop chop Adam and I think what it was. I just wasn't happy with the way they look. That'S why I kept cutting them, but I think what the problem was is I just wasn't used to all this hair because it was so thick. You guys follow me, you know or can follow me on snapchat. You know, I'm not gon na lie for like the first week weaken it up. I totally fun Bund it like all the time, because I was so not used to like all this freaking hair. So they're really thick they're, really good quality. I freaking love them as far as styling goes, they're really really easy to style. Um. It'S recommended that when you have Capon extensions, you blow-dry them just so that way like your natural hair is the same kind of texture and everything, as is tape in um. As far as like washing them goes, you want to make sure you're using sulfate free shampoos. The very first time I washed these, I used the joy co color balance shampoo, like the purple shampoo, not the violet one, but the one that comes in purple bottle. I use that and I just under the assumption that it was sulfate free. I didn't bother to look, I just assumed it was all Bay free because I usually use sulfate free shampoos and conditioners, and it was not - and I lost like two tracks to be like brutally honest with you guys. The first time I wash my hair before I realized it wasn't sulfate free um and I lost two tracks I was like. Aren'T they seriously like gon na fall out this easily like this is not going to work if they're, just gon na like slip out every time I wash them. I don't even know like what made me think about it. I think I don't. I don't know what it was. I think it was because I was thinking about like doing the video and stuff and thinking about what points to hit like when I did decide to do this, and I thought about using. You know your sulfate free shampoos and I went and looked at my shampoo and I was like, oh my god. This is not frickin salty for you what the hell, like no frickin, wonder they were coming out. So just like a little pro tip for you. If you use like you, cannot use any kind of conditioners or oils like you can condition the ends of them, because now I like start here with the condition and condition the ends of them. They don't flip out easily. So I don't want you to let get confused and think space without easily because they don't. But if you use any type of like oil based products or like any type like conditioners or anything, that's oil-based, it is going to make them slip out because the extensions are just there's just like little. This little like sticky, glue thing on there and if you put oil or glue it's not sticky anymore, you know what I'm saying you guys want. I can do like a video on how to style them and like curl them and stuff like that to. Let me know like in the comments, if that's something you want me to do, um I actually for the past three times. I believe that I've washed them um - I actually been air drying them because one night accidentally, I was just like way too tired to blow-dry. My hair was like 11 o'clock. At night. We had like swimmin all day, yadda yadda yadda. I got out of shower and I looked in the mirror and I'm like I really don't want to blow-dry these so um. I just put it off, and I told myself you know what I'll let it rewetting in the morning and I'll blow dry them, and I don't know if you guys notice or not, but I actually have naturally curly hair. But the problem is. Is that, even though my hair is naturally curly, I don't wear it that way because it used to be really naturally curly. You still like all my hair used to look like this right here like what it would dry, but I think just because I've straightened it and like blowed it dry and like straightened. It blow-dried it for so many years that I just kind of gave up on me and was like screw it then we're not going to be currently anymore. So now I have like half as curly pieces, half assed straight pieces, so I never wore it without the extensions like that because of all the straight pieces. Well, now that I have these extensions, they literally dry like this. You know what it reminds me of, and you know when you like get out of the shower, and then you put a bunch of breeze in your hair when it's wet and then you let it dry like that. And then you take the braids out and it like kind of looks like this. That'S what it reminds me of that's kind of how my own hair dried, but because there's like so many extensions in it now it just kind of covers up all the straight pieces, and now I can let it air dry, which is bombs. So if you have like kind of the same hair, I suggest it too, because not only is it going to make your extensions last longer, but your hair is going to be way held because you're not going to be heat styling or putting any kind of heat On your hair or the extension hair, so when wind, if you ask me it's a win, win, win, win situation. Another thing I like about them is that if you are familiar with wigs or clip-ins or whatever kind of extensions, you can really tell if it's a good, you know piece of fake hair, whatever form it may come in, if it doesn't get really ratty. So these, like, I, can brush right through them straight out of the shower other extensions that I've had like other clippings, that I've had I've had to like sit there and brush and brush and brush and brush and other hair that I've had. You can like turn. Your head and it wraps up - and this doesn't do that like it, doesn't get ratty or naughty. It'S really really good hair for a really good price. It is like undetectable, and especially if you're somebody that has been here like if you guys follow me, you know my hair is like elephant, like literally the whole ponytail on my head is like this big like it's so freakin thin, and you still can't see like The extension to make thin thin ass hair, so, if you're somebody that has been here and you're like I know you got to see those through my hair girl, cuz, I ain't got no hair, I don't got no hair either and you totally can't see them.
