Removing My Hair Extensions

I have worn hair extensions since I was 14, my hair is very wispy and as soon as I style it, it drops out straight away. I just love the glamorous volume and length hair extensions give you.

I have trained professionally in Hair extensions and I wouldn't advise you removing them without professional advice.

Please feel free to ask me any questions.

Hi guys so I have been wearing hair extensions. Since I have been about 14 or 15. I have literally worn every kind of hair extension. You can imagine. I started off with clip in extensions and then i had weaved in hair extensions and micra bonded hair extensions, and now i am wearing micra loop, hair extensions or micro bond hair extensions. So I got cough so I thought I would video me taking my hair extensions out, so these are some permanent they last from three to four months, and I have been hanging on mine for dear dear life, and so they are ready to come out now. I'Ve waited to. I need to wash her hair, so do apologize, my hair's a bit greasy. So here we go. So if you've had your hair extensions applied by a professional, you need to get them removed by a professional. These hair extensions - if they don't get removed properly, they can cause and no tearing of the hair, and we can pull your own hair out breaking. Obviously you don't want to damage your your hair, so do get it done by a professional. So my hair is probably I would say that about 16 inches, I've gone from having super super long hair so for my wedding actually had 24 inches, which was probably about down to my waist and I've had 18 inches and then I've just kind of got shorter And shorter, so at the moment I just wanted more of a natural look, it's more for me, it's more for fullness, rather than obviously length as well as fullness. I just feel that my hair gets to a stage where it just doesn't grow anymore, and I straighten it a lot news heating appliances on my hair, so it just kind of breaks off, and I think this is probably the longest. My has naturally been for a long long time, so here go so I'm going to start off from the very bottom and most of the hair. Extensions have actually come out because I've been very Normandy and I've been SAT there watching TV and pulled on them and all they've just come out naturally, and when I brush my hair, your hair does naturally shred. So if you do have some come out or fall out, it's not a big problem because it's just coming out with the natural hair, so it is quite hard to take out by yourself. That'S why you should always get a professional to do it for you. So these are Micro, Micro rings or micro loops and so obviously just ignore the state of my hair because they have been in for a very, very, very long time. I shouldn't really happen in this long. So, as you can see, there's little plastic loops, there's actually applied onto the hair, and then you clamp it down to attach it. So all I'm going to do is I've got some pliers here. This is that these are from a beauty. Warehouses are specially, for you know these hair extensions. Sorry, if I'm not looking at you, I'm looking in the mirror, because obviously I need to look so all you need to do. Is you need to go against where it's clamped I go, and then it should just slide out like that. So that is not my own hair. That'S the extensions that have just gone through so there's the extension. So, as you can see, obviously all the hair there is actually glued on and to a point, and then the micro ring is where your hair, where it touches your hips and there's no glue attached to your hair whatsoever. So when I apply them or when somebody applies them, they use a little threading tool. So your hair gets threaded. It'S normally a little bit less than this, as you want to put the left hair in. There gets threaded through the ring and then basically you just clamp it down and then like we did Clank the other way to take out. So if i seemed at birth, I've just got a really bad cold and cross. I can't be there we go. So if you really need to tug at it just keep cramping it the other way, because you don't want to pull your own hair out and because that would be bad so that one's just come off out of the ring. So I'll show you, as you can see, that's the hair and then that's the ring yeah. If you can see that so obviously, that's it separate there. So again, you always want to have it them applied by a professional, because, obviously you need to get get it. Color match perfectly, and the professionals know what they're doing you know. Obviously, with your hair having something attached to your hair, you can get breaking or you can get thinning of the hair if you haven't had extensions, applied and removed properly. That'S now why some people say: oh, it's ruin my hair, like I've got bald patches or my hair came out. Then it's because it hasn't been applied properly, so this one's getting a bit stuck. So you see it's this, so it's really hot a new user. Okay! So yeah you just need to keep twisting it with apply, is in turn from them. So these, obviously these you can see how much growth there is. There they've been in so long. That'S not all my hair grow. They would have just naturally come down anyway, when you're brushing your hair, how we start from the bottom and work my way up, just because it's easier to tell how many extensions there are. You will find as well that at the top of where your hair is because it's kind of you know you can't get to that bit and brush it, you might have some matting or the hair like 12 rounds. It'S a bit like them like a like a braid kind of thing, but then you just get a brush through it and brush it. Always whenever I have removed my hair extensions, I'll always put lots of conditioner on or like a hair mask just conditioned the roots. So I'm probably going to leave my hair extensions out for a while. Now I'm just going to try and leave it as long as possible, but I know get to the stage where I'll just be like. I need them back. So, as my hair is just very it's at it's like fine, but I've got a lot of hair, so i can't really do much with my hair. If i try and curl it, it will literally drop out in like 20 minutes. So I just feel like. I can't style my hair at all because it just does not stay, and I just love that kind of volume, asst and luxury kind of glamorous look of having long hair extensions. I do have some clippings that I might use if I'm going out for a special occasion. You know every so often I just can't use the clippings all the time. I just find it a bit of a nuisance cuz. It just adds time on trying to get ready. It'S just nice to be able to kind of get up and good you so the top layers out, and I think I've got them all out now. So what I want to do is I just want to check and make sure that I haven't missed any. So I'm just going to separate my hair in layers and just brush with a chrome combs the best thing, because if you brush with a brush it could kind of bypass the bonds easily wear the crown would get stuck do apologize. My hair is super greasy now, when you take them out, it's probably a good idea to take them out when your hair's greasy, because it will you know we're taking them out. It will be it all, miss thumb, horrible, but it will be easier to slide out kind of with the oils of your hair, so it will cause less damage. Okay said before, if you've got any matting or anything just comb that through and shampoo, you will have some hair that will come out again, like I said, that's just from your hair, naturally shredding and then not being able to come out because you've got something attached To it, I'm actually really surprised at how long my hair is growing just in four months. It'S so good. You probably think oh there's not much difference from the hair extensions to your hair, but it was only. It was only. I think an inch and a half longer, but it was just the fullness and the fact that I could do much more stuff with the extensions. This is probably the shortest extension. I'Ve had my whole life. I normally have longer it's actually really thick as well. I'M excited the best thing in the world when you take your hair. Extensions out is to wash your hair and like properly get into scalp and massage the shampoo in because obviously you have enough to do that before with the extensions in, and it just feels amazing. So they are all out. I feel Scott makeup, so they are all out guys. So this is my hair, naturally without any extensions, so I'm actually really surprised at how long and thick it is at the moment. So there we go, and this is all the hair you and I'm just going to throw that away. Sometimes you can reuse it. I'Ve actually reused this. This is my second time we're using this hair now so in to go, and then it's doing its purpose and yeah good job. So if you want to ask me anything, please feel free to comment below on my video and I will see you soon. Bye,
