Why I Dyed My Hair Jet Black / Comprehensive Hair Tranformation With Mhot

What'S up guys and welcome back to another video today, i'm going to be talking all about my hair hair journey talking and doing my hair. So this is my hair right now, it's black, so it's kind of blending in, but it's pretty short and it's something that i've been i've been trying to grow my hair for a really really long time, and i have a lot of hair growth problems um. I don't know a lot of other people might have the same hair growth problems. I have curly hair and i personally just don't like how i look in it. So i'm constantly heat damaging it and um just doing everything i can to try keeping it healthy, while still feeling confident in my hair. I recently dyed my hair black, as you guys know, and i'm going to go into like why i dyed a black and all that stuff um. Once i i'm doing my hair, but first i want to talk about the hair extensions i'm going to be using in today's video, and these are m hot hair hair extensions. If you guys did not know these are the things. I think these are the first hair extensions i ever got. These are the first hair extensions when back when i was blonde so um, it's really great to be working with them again and now they're helping me achieve my hair goals, while my hair is black. So this box - and it has beautiful words on the inside and it's pink um. It comes with a little like test strand, so you case you thought you can get color matched on the website, but just in case you thought that it was a different color than in person and you need um a different color. You can just take it out of this test strand, but once you open the actual package of the hair, there is no going back. There is no returning, so i highly suggest that you guys make sure you take advantage of the test strands to see if it matches clip it in your hair. It doesn't really matter how i would just like clip it at the top and, as you can see like you, could check and see if it blends in with your hair, as you guys can see that blends in perfectly with my hair, so um, i just got I'Ll put like all the information of all of the hair, like the hair that i got personally, i think it might be it's either: 22 inches or 24 inches, i'm like not 100 sure um, but the hair is super soft super great quality. I actually tried it yesterday and i've been wearing it for the past two days and it's very beautiful, very beautiful, luxurious hair feels so much better than my hair extensions. I had previously um, i love them and yeah, so i'm gon na i have a tutorial up on my channel of how i put my hair extensions in, but basically first i start with two three clips and then i go on to the two four clips and Then i go on to the two two clips, so i'm gon na put my hair extensions in really quickly and then we're gon na style it together. Okay, so this is my hair with the hair extensions and, as you guys can see it's a lot longer. It goes all the way down to like my waist, and it's fine like this. Personally, it's a little messy for me um, so i'm gon na curl it with you guys, i'm just gon na first put on some hair oil just to make it sleek. You could use products on your hair, you could use heat on your hair, you could wash it you could just treat it with hair and love and they'll. Last you i personally to do a half of my hair at like one time. I'M gon na grab a clip and clip this part of my hair and just do that and then i'm going to get the top half of my hair and clip that up as well to do the top half separately. So i'm just gon na brush it out and the thing i really like about these extensions. Is they really grip onto your hair? Well, they don't slip down when you're like pull it or brush it or anything um, but i feel like it's kind of difficult for you guys to see my hair, while my shirt is black, but i'm just going to grab like little, maybe like inch sections of My hair and i'm using this curling iron. It looks like this, i'm not sure like the measurements or anything, i got it from ulta um and i could put heat protectant on before. Just so, you guys know, and i don't curl it the right way. You'Re supposed to use it because i just think this is easier, so what i do is basically see how i curled this one with the hair going over. So then i just hold it into my palm until it like cools down. This helps the curl stay longer and there's one curl so that one was over. I think it doesn't um, so this one i'm going to go under so i'm going to go under the curling iron and i'm just going to keep alternating from under over under over. As you guys know, i'm originally a blonde. I'M not originally born, i'm originally like born with brown hair um. So i think with me is once i start feeling insecure and not really feeling myself, i kind of like to change my hair up a little bit. So i was feeling super insecure. My mental state was super down the train and i just felt like i needed a change like i needed a confidence boost and i needed something to change. So that is why i ended up dying. My hair blonde blonde is a lot of upkeep and all those are pretty cool um. It is very expensive and you do have to make appointments every so often to get it retouched before it stops. Looking good, you have to do with brassy tones. You have to deal with different shades of blonde. You have to deal with all of that stuff, and it's just something that i wasn't really like interested in doing anymore. I did it for around two years um. Every time i go to the hair salon, it'd be like 300 just to get touched up, and it just was. It was good while it lasted with this um upcoming. Like summer, i decided to go back to brown, but i wanted. I originally always wanted to go black, but i always got talked out of it. So i went like a dark dark brown like a dark chocolate brown and i actually really ended up liking it until my hair started fading because i did have blonde underneath that brown. So i started fading and started becoming lighter brown, and i decided that i'm finally ready to go black, so i went black and every time i dye my hair. I always end up feeling more confident like when i was blonde. I kind of felt like i was losing my confidence, so i went back to brown and i feel like i got much more confident and then, after dyeing my hair black, i feel even thank you. You get the same thing matthew part of my hair, but so i'm going to move on to the top part. It'S super super easy. The hair is pretty thick, but it's still super um, simple and easy to style. Now that i have black hair, i am super confident i feel, like my hair looks amazing. I love the black and i was kind of scared, like oh, going um dark like in the summer time, because usually this is a time where everybody goes blonde and i was like, like i'm gon na regret it. But honestly, when i was talking to my hairstylist, she was like, if it makes me feel any better, i'm getting a lot more clients that are going back to their natural hair, color or that are going back to brown rather than going blonde this summer, and i Feel like a lot of people are, i feel like if the blonde is kind of over for a lot of people, some people can pull it off. Some people um look better, but me personally, i feel like i just like i like dark hair. I don't think i'll ever go back to light hair um anytime soon. I think black is end game for me. I did feel a little bit like weird at first with black hair, like i kind of felt um like it looked weird, but i got used to it very easy to style. I mean i've only. I think i've been curling, my hair for like six minutes. That'S what it says all my time or anything, so it only takes me like 10 minutes to do this, probably at all - and i did cut some bangs. So it's a little difficult to curl these front pieces, but i try my best. So this is one half of my hair done and it just has like little waves in it and i, like my hair, it's not super curled, it's just like little waves because i feel like it's cute like that. Go on to my next side um, but yeah. I definitely feel like a lot of you guys once i went brown. A lot of you guys were saying. Oh, my gosh i've been debating on going brown like should i or i've been debating on going back to black or i've been debating and going back to dark after being blonde for a year or two years or however much you guys have like. However, long and honestly to everybody who's thinking about going black, i think you guys should just go for it, because i definitely think if you are blonde right now, you should go to like a brown, maybe even a dark brown, just to kind of see how you, Like it because me personally, as soon as i seen myself like with the brown hair, i knew it like. I knew like i instantly fell in love, and i remember when i used to go blonde like after every appointment i used to be like. Oh it's cute. I just i don't know how i feel about it yet, because i just didn't really know how i liked it on my skin tone or like on my undertones. I didn't really know how i felt about the the thickness of the highlights that i had because a lot sometimes when i went to like certain people, they gave me really like thick highlights, and it's not really what i wanted. I wanted more baby lights, so it just honestly depends on who, who you are and who you trusted your hair. I'M gon na tell you guys all of the information on what hair dye i use as well um. I think i showed the box in my dye. I think it starts with the m and i got it from sally's and it was like a gel one and it's i'm pretty sure it's jet black. After having hair extensions, i feel, like my confidence, definitely boosted just because i haven't been able to grow my hair to be this long, and i personally me i feel, like i feel better and i look better in longer hair and even if you just want to Have long hair for like a certain event like if you're going like for prom, for example, a lot of people get hair extensions for prom, and it's honestly i prefer clip ins rather than like the sew-ins or like the tape ins, because you could take them off At the end of the night - and you could put them on whenever you want and with the clip-ins, it's just i thought or with the like, if you go, get them done at the salon, i feel like it's a lot of upkeep and it's super expensive. I feel like clip ins are less damaging to your hair as well as it's like honestly with like sew-ins. I feel like they get like your hair extensions. They do it uncomfortable, sometimes just because you know they're on your head, so i feel like it's really like good to know and have the peace of mind that you can take them off at the end of the night. You know and be comfortable again and be free, because i don't know if i'd survive having like sew-ins or anything like that, because i think that i get way too irritated with them and end up like pulling them out of my head. I actually know a couple people who have done that, so these are also pretty affordable, especially for like their quality and for my blonde ones that i have before i use for a really long time and super good quality, especially for the price, because i got like 22 or 24 inches, which is like the longest and they're still like pretty affordable, they're like under the 500 mark, which i'm pretty like that's for me, pretty affordable, especially for real hair. So this is what they look like now super long super cute. I love them. They'Re, just like a little curl, and i love that uh some sometimes i would curl my hair before like, for example, when i get ready for school um or if i have somewhere to be early in the morning i'll, do my extensions and curl them before and I'Ll leave them on my vanity so that in the morning i can just like fix my hair up a little bit and then put the extensions in and the extensions honestly if the extensions are curled and my hair is just straight with a little like curl at The end they'll blend perfectly fine, so it's also super um. It saves a lot of time getting ready in the morning um because you just clip it in and you're done and you're ready to go and you don't have to worry about bad head or your curls. Not looking the same so yeah um, that's how i put my hair extensions is what it looks like after i'm gon na go, get dressed and continue on with my day um, but anyway. Also, if you guys see that my face is kind of lighter than my arm, just because my arms got super like tan, like my upper back and my arms, only like my lower back is still white. My neck and, like my body, is still like pretty pale. But my upper back and my arms are getting pretty dark because of the sun so um. I really don't know what to match my foundation to my neck and the rest of my body or my arms. So i'm a lot of different colors right now, but my tans fade so fast, i'm not even gon na worry about it, but anyway um.
