Here is a K-Pop Two Block Haircut tutorial. I used a #4 guard on the sides and created a disconnected shape. The top is about 5 inches long. I used 25 to style.

Hey YouTube: welcome to Total Request wednesdays. Thank you so much for the support and today I'm doing a very popular request that I've gotten for quite some time. It'S the to block haircuts, but also with a kpop twist. So I'm kind of combining the two of them and it's going to be really really awesome. So I'm ready to go. Let'S get started, alright, guys, here's the finished result and I think it came out awesome and I had a lot of fun doing this and I apologize for not doing it sooner, but here's what I did so. Basically, I had sectioned this all the way off and created a disconnected section right in through this area and on the other side, and I used a number four guard. My Clippers are in the description below of where you can get them the ones I've been using, and I went up to this line right in through here. Then I used a one and just kind of really lightly tapered it one two three right through here. David is a really light kind of taper. I then I extended the section in through the back here. Creating kind of a triangle shape right into the middle back into here and then do the same thing on the other side. So this is all disconnected under here and then what I did is I brought everything down to about right here and I use the razor to get rid of all the length just to create a more jagged kind of wispy or edge into here. Then I layer, the top, the top is probably about I'd, say four inches long or so very very again. I use the razor and then went in and did some slide cutting to really remove some of that weight. To give it a more textured look and I use 25 and it was wet, and then I used my blow dryer and blow dried it. And here we have the finished result, and I think you came out really really awesome and I I think it's a very versatile style. You can do a lot with it and I hope you guys enjoyed it. 정은해: I'm a hairstylist. They never touched base on any haircuts like these in school. I don't even get this kind of hair cut requested in my salon. I wish it could become more trendy because it's a hit haircut in Asian culture. It's just not modern in Western culture and people still see it as a "bowl cut." Thank you for the video! Eric Lee Piano: it's basically an undercut worn differently. the reasons koreans go with this haircut is because asian hair is thick so the sides grow straight out quickly, the way the hair on the top falls down the side creates the illusion of the sides. i think most korean barbers blend the top into the back though, instead of a disconnect.
Cian Dale S. Quezon: The best way i found to let barbers know how to do this haircut is to explain it this way. For the sides: "Its basically like an undercut, *show them **2:47** and say how short you want it, I usually go for 1.5* and i want the back to have a v-shape like this *show them **3:12* The real reason why this is different is because i want the undercut line to be a little bit lower because asian hair tends to get poofy at the side" For the Top: "I want the hair on the crown of my head to grow as much as i can to cover the sides of my hair because asian hair tends to stick outwards. It makes it look like that its going down. The only thing that I want to trimm are the ends of my hair that are drooping on my head to look like this video *show them side view of this video and front*" I find this is the best way to explain this to barbers which would not take a really long time Hope i helped and may you get your perfect haircut

I'm desperately trying to make my two block works, but I have very thin, straight hair, and not dense at all. For exemple this time, my hairdresser cut my sides very short (like 1mm left); so my side has a strong whitish color, but then my longger side hair, does not cover much of the area, and the contrast of color makes it look weird. How can I make this haircut work with my type of hair ? Do I really have to heat it to create curve ? Should I tell him next time to leave my sides a bit longer ? Thank you !

Vizual: no disconnect in the back. you blend it while keeping the crown and apex longer. Asians have a flat back so they keep the weight on the top and crown to create a round head. -japanese stylist in nippon.
