What'S up everyone, my name is alex kuras in today's video. I want to share with you exactly how to give yourself a perfect fade self haircut, it's 20, 21. Now and last year i've helped thousands upon. Thousands of you guys learn this exact skill set. That is going to save you a lot of time and money on haircuts. My goal this year is to raise the bar even higher than last year and really perfect the fade while still teaching more and more people. This awesome skill, so a majority of my self haircuts. I always make sure to spread out each new guideline that i make by at least one inch consistently all around my head spreading. Each new guideline by one inch is a key component to self haircuts, because you'll completely avoid making the fade, look really compressed and not give the fade a smooth transition from light to dark going up your head. So for the guidelines i've been using the no guard lever closed, no guard lever open. Then the number one guard lever open, followed by the number two guard lever open and then around a number five or number six guard lever open around my part line. Now for the fading, in order to blend in the hard lines you set going up your head with each new guideline, you need to make sure you soften up the hard line first and then knock it out with a flick out motion using a slightly smaller guard And lever length, so if you're a beginner self hair cutter, i always recommend you set aside at least two to three hours to cut your hair. I started cutting my own hair when i was 14 years old. So if you are even slightly more mature than my 14 year old self, i know for a fact you'll be able to focus better and give yourself a decent first self haircut. Ultimately, when it comes to fading your hair, you really need to take as much time as you need to do. It right, use the seven dollar walmart mirror. I constantly advise you guys use in my self haircut tutorials, instead of using a handheld mirror. My mirror setup is absolutely game. Changing and you'll seriously see the difference if you try it out for yourself, if any of you are interested in learning in much more detail how to give yourself a perfect self haircut. Just like this one and save yourself, hundreds of dollars every year on haircuts, cut the length on top with scissors and thinning shears and save your time from driving and waiting to get a haircut at the barber shop check out. My self haircut course using the first link at the top of the description. The course is honestly really cheap for what you get, and i'm always here to help you guys out. If you have any questions for me, boom all right everyone. So this is the perfect fade self haircut in five minutes. If you like this video and found the tips helpful, make sure you leave a like and share this video with a friend if you're new to my channel, make sure you click on the subscribe button down below and click on, the post notifications as well to never Miss a new video, thank you guys so much for watching and i'll catch you next time, peace. genvious: I legit saw your videos back in April when everything shut down as well as other barbering videos ... i bought my own equipment and taught myself after hours of YT lol and honestly I haven’t gone back to the barber since. Legit the best investment I’ve ever made. Time money and safer overall during this pandemic. As a healthcare worker I thank you!

Mr J: Great work man. Really helped me . This is my 2nd attempts and it looks solid. My first attempt I boched it a bit but was close. This time I nailed it .

Beatrice Szabadi: Hey Alex! Thanks to your videos I could cut my friend's hair really nice. It was the first haircut ever, I have done. I just wanted to say thank you. I'm also going to learn to cut my own hair, cause I have got inspired by you =)

Alex Smith: I have been cutting my boyfriends hair over the pandemic using your videos! Thank you so much for all of the great content. (He hasn’t gone back to the barber since ‍♀️)

Somewhere Down In Texas: Your first video was great have been cutting my own hair every since, still struggle with point of crown at farthest back section but making progress.. great vids

Joe Luna: You rock Alex. You the reason I can now cut my hair. Very decent. Thanks bro!

nonaln: Thanks for this step by step process! I was looking for a front hair cut video. It really helpful, althogh my hand can't follow the instruction not that much clearly

Adolfo Valdez: Been following since your first tutorial bro. One of the main reason why I got to barbering. And you got a lot better.

Queonda Carlou5: Do you zero gap your clippers? Thank you for your vids! Been cutting my hair since last year.

HazmatEsports: Awesome video, I'd love to see a tutorial on how to do a cropped fringe

j p: I've been doing this a long ass time and I still can't properly fade my own hair. I follow the steps from every vid that I see and the lines never disappear

NG49: I'm doing this exact cut. Looks good

elitecenafan: Alex, you should definitely upgrade your clippers to something like a Wahl Magic or Senior. The super taper doesnt do that good of a job when it comes to blending.

CRIPTOCOCO: Thank you Alex, today I gonna get myself hair cut. By the way, you did yours very nice..see ya !

mlsterlous: Do you know that there are clippers that dont have lever, so its always closed? Like my Braun HC5050. But the thing is, it worked really good, already after 1st time cutting my hair. I just followed another tutorial, where you start with the longest guard you want, like for example N4, and then gradually go down changing it to N3,N2,N1. Its all about right hand movements to get it look smooth :) This tutorial probably shows more professional and precise way, but the way i did it also ended up more than ok. Also my haircut is a bit different, no that short as yours.

steven: This one was short bro keep making content my dude!! We love it

The Blue Thunder Bunny: Alex, what brand of clippers could you recommend for someone who wants to try this?

Joe Luna: What trimmers do you all recommend for accurate fading? My Walhs are ok but something missing to kinda perfect my fade. Also does not help I have peppered hair on the sides.

Rebekah Carrillo: Thank you!

Mr. Vj: It's really perfect bro

C James: Bro you're awesome I think you're Greek too I'm going to give it a shot today and 34 hopefully I can do it the right way you made it look so easy but I don't know man wish me luck

Marques Coma: 5 minutes ...and 55 minutes self haircut is not easy and I know something about it.

Nicolas Sean: i tried cutting a fade, it did NOT work out. great tutorial!

Nomo 4u: Keep up the dope content homie

KeraSoula KeraSoula: Χεχεχε..και κάπως έτσι προσπάθησα να κουρέψω τον γιό μου χθές... νομίζω τα κατάφερα!! Ευχαριστούμε για τις συμβουλές σου..

Khalong Aier: 10 out of 10 star self haircut

Jay__exotics: What mirrors do you use? im debating on buying the self-cut system

Olga Iordanopoulou: Hey! Could you please tell which hair product did you use at the end of the video in order to buy the same for my boyfriend. Thank you

Athos: Question, I got two yellow colored guards that are labeled A and B and they are 1.5 mm and 4.5 mm. Are these the halves of the standard 1 and 2 guards?

Lukas Abgehoben: Ist is not difficult to cut your own Hair on Top? Is it only training, just if u do it again and again, u can it better?

Dommer: Save your self $100s but lose 1000’s of hours! I think I’ll give myself a buzz cut and save $100’s and 10000’s of hours! ‍♂️

Ninja Shogun: It's almost perfect

OmarTrombon: I wear glasses so its a bit hard for me to see lol eye sight is kinda bad so what i did is did a 1 all around and left the top hair alone to do a comb over lol came out ok lol

Andres Collado: Hey brotha I see you are truelly a caring person. T y bro! I have a family of 4 me and my 3 lil brothers. Im trying to take care of us best I can. But its been tough brother. Our grampa passed away. And were all lossed bro. Please help me perfect this method! I cant blend the the .5 into the 1 cuz of our contrast of the hair. Please help me brotha. Cuz we need truelly need this. I spent most of our money on the clippers and set up which i coulf barely afford myself. On top of taking care of all of us. Im only 23 yrs old! I pray everyday god would help us.. Hope you stat blessed and keep going my brotha ❤⛪❤

Logan Simios: Amazing job

buzz mcbuzzed: Can you do video on how to do a self textured crop?

SUMIT MITRA: U r perfect

Mr. X: Fresh brother! Thanks

Ambidextrouslysmart: How do u get the back too part, you always already have that part short

Luey Ulloa: It’s not prefect.. it’s choppy bro!! But good for a home cut!!

Andrew Cox: Hi Alex. I'm Andrew. I still don't know how to fade I use Phillips trimmers longer on top. And short on sides

Josue: What do you mean by lever open and lever closed, does open mean you lift the lever up, or does open mean you keep it down

Vendetta Nights: awesome video man the videos are getting better and greater

Hghg Apple: Clean work

Martin Gal: Hey Alex! Can u send me the hair clipper what u use?

brandon abeita: Could I still use the #1 guard or no guard if I dont have a 0.5gaurd

AKSHAY SANTHOSH: Hii bro I have only 2mm 3mm 4mm 5mm hair gaurds can I cut my hair with it?????

FRAN Oliveira: Parabéns

singhstar84: Make a vid on fade not skin fade and tapers if possible bro then skim fades would be easy for people starting out

Jose Dominguez: Like the videos keep it up i wanna learn to cut my hair and, also cut hair can you make a video on beginners cutting hair?

Mohammed Siddique: Why don’t u buy new clippers? Cordless preferably. Trust me, I first started cutting my hair by watching you with a corded clipper, then I got a cordless one and makes life so much easier. And I got it from Amazon for like £30

Alex Gertz: Like a fking boss!!!

Ibrahim a: bro what hair products do you use?

king of games: BEST FRESH FADE

Kamron Allred: I dont have the 1.5 guard would it mess up everything if I skipped?

Cesar Marez: Are ur clippers zero gapped?

Ty Roark: What lights do you use?

Me And: Nice one thanks

Matthew Jarrod: Look people, his technique is good for him but very few can pull this off. Easy way using two lengths for beginner. Cut top using guard 12-16mm. Next put 9mm guard on for the sides. Have the guard perfectly level starting at the bottom and go straight up, never change the angle of the clippers, keep them parallel to the side, when you get to where the skull curves DO NOT change the angle. You see, as you go up your skull curves, by keeping the clippers the same throughout this upward cut, the top will automatically be faded due to skull curve. Do this all the way around your head. The fade will look good and perfect because you are using your skull's natural curve. The hardest part last, and this will take practice, is lining up around ears and back line. NOTE: Above guard lengths can be adjusted to how ever long you want. Tool used, Phillips Norelco 7000 multi grooming

Jason Wei: Good skill...

xnihilistex xvx: Bruhh, go see a hairdresser, it's far from a perfect fade.

Keith s:
