Hey youtube, so today's gon na be a fun video. I'M going to be taking out my tape and extensions got my comfy friend's shirt. It'S like actually like a pajama set. My friend's mug got this on amazon. After i saw diana confederate. I have one and shared about the one that she has in her stories and i've been drinking it from it ever since i got it absolutely love it. I think it was like 15 or 16, but anyway, back to the tape and hair extensions. I actually just got my hair done. What is today. I don't even know what day it is half the time i got my hair done saturday. It is tuesday so that that aged very well. I actually love i've been going to the same here. Girl julie for the longest time this time around, i decided to add some lightness to my ends. As you guys can see right here. It actually looks really pretty. On camera, my hair looks nice and full and thick it's like a nice blend from like a chocolate brown to more of like a caramel blonde. If you will, the nice thing about tape and extensions - is that when you take them out, because these are so new, they are reusable and the ones that i got. These are off of amazon from amazing beauty. Here they came with like this clip in this brush. They came with an extra set of tape, so you can reuse them. The hair is um. I washed it only once ever since i put it in and i don't know it's just i don't know. Maybe i just want to change. Maybe it's just like one of those things i do want to cut my hair short. I was planning to cut it short like in february for my next appointment, but i might move it up even sooner. I wanted like a short shortcut. I'Ve always had short hair because i have fine thin hair. I feel, like short, hair works the best if you find thin hair, because you can kind of add volume to the top and make it look fluffier than it is without having to use extensions. If i don't have extensions, my hair is like stringy, especially now. I feel like there's so much breakage on the ends, so it's like so thin on the ends i feel like. I have no choice but to cut it off, so i was looking at something like this. I think her hair is so cute. Obviously she has more hair than i do so. I'M kind of worried how my hair is going, how it's going to look on my hair, but i don't know we'll see worst case scenario, i'll just put tape. Ins on the sides right here, maybe like two: it's like not the end of the world, i'm just gon na take them out and i want to start fresh chop it off. 20. 21. What'S the worst! That can happen right, so i bought this remover off of amazon and i've already used it. When i took out my previous extensions, it's like a blend of alcohol and it says mineral oil and alcohol and it works like a charm. It worked like a charm for my other extensions at least i had no issues taking it out, so i'm going to use the same one again. So here's a piece of tape, the way that i do it. Obviously, if you don't know what you're doing, i would definitely recommend getting them professionally removed. My hair, my head, actually feels kind of sore still every time i get new tapens close to my scalp. It feels sore for like half a week and then once it grows out, it feels better, but i feel like all that tension is just not good for fine thin hair, so i don't know i'm just gon na take them out. So this is what the tip looks like. It makes it easy for the product to come out and for you to be able to get in between the two tapes. So the way table extension works is you have two sections and you sandwich them together in between your own hair and to remove them you're going to want to kind of pry open ever so slightly, so you can put that tip in there get that tip in There so i start off with the top corner, don't tug too hard, because you want to rip out your own hair and squeeze the tip in there. I don't know if you guys could even see what i'm doing, and this remover actually works very well to loosen the tape it makes it not sticky, and i just kind of pull apart slowly. You do want to be patient. You don't want to just peel it back like uh. What do you call those um shaving strips like the wax strips? You know what you want to do that just take your time. You want to be gentle. This is your hair, especially if you have fine thin hair like i do you know you just definitely want to be gentle and careful just squeeze some remover as you go go along and the tape peels right back. It'S supposed to come right off. No problem slide right out of your hair. This is all that the tape was holding on to so imagine if you find thin hair like i do you get this much volume for this much hair you're like replacing it's, you get incredible amount of volume with tape. In so these are still in very good condition, because they're, obviously almost brand new, but i'm just gon na go ahead. I actually really love the color, it's kind of sad removing them. I feel like most people can do this at home and it saves you usually they charge to remove them at the salon and it saves you time at the salon as well as long as you know what you're doing, and you know you're careful. If you don't, then i don't recommend this at home. You should not have any of your own hair on the tape unless the only way, the only time that you might have your own hair on the tape is uh. Your hair, obviously naturally sheds. So if you have tape and extensions, your hair will fall out and it has nowhere to go. So it's going to be stuck onto the tape. So if you have like a few pieces, it's not a big deal, but if you can see like follicles because you ripped it out, then i would probably be worried. I think the same thing applies for lashes. Your lashes naturally shed. So when you take them off you'll see some lash fall out, because your lashes, you know, have a growth cycle, as does your hair. So it's not something to be worried about. But if you are seeing damage and follicles, then you know that's a whole different story. All right, this is the last extension piece right here. Sometimes i even do it from the top and just kind of let the glue loosen. This was a fairly quick process, but then again i only had 50 grams of hair in because my hair is thin. So i was able to get away with 50 grams. Some of the tape pieces literally came right off with no issue. It'S as if the glue the tape didn't hold very well so compared to the full shine extensions. I would say this tape wasn't as durable and i didn't even have it for a week um. So i could just feel just based off of how easy it was to remove some of them. They just slid right off, which could be a good thing or a bad thing, but then you also want them to last for two months or so so now that they're all out i'm gon na brush my hair, my hair is filled with alcohol, so it's kind Of gross, but as i mentioned my hair is it is fine, it is thin, it's nothing new. If you watched any of my other videos, you already know that i have thin fine hair. I feel like i've. I have a few videos where i kind of went through products that i would use to give myself a volume uh the best product for thin friend here. In my opinion, one of the best products was usually dry shampoo for me like a good root lifter and a dry shampoo. I actually recently started using monet products, i'm not affiliated with them. I don't like have my own account with them or anything. I just buy it through this one girl and i bought there. I think it's their renew shampoo and their restore leave in conditioner and i bought a root lifter. So i used the root lifter last night and my hair still has volume to this day like at the root. I only apply a little bit right here right here and in the back, so i think the root lifter is really great. If you have finer thinner, hair and it doesn't leave your hair feeling gross, so i have a few new products coming in that i ordered i purchased the intense repair treatment and the intense repair shampoo so really excited for those, and then i got a free travel Size of rejuva beads, which is like a split end mender, because i feel like my ends, need some love. Look at my ends. They look like some of my hair stops here. Some of it stops here some of it stops here. So it's not all in length. So if all your hair is one length obviously looks fuller, that's why they recommend trimming your hair um. This is why i want to get a haircut and probably cut it like right here and get like some curtain bangs like that photo. I don't know we'll see. I really love the color. Julie did an amazing job with the color one of the oh, my god. It feels so so thin. It'S so sad! So sad, so once those monet products come in, i want to try them out for a bit and kind of do like a hair care routine and how my hair is doing update after using them for a month or so probably do that in february sometime. One of my favorite styles, if you have thinner hair um, is kind of this sleek low, bun type situation. I have very, very small bun, so what i like to do is just kind of um. Let me just show you what i did i'll just go like this, as you can tell don't mind the really thin hair i'll go like this like this. I do it three times, because this is a bigger um, thai hair tie and then i just spread it out to make it look like my bun is bigger than it actually is, and then you can put in some gold hoops or whatever, and i feel like It'S a great sleek hairstyle and you don't have to worry about applying heat to your hair, and this is one of my go-to hairstyles for sure when i have no extensions or anything, if you guys want to watch my extensions video that i got off of amazon, They are so great um. They are super great for finding here. Let me actually go get them, so i can show you. So here are the extensions right here. I got them off of amazon they're from full shine, they're, absolutely beautiful, with clip in the extensions. I don't usually wash them, because i only wear them for like several hours throughout the day, if, even only when i want volume and look at how thin the um weft is, that holds it together. It'S super thin, so it lays flat against your head virtually undetectable. So these are really great if you guys want to check that video out another option. If you have thin fine here um, this does involve heat, so it's not a non-heat option, but it's using this waiver right here. It'S not for everyone. I gives me a ton of a volume and it lasts all day i'll show you guys a picture. I posted it to my instagram a while back when i curled my hair. It kind of looks like this. This is without any extensions or anything and the hair. Just looks nice and full much fuller than is than as, if i were to keep it flat. I feel, like my techniques, are always changing when it comes to giving myself volume, but i have found throughout the years and throughout the 28 years that i've been alive. I have found that shorter hair having shorter hair, even if it's like this um, is the best for my fine thin hair, because i can make it look much more voluminous than it actually is, because when it grows out, it's just you can tell how thin it Is once it starts growing out a few other things that i love are things like scrunchies, because scrunchies are so big and massive? They kind of conceal the small, tiny ponytail that you have so, for example, if i wanted to do a bun like this, the bigger the scrunchie, it conceals um kind of hides how small the bun is so scrunchies are great as well, so there are definitely options For thinner, finer, hair people, maybe i'll do like a better video. This is mainly just to show you guys how i removed my extensions. I mean it's obviously sad when they are removed, but i just kind of want to give my hair some love and take care of it better, and i feel like the tape and extensions, even though they're fairly damage free. I don't know i just want to keep my hair like this for now let it breathe so it doesn't weigh anything down. You know. People say that your hair is like the crown of your head. Our crowns just look a little different and that's okay doesn't mean they're, any less sparkly or amazing. Just got ta work a little bit harder, sometimes to make them stand out totally fine, just the hand that i've been dealt - and you know such is life. You know there are obviously options if you can change something about yourself within reason, whether it's cutting your hair coloring, it yeah, you know working out putting in tape and clip-ins whatever, whatever you don't like within reason, then you know go for it. So i hope you guys enjoy this video, removing these extensions. Thank you guys. So much for watching and i'll see you guys in future videos.

The Bayley’s: Intense repair can be great, but it can also be drying. So if you notice that, just switch it up a bit, maybe alternate with your Renew. And talk to your consultant often. That’ll help you figure out your perfect regimen. It took my hair about a year to turn around. But now I love the results. Also, turn the heat down. Once your hair doesn’t have all the junk caked on it, it doesn’t need as much heat. Plus you don’t want to put a lot of heat on raw hair, not even in the shower.

Ana Shubina: I have fine, thin hair too and it’s been one of my biggest insecurities for a while but I actually think your hair is super cute!

Lisa Rhoades: I started watching your channel because I also have fine thin hair. Your hair looks nice to me . I love MONAT! I wouldn’t say it made my hair thicker but definitely healthier. Use the Black shampoo and let it detox your scalp. Wow my scalp feels so good after years of product. It looked like I had dandruff for a few weeks but it was old caked on product.

Kristi Hensley: Have you considered invisible bead extensions? Your hair would be perfect for that method! Monat also has a thickening spray that works quite well.

Huma Khan: Doesn’t make anyone’s crown any less sparkly, their own and beautiful to them, even if you have to work at it. I love that! Great content ❤️ your videos!

Tina Park: Ive been using irestore helmet- hair growth laser treatment- for the past year. I can tell a difference in the thickness of my hair!

Jojo Gojo: Absolutely LOVE the color of your hair here, so rich and healthy looking

Hannah: My hair is very similar to yours and I completely get it why you are removing the extensions. I try to keep my hair healthy but every time I had extensions on I felt a great amount of pulling which didn’t feel right. I usually got for a bob / lob as my hair looks it’s best when it is on a shorter side. Your hair looks really nice without the extensions, you should embrace it!

Bella & Bliss Life: Hi! I use the high frequency facial wand on my scalp. It helps for hair growth. On amazon it’s around $40. I also have the fusion bonded extensions on my short hair

Diana Zak: Don't be sad, you are not alone with fine thin hair. I love your channel

dujmovo: Hi Tash, have you tried halo extensions? If so, how do you compare those to the clip ins? I have the same hair type and agree that my hair looks the best when it's short.

deanne olinger: I had tape ins and they bothered my scalp all the time. I watched another gal who instead of using two wefts of the hair they used one weft then Covered with a piece of tape..

Mel's World: How long does it take to get just one out? Thanks for sharing

Beyourownkindofbeautiful: Your absolutely beautiful with and without extensions.

Maggie A: I’ve seen you’ve tried on a few wigs in previous videos, but have you tried a hair topper?

Marie Fergus: Hello - new subscriber - would u do demo on how u made the flower display above ur bed. It's lovely.

layal: I remove mine at home by using baby oil (Johnsons) its very good
