Hello, everyone and welcome back to my channel. It is your girl, cassandra olivia. If you are new welcome and if you are not new, make sure you hit that subscribe button and you all like my intro, because it is serving what it needs to serve shout out to cammy, j official, my homegirl and youtube friend and client. You are super amazing. Thank you so much for recommendation. So here i am going to be doing a color touch up on my client, jordan. She was here about three to four months ago, so it's been a while and we're just doing the same exact color, we're gon na refresh her and just um hit her roots. So i decided to record this for anybody that wants to know how i do my color touch. Ups, so first things first, you guys already know i like to protect my floor and my chairs and everything so i have a chair cover. I also make sure to put on my smock, because recently what i've been doing, color i've been getting it on myself and nine times out of ten. When i do color, i can actually color without getting any color on anything like it's only on here. I don't know why, but recently i've been coloring like i'm in beauty school all over again, like it's been horrible, so i have the cape on for that reason, because i did not want to mess up this shirt so whenever clients come in and they get color, I just try to make sure that they wear clothing same thing with me, but for whatever reason i decided to get cute and i was like oh shoot. Let me spare my shirt, so that's completely all topic. I think i probably don't give a, but i just want to let y'all know. This is the reason why i have my cape on today that i literally never freaking, wear so jordan's hair. She had in a hair, tie she's all natural, as you guys already know, so, i'm just going in and mixing the same exact color formula that i mixed previously, because we are doing her roots, i'm going to mix 7.4c, which is her previous color, as well as A 20 volume and i'm going to leave it on her scalp for about maybe 25 to 30 minutes and let the heat from her hair just process the hair color and i'm just going to sit and watch it. So i'm going to outline each individual section right here, i'm just showing you guys the color that i'm using it is by rusk. I get it from cosmoprof. You do have to be licensed to purchase it, but i will try to link it down below, because i think that it's on amazon, but i'm not 100 sure so um again you can get that cosmoprof. So i'm just going to mix this. If you want to see how i mix this exactly, please refer to the previous video, where i was coloring her hair and for some reason, i'm going to throw this disclaimer. My lighting was being really weird, so you see it's getting really bright and then dull, so it in some of these frames, the hair color look kind of off, but i promise your hair color is bomb.com. My lighting was just being really weird, so this is the 20 volume um. You just want to make sure that you mix one part of lightner wait. What is that now? One part of the color to two parts of the developer, so i have um. Let'S say if i do like a squirt of the color, then you just double squirt with the developer. So if you want to see exactly how i mixed it again, my previous video, when i did her whole entire hair color, i literally did all the um. Why am i like struggling to think today, but anyway, i literally put all the measurements showed exactly how i did it if you want to know like the cookie cutter way, but again, i've been coloring here for such a long time that i like to just like Eyeball it i'm pretty good at like eyeballing, my hair color. I know that's probably horrible, but that's just what i do it's just like when you cook. Sometimes you have people that measuring you have some people that just know the recipe you know they got the sauce and i got the sauce. You feel me, so i'm just going to outline this first section, her back right section and i'm going to just go ahead and apply that mixture that i just made and once i'm done outlining, i am going to put her hair out and go in between the Hair and make sure that i'm thoroughly saturating um and doing a a very detailed job. Just because you want to make sure that one, you don't overlap the older color, because then it'll lift it too light unless you'll have banding. But also you want to make sure that you saturate it enough because she does have thick natural hair, so you're going to see me apply this initially first to each section and then i also will go through and double check every section with the remaining product. I will go and just reapply just to make sure everything is thoroughly saturated. So you want to make sure that you take your time when you're doing this and you just want to make sure that you are doing a thorough job. You never want to rush when you're doing color so make sure that you just allow yourself ample amount of time to do this. I actually had jordan come in this day. I think at like six o'clock p.m, which i literally never do clients this late, and i don't know why i decided to do color, so i didn't get done until like 10 o'clock, but we did her color. I will refresh her ends off camera, just because i already showed in the first video i did this and my camera died and i forgot to um check it because i was just in the zone. So i'm doing this mixture on her root, but then towards the ends. I'M just going to apply the same exact 7.4c with the 10 volume and i'm also going to add olaplex into that mixture as well, so make sure that you were always adding olaplex into your mixtures. Okay, guys, i believe i put olaplex in this mixture. I kept cutting a couple parts of the seams, but i always add olaplex in every hair color service, every chemical service relaxer is included just to make sure that the hair is nice and healthy. So i've talked for a good five minutes straight, so i just want you guys to know thoroughly what i'm doing. As always. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop them down below and i'll hop back on in just a few minutes. When i get to the next section boy: yes guys, yeah boy, yes, yes, boy! Yes, boy! Guess we're! So! Yes, boy boy! Yes boy, guys guys! What'S up boys, yes, boy! Okay! So now that i thoroughly saturated everything again, i'm just gon na go apply. Another mixture of that 7.4 c, with a 10 volume mix it with a little bit of olaplex just to refresh our ends because it was looking a little dull and we just want to bring life back into this hair color. So i'm going to do my usual blow dry. I'M not going to make this video super long. I actually have a blow drying tutorial up on my channel, that's newly updated, so i will also link that down below, as well as um her her link for her previous video when we first did this color, so i'm just going to blow her out and then I'M going to press her using my custom irons, which you can purchase off my website. There is only about 15 left and then, after that, i'm not going to restock for a couple months so get in where you fit in, don't miss out, because these flatirons are the truth. Okay, i also just added these couple shots in this video just to um. Let you guys see how the color looks in the different lighting is what i was talking about. It looks really funky here, but when she's all pressed out - and i like get super close - i will zoom in so you guys can see but um. This is how it looks, and you just want to make sure when you're done your color, that you always use some color removing wipes to get around the perimeter of their hair. So what i'm putting her hair now is the influence s3 spray. I use this literally on every single client every single time for every single soap price, like i'm a creature of habit, so i'm just going to go in now and start to press her hair out one thing about um, jordana's hair. I love the fact that she has natural highlights in her hair. So, of course, when you color her hair because she has natural highlights the natural highlights pop through, which is why she has some lighter accent pieces in the front, and i think they are just so freaking bomb like her hair. Color is just so freaking pretty to me, so i'm just pressing her out and then i'm going to show you guys the end result. I am going to put her in the mirror. So that way i can get her part straight because, as you guys know, i'm horrible at parting - and i just want to make sure everything is nice and crisp. So after that i will um put some edge control on her. I'M going to add in like a little bit of behind the scenes, get her reaction. I love the fact that, every time my clients come whether they've been to me once or 100 times, they always are like smiling and happy, and just so excited, and it just makes me feel, like an amazing stylist. An amazing person like jordan, was really feeling herself like period, so this is the end result. I am going to go in and bump her ends, not like the old school 90s bump, where it's like hard as hell, but i'm just going to do like a soft bump, i'm going to apply her edge control and then once i'm done, i'm just going to Comb through the bumped ends to get that smooth like that smooth finish to her hair. So that way it has a nice flow to it and it's not too um dora, the explorer-ish. I guess we can say so right here, just the first initial bump, again, i'm going to go in with my even new york edge control. I will link that down below as well just to slick her hair down a little bit, because i, like a nice polished, look and then i'm going to comb out the ends of her hair just so she can have a nice flow to it. So, thank you guys for listening to me, talk and um. I really appreciate every single last one of you guys shout out to my 162k subscribers. You guys are freaking amazing and i will see you guys in the next video drop. Some love in the comments i'm trying to respond to everybody recently and i was trying to post every day but y'all know i just was horrible at that, but i'm gon na try to post more consistently. I will say that, but thank you guys so much for watching. I appreciate every single last one of you guys. I hope everybody has a wonderful and productive day, and i will see you in my next video just look at how her hair is moving, though, like look at that movement, just look like you could tell she's feeling like she that be and now eva's coming down. She'S gon na go outside so i definitely have to go. Thank you guys. So much for watching i'll, see you guys in my next video peace. Is it safe to use permanent hair color all over my head/hair whenEver I retouch and freshen my color? If yes, how many times a year is safe? 2 times? 4 times? Or should I just apply to permanent color on the regrowth and apply something gentler liker like demi/semi color on the mids and ends? I hear permanent hair color is damaging. Thank you very much
