So my hair started to grow out again how many fun you've cut. I always tell you guys that my usual schedule is: I go to the barber shop every two or three week, but that gets pricey and also requires a lot of time. So if time or money is an issue - and you can't go that often here are a couple things you can do to make each individual haircut last you longer so the first thing you can do is get a haircut that is conducive to growth. So what does this mean, for example, hair cooks like mine that have a skin fade or skin taper or even under cuts that completely shave off the sides, aren't really conducive to growth. You need to go every two to three weeks to keep that haircut. Looking fresh, on the other hand, if you have fuller haircuts that are more classic, you can grow out your hair for four weeks plus and the extra length on the sides and, on top, won't be that much more noticeable. So a general rule of thumb is that the shorter, your hair is the more often you're going to need to get it cut. To keep its shape. Number two is to learn how to manage it at home and this by no means to do a full haircut on yourself, but just manage it. So it doesn't look too messy. So there's, usually a couple areas that are tall. Tell signs that you're in need for a haircut, for example, your sideburns are getting long. Your neckline is developing a neck scarf or you're starting to grow hair here around your ear area, usually when hair is getting out of control in these areas, and these are your a need for a cut, but you can easily manage it yourself with some regular clippers. I'M going to have the Clippers that I use, link down below I'm gon na have a couple links down below, so you guys can check them out, but you can get them on Amazon for, like twenty thirty bucks from Panasonic, bran or Remington, and any of these Will do the job it's a pretty easy task, and really the only area where it's going to be hard is your neckline. So unless you can get a friend or an extra pair of hands, you might want to use a second mirror. Number three goes along with tip number: one is to adopt a hairstyle that is also conducive to growth, so hair styles, like messy slicked backs or the brush up, are great for that grow out period, because any extra half an inch or inch really isn't going to Change, much of the style, whereas if you have something more put together like a swept crew cut or a side, part that extra length, that extra volume will definitely change your hairstyle. So if you're going to adopt a hairstyle that can manage the extra length, you'll be good for four weeks plus without having to go to the barbershop number to not shampoo so often now. I know this is a little bit hard for a lot of us, especially if you go to the gym all the time. But what happens when you shampoo? Is that you're stripping the natural oils of your hair, which means that your hair is going to get frizzy err more easily? Your goal, when you're trying not to go to the barber shop, is to give the illusion that your hair is not any longer or crazier than what it should be. You want to keep it nice and tight when you strip your hair from the oils. You'Ll get more frizz and more volume which is going to make your hair look Messier. So I suggest you shampoo only two to three times a week and every day that you don't shampoo, just wash your hair out with water to remove any dirt or sweat. And finally, number five is to use the right styling product. This goes along with tip number four again you're going for the illusion of nicely kept hair, nothing, that's wild or crazy or like you're screaming, for a cut, and when you use certain products like gels, pomade or waxes. These products usually have a lighter fold which will require you to use more products, as your hair is growing out and will also make your hair a little greasy and dirty. This is not what you want and set up for dry and matte product, so products like clays and pastes are the best way to go, and so these usually have stronger holds and will leave you that matte finish, which is exactly what you want. Alright boys, that's it for today's video. Hopefully that helps you save a little bit of money and time from going to the barber shop and helps you look clean. On the other hand, if you want a sharp cut with tight sides, there really isn't much. You can do other than going every two to three weeks to keep it nice and fresh. So that's it for this week's video. I hope you enjoyed it. If you did don't forget to drop us a like down below see you next time.

SHIT FACE: Who else feels fresh and more good looking after a fresh cut?

Stevottty: Two other amazing hair clays are Hanz de Fuko's Claymation and Baxter of California's Clay Pomade - They both have really strong hold, with a matte finish :)

JK 2000: I’m addicted to skin fades

Roshan K.: I've tried to find a video like this for a while cause my parents only take me to get a get a haircut once every month, thanks for making this jose.

Watch Me DIY It: one haircut tip I learned a while back is that if you cut your hair really short (like a 0 or 1) for an event, then do it two or three days before the event so your scalp is not white and obvious that you just got a haircut. Good video, man!

Burak Aktas: Thanks for the tips my hair grows unreal fast so these tips are great

Style Your Life: that's one clear and helpfull video! keep up the great work

Mario Pacheco: Could you make a video talking about the different types of hair products to style your hair? I mean, what is the actual difference between a paste, wax, putty or gel. Talking about the advantages and maybe styling your hair with each during the video to really see how to use them properly

Jim Ass: I've slowly stopped using shampoo and conditioner, I use is every 1-2 weeks. But my hair isn't greasy, it looks much healthier and natural. I shower every day and have good hygiene and don't have bad BO. #almostnopoo

FITNESSFORTEENS: So early. BTW here are the timestamps. (although it's only 3 minutes lol) 1. Get a haircut that is conducive to grow 0:20 2. Learn how to manage it at home 0:52 3. Adopt the hairstyle that is conducive to grow 1:43 4. Don't shampoo too often 2:13 5. Use the right styling products 2:49 Give me some likes or just do whatever you want. I love y'all.

Bryant Chen: Hey jose, every time I wash my hair with shampoo my hair goes all frizzy. Is there a way to control that and make it cleaner?

TT: If you're a black male, wear a durag! Compresses your hair down & makes it look like you've had a haircut

Daniel Bazak: love the new camera and lighting. makes it look a lot more professional!

Joseph Saaid: Lighting and colors look good in this video, great job Jose!

ChillDwill: I cut my high top off after years, it was extremely nappy and I never knew I looked this good with waves and a low temp fade made me look And since I have waves I wash my hair 3 to 2 times a week and if you saw the shine on them

21Onate: Just a thing that I do, when I don't wash my hair with shampoo I'll still condition it. My hair is pretty thick so if I don't condition it And just wash it out with water it feels really heavy and hard.

Carlos Sanchez: I suggest using dry shampoo when showering. Cleans your hair of all the dirt and doesn't strip your hair of it's natural oils. You should check it out, Jose!

Shoaib Siddiq: I need some advice @TMF For my hair I used wax and just need you to find out if the product I'm using is healthy for my hair. The hairstyle I use is a side part but the top half is puffed up. I could send some pics to you and you could let me know if the product is ok to use.

03Koda Hills: Soooo I have curly hair, reaches right under my eye and my sides are short. It looks pretty fire trust me. I don’t wanna cut it often so I’m trynna find a way on how you can make it last longer

its me: Well I've been doing it all wrong. Thanks for the help now I understand what to do

Evan Martinez: What type of gels do you guys recommend you can find at a store like walmart or something that can make my hair not grow as fast?

Life Coach Jesse: Yes. Currently letting out my hair. Haven't cut since November 1st.

Demiurge6: Over shampooing could also cause your hair to become more oily because with the lack of natural oils that is being stripped out of the hair your body will try to compensate by producing more oil thus making your hair become too oily.

ABC: I need a haircut already after 3 days

Mridron Pratim Das: Thank you so much for making this video.

Muhammad Harith: Your video really help me Jose..thank you!!!

Foe Nem: I getta taper fade and number 4 every week my shit fresh

Durgesh Nagpure: much needed video.. thanks a lot..!!!

Casyn29: Another great video again thanks man !

Akbar Naqvi: Just cut the hairs behind your ears with scissors and clip off any excess hair on the back of your neck. Works for me

Yami: What good brand of shampoo/conditioner could you guys recommand me ? Cause I'm a bit lost with all those products Great video btw

GBP_live: Excellent video as always

Lilo Pasha: thanks, this is very helpful

Balázs Szalontai: I have really long hair (40-60 cm), so that's how I achive not having to go to the barber every 2-3 weeks! :D

Kerry CaBerga: “I go every 2-3 weeks and that gets pricey” I have to go every other week imagine how i feel

Green_Touko123: Help! I have extra lenght on the sides and I have black hair like those cool looking guys in your example pics, but I feel that my front hair might look good if I use wax, but it just looks unstylish and flat from the back and sides, and it looks that I don't care about my hair. What to do to it? How the heck their hair looks good everywhere

Kado Slemany: Insane tips ❤️❤ look like always

Nate Insane: Since it is still winter, I've been growing out my neck scarf

Philip _: Great timing, was planning to get a haircut tomorrow! (Haven't watched the vid yet though)

Dan Corwin: Thanks for the tips!!

Alejandro Ramirez: what product do you use for your hair? so it doesn't look shinny

Just Jackson: Dude this video is what i needed ur getting a thumbs up

J L: 2:13 and 2:48 are the actual useful tips most people are looking for, your welcome

Nabranes TwistyPuzzler: If it’s completely shaved & not just a fade for an undercut, you can clip or tie up the top and just shave the sides.

Eddie Jump: "Neck line is developing a neck scarf"

Phoenix: Dude...you're a life saver

Matt Benzell: Might plan to consider that idea , thanks bro!!

Khalid Abdulqawi: Can you list all your supplies that you put in your hair@teachingmenfasion

DyliosG: I've been using product that makes my hair look that greasy look! You mentioned something about clay? More dry and hold product? WHERE DO I FOUND THOSE?!?

aka47818ericserrano: You can shampoo every day if you use a daily shampoo . I strong suggest u to shampoo everyday if u naturally have a sweaty or oily scalp produced by the sebaceous and sutoriforous gland and or exercise in the day . Make sure to use a conditioner after the shampoo which will help nourish you hair again by putting proteins and vitamins back on .

Bernardo Guerra: This is what I like: no commercial in the video, only ads in the beginning or end. Tho she commercials get so annoying - The Fifth, Anson belts, etc. I know they help keep the channel up,but I can't help it but to feel like the you tuber has to speak more about that brand than any other brand out there he might like even more than the sponsor. Love the sponsor free in this video, Jose. Keep up your amazing work. Regards from Brazil :)

Alam: Any recommendations for the best hair clippers?

Alex Cerda: What if you buy a clipper and just do touch ups every week by yourself? Will I ruin it?

Pen Wednesday: I usually get a 6 dollar haircut and then go to a cheaper barbershop to get it redone in cycles (1-3 dollars) or just grow it out. I hate coffee so I can have more money spent on my hair.

Xraitu min: great video thank's a lot man

Nicholas Nolan: 2-3 weeks? Most guys I know (including me) do 2-3 months. And I do get short hair.

One Punch Man: Actually skin fades look cleaner grown out than hard hairlines

Hex Zain: Bro make a video about graduation and prom outfits Better background btw

Octavio Carachure: Put a video about the do's and don'ts of applying cocounut oil plzzzz!!!

Vince Ragober: And to conclude, the best tip is... APPLY TIEGE HANLEY TO EVERY FOLLICLE OF YOUR HAIR

Future House Drops: Hey bro! Please make a video about spring essentials :)

Earl MacCarlson: 2-3 times a week is way to much. Do it as MAX 2 times.

PiTMaX _021: You said shampoo your hair 2x a week. what if youre always using clay or wax to your hair? is water is enough to clean hair?

Kyle Meadows: Love the video ✔️

Champagneraki: I got a mid skin fade 5 days ago and now the sides have grown to a number 2/3 is that too fast?

DarkBlack22: I'm Sry but the last point is very inaccurate. Most clays are lighter hold products when compared to pomades. Pomades are too vast of a category to be categorised into a "hold" category. They have hold ranging from super light to super heavy.

Mogammad Noor Pastor: who else feels fresh only the next day after the cut

PRATIK THACKER: please make a video on what to wear for college or school farewell or on such ocassions...

Tom p: jose... I'm a sneaker head... I think you should buy a pair of Jordan to further expand your style. I can recommend an original colourway of a Jordan 1. sleek and clean. maybe even the yin and yang pack if you do not want to spend all that cash. I also think a great everyday sneaker could be a bred 1.

Ernie Vazquez: Do a modern closet tour please

jonah4u: good presentation. I use Clay too

Victor Ibarbo: Wich paste/clay do you use?

Ben: Do i wash my hair before or after a haircut

Erni Wolfi: Tip #1 just dont wash your hair thats all i learnt from this video

AXEL Gaming: Need a fitness video now it's been a while!

Miguel Rodriguez: grow long hair so you lean away from the clippers

Haha Yes: So, what if I only use baby oil in my hair, I don't want anything to hold my hair in place, I just want it to look fuller

Alexander: :/ I get a haircut every week... my hair grows crazy fast

Ahmad Tawhid Afzaly: My hair grow so fast I have to go to barber every two weeks

Martin Rodriguez: Once you get that hair cut there’s 2 bad things about it 1 your head is cold number two YOU GET THAT FRESHY SMACKED IN YOUR HEAD

Courtlee Rodrigues: Hey man, can you make a video for Afro people too?

koffz-nl: ive always been told that the shorter your hair is the LESS frequently you would have to go to the barber because your hair would then take more time to be 'overgrown'

josuecuevas98: How am I not going to shampoo my hair everyday with all the sweat from the gym and just everyday activity I have to shampoo my hair

JCrossover: yo Jose what you think about helping seniors with prom outfits? it's coming soon

Micheal: could you guys help us short men out--people who are 5'8 and under? I'd like to wear fitted outfits like yours through your videos but it's hard to find clothes being short!

Hector Amaya: você sabe muito eu gosto de vocês vídeos

Lachlan Lamb: Thanks Jose

Jack Clark: In this video he looks like my Spanish teacher he looks a lot different now

Balta Bueno: I think it's cool that you respond to almost every comment :)

Noah Wardak: Bro you always fresh you only need a cut every month

Julian Costa: You take Sir Bradley Wiggins as an example? Haha nice :-D Nice video man!

Alex Roth: Tells us to use clays and paste with shine in his hair

Sufiyan Khan: Brother i have wavey hairs how should i manage them or change it into normal

itz Musawer: I got a new haircut today

Killamovz: I've notice that a bold taper last longer than a low fade just cause they don't cut all around the head just the sides and when it's growing it just blends in real nice

Luis A. Bocanegra-Bauza: Rather go to the barber shop every other week than not wash my hair every day... That's just me though, I can't have my hair smelling like wet dog for even one day!!!

Xander S.: Does a hairline like this ———> } make it easier for me to keep my hair cut?

Keola Correa: Teachingmenfashion I just got a new haircut yesterday and I go back to school July 8 and I want it to stay short. What should I Do? Please answer

Stephfon Bacon: Good saving tips

ricky roach: Every 6 months my guy. Wear a hat during the awkward phase. Then slick it back shen it’s long
