When Hair Extensions Don'T Match!! | Can I Make It Work?! | Zala Tape Extensions

Is so much more silver than my hair, so i'm already freaking out a little bit. That'S what i like about you so dangerous! I know if you're new here welcome and my name is juliette and if you are one of my lovely subscribers coming back. Thank you. So much i know this is a really weird setup to come into. I'Ve got no makeup on i've. Just got out the shower and dried my hair, because i am just about to put in my new solar extensions. So if you are new here, i wear tape. Extensions because my hair is crap and um. I actually dyed it on my last vlog and, as you can see, it's kind of like multi-tonal now, because i'm ditching the bleach and i've got colour and bleach. So i've done something that i have never done before and that is order two different shades. I'Ve been putting my own type extensions in for years, but i've never done this um and i'm really nervous. I'M not gon na lie because the colors are these, and this is so much more silver than my hair. So i'm already freaking out a little bit. That'S not gon na match and then this one is a little bit that probably does match. But this one is very silver, so i've done it now i've bought them. I will link all the shades and everything below i have a little bit of a brain wave. But if i'm honest extensions do go brassy as well, so do always bear that in mind. I'Ve got a video coming about all different types of extensions, especially for thin and fine hair and because i think they're just like the best thing since sliced bread. So these are the silver ones and they are a tad bit more silver than my hair. At the moment, so it's kind of freaking me out, but we're just going to roll with it. These are the other sets. So i had a shade 60, which is ice blonde like a platinum and then this is shade 51, which is vanilla blonde. So this one's a little creamier than my hair and this one's a little grayer than my hair. So i'm kind of hoping that if i mix the two together we're gon na get something so anyway, i've set you up down here, because um the kids are in bed and i've. Just like kind of put one of my mirrors. That'S got to go in my bedroom, which i'm still yet to unbox and another tall mirror here and i'm just gon na have a go. I'M gon na go through everything on how to fit them, because i have done loads of type videos, so i'll leave those linked in the description box below. So i spoke a little bit about extensions about where i get them from and stuff. These are zarla hair extensions and they are amazing. I bought beauty works last time, which again was so so good, but just so much more expensive. These have come from australia and even coming from australia, they've cost half the price, so um yeah. That'S the long and short story of that now i would love one day to do my own globe, beauty extensions, but you know dream big and all that jazz. So, anyway, tape extensions come like this and they do exactly what they say on the tin. They tape together. So what i was thinking was to get one of each tape and as they would normally sandwich together, um one get an ice blonde and a vanilla blonde and tighten them together. I don't know if you can actually see that on camera now, because, but it's kind of like a two-tone kind of shade, so it just makes it a little bit multi-tonal and i'm thinking that that will fit perfectly in my hair. If i just pop that there can you see it's kind of just giving a multi-tonal effect, but i know what i'm thinking in my head, whether it's gon na work, i do not know, let's just crack on, say the way that you talk to me. The way that you make me, oh you make me, feel fine. I wan na look at you all night. Put you in that spot nice. I'Ve just been moving you around, because i kind of need the light. It'S so awkward in here, but i'm really chubby with how it's blending look really really pleased. Um i've put like three rows in now around the back. I'M just gon na do more around the front, because obviously my hair is pretty short, so the back is actually not bad. Now it's pretty much blended and so yeah, i'm gon na work on the sides to blend it round the sides i mean i could probably get away with that. To be honest, i've still got one two. How many we've got left got quite a bit one. Two three: four: five, six, seven, eight nine i've got nine sandwiches, so 18 pieces left looking at the back now, i'm just trying to work out whether i need another row i could probably do is put in another row in um. But we'll start from around the front, because i always really worry that i'm never going to have enough around the front. So if i start from the front, i can work around um but yeah. How cool is that for a blend really really pleased really proud of myself? Let'S carry on around the front, okay, so ignore the football. In the background, your roses on um but yeah, i finished i've managed to get pretty much every single one in apart from one last sandwich, but i'm quite happy with the blend on that. I didn't think it would blend as well as it has. I'M really really pleased couldn't be happier, so it's a bit late now for you to be able to see in the light, because i've got my ring light on so in the morning when i've slept on it, i will show you what it looks like, but um. First, impressions really really like these colors. It'S just really multi-tonal really pleased okay. So i ignore that fact that lucas is watching youtube stuff in the background - and i have i've got no eyelashes on so bear with me because i'm just about to do an eyelash video, but i have just washed my hair for the first time. So what i really like to do is wear the extensions for a few days to let them settle. Then i will wash it and i will cut it because, obviously, when you put them in there are different lengths, let me try and move you can move your paper. It might be a little bit better, actually so anyway, yeah i like to wash it because when you put extensions in they're in they're on like different lengths, so well they're different lengths, obviously because they'll be longer at the bottom, i'm just going to brush through it And then give it a bit of a trim, so it's all one length and then i will draw it and you can have a look, what they look like now they feel loads softer than they did before. I don't know if they've changed their extensions, um, so yeah. I always think it's good to give it a good wash by the way i bought this brush the other day from home bargains. It was only 2.99, i think, and it's for the shower, but it is so so nice going through your hair. It doesn't pull your hair out and for extensions. It'S amazing because with the tapes it doesn't catch on any types. Can you see so yeah? I'M really really pleased um regarding the color match really really pleased again. I thought that would be brilliant to have a wash because they were very, very icy, so yeah giving them a wash will make them a little less icy because all extensions start black and they are bleached and then toned to get that ice white. So it's! Oh! It reacts just the same as normal hair like the more they wash the brassiere. They will get. I'M just going to give this a dry now and then i'm just going to give it a cut now and then dry it and then show you what they look like finished, dried it all and blow dried it. I i'm gon na keep an eye on these, because this is the first time so all the hair feels different to like it did last time. I don't know if they've changed it, i'm really. I don't know. Maybe it's just me because i'm not used to having thick hair - i don't know anyway, i'm going to run some bond smooth through it. So this is the olaplex that i use. I use all the olaplex, but this is the number six. This is amazing for extensions and for normal hair, but you literally need the tiniest amount. I'Ve had this for a long time. You just put a pea-sized amount, literally like that. That'S probably too much actually rub it together and then run it through your hair and it smells incredible. But it is so good at fighting frizz, just smoothing your hair out and it smells lovely and it makes your hair feel silky and beautiful and yeah. I can highly recommend that olaplex, i use the shampoo, the conditioner the masks and then the bond smoother out of everything. I think, and obviously i think the shampoo and conditioner has helped my hair a lot, but i do feel that the bond smoother makes the biggest difference to my hair. Like my two of my extensions, because it just completely, i mean look how much smoother that looks already yeah. I'M just questioning these extensions because i've used zarla for years and i use beauty works and i think beauty works are incredible and i've gone back to zala, and i don't know whether it's just this time round. It feels like, when i've just dried, that it feels like they went really frizzy um, which isn't normal for me, but yeah really happy with that. So i'm gon na drop a huge just straightener curls into it, um, because i'm going to a baby shower today. So i'm gon na do it, but i'm just going to quickly pop my lashes on um and then i will curl it and i will show you so she's going to put my lashes on first. Okay, so i've just washed dried i've got to change my bra. Please ignore that i've just washed dried straightened well and styled this, so i've just put a few curls in this now, and this is what it looks like this is the color like i say i am so so pleased because when i first opened it up, the Platinum blonde was so white and gray, but i definitely think by mixing the two colors together, like the color. Just is really multi-tonal. It is so beautiful and i'm so so pleased with how it looks yeah. So that is it.
