My 4C Natural Hair Journey (How I Grew My Hair Long)

Hey guys so today i'm going to be sharing with you guys my natural hair journey, because it has been a very, very long journey, but, as you can see my hair right now, my hair is giving like i'm so loving my hair right now, even though i Colored it i feel my natural hair videos are coming to an end, so i feel i should just share with you guys my natural hair journey when i started and how i got here. I can't believe i got this far honestly, but we're here and i have to visit us right here, but let's cue in the footage or whatever and i hope you enjoy. In 2019, i decided to cut off my hair because at the time my hair was relaxed and very unhealthy. I thought about it for a while, i even asked my friends, but then i decided to just cut it off. I went to the baby saloon and i had my hair chopped off. I looked so weird come on, oh my goodness, so i couldn't believe i had my hair cut off, but i did and i decided to start all over again and you know, grow my hair out and have this natural it was going just fine. My hair was all low cut and looking good, even though sometimes i look good, but i loved it at the time it was growing so well, even though my hair doesn't grow fast yeah, but it was growing just fine. So then i decided to do something weird. I went ahead to jericho in my head because i wanted to do it for my channel at the time i've seen it all over the place, so i decided to just try it out. I did it, i was, you know, trying out all natural ingredients treating my hair, you know trying to make it look good. I haven't tried, not rice, water and a lot of things just to make my hair look healthy and curly, and all that good stuff. My hair was looking good, it was a journey, but it was looking good even though my hair doesn't grow fast, but it was growing at its own pace. It was growing and i was treating it just fine. My channel was making me care for my hair. I was trying all natural ingredients, it was coming just fine at the time i loved my hair being curly. I even got a lot of attention from people asking me how i did the course where i did it and all of that i loved my hair being curly, but then my hair just started shredding so bad like so bad. It was bad. I even did a lot of natural treatments like there is nothing i didn't do, but then i researched and i found that it was the jericho that was causing my hair to shred. I didn't know what to do. I was just devastated because my hair was shredding. So bad it was looking bad. Every day i come out of my hair. A chunk of hair would just come out. I couldn't bear it anymore, then i decided to just cut off my hair all over again and started a fresh. You know there is no harm. Is that an afresh you know so i started a lot fresh. I started treating my hair and my hair started coming back to life. Honestly, i was so so happy. I started feeling more confident in my hair, like i started, treating my hair, i used all natural ingredients. I used aloe vera. I used rice water. There is nothing i didn't use to care for my hair. Even when i braided my hair, i was still caring for my hair because i just didn't want to get any excuses on why my hair started breaking out again or falling out again or shredding. You know things like that makes me sad and my channel actually helped me a lot like whenever i'm filming, for you guys, you know creating natural hair videos, it actually helped me care for my hair and i loved it and ninety percent of the time i normally Have cornrows it actually helps my hair grow a lot because my hair normally doesn't grow. It doesn't just grow out fast, but it was just growing consistently like when i make braids it looks nice like. I was just loving this, my new hair, because, having this channel honestly helped me because normally i'm not the kind that cares for my hair, but having this channel made me started caring for my hair and that's one of the things i appreciate, because normally i can Just start making natural hair things like mixing avocado to apply to my hair, but this channel made me start caring for my hair and my hair started growing. I was seeing a lot of improvements, even though it doesn't grow fast, but it was just growing at its own pace and it was looking very, very healthy and full, and that was one thing i love about it. I could right now i could pack my hair style it. However, i want. I just couldn't believe this is me because me two years ago my hair was just looking all tattered and you know unkept, but right now my hair looks really good and i appreciate this channel for it over the years 2021 and this year that's a year and A half my hair has gotten very long to me because normally even get this long, it got really healthy. Like honestly, even my hairline seemed to have disappeared, but don't worry it's still there, but my hair really got healthy and full. I loved it. Honestly, it made me so confident, fast forward to june 2022. That'S a month ago, i just decided to color my hair, because why not i've never actually done that before i thought it would be cool. You know to have a new style and a new look. So i thought about it and i decided to just go for it. This is when they bleached it. It was looking um. I was like. Maybe i would like this, but then yeah i chose buns orange. It looks more like wine, red or maybe i don't know, but i really really love this color like i fell in love with it. So this is my new look and the color just imagine how long my hair has gotten. It was really a journey like i'm. So proud of myself, because normally my hair isn't looking like this, it wasn't looking like this yeah. I could attack myself, but i loved my hair. I was feeling my hair, you know everywhere. I got they asked me: where did you color your hair, like everyone loved it and i loved it as well? So that's my natural hair journey. I hope you enjoyed it and honestly, as you can see, i really tried and i've come a long way so and i hope you actually help your own hair out, don't mind you i'm looking right now, i'm actually very ill, as you can see in my eyes. I'M even wearing a sweatshirt because i'm so cold, but um i'm getting better, but it still doesn't stop me from creating content for you guys so yeah don't mind this. This is how our hairline is. I i got this hairline from my father. It'S it's not new! For my audi, subscribers y'all know how at least how my hairline is, but my hair in general is really really healthy.
