Kinky Curly Clip Ins For Protective Style! | Maggy Kloset

Clip in extensions are one of my favorite ways to protective style and to wear my hair in general. Clip in's give me hair more volume and they are very versatile! In my opinion clips ins are better than wigs because they give me more styling options.

Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so today is going to be all about clip and extension and all the different styles that i do when i'm rocking clipping extensions. So, let's just get right into this video to be honest, clip-ins and wigs are my go-to protective styles for a while now, even in college, i used to rock like clip-ins little bang and then have like a hat on and go to class. It was the cutest easiest thing if i have a photo i'll, definitely put them right here. Clip ins that are more kinky and curly are my go-to. It'S just so much easier to blend with my hand, it looks more natural, so these are from a maggie closet. She actually has a youtube channel and she likes to do beauty and hair and all that stuff, so she actually came up with clippings. She has wigs on her website and stuff like that, so i will leave the links down in the description bar. Of course, everything will be down there. The clip-ins that i got are the brazilian kinky curly ones and the length 16 inches and it was a natural color. It matches my hair very well, so no complaints here, the price of the clippings will be down description box. If we click the link, you always see the price, but what i like about this website is that you could do interest repayments. I think a lot of websites are starting to do this now, but back in the day ciao when i wanted to get clip-ins and they were super pricey interesting payments was not a thing. So i really like that. She could do that for these clip-ins and they are very lightweight. There are some clip-ins that are very heavy. I don't know why, but i like these so far, i'm just gon na go ahead and kind of show y'all a couple styles that i personally do when i'm rocking clip-ins and, of course i'll show y'all how i did this style so keep watching all right. So this is what the packaging looks like maggie closets, i'm a sucker for good packaging, literally didn't even open this oh extra wig clips. You could always use that and we actually have some little cute little clips this one. It looks like a little rabbit's ear, which would be cute for halloween okay, so it comes with the instructions - if i didn't say this already, it's also like a french company, so you get them in different languages, so there's french must say or english of course, and I think this is a different language too. I don't know what language that is so where's, english, okay, it just tells you how to wash it, how to clear how to clean it stuff like that okay. So these come with seven pieces, which i think is standard. Oh, these feel really nice feels very natural, which is, i think, a standard for clip-ins seven different pieces. So we have a four clip right. One, two yep. We have a four clip right here. I wonder if this really is 16 inches, because it looks a little short nope. It is 16 inches for me is right to my boob, so it is, but obviously with curly hair, it's always shorter. We have four two pieces, one three piece and two four pieces. So this wouldn't cover your whole head, at least not for me, my hair is more on the thinner density side, so i like to put in clippings to just add more volume and more body. That'S usually what i use them for i don't know there are clip ins where you could kind of like cover your whole head. If you want, i kind of don't see the point in that i rather just wear a wig. If i want to cover my whole head, that's just my opinion, though so i did get these clip-ins just to add body to my hair and i do actually like that they come in. Oh, the stitching is very nice. Let me show y'all, sorry, i'm all over the place, but this is nice, so the stitching is very, very nice and very clear. Can y'all see that i mean this could cover your whole head. If you do it a certain way, of course, if you wash them it, they will be more voluminous than this, but i just didn't want to, and okay so clippings is my type of protective style. So i always like to make sure my hair is super moisturized before i even you know, do all that, so i literally just put it in like really fast chunky twists and then i kind of like just bunch up my hair. Like this, i start with a three at the very very back of my head, just because it's easier for me and then i continue and i go with the four and i'm gon na - put it up a little bit higher. So this style you're really not going to see the clip-ins like at all. So if it doesn't matter how you put them on, i would recommend um. This is just me like rushing because i'm going to be doing different styles today, but i would recommend, if you actually twist your hair down or braid your hair down, if you know how to braid. So in that way they have they actually like, go to your head a little bit easier. If that makes sense again, i recommend you washing them first, because then there will be a lot more voluminous than this, but you get the point. I'M gon na put a two right here, just be careful with the edges, so it's not on my edges, see and then a two on this side and i still have two more twos. I recommend you actually kind of washing it and styling it before you put it on your hair, just so you're not tugging at your hair with the clips in. But if you do decide to do like this, just do it very gently or they will slide out. Okay, so i feel like the curls would be 100 better if i had washed it but, like i said, i'm trying to do different styles, so now you're going to grab whatever bending you want to use. So i have camouflage one standard. You know black and white. One i have the alia collection one. I love this banana so much. I use this all the time. I'Ll show you what the back looks like it's gon na look crazy, but nobody's gon na see, so you throw that band in on okay. So this is what this looks like. If you see me rocking clip into the bandana like this about 99.5 percent of the time, it's with clip-ins like this as these clippings dry it'll get bigger and look more natural, but even so, this is probably how my natural hair would lay. If i had a wash and go and if my hair had more hang time, because you know my hair strength, this is another way that i would rock extensions like. I see a lot of different videos with clip-ins and yeah. You know they do a half up. Half down like i do those styles too i'll throw in that picture and show you what that looks like, but i really like tension free, less complicated styles when it comes to my clip-ins, and this is usually honestly what i do you really can't tell because it Looks like it's just like my hair and my favorite way. Well, i love all these ways, but the most protective way, in my opinion, is using my my satin lined cap, my beanie, and i like that it literally protects my hair underneath as well. Oh baby needs to wash - i literally just found it in my winter stash. This is another way that i will rock my clippings and you can't tell again, besides after path down styles, twist outs, with my extensions i like to do pigtails, ponytails and buns with my clip-ins, i'm not gon na do all those today because that's a lot on My hair, but i'll use, my as i am smoothing gel with a mixture of my allergy naturals hold a styling gel if y'all know this combination that i do then i mean it's so good. Okay. So now i'm going to kind of twist up my hair into a ball then make sure your clips are closed. I'M just going to add it to the base make sure that the tracks stay close to your ponytail, i'm going to take a scrunchie just because i, like the security, i'm not trying to have my bun go flying okay, so i put these in little space blends Because i thought it was cute, but that's not how i'm gon na wear it, but i just want to show y'all that with clip-ins you could do a lot of different types of styles. So this is cute and i still have two clip ins left. So i was gon na define the curls, but i think it looks more natural, like this kind of like a blown out. Look if i added measure i did put a few bobby pins um on the last clip in that i kind of wrapped just so you know if you took us your hair or something it doesn't come flying off. I think clip-ins are a much better investment in my opinion than a wig just because you could do a lot more styles, with clip-ins and with the wig, as you can kind of see how i did it in this video. Everything will be in the description bar make sure you check that out and i will catch you guys in the next one don't forget to like comment and subscribe. Bye, guys
