Hey guys welcome back to my channel if you're new welcome, my name is tamara renee, thanks for stopping by so in today's video i'll, be giving you guys or showing you guys my updated low, sleek bun routine. I do have a video up on my channel already, but i wanted to give you guys an updated one, because a few things have changed. Well, yeah, a few things have changed and also this was highly requested because i had a few of you ask me um. How do i, you know, achieve my low bun, what products i use and such and such, but i also want to mention just in case, if you didn't know my hair is relaxed, so that's also like an advantage that helps me to achieve my low buns. I don't have to straighten my hair or flat iron it all i do is wash my hair, let it air dry and once it's completely dried, i just slap gel on it and i style and i'm good to go. I also apply got to be free spray. On my hair to help tame the little flyaways and keep it in place throughout the day, and that's really it to be honest, you guys i don't do much to my hair, but if you have any questions, do drop them in the comment section below and i'll Be sure to answer, i will have everything listed in the description box below like the products i use on my hair and that's really it y'all wanna. I just love me a nice low bun. I love my buns okay, but there's something about the low bun, but then, when i do the high bun, i say the same thing: it's just something about buns like it's so sleek, it's so classy, it's just so nice, and this is what i love love doing. I also want to mention that this video will be a voice over during the styling part. I did want to speak while i was doing my hair, but i couldn't because there was a lot of noise going on outside and there was a lot of activities. I don't know what's going on so i'm just like i have to do a voiceover. I didn't really want to do a voiceover, but it is a voice over. So you know, turn up your volume and be sure to listen again. Everything will be in the description box below so, if you're interested in seeing how i achieve my sleek low bun then keep on watching. So i like to start off by doing a curved side part. The parting is really up to you and then i spray some water, because that helps to get my hair moving, especially after it's freshly washed just to get it a little wet. Now, i'm going to apply some eco styler gel with olive oil. This is the one and only gel that i use on my hair for buns. I actually used to use the eco styler gel in the clear tub with orange writing on it. But i stopped because i noticed slight breakage in my hair and i think it's because it had some alcohol in it i'm not too sure, but that was the only drying product i was using. So i had to switch it up and look for something oil based and decided to use this particular gel, because it gives me the hold and firmness that i want once i apply the gel i go in with a comb and this small brush to brush through My hair to form the big sleek swoop on the right side of my hair, and this part does take me some time to do, because i want to make sure i remove the little tangles and kinks throughout the swoop. Now i'm going to use my edge brush and apply more gel on my edges and around the area of the parting and then i'm going to start swooping the left side. I like to do three major swoops and get my sideburn in place as well. Here you can see how i'm forming my swoops. This part also takes me some time, because i want my edges to be as perfect as possible, like i want it laid and in place. So i used the brush side to form the swoop, and then i used the comb side to separate the swoop you get me, i mean you can see how i'm doing it and i'll continue to go over it until i'm satisfied with the look of each swoop. It'S that serious to me, but um. This hairstyle usually takes me about 15 minutes or so to do foreign. When i'm done with that, i like to mold my hair into the ponytail and apply some gel on my nape. You cannot forget your nape. There is no way you can walk around with sleek edges and neglect your nape. It'S not a good luck, so make sure you get your nape sis to hold my hair in the pony. I prefer to use a large hair tie and double it up, because it has a better hold than the smaller hair ties, and these smaller hair ties tend to loosen and break easily, and also you want to make sure the hair tie you use. It doesn't have that silver clasp thing on it, because that will break your hair if it gets caught, and we don't want that. Okay, then i'll go back and do last minute touch-ups on my edges, because when i pull my hair in the pony, it kind of loses its shape. Okay, so now it's time to form this bun, i comb through my pony to get rid of any tangles and prepare to wrap. I begin to open the pony if that makes any sense like with my fingers, and i just start wrapping with a slight twist. You can see what i'm doing um then i will use a smaller hair tie to hold my bun once it's fully wrapped, and that's honestly it once i'm done with that. I go in with some got to be freeze, spray and spray that all over my hair, this product really does help with keeping my hair in place throughout the day like i don't have to worry about anything touching it or messing it up, and then i put On my head tie to help seal and lock the products in my hair and i'll keep that on until i'm done with doing my makeup, when i'm done, i take it off and it's completely sealed. Sometimes i'll apply some serum, my garnier fructis, to be exact. On my hair, just to give it some shine and also to get rid of any white residue, and that's it you guys, i'm done i'm done with my bun y'all hear that got to be free spray. My hair is solid as a rock, oh, my gosh. So this is the final. Look you guys um. So, as you saw, i took my head scarf off. You know it's been like what two hours since i um laid it, because i had to do my makeup and stuff, but um yeah. This is how it's looking. It'S so sleek and nice. I love my hair in like low buns. I usually get asked all the time like what um products i use. How do i get my hair laid? I apply some gel and i recent not recently, but i incorporated using um, got to be freeze spray in my bun routine and that helps to tame all the fly ways and keep it firm and just allow my bun. My hair to you know last all day and stay in place, but because i added the freeze spray, you can you know let this style last for a couple of days. It'S really up to you. It depends on you know what you want and i usually get asked if you have to wash your hair. If you want to do another style, and i mean it does make sense to wash your hair, i mean you apply gel, you apply the freeze spray. So that's a lot of like hard product on your hair. I mean you, can you know, go ahead and try to do another style if you please, but just be aware that there will be like some white flakes because of the freeze spray. But again, if you want to do another style after doing this, i suggest you wash your hair. As always, i will have everything listed in the description box below so do check that out.
