This Clairol hair dye video is about tips on how to remove hair color stains at home with James Corbett.

Hi., It's James, your Clairol color director.. Today, I'm going to share a couple of tips for addressing a very common hair, coloring issue when the color gets, where you don't want it. Most times it's a pretty simple fix., I'm going to give you one way to avoid this issue in the future.. So, let's get started. First off. If you've stained your skin in the process of coloring, don't worry., You should be able to remove it easily with a baby wipe., But try to do it as soon as you're done coloring. For most areas of the skin. This should take it right, off. Next issue., What to do if some hair color has found its way onto your clothing. Start by just washing as normal or spot cleaning with a laundry detergent.. If it's being stubborn, try color-safe stain remover., I use it all the time.. Finally, here's a trick for next time. Before you color, try applying petroleum jelly., Apply it around your hairline and the tops of your ears, but be careful not to get it on the hair itself.. This will keep the hair color from reaching your skin and you can wipe it off easily when you're done. Anytime, you have a hair, color problem or question. We want to help. Just call our hotline 1-800-CLAIROL., Our color experts are standing by and they're ready to help. You because everyone's hair is different and so are you.
