Hey everyone welcome back to my channel two days. The two days video is going to be a quick little hair tutorial on this cute messy bun right here. I love messy buns, I think they're, so cute and chic and kind of edgy. Looking umm, I feel like, I see them in a lot of pictures and tumblr or on Instagram, and they just look. I don't know like so effortless and just cool. I I don't know, that's so dorky kind of just oh. I just threw it up in a bun no big deal and it looks perfect. I can never get that, even if I try it, I mean this is as close as it's gon na get um at least for having thin hair, thin and flat and short hair. I just I loved it. I loved that hair and they're so easy, so I kind of had to master this technique just because my hair is so fine and thin. So if you have fine and thin hair, I have some tips and tricks for you today. In this tutorial anyways, this bun should take more than five minutes max. It'S super easy. If you are new here, hey what's up my name is Julia? Don'T forget to subscribe by clicking this button right here. I upload pretty often a couple times a week. So if you subscribe you're going to get notifications on when I upload new videos, you can also follow me on Instagram, snapchat and Twitter, and I will leave those usernames right out here. So definitely come follow along for behind the scenes on my everyday life. Well, I mean like majority of my snapchat: is my dog so um, but I mean I put other things on there too, and they stopped all the doggies yeah right anyways. I hope you guys enjoy this quick and easy hair tutorial, and I will see you in my next video bye. Okay. So since my hair is super fine and straight, it doesn't really have a lot of grip or a lot of texture, so it slides out of a messy bun like really easily. So I'm just going to kind of give it a little bit of hairspray just to give it some grit just a really light mist and then they're just going to brush that through. We don't want it to be crispy at all, okay and then I'm just going to go through with a power brush or comb whatever you have, I'm going to go in and tease it just all over really rough tease. It doesn't have to be perfect. The beauty of it, but I'm just going to give it some volume, so I have something to kind of wrap up in the bun, or else it will just be really flat and thin for my hair. Now, if your hair already has like some texture, it's a little bit thicker, you probably ought to do this, but this is just for if you have really fine, hair or thin hair, this is a great tip. Alright. So next we're going to take my hair tie. Put it on my wrist and I'm going to just bring all my hair up and you don't want it to be like perfect, I, like mine, kind of messy so um. I just kind of get annoyed when there's bumps like on the bottom, so I'll, just kind of smooth those out, but there's bumps on the top. That'S totally fine, I'm just going to take my hair tie and wrap the first loop and I'm going to cut it kind of at the end of the pony, wrap it again and then one more times of three times and there it's kind of tight. So what I like to do is without moving it around too much just kind of fluff it at the root. But you wanted to stay tight, just going to kind of pull some pieces out and then what I like to do to make a little bit more messy is kind of run. My fingers and I just pull on the hair - I like to pull out some of the front pieces and just kind of pull out it to make a little bit more messy and then I'll just give it a little spray. So it stays and there you go. You have your quick and easy messy bun. Please give this video a thumbs up if you liked it, it really helps me out and helps my videos get seen by more people here on YouTube, just great for exposure and growing the channel. I hope that this makes it a little bit better. If you have fine and thin hair, you know you kind of just got ta roll with it roll the punches and make it work. So let me know if you try the messy bun and it works for you or if you have any more tips for me, I'm always on the struggle bus of the fine, thin hair. That is straight and does nothing. So if you have any tips for me, please leave them in the comments down below you can leave it on Instagram. Wherever I need all the help I can get anyways. I hope you guys enjoyed the tutorial and if you have any suggestions of other videos that you would like to see here on my channel, please leave them in the comments down below. I would love to hear from you guys and know what you would like to see here and I will see you in my next video bye.

lotusquel: OMG thank you! Most messy bun tutorials on YouTube are girls with thick hair. For the first time ever in my life I made a messy bun that is cute enough to wear in public. This is a life changer! No more plain lifeless ponytails! Thank you!

Giuliana Barile: OMG I FEEL LIKE I WASTED YEARS OF MY LIFE LMAO. I have SUPER thin hair and i thought i could never wear a messy bun cause it looked flat and tiny and awful and i googled "messy bun with thin hair" and this girl right here SAVED MY LIFE. did the same steps and i have the cutest messy bun ever as i type this. LOVE THIS! <3

Lexa: FINALLY A YOUTUBER WITH A HAIR TYPE LIKE MINE HAIR TYPE!!! Thanks for the amazing tutorial!

Omg.belle: tries to make a messy bun. isn't satisfied so tries 500 more times

Dana Millio: No exaggeration, this video just changed my life. I’m 25 and have never mastered the messy bun. My thin, straight hair just does not like to bend, let alone “fluff.” Whatever that wrist motion is that Julia does as she wraps the band around the first time just changed the game for me. Thank you, Julia!!!

MrsGreenApple: First bun tutorial I’ve actually tried and really liked. At first I was hesitant because it looked so different than I usually do but it actually makes me feel more confident

Cindy Talalla: Hi Julia. You’re adorable! Thank you so much for this tutorial. It works great with my long, super straight fine hair.

applesasser: Omg girl I can't thank you enough! My messy bun finally looks so cute!

Kayla Michelle: Feels good knowing I’m not the only one with super fine, thin hair that literally does not do anything!! It’s naturally pin straight too so it doesn’t even hold a curl!

Carly: Omg - why have I only just now found this video?!?! I have super fine, straight hair & can never do a messy bun.... and any tutorial I watch is always so hard to reproduce. But this was was ridiculously easy & I have the absolute cutest messy bun! Thank you for this - you’ve changed my hair game!

Michele N Olson: I've been trying to achieve this look for years, thank you so much! It worked for my thin hair.

bekah barrell: Thanks so much!!! I always thought I couldn’t do anything with my thin hair, but this really worked! ♥️♥️

LauraAmy: I love your videos so much! It would be awesome if you did a elegant bun for thin hair for prom

Sara Flores: This was really helpful thank you so much ❤️

Jordyn R: I've tried a lot of methods and this is still the easiest and best. My hair is shorter and slightly thicker (or maybe just damaged from going blonde lol) and I like to use your exact method but with an "invisi-bobble", loosen it a bit and then tuck any floppy ends back under the hair tie. I also find if I first put it into a regular pony first and gently back comb the pony with my fingers before attempting the bun, it works great every time! No Bobby pins needed. :)

Stephanie Lynn: OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! this worked so amazing❤️❤️❤️ I have been struggling all morning with my flat buns and now it's perfect

Hailey: Thank you! I've been trying to do a messy bun and i found your tutorial and it helped me a lot!(Even though I have thick, long hair!)

Morgan Ellsworth: Your videos are so simple and easy to follow because you're really good at explaining every step which is very helpful for a person who can't even do a ponytail a.k.a. me :)

arigatofu: THANK YOU so much for this. I make sure I wrapped my hair with the tie every time I make a loop so that it creates a rounder shape. My hair's thinner and finer than yours and there are usually "bald" spots when I tie my hair. Does anyone have any tips other than using a hair product to cover it?

Ambree Barrett: Yesssssss!!! Finally!!!! I've watched other tutorials for messy buns but watching this one finally got it to exactly how I want it.. I wish I could show a picture of how it looked before and how it looks now. Having fine thin hair sucks... living in Florida where it's hot and humid all the time the only choice I have is to wear it up. thank you thank you thank you you are awesome

Debora Bucci: Finally. Love. I have very fine individual hair but a lot of hair and never could I figure out how to do a messy bun. I found this so amazing, easy and looks great. It's the triple looping. Thank you.

Rose: I never thought about looping it at the end like that! My mom taught me basically how to do a tight bun ig. I would wrap the elastic around once and have a ponytail then take the hair and wrap it around and use the elastic to hold it. I always hated that look and preferred to just have a ponytail but this is so much more simpler

Jamie-Lee Hodgson: This looks super easy!! My hair is quite flat and I definitely know the struggle of trying to give your hair a bit of life!! Great video xx
