Well, hey guys in today's video i have some hair care products to review. For you all. You know my favorite hair care brand is function of beauty. I use their shampoo, their conditioner the mask, and i love the serum, but you guys have been asking me to review some different shampoos and conditioners. I'Ve been trying out a few as well as some a hair mask and a few hair care products. First of all, you guys have been asking me about this brown brown maui moisture for quite some time now, and i decided to try out their new auahapui, shampoo and conditioner. This is for it says, for doll hair. I think this is a good, shampoo and conditioner combination for people who have curly hair or more textured hair. It'S very, very gentle. It doesn't have any silicones in it, which i have videos explaining that silicones are not necessarily bad in hair care products, but for people with more textured hair. Sometimes they can build up and cause brittleness and the other nice thing about these. Is that not only are they super gentle, but they also have moisturizing ingredients. They have aloe in them and coconut oil, which really helps reduce hydro fatigue in the hair. Not only are they free of silicones but they're, also free of sulfates. Now sulfates are surfactants they're not bound in shampoos and conditioners, but they can be very drying. They'Re, small they're, more likely to get penetrate the skin and cause scalp irritation. So a lot of people prefer to avoid them. The set is really nice. I was expecting it to smell, like the paul mitchell, oahupui, shampoo and conditioner, and i haven't smelled that in a long time. So maybe my memory is a little rusty, but this actually it's odd. It actually smells more like a christmas scent. It has like a it has like a christmas candle scent. They are vegan, um and cruelty free. I don't know if you can see that, but it's really it's really thick like a gel and it's actually kind of hard to get just a small amount out, especially when you're in the shower um, and it ends up that. You end up getting way too much product out yeah, it's kind of hard to squeeze this and get a reasonable amount of product out. You end up getting too much shampoo and, as a result, it takes forever to rinse this out of the hair, so be careful with how much that you dispense, because a little bit goes a long way as far as the lathering it generates a mild lather. I would say so: it's not overly foamy, but it does take some patience to ensure that you rinse it out thoroughly. That is really important with shampoos and conditioners. A lot of people develop scalp irritation because they don't adequately rinse out the shampoo and that can especially occur if you use too much um. So the shampoo you know that would be my one gripe, it's difficult to get it out or to get a reasonable amount out. You end up getting too much just because of this kind of rectangular packaging, but those are great products for people who have textured, hair, curly hair, very, very gentle, moisturizing yeah. I really enjoyed that shampoo and conditioner aside from the packaging thing all right. This next shampoo and conditioner combination is really good for people who have fine hair that is oily. These products were gifted to me by eva new york city and my even eva nyc. It'S their lazy, jane air, dry, shampoo and air dry conditioner. These products actually help give your hair a little bit of texture, the shampoo and conditioner. They have ingredients in them that actually will help absorb excess oiliness. So if you have, especially if you have fine hair, that in a really oily scalp, that leaves your hair limp without a lot of volume, definitely try these out. They have kaolin in them and they also have tapioca starch. That'S going to help absorb some of that excess oil and it kind of sits a little bit on the it sits on the hair shaft, and it gives your hair some texture and it gives it like volume. I have really enjoyed these actually um. It gives my hair when i use these. It gives my hair a little bit of like, like i can give it a little bit of volume the next day, just by kind of doing this, and it also imparts. You know it brings out some of the wave pattern in my hair. However, using these because of that kaolin, my hair is it's medium as far as the oiliness, so for me, it does make my hair strands feel a little bit, not dry, but a little bit more rigid than normal, and so for that. For that reason, if you have color treated hair hair, that's been you know, you get straightened relaxed. What have you or you use a lot of heat styling? You may find that this leads your your hair strands to just feel too brittle because it's going to absorb your hair oils, so you may not care for that. But personally i have really enjoyed this again. If you have a fine hair type, that is just you know, tends to not have a lot of volume, and maybe your especially if you have oily hair, try these out they're very good, but the fragrance on these reminds me of the fragrance and shampoos and conditioners That they use in salons when they wash your hair, it kind of has a little bit of a powdery fresh scent to it, which i actually really liked. In addition to the kaolin and the tapioca starch. This also has um hemp seed oil in it, which is an emollient. You know it's going to help a little bit with shine and it's got sea lavender. A marine extract. That'S going to help with moisture retention, um yeah! Oh, the other thing is zeolite. That will help absorb kind of oil and give yours your hair a little bit of texture. This product is cruelty, free and vegan um, and in addition to that, the packaging is recyclable yeah. I have really enjoyed this shampoo and conditioner again, eva nyc. Gifted these to me, but i would definitely purchase these i'm curious to try more of their products comment below and if you've tried any of them um, but so far i've been really impressed with the uh lazy, jane air dry shampoo. I saw these at kohl's last time i was in there. I i don't know this was an eye herb impulse, but i'm kind of glad i went with it. This is a korean brand that i tried a long time ago. They had kind of a little bit of a out there type of product. I think it was back when those bubble bubble masks were really popular uh three or four years ago. Remember the like foamy bubble, mask trend, um elsa, elisa vecca, elisa vecca, eliza elizabeth well turns out. They'Ve got shampoo, they've got hair care products now, and i was intrigued by this sare 100 collagen coating, hair muscle, shampoo and treatment rinse. So this is a shampoo, and this is basically the conditioner. Now these products have a very mild surfactant in them, so they're, not overly drying or anything. As far as a shampoo, they impart a mild lather but they're very good for just daily shampooing scalp cleansing without leading to irritation. But their kind of main feature is that they have a lot of proteins in them that can help coat. The hair shaft reduce breakage and you know just kind of help with brittleness, especially if you have uh processed you know, hair that's been color treated and whatnot, so it's got hydrolyzed collagen in it gelatin hydrolyzed gelatin. It'S got soy protein, oats and hydrolyzed wheat. So those things are going to bind onto the hair shaft and fill in any little holes and whatnot and kind of just help with the rigidity, if you will of the hair shaft. For me, the shampoo and conditioner really left my hair feeling very soft. I actually used this last night, but if you have uh textured hair, you kind of have to be careful with this, especially if your hair, you know, is prone to breakage, because the proteins in this they can kind of build up on the hair shaft and make Your hair brittle, so it's fine to use products like this. You know shampoos conditioners products that have a lot of proteins in them, but you kind of want to only use them one or two nights a week. You don't want this to be a daily shampoo and conditioner um, because you can get a build up from all the proteins smells like a malt liquor like it smells like smearing off ice. It'S not a bad smell, but it does kind of have that that odor of, like a malt liquor beverage, it does not linger. However, like you shampoo and condition your hair with these products, rinse it out or whatever and get out of the shower, and you don't smell that the fragrance. So if you don't like the way it smells uh, you know it doesn't linger is what i'm getting at um. So i actually have really like these, but i only use them once a week. They do leave my hair feeling very soft, but i really like my hair to be shiny and to have kind of that glossy bouncy. Look this just kind of makes my hair soft feel soft, but um. I don't know that i would necessarily use this on a daily basis. I also tried out the sarah 100 collagen coating protein treatment. This is very similar to the rinse, but thicker. This is a full on mask. I actually really like this again. It left my hair feeling very soft, but not shiny. I thought this was pretty good, it's pretty affordable. I think it's under ten dollars, i want to say, but you don't get very much in this um. I actually prefer my function of beauty hair mask to this, but this is a good alternative. If you're looking for a mask, it's just going to help your hair feel softer, but i actually you know i enjoyed using this. It helped my hair be less tangled um and you know basically just an intense conditioner, but really what i'm looking for from a hair mask is that it makes my hair shiny the following day. I really like my hair to be shiny, yeah this i actually liked. I'M glad i tried it um, but i don't know i still prefer the function of beauty mask it really. You know it gets the hair, soft, manageable and shiny, whereas this. This is more just soft and kind of like an intense conditioning treatment and if you have textured hair, i would be cautious about using something like this too frequently, because all the proteins can't end up depositing on the hair shaft, making it more brittle. What does it smell like? I forgot to tell you that this smells like a las vegas hotel like a casino um, it's not a bad smell, but you know how they they spray in perfume in the casinos to mask the cigarette smell um. It doesn't smell like cigarettes, but it does smell like the fragrance that they walk through um yeah. It does smell like the fragrance that they walked through the the casinos kind of like, like i feel like i'm in the bellagio or something yeah. It smells like that. But like the shampoo and conditioner, it does not linger um, so you don't smell it like the following day or you know, even after you rinse it out and get out of the shower you're not going to smell it um all right. So those are the shampoos conditioners and the mask comment below, though, have you tried um elizabeth hair care products? I saved the box from the mask because it's like really cute um. I thought it was cute um plus it has all the ingredients on here. Yeah really high heavy on proteins um. They recommend leaving on five to twenty minutes. I cannot, i can't tolerate being with the mask on for 20 minutes, just because i get impatient um. I ended up using this, though, for probably 12 to 13 minutes found that that was just fine, this this the shampoo and conditioner they rinse out of the hair really well, as do as just the um, the even nyc products, the one that i had trouble rinsing Out, however, was the maui moisture. Now i've been trying some hair care products from derma e. They came out with a lot of new products and one that has surprised me in terms of the fact that it's actually worked well for me is their bonding hair repair oil. Now my hair type, my my hair is medium thickness. It'S not fine and it's not super oily, but it's not dry either. As far as my success with using hair oils, i find the majority of them leave my hair way down my hair too much and just make it look. Greasy and a lot of you guys have commented that if you have curly hair and you try and use a hair oil that it, you know kind of messes up your curl pattern. This has been really good for my ends. It'S very lightweight. It doesn't weigh down my hair, it enhances my natural wave pattern, which i really like you do not need very much of this to have you know to derive the benefit i have found. I found that less is more when using this uh. When i first started using it, i was really probably a little overzealous with how much i used based on the instructions, because it says to really work it in from root to end. I wouldn't do that. Just use a few drops to the end, especially if you have long hair like me, um, because it kind of works its way up to to uh. You know up higher. It works its way up more superior um, so i would just focus it on the ends. I put it on my hair, while it was damp at night times to one to two drops: sunflower seed, oil, jojoba seed oil, chocolate, mushroom oil, which is probably full of antioxidants, and it also has linseed oil and sweet almond oil. It does not have a fragrance sweet almond. Oil has a little bit of a natural aroma which you can kind of smell um. You know when you whip, you pass it under your nose, but on your hair you're not going to get any fragrance with this. I actually really like it like. I said it brings out my natural wave pattern. It doesn't weigh down my hair too much, especially if i'm conservative, with how much i use now, if you're someone who has fine hair, especially if it's oily, i don't think this is going to work for you. I think it's going to weigh down the hair too much and leave it limp, which you don't want, but if you have thicker hair, especially if you have a thick hair, that's coarse and you enjoy using hair oils, definitely give this a try. It has worked well for me and i typically don't find that oils benefit me much. I find that they just tend to weigh down my hair, but this really brought out my natural wave pattern without weighing down the hair or leaving it greasy. Last but not least, i have been trying out the derma e keratin thickening spray. It has um biotin. It'S got biotin and hydrolyzed wheat protein, so not as protein heavy as the elizabeth products, but um still kind of the same issue. If you use this too much and you have especially textured hair - that's prone to breakage, you may find that this worse sends that you kind of have to back off on it. But um. This product is kind of helpful, actually in um, creating a little bit of volume in the hair, and this product also really helped enhance my wave pattern. I found when i used it. It um the way i used. It was after at night time after shampooing catching my hair. While the hair was wet, i just sprayed a little bit actually to the roots and worked it into the top part of my hair, pin my hair up and then the following morning. When the hair was, you know, totally dry combed it out and had a lot more volume, so i actually really like this product. It does make the hair a little bit more prone to tangling. However, i found so be careful, especially if you have textured hair, that's prone to being becoming tangled um. I don't think this is good for you, but if you have um fine hair and you want something, that's going to add volume, especially if you have fine processed hair um that tends to be flat, especially up top try this out, it's actually pretty good. As far as just adding a little bit of volume, so it has peppermint spearmint eucalyptus and tea trees, so those are essential oils. You can develop an allergy to. They have fragrance compounds in them. So be aware of that. This is something that you're going to leave on. I only used it a few. I would only use this a few times a week um, because again, if you use it daily the proteins in this, i can kind of build up on the hair shaft and make the hair more prone to being brittle. And for me, i found that i really couldn't use this more than one or two times a week, because it does make the hair more prone to tangling so exercise caution with this, especially if you have textured hair, i would say avoid it. In summary, the maui moisture is great. If you have textured hair curly hair, it's very gentle very moisturizing, as the name implies. My one reservation with it is that it's difficult to rinse out in total and the packaging is such that it makes it so that you end up getting too much out um. The alliance of echo products are good to impart softness to the hair, but you don't want to use them daily because they can end up causing a build up. That leads makes your hair more brittle. The eva nyc products shampoo and conditioner the blow dry, one that i tried. Those are our air dry. What is it called? Lazy, jane air dry? Those are really good for people with fine oily hair, really good absorb some of that excess oiliness, especially with summer coming up. I feel like people like that, um, like beachy wave, look those that shampoo and conditioner combo really kind of speaks to that desire and then the derma e products. The oil is really good. If you have medium to coarse, hair texture and you enjoy using hair oils. It'S not heavy, it doesn't weigh down the hair. A little bit goes a long way, at least for me, and it doesn't, you know, brings out my natural wave pattern. I really liked it a lot um and then the uh keratin thickening spray is great for adding a little bit of volume, but it can make the hair more tangle prone yeah. That is everything you guys comment below on. If you've been using any new hair care products that i should know about, but i've really enjoyed these. I do still use the function of beauty, shampoo, conditioner mask and serum, and those are probably my favorites, but these are all very good. I'M really glad that i try them out and i will continue to use them until i finish them. I hope you guys enjoyed this video if so, give it a thumbs up, share it with your friends and, as always, don't forget, sunscreen and subscribe i'll talk to you guys tomorrow, bye, you

Urkel Grue: As a person with curly hair, i appreciate it when dr dray mentions that something might work or not for us.

The Amber Heard Playlist!!: I have been in the emergency room with head and body itching and rashes 3 times a year for two years and watching your videos, mostly the hair and eczema ones has finally seemed to help me to stop that. I like the videos about face care but the other ones are very important and I hope you make more of them very much.

Nik: For the too much shampoo dispensing issue... I recently bought some cheap $3 soap dispensers with a pump from Target to put my shampoo and conditioner in. They work great for getting out just the right amount of product! And they look nice too.

Lisa D: I’m enjoying Dr. Dray’s improv when she describes the scent of these products! Would you like to smell like a Christmas candle? A malt beverage? How about Las Vegas casino perfume masking cigarette smell?

Connie: Dr. Dray describing the smell of products is one of my favorite parts of her descriptions. So creative!

VE Tsai: I’ve never been able to figure out how Elizavecca makes their wonderful hair products so inexpensive! I’ve been using the CER-100 hair mask for about 3 years! Amazing for color-treated hair!

era _: its over a month now and youre still my background music whilst im in wfh setup. Ive been learning so much and my skin is improving tremendously. thank youu

Courtney Rae: I recently purchased Pantene Pure Clean and Clarify conditioner and would recommend it! It’s free of fragrance, dyes, and silicones, and the moisturizing ingredients provide a lot of slip so it’s gentle on my fine curly hair. Thanks for the hair care video, Dr. Dray!

Serina Balderrama: The Maui moisture one I LOVE as well. I have fine to medium wavy hair and it tends to limp easily or weigh down because wavy hair can get weighed down easily. The Maui moisture helps my hair bounce back :)

Christi Elizalde: It's so refreshing to hear her talk about fragrance, and not be against it lol. All her skin and body care is so fragrance free, it's nice to know she's ok with it in hair care. I wonder what fragrance she puts into her function of beauty? Love her description of scents lol

Mary Lawman: Yay for hair care!! I love trying different hair products. These sound nice. Thanks, Dr Dray! Happy Wednesday. Hope you have a lovely evening.

Christa's Garden: I am on my first bottles of Maui Moisture shampoo and conditioner as well. Yeah I am not a fan of how it dispenses either but am liking the product overall. My favorite shampoo and conditioner is the Love Beauty and Planet Murumuru Butter and Rose. It rinses out very fast and smells like those rose scented English bath cubes that you could buy at dollar stores in the early to mid 90's, lol. I love the scent.

C J: Thank you for this content!! I've been struggling with my fine hair and oily scalp and will definitely try out that Eva NYC combo. Anyone else have any products they love for their fine hair and oily scalp? ❤️

Karen Farmer: Hi Dr. Dray - I'm loving binging on your videos. I'm in my 50s and had worn my hair straight and fairly long (only very rarely blowing it dry and without using any other styling equipment) for years, and occasionally playing with color. It's medium texture and I have lots of it (according to my pain management doctor who has to inject botox as a migraine treatment into the muscles around my head that are mainly under my hair.) It's pretty healthy since I haven't abused it much over the years. I recently ended up with a disaster of a haircut and had to go much shorter than I'd ever wanted and now it takes a bit more to even make it look less terrible. (Same hair stylist as the last 15+ years but somehow we were really bad at communicating this time, even when I showed her a picture and told her I wanted the same exact thing as the last several times.) The grays are really starting to come in but I don't mind them. I was wondering about your opinion on Tweak'd by Nature and Wen by Chaz Dean products. I'm sure they are over priced, but are they good products? So many claims about 'natural' products these days, but I'm not convinced that 'natural' means 'better.' (The weeds that grow in my yard are 'natural' but I wouldn't put them on my hair/skin just because they are 'natural.') Thanks!

Chelly Cordoba: The Eliza and Eva one sound interesting. I’m currently using the no nothing moisture shampoo as my daily and Karols daughter wash delight 2-3 night a week. Both recommended by you and I love them

Hana MacQuoid: Dr Dray! I would love to see more hair product reviews from you!

Reilly Reinhold: My biggest problem currently is managing frizz without leave-in products. I’m super prone to acne and have already experienced “pomade acne” from some of the products I’ve tried in an attempt to manage frizz caused by Florida humidity.

Elizabeth Evelyn: I'm just getting into haircare now so I really appreciate this video! I'm intrigued by the Eva NYC one since my hair's pretty fine and limp.

Kristin Nunez: I'm a fan of Eva NYC. I have fine, damaged hair but my hair loves their hair mask. It comes in a giant pink tub and is $14.99 at Ulta. It leaves my hair very soft and feeling lightweight. I only use it on the mid length to the ends of my hair. I have been so curious about the air drying duo from them. Since I hardly use heat I think I have to try it. Thank you for the great video.

Nicole Lewon: Maui Moisture and Shea Moisture for my wavy hair have been my go to for a number of years. Love them! They don't build up in my hair, are super moisturing, and don't leave my hair frizzy. The Maui Moisture conditioner in particular is sooo good. Even if my hair is tangled, as soon as I put it through my hair, I can run my fingers through my hair. It reminds me of the conditioner that comes with box dyes. But without all the junk those tubes contain!

Breea Day: I used to love maui until my hair started falling out. I did some research and realized that there are formaldehyde releasers in it. Also most of the shampoos and conditioner you can get at places like walmart.

Sherry Renteria: Thank you Dr Dray for doing the homework and giving us the answers

Ashley !: I’ve been wanting this video for months!! I’ve been waiting and just bought the Native cucumber and mint conditioner and Not Your Mother’s Matcha Green Tea shampoo. I love both the scents although I know fragrance isn’t good for the skin. Both seemed like the ingredient list was alright. However I use to use Petal Fresh Superfoods Damage Control shampoo and conditioner the Kale Omega 3 Keratin version and I’ve been loving it for years because it is sulfate free but wanted to try something new.

Kerry Gulliksen: Function of Beauty is the best! I have had been hesitant to try another "internet " brand but this was a great recommendation! Thank you! I am a big fan of Derma E so that's a must try. I see the Maui products often but wasn't sure if worth trying so thank you! I also loved the Smirnoff reference! (I am from Jersey: Smear Knoff...LOL!)

Callie Kanim: I love every Eva NYC product I have tried and have gotten friends hooked on them! The air dry combo is my favorite!

Koko B: Just what I needed today. Thank you Dr dray for lovley content as usual ❤❤❤❤

michelle martinez: I have naturally curly hair that I straighten about 2-3 x a month and I LOVE Eva NYC products I use the 10 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, the therapy hair mask, and the satin leave in cream and my hair is so healthy despite my rendezvous with heat styling. It also maintains my curls springy and well moisturized if I decide to wear my hair natural. Great products.

jessica gardner: I am so grateful for all of your videos. Thanks for being a real person in a world of Influencers and thanks for sharing your knowledge with us

Ali Haefner: Hi, Dr. Dray! Love your videos :) They are always so informative and have helped me so much. If you have the time, I would love a review of LOMA haircare. Have a good day and thank you for this video!

Gail Bennett: I have only used the EVA NYC exfoliating salt scrub shampoo and I love it! I have fine textured hair so I use it to get rid of any build up

Miss Z: I LOVE the smell of Eva NYC lazy jane. It adds joy to hair washing process for me. And I find it lingers for next day in a subtle way, so I continue enjoying that delicious fragrance lol

Julia D.: Great vid Dr. Dray! I have been growing out my hair during COVID. Using LOVE, BEAUTY AND PLANET hair products (and laundry products too) lately. Heavenly scent, great ingredients & beautiful hair!

Aida K: Love that Cer-100 collagen treatment!! Now it’s all I use as conditioner

Stephanie Butler: Thank you for this!!! I've been using Redken for a long time and I'm happy with it but I'm always on the lookout. May give the Maui Moisture a try.

Wendy Voye: I'm having a lot of shedding recently I'm hoping there's a product for that in this video! ❤

lilanlovmov: The only Eva NYC product I’ve tried is their therapy session hair mask and it works great on my fine and wavy hair, definitely wanting to try those air dry products

HintOfLavender: Can we do a store shopping day with shampoos and conditioners sometime? I love watching your shopping videos and I would love some Dray approved brands to try!!

HarryTheRatSlayer: hey dr dray i was wondering if you could make a video on haircare myths about the structure of our hair one examble being whether warm water really opens up our hair cuticles similarly to the myth that warm water opens up our pores as well as the effects of silicones and different oils best suitable for each hair texture

annibunny: Hi Dr Dray, could you make a video on what to look for in a good shampoo? I'm always a little bit lost when it comes to picking out good ones... Have a nice day :)

MinneAppleJax: I just got the CER-100 mask & absolutely love the way it makes my hair feel. I wish I could use it every time I wash my hair, because my hair is SO FINE that no matter what, it breaks off left & right.

Lauren Price: Hi Dr. Dray for your lips you might want to try the Trader Joes Head to Toe Moisturizing Balm (shea, oat butter). It is great for lips, elbow and heels:)

Kylie Hudson: I loved maui shampoo and conditioner until I realised that it contained formaldehyde releasing ingredient and I could no longer use it as I am terrified by this type of ingredient. Can you please tell me if I am overreacting when it comes to formaldehyde realesing compounds, ingredients. They are in most haircare products and I struggle finding and sticking to a shampoo and conditioner. I am honestly terrified of so many ingredients that it drives me crazy.

Ü: You should try the healingbird ultra protein ampoule treatment, it gives a really nice glossy sheen to your hair

Jenny S: I love Eva nyc products. I use their purple shampoo and conditioner since I'm a blonde, and their styling products are wonderful too.

Monique lindholm: Love the No, Nothing brand you reviewed a while ago. Was surprised it was so good. I had never heard of it. It’s Also a professional product I can get at from CosmoProf. As a hairstylist I’ve tried a lot and for my fine, bleached hair this has been a game changer:))

Loraine Mcgillivray: Hi Dr Dray I like the Maui moisture masks for my thick, course textured, curly and high porosity hair. The shampoo and conditioner I'm a bit meh about, although they are ok. I find them quite heavy on the fragrance though and normally use a fragrance free shampoo as my scalp is eczema prone. Masks not used on the scalp I can tolerate some fragrance, which is why I like the masks the best. Finding affordable fragrance free haircare for curly hair is difficult tbh. I live in the UK so our "drugstores" don't always have all the same options available in the US. i normally use the Boots expert sensitive shampoo which is gentle and fragrance free, but not drying as many fragrance free shampoos can be. Best wishes.

Suzy After30: All you 24/7 ponytail or bun heads experience breakage & hair loss? I do. Gah! I needed this video! Have a wonderful Wednesday y’all! ❤️

Julia Binford: Thanks!!! I just got the Eva nyc air dry for my oily headed, fine haired teen. Nothing like puberty to thwart the best efforts...

Zach M: Maui Moisture shampoos smell amazing. My sister used to use them a lot and I've debated it, but I'm loving the Desert Essence coconut line! After I finish, may try the Maui just to see, but I'm telling ya, Desert Essence is one of the best kept secrets, but I'd love to hear your opinion! (I swear I'm not a shill lol)

at: I started using sunscreen because of Dr. Dray. Love your channel Dr. Dray.

Catherine Black: I was super curious about the derma e bonding oil. Plus, Eva NYC Air Drying line looks super interesting

Oshie Merski: Would love more fragrance free recommendations! I happened upon a brand called "SEEN" that's fragrance free, and claims to be "good for your skin" too. Would love your thoughts!

lisa prestidge: I have been using the cer 100 hair mask for over a year now (found it on Amazon) my hair was so awful before starting using this and it has changed my hair 1000% I will always have it in hand ❤️

GeralDina: Dr. Dray, I work in health care night shift. Skin care for us is confusing. For example, retinol is for nighttime, but what about when we work? Then when we sleep during the day, do you recommend sunscreen? Would please make a video about "night shift skin care?" Thanks and always love watching your videos.

Stitch Lightly: My current mostly CGM regimen in Carol's Daughter shampoo, Cake scalp scrub, As I Am cowash, Blueberry Bliss, Uncle Funky's Daughter and Cake root volumizing foam. That Eva NYC sounds like something I need to try tho.....

Keila Stahlman: Just wanted to let you know how to pronounce the Maui shampoo :) Awapuhi = ah-vah-poo-hee Love your Channel and all your recommendations!

Christine Keleher: I hurt my back I’m off this week so Dr Dray is making my day little more bearable lol. Need a shampoo recommendation. Wear hair net and hard hat at work all day and my hair needs love. Thanks Dr D. Wondering I have fine hair but lots of hair and in the last year it has a very little wave in the back. Any recommendations please.

Gandang Pinay: I use sebamed hairloss shampoo and repairing conditioner, a bit pricey where i'm from but it helps a lot on my hairloss problem. I purchased Elizavecca Cer-100 treatment to try as my hair gets frizzy specially on summer time hope it works on me

Wendy Gessner: I had excessive hair loss due to having Covid back in August 2020. It's growing back now and is about 1"long. The hair that didn't fall out is like cotton candy and I can't bring myself to cut it off. Do you have any recommendations to make it look normal? My head is itching like crazy, is that normal for hair growing out.

mary ann Gonzalez: Happy Wednesday dr Dray and everyone great topic always like to hear about new shampoos have a fabulous day love to mom and Tybee

quantumwombat: The Eva NYC therapy sessions hair mask is my all-time fave!

Dania Tashtoush: I’d love to hear your thoughts and opinion on native shampoo and conditioners, so many people rave about it and I’d love to know if they’re really actually good for your hair

Marleen G.: Garnier is now CF (cruelty free), and their "treats" aka "hairfood" (in the EU) masks are amazing. You can use them as conditioner, deep conditioner or leave-in, it's a 3-way mask and it is *amazing* smells so nice when the warm/hot water hits it, and when you rinse it out. I especially like the papaya and banana one (in that order).

Haley Dorton: Would love to see what you think of Bondi Boost shampoo. I use their hair growth line as I have thinning hair. It moisturizes so well without weighing down. They also have a Procapil spray which is supposed to help with hair fall. I have watched your videos on Rogaine and interested on your thoughts on Procapil.

Emma Eryn: this is so perfect i have been having an awful time finding good hair products also can you recommend some silicone free (or low on the ingredient list) skincare! i’m having such a hard time finding spf

Meh: Have you heard of Hello Seen? It's supposed to be a hair care line for the scalp and supposed to help with acne break out as well. Wanted to know your thoughts on them since they were founded by a dermatologist

nicole on feels: Hair deserves some love too, just like your skin :)

March: Hey how about reviewing the following shampoos- *Earth sciences shampoos (they have two fragrance free ones) *Giovanni shampoos *Herbal Essences aloe and bamboo shampoo, aloe and eucalyptus shampoo * Cleure shampoo * Briogeo fragrance free line *Seen haircare line Also, nice video! I've been dying for haircare content from you❤️

KGLynn: Your scent descriptions are so specific I love it!

Victoria Tucker: You should try the Paul Mitchell rosemary mint shampoo conditioner. I love the smell!

Mee Too: OMG I do remember the bubble face mask thing. That was a trend that needed to die. I couldn’t imagine using something like that on my skin. It looks like it’s bi carb in it.

Mags Henri: Dr Dray I saw you talking about your silk pillowcase on instagram. How often do you need to wash it for someone with sensitive eczema acne prone skin and asthma? Once a week Will do? :) Thank you for the tip! I have Maui shampoo here, but only tried the hair mask and I do like it :) Have A nice day always!

Jeffrey Rivera: Thanks for continuing to review different products. Hope you’ve been doing well btw :)

Lizah: Dear Dr Dray, could you review the Cantu products please, they are silicone and sulfate free and a very affordable brand. Thank you :)

Alicia Seecharan: I recommend shampoo & conditioner... Aveda rosemary mint, QVC nick chavez,Ulta clairol, Sauve apple, and L’Oréal kids (it’s like j&j but scented fruity)

elenadear: If you could review more of the Eva nyc brand please! Thank you ♥️

Diana Moore: Yay I need this right now thanks Dr. Dray! Enjoy your Wednesday!

Lindsey Prozanski: I love Eva nyc products! I’ve used several of them per recommendation of manes by Mel.

Anita Clemens: I have been using Garnier hair serum on my wet hair prior to blow drying. You can buy this at the grocery store. I like it. It helps to de-tangle my hair as I blow dry it. I also use Moroccan Oil (salon product, not CVS one) hair mask and clarifying shampoo once a week. I like those a lot. The last time I was at the salon, they gave me a free sample of the Moroccan Oil hair thickener. I liked it well enough. And since I color my hair, I often use the Framisi shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair (the purple one). I like that very much.

Katherine: I love that Eva nyc brand! Happy Wednesday! ☀️

California2Florida: It’s crazy because so many hairstylist say to stay away from that Maui because it is so bad for your hair

Tracey Trotter: Dr Dray, I am wondering if you have tried not brushing your hair after washing. It is the key to my wavy hair (I do have to use a product, I use Cantu cream) and I think your beautiful hair would look fantastic this way.

Sahib Merwar: I was having a bad day today and I started crying when dr dray said hey guys oml you make me so happy☺️☺️

Amy Demedici: The coconut hair oil from Trader Joes is worth a good try.

It's in the details: to let you know from someone from hawaii in regards to the Maui brand - its pronounced AH-WAH-PU-EE. love your videos

Amanda W: Has anyone tried Vanicreams shampoo or conditioner? I've used their body wash, face wash, and moistures but never realized they have hair care!

Amanda Aguilar: The Eva nyc miracle line is amazing! I swear by that stuff!

Katrina Kilburn: Lazy Jane is my new favorite shampoo and conditioner!

Katherine: I love the eva nyc mane magic 10 in 1 primer!!

Dalia H.A: Is baby shampoo good for adult hair? I experienced an allergic reaction to a shampoo bar, so I went back to my head and shoulders (as I have been dealing with dandruff for a long time), but my scalp was still extremly itchy! I tried the Dove baby Shampoo, and I was shocked. My hair was softer than it ever was and my scalp felt good after a week, also my dandruff stopped( I have oily, dandruff prone scalp)...

Fyrinspector1923: Dr. Dray: Do you have any thoughts on the HSN products called Tweeked”. It is suppose to be 100% natural and ingredients are sourced from place like Nepal. Sounds interesting but I really am not sure. Thank you. ❤️Kathy

Ariana A.: Just wanted to say that maui moisture has an ingredient that makes hair fall out

Carolyn R: The Eva Nyc therapy sess mask is good :) definitely worth trying

Suz M: Glad you did some videos about hair care. Would you be willing to give advice on shampoo and conditioner bars? I have recently tried the bars because they take up less space in our shower, are easy to take on the road/camping, and of course less packaging. I took the dive on Ethique brand fragrance free and 2 other versions of theirs and found I have a problem with some of the essential oils (mostly peppermint was way overwhelming as in it burned my eyes just from the steam in shower.) I haven't tried J.R. Liggett's Old Fashioned Shampoo Bars and I know there are others. Any advice would be more than welcome. Love your videos, the delivery, knowledge and honesty. Thank you.

ashley ayeee: Could you make a video on hair porosity? I've heard that high porosity hair does well with protein but low porosity hair does not. Thank you!

Angela Crowder: Hi Dr. Dray, I'm early! Yay!! I always enjoy your videos! Thank you so much!! Have a wonderful day!!! ☀️

SM: Hey Dr! I would really appreciate you answering this. Do you recommend the revitalift laser renew night cream for anti aging?

sweetninasky 9: Maui moisture is the best ! I have the one u have and the thick hair one. They smell good I use the paul mitchell awapuhi too but theses are cheaper n do the same thing.

Nancy: I think you hit all hair types except very fine dry hair with breakage. Need suggestions. Love your videos

Chaima Amlouk: I have been waiting for this video for a long time. Congrats on the 1.12M subscribers
