Hey guys, so I wanted to talk to you all about my hair care routine. Now that I do have hair extensions in it has changed a little bit. I also got my hair colored. Yesterday, I'm going back a little bit lighter so more blonde. My natural hair color is actually blind, so I know how to take care of it, but of course you know when you have colored blonde hair, it is a little bit different than if your hair is naturally blond. So basically, what I like to do now that I have extensions in. Obviously you can't, I don't have to do. Have the tape, hair extensions. You obviously can't use anything with sulfates in it. Sulfates. Not only does it it. Doesn'T it it's bad for colored hair. It does strip the color from your hair, it's also very bad for hair extensions, especially the tape in um. I do have the tape and hair extensions and I do have a review on it on my channel, but basically they are taped into your hair using a medical-grade. Can you even see it using medical-grade tape, so you can see it right there. So basically, you don't want to do anything to loosen that bond, so using any type of conditioner on your scalp, any type of oils or any type of sulfates can actually loosen the bond and cause the extensions to slip out of your hair. So you don't want to do that, so I only use sulfate free conditioners and shampoos, but basically that's the one thing you want to look for. You don't want to use anything that has oil in it that you're going to be putting directly on your scalp. So nothing that says it has oil in it, don't want to put it directly on your scalp, it's okay! If you put it like on the ends, because your if you do have extensions they're, not actually attached to your scalp, so they don't get the natural oils that your hair does. So it's good to include like an oil, serum or some type of oil in your routine anyway. So first off we'll start with, we will start with shampoos and conditioners. So the first thing that I have here is: I have the joy, Co, capac, conditioner and shampoo. The capac is for color-treated hair, it's very good. It preserves the color and my Paris damage. It also has protein keratins in it. So it's good for your hair it'll. Also, if you have damaged hair it'll help to restore the damage in your hair. I don't use this on a daily basis, just because I don't find the commissioners it's moisturizing, as I like it to be. I only wash my hair about I'm what I try to do it every three days, other mattes, every other day. I do not wash my hair every day. It'S not good for your hair or your extensions. It'Ll dry them out, since your extensions, don't actually get the natural oils from your hair, so I try to wash them as little as possible. I do use dry shampoo in between. If I go more than two days, I do use dry shampoo, but I really do like this shampoo and conditioner. I feel like it really does help to restore my hair. It'S just not as moisturizing as I'd like. So I alternate between the next one I'm gon na show you. I alternate between these two, the shampoo and the conditioner, and what I'm just gon na I'm gon na show you in a moment, so the next ones I have is. I have the pure ology smooth perfection. Conditioner I want it. I want to get I'm gon na try another one, but the pure ology is my favorite. It'S very moisturizing. It'S it's very good. I really love it um. It makes my hair feel so smooth, even in the shower and after I get out of shower, I really just love it. It makes my hair feel so smooth it's just it's awesome. I love pure ology products. It took me a while to buy Kabuli because they are not cheap. This baby is thirty bucks at Ulta, but it's so worth the investment. It really is, like my extensions, have never felt this good. I love it and then the reason I they are alternating between those two is because I don't want to use this up because it is expensive. So I alternate between the two conditioners, but this one is by far the best, I'm just using a joy-filled, conditioner and she'll. I use up my until it's gone, but I mean I do like it. I just think the pure ology is better basically and then, since I do have blonde hair hair. Now I use the blonde. The blonde ale brightening shampoo. It is the bike dry bar, and I alternate this between the joy Co shampoo, just because this is a notes of purple shampoo. If you can tell it's a purple shampoo, so that means it's like toning, but toning can also be a little drawing. So I use it every other wash so that way I still get the toning effect, but it's not so drying on my on my hair, so I really love that you guys just broke it. Of course I just broke it but um. I love the dry bar. It'S very it's not very moisturizing, and that's the only thing you don't have to say about it that I don't really like its it's, not super moisturizing, but other than that I mean it really does work to UM, to tone my hair and get like any brassiness Out, I really do love it um, so the next thing I'm use would be like a deep conditioner um. I haven't bought the full size, but so far I've really been loving. The pure ology color, fantastic, instant, deep conditioner mask. I just have a sample. I do plan to get the full size as soon as this one's out, but I've already use this one about three times. It'S really good already use this one about three times, and I probably have another use out of this so and it was only eight dollars at Ulta, so not bad just to try it. But there is a lot in this little pack and I really love it. Basically, what I do is, I put I you know before I get in the shower and I washed my hair and then before I put into any conditioner I get out of the shower. I wring out my hair as much as I can, and then I put probably I'm not really sure how much I just get enough to where it coats all of my hair and then I put it up in a bun and I wrap it in like a Towel or something, and I leave it in for like an hour or two and then I wash it out and then I follow up with shampoo or with my conditioner, usually what I'll do is. I will use that mask on the days where I use the joy Co conditioner that way, it's just a little more intensive hydration, but I love to use that the mask is fantastic. I highly recommend it. It does a great job at repairing your hair, and my hair always feels so soft afterwards, and I just feel like it really repairs it. It makes it more manageable, my hair and the extensions I just love it. Just don't put it like on your scalp. If you're putting it cuz, I do cuz, you know my natural hair needs to be moisturizes too, and so here up at the top, it needs some moisturizer. So I just like run it through the top, but I do not put it like on my scalp directly near the bonds, because you don't want to loosen it right. So after I do that, I have a few leave-in conditioners and phrase that I like to use. So I do have that pure ology, smooth perfection, intense smoothing cream. This is actually just the sample size. I really like this. It smells good too. Basically, what you do is like, after you wash your hair and condition, and everything you'll take a little bit of this. While your hair is still damp, rub it in and just rub it through your hair and then you style it. It'S normally so blow dry air dry, whatever you want to do, and it's just a really good smoothing cream. So if you, if you suffer for frizz and everything, you would really love that and then the next thing I use is actually I have a couple that I like to alternate the pure ology color fanatic. What is this? The multitasking hair beautifier for perfecting color treated hair, so this the the mask. I showed you and okay, so just these two they're made specifically for color-treated hair. So it's really gon na help, not even not even just if you have blonde hair but like any hair. Color, that's colored. It'S really gon na help your color last. So I love that I also use the it's a 10 miracle leave-in product um. I really like this. It helps to detangle my hair and also helps to moisturize it um I've been using that for a year. So it's not anything, that's new, but I really love it. It'S very moisturizing. What I do is I don't spray it anywhere near my roots. I just spray. It like towards the end of my hair, I probably from my ear down I just spray it on the roots or the the ends of my hair, to just moisturize them a little bit. The next thing I use am, I Drescher actually recommended to me. She uses it's the milkshake, leave-in conditioner and they're, not joking. This stuff smells like a milkshake, it smells so good. I got mine off Amazon. I really love to use this. I just spray it all over my hair and it helps to really detangle it um, especially when you have extensions, I feel like they just tangles so easily when they're wet, so it really helps to detangle it. It smells really good and I feel like it does really help moisturize my extension, so that's back to plus, so I use that before, like I blow dry or anything while it's still wet and then recently I don't blow dry my hair often, but when I do, I use the Kendra blow-dry spray, it says the lightweight thermal protectant and I feel like it does actually help my hair dry faster. When you have these type of extensions - and I feel like my just takes like three times as long to dry, my hair, because I feel like like the ends and everything like from here, like all of my hair on the outside - will be dry and then right Near my scalp it'll still be soaking wet and it's just where the bonds dead on my scalp. So they don't. Actually it takes a little bit longer for those to dry. So I like to spray that all over my hair - and I just feel like it really does help to smooth it and help it drive it quicker, um, so see, and what I like to you once my what I like to use once my hair is dry. My favorite dry shampoo is the batiste floral and flirty. Well, this is just a sand, but it's the the t's dry shampoo. It says it's the floral and flirty blush, so I'm not really sure, but this is someone I really like to use. Basically, I just spray it in my roots and I let it sit while all of my doing my makeup or whatever I just sprayed in my roots, all around my hairline and all throughout my roots, and I let it I just let it sit for a couple Minutes, while I do my makeup or getting dressed or whatever, and then once I'm done doing whatever I was doing in between all like massage it into my scalp and then I'll brush my hair out, and that really does help considering I don't need to wash my Hair as often it does help to get like increase or anything, my hair is not so greasy throughout the dates. I really love that I love the batiste, it's not too expensive. You can buy it at the drugstore. I think you can get it all. I know Lamar sells it, but it I think it is cheaper. It Ulta. Surprisingly, let's see what else we really like to use it like. I said you need to add an oil to your hair care routine, especially for using extensions. So I love the joy Co. Capac color dry oil spray. If you don't want like a wet oil, this works fantastic. You just basically just spray it in the ends of your hair, and then I just like to run my fingers through it. It just makes it so shiny and it's like it's not like a hairspray, so it's not sticky or anything, and then you can even use it like on styled hair like on curled hair, because I curled my hair today and you can see it just. I really like it. I feel like it's very moisturizing. It'S convenient cuz, it's not like wet. So it's not like anything. It'S gon na weigh your hair down, it's very lightweight and it's protecting for your color also. So I really like that and the wet oil that I like to use is the Paul Mitchell, smoothing serum. This is smelled like legit watermelons. It smells so good. I like to put this in when my hair's kind of damp before I blow dry, and sometimes I like to put it in after I blow dry, just to make it shinier, but that stuff it smells really good, and it really does help to like smooth out Your hair, especially if your hair is a little like um frizzy, but it doesn't weigh your hair down. So I really love that and then I love to use the joy co smooth cure thermal spray um. I like to use this when I do put heat on my hair. A thing with extensions is it'll only last you as long as you take good care of them, so putting heat on them everyday. It'S not a good idea. Um. I don't use heat on my hair very often, usually what I do is I'll blow dry it when I, when I wash it and then I'll sleep with it in a braid, so it has like a natural texture and then I'm only like style. My hair, with like a curling iron, basically maybe once every two weeks that way, I don't put a whole bunch of heat on him because I'll last longer, but when I do be heat on and that's what I really like to use it's it's not sticky and It doesn't weigh your hair down, so you can put a bunch a bunch of products in your hair and that's not gon na make like affect it, but I really like it I feel like it does help protect my hair. I really like it. I love the way these products make my hair feel and look and then the other thing I like to use is the camera silk. Inning mist. I don't actually like to use a hair spray. My hair, in my extensions, I don't feel like need one like I curled my under today, and this will probably last this will last me all day and then I'll just go to sleep tonight with a braids in my hair and then it'll help. Give me a little bit more texture for tomorrow, but basically, if I feel like I need some hold, I still don't like to use a hairspray I like to use it's Kendra silken Amos. It acts like a hairspray in the way that it'll help your hair hold. That it also makes your hair shiny this stuff smells so good. I really don't know what this smells like, but it smells really good, but it really, it just makes your hair more shiny and it really helps like smoothing it out, making it look, silky and shiny, but it's not gon na give you that crunchy hold that most Hair sprays give I just can't stand it like that's just a product, I don't need ever like. I have a hair spray, but I think I've used it once and that was on my wedding day and not even on me, like. I didn't even use it on my wedding day, so those are the products that I love to use in my hair and the number one thing on this entire video that I can recommend to you. If you have hair extensions, especially type in hair extensions, is this hairbrush, it's C wet on them? It'S the wet and dry by a thick Kalwa, I'm not really sure, but it's sturdy right now, I'm sorry! But basically, if you can see, the bristles are a lot longer and they're more flexible than a traditional hairbrush. So this is fantastic because you're not really missing your extensions, get really when they're wet okay. So you don't want to use a brush, that's going to damage them, while you're trying to brush it on when it's wet. So basically this brush, because the bristles are so longer and they're more flexible if they do get caught in a tangle. It'S gon na untangle. It and not damage your hair. I really love it. It'S really, gentle on my extensions. I really feel like I don't really know, but I just I really love this hairbrush and what my favorite part about it is because the bristles like the bristles on it are so much longer than a traditional hairbrush and because it like it like moves with you, Like when you're moving it, instead of being really stiff, is that it'll help like brush your scalp cuz traditional hair, brushes like I need to get a backup of this and keep it like. I need one it work. I need one of my person. I need one of my car and I need one of my vanity because I really don't like using any other hair brushes. They taste like so flat on my head that I can't feel them unless I'm brushing my hair with a traditional hairbrush, the bristles, on a traditional on your brush, just like they don't move or anything, and so it kind of hurts like if you're you're, trying to Brush your scalp with one it like pulls on the tapes and it like drags them, but this hair brush it like it bends with your tapes so like when you're brushing it. You can literally brush your entire scalp and it's not painful, and it doesn't give me any issues. I really love it, so I can literally brush my hair from root to tip and not having a chew. I highly recommend this hairbrush to go out and buy it right now. If you have any type of hair extensions, you will love this, I'm not even joking. It is so easy to brush off my hair. Now before I don't even know what I was doing before. I felt was brush. To be honest. I really don't like. I guess I was just hurting myself when I was a minor, but it's fantastic. So if you don't get anything out of this video get that hair brush, it's just amazing. So that's all I have for you guys. So that's really all I do for my hair. As far as like the products that I put in it, um yeah, that's pretty much it. I love all the products that I mentioned I'll leave the links to them in the description below so heard, a noise sorry. So if y'all have any questions for me, ya leave leave me a question below. If you tried any of these products or if you have any questions about them, we'll leave it below. Also, if you have any recommendations for me that you've tried that you really love leave it below too, because I love to see those. So thank you all. So much for watching - and I hope you'll have a great day - bye
