First time cutting my own hair and I am impressed with myself lol! It's not perfect but I'm still proud of myself for being able to do this. If you're planning on cutting your own hair, disclaimer: I'm not a professional hairstylist/ hairdresser so cut at your own risk! This worked well for me though so I hope this guide will be useful for you. Happy watching!

What'S up lovers, it's me again, marine and welcome back to my channel today is pretty exciting, because it's going to be my first time cutting my own hair. It took me probably over a month or two to decide if i was really gon na cut my hair, but it reached a point where i really want to do it mostly because it's so hot in the philippines - and i really feel like this - is long for Nina, i know i had longer hair way back, probably like five years ago, but ever since i cut my hair short, but on this is the longest it's been, and i really just want it probably around this length, so i'm gon na cut it. I also made sure that i watched a lot of tutorial videos and i've read a lot of articles before actually deciding to cut my hair in atalaga today. So before we start, you know what to do. Please do not forget to subscribe to my channel and let's go. I can't believe i'm doing this, i'm actually so excited, but i really hope i don't up it up all the tutorial videos. I'Ve watched said to give it an inch leeway just in case montgomery or just in case. You do something wrong. So that's what i'm gon na do, but guys most of the videos i've watched they've been cutting their hair for six months to almost a year. So i'm pretty confident that i can do it just took me a lot of weeks and prepping, but now i've decided i'm gon na cut it today. Also disclaimer, i'm not a stylist, i'm not a hairdresser, i'm not a professional, so you know cut at your own risk. But again i've watched a lot of videos and ethereum steps. Feeling will work best for me. So, let's start one of the reasons why i want to cut my hair is i haven't gotten a haircut since last year i dyed my hair, but i haven't gotten a haircut for probably six months now so now the ends are super dry and i just want To get rid of it so first things: first, if you're gon na be cutting your own hair, make sure it's styled the way you usually style it. So, for example, if you usually straighten your hair, then straighten it. If you usually make it wavy then make it wavy. I just wear my hair like this. This is my after shower blow dry. Look, i don't really do a lot with my hair and also because it's colored, so it's extra sensitive, that's why i don't normally style my hair anymore. I saw this trick online and it's very helpful. I don't want to say i have neck wrinkles, but that's going to be our basis of my hair length because at least we know it's straight. I will be using my first neck wrinkle as a guide. So here straight up here and here so i mentioned this on my intro, but i want my hair, not super short, just below the ear, but also above the shoulders, and i feel like this is a great length cutting, probably four or five inches, which i think Is good enough after that, you want to part your hair in the middle. This is usually how i style my hair, then and divide your hair into two parts left and right, and you want to tie it with an elastic band. Not just a regular hair tie guys this week. I say it really grips your hair and it doesn't move once it's there. That'S super important because we don't want the hair tie to keep moving once it's already placed where you're going to cut your hair and guys the next clip don't be shocked. If my hair is a little bit uneven, i am doing a short tech talk, video. So don't judge me and one trick: i learned if you really just want it super blunt then cut it like this without your ear showing, but if you want the front part a bit longer then tuck your hair in your ear like this. Now, when you cut your hair, the front part becomes a bit longer. It'S not like that, but it has a nice effect. So now i'll be talking my hair here and i will be cutting it. Let'S go again elastic band, not just your normal hair tie i'll adjust the length later right now, i'm just fixing this make sure you don't leave any hair at the back. That'S also going to be a problem guys. You really have to make sure that it's equal. Okay, i believe i'm doing this pretty exciting, so obviously, at the back we will be fixing it don't expect that it's going to be super straight right when you cut it, we're still going to be fixing that so again, this is just a basis for your length. Now what you want to do next is to cut it under the hair elastic, but give it a few millimeters, because this is your basis, so you want to cut it. Maybe around here this falls off then wallana hayong guide. I have my scissors. I will be cutting it here. Do i need bigger scissors and also guys we're gon na? Do this make sure you don't cut your skin? You don't cut your neck, make sure that you're extra careful make sure it's straight. It'S not straight hold on okay, it's harder than i thought i'll use this sharper one so guys. This is super important, but at least if super hindi is treated like me there. I think that's pretty straight now: good job laureen and now we do it on the other side, but i'm gon na that's a lot of hair. If i'm not scared, then you guys shouldn't be for me also so now it's time to remove the hair elastic. Oh, my god, i'm so happy. I have short hair. We have an equal parts there, but we will be fixing it, but it feels so refreshing to have short hair again guys. This is my usual length. Okay, what we're going to do next is we're going to texturize it. It'S not panda at all. So now, i'm just going to be cutting all the excess parts like this one, masuma basha so i'll be cutting it. This is a bit long in fairness to me and even parts, but so far so good, so i'll cut this also, so next up would be texturizing it. This is super blunt because obviously we just use the elastic band and we basically just cut it. So now we're going to make your hair equal, because now it's really just not, but in fairness so i'll be parting, my hair, we'll do it three times. Okay, so now just clip your hair here, so i just want to make sure that this is equal. We will be doing it all over her hair, so get a part and we will be texturizing it so you're gon na do this. It'S not so much making it short, but it's really just to not make it look super blunt, so a texturized line. So do this don't overdo it guys. So the reason why i started at the bottom is so: once you put another layer down, you can actually see if they're equal and then that's when you get to texturizing neck. I will just check the back part there. Oh, my god, i love this length on me on me. Confident, okay, i'll also just make this a bit blunt because a super blunt noise, okay, next part we're also now checking. If my uneven then like this one kanina, i already cut it, but now there is a new one here and do the same thing again, just making sure it's equal again honestly. Now, when it didn't cut right away with just one, i had a little heart attack, but oh i got ta be really doing this, but it turned out really well so again good basis, your rubber band, because i imagine, if you cut it above that position now, I'M basically just trimming all the excess hair part, but so far so good texture, texture than a lion just make sure you don't cut your fingers. You don't cut anything else for the last layer, i'll comb it on guys. This one is a bit longer bubble right, which i absolutely love last part i'll just get a texture, yeah now favorite word nothing for this video texture, okay, guys so, and then we go here i'll just remove it and be back right away. Oh my god! I love this feeling. I have short hair again. Well, no, my shorts, it's just shorter, which i love and like what i mentioned earlier. If you tuck your hair in like this before cutting it, then you can actually see that this part is a bit longer there and usually, if my hair is this short, i don't do anything else. I just put a few products, maybe like sea salt spray or something and you're good. So now i'll, just put a few sea salt spray just to see what it'll look like wet my hair. First, a little bit there for my hair, i usually like it out. I feel like it's edgier, so most of the people i know who have short hair, they like it sleek and but inside, but i want it like just semi magulo and it's usually always outward like this, so just give it a few scrunchies and you're good. Honestly, such a nice feeling to have a short hair again, this whole quarantine. I'Ve been thinking about cutting my hair every day and i'm so happy. I did it and guys if it's your first time doing. This also just make sure you give a few. At least half an inch or one inch naliwi, just in case you guys make a mistake. At least i use it or again, honestly. The reason why i did this is hair will grow out anyway, so it doesn't matter if you do it now, i'm not saying. Okay, because of course, you don't want to make a mistake when you're doing it just be extra careful, but yes, this is my first time cutting my own hair and i'm super happy and show this to my boyfriend after anyway. Q5w7: The very first rule must be : *go get a professional scissors for haircut* if you can. It'd probably be cheaper than the haircut at saloon in anyways, and you'll have it for life. So you won't struggle as she is while cutting your own hair, and you'll have nice clean and neat cut on your first attempt. Just be careful while using them, cuz they're almost as sharp as a razor.
