Hey guys welcome back to my channel so for this tutorial, we're gon na be doing a crocheted look. This is gon na, be the boho locks or both old guard socks. Look for the front, we're gon na be doing individual. So, as you can see, I'm making preparations for that, so I'm gon na be using Marley hair to braid her hair, because that marley hair is more compatible with most crocheted LOC hairstyle and when you do the individual crocheted method with marley i mean when you do. The individual crochet method, with marley hair, like the base braid it last longer when you do that method with crocheted hair, because typically crochet hair does have a marley finished texture to them. One of the really good ones do and it just kind of blends better. If the hair and makes it stay inside the hair longer, all I'm doing is just individual braids in the perimeter. As you can see, the back section already has some quarrels. This is a great way to still have fullness. If you want that really full book and you still kind of want the illusion of the individual blocks, this is a great way to achieve that. This whole process took us. I would say about an hour 30 minutes and this hair that we're gon na be using was got was received from BOGO locks. My client bought this hair with her. So I was like you know. Let'S film this tutorial, I had a client bring this exact in here before and I loved how he turned out. So I knew I was gon na be bombed because I already worked with this hair before so. I just knew it's gon na look really really good. So yeah that's pretty much the gist behind a look so yeah, so in total I think we did about, I would say roughly nine to ten braids in front section of it. Her hair and I've already done the quarrels. Before I decided, I wanted to film the video, so this video was not planned. It was just kind of like spontaneous and like let's film it and I'm glad she allowed me to do so so yeah pretty much just doing the individual braids in the front and then I'll come right back when we're ready to do the individual method in the Front in the stars, so this is what the bow hole guard sucks looks like we're. Gon na do a quick unboxing for you guys very random, but this is what it looks like. It comes in six packs. The color we're gon na be using is bourbon, which is like a burgundy and a color 30 mix to get as you can see, half of the pack is that burgundy, color and the other half is that color 30/1 B mix looks really really good together. You guys so pretty so for this hairstyle in order to be able to mix us two colors together to look right. I'M gon na show you what to do. All it is. Is that you're, just alternating the colors, when you are installing so we're gon na be starting off with the brown and then we're gon na switch to the burgundy and then we're gon na? Do the Browns and then the burgundy? But as you can see right now, I just insert the crochet latch hook to the base of the individual braids and I looped it creating. I lift the braids into the crochet loop to create a knot, and I'm gon na be inserting my latch hook through the crochet here to pull the natural hair from inside the crochet latch. So you're pretty much gon na be inserting a crochet latch hook until you have completely covered the individual braids completely. So I like the inserting ratchet method because I think it doesn't disturb the natural form of the crochet. Stick it to each hat. You know, while giving the same exact look some people like unraveling the twists, but I don't I just feel like it makes it puffier when you do that, so I just formed a habit of doing the last shock method. So now I am working with the burgundy crochet hair. As you can see, I am alternating the colors it's gon na create a very natural finish, highlights and lowlights when we're done. Okay, so I'll. Just keep that in mind when your client brings hair. That is like different colors. Don'T panic nine times out of ten, that hairstyle is gon na, be one of the prettiest hairstyles you're gon na do okay, so any key is just alternating the colors as you install it. So it's really really not that you know it's not that scary, if you think about it, so I had a client the other day. She brought me like four different crochet colors because they ran out of the hair color that she wanted. So she has to pick random colors, so she brought four colors now old me would have freaked out, but you know new me in new year new me married a decided. You know what I'm gon na alternate the colors and I've been doing like doing that. For a minute now - and it actually always comes out really really good, it always has a very nice, like you know, highlights and lowlights mix, especially if it's colors that complement each other like this two colors, it really does complement each other. The burgundy complements the the. What do you call it the color 30 and then the one B's to kind of keeps it looking natural without making you look crazy. So it's just like perfect blend of colors super cute back to the tutorial, so yeah still inserting the latch hook through and then I'm gon na be pulling it and my juice. You notice how I don't just insert the latch hook from the very bottom. So just do it all at once, because when you do that sometimes you're gon na mess up and then you're gon na mess up the crochet here. So it's good to break it up in parts. Sometimes I break it up into parts. Sometimes I break it up in three parts, just depending on how long your clients hair is, so don't try to do it all any ones, because when you do that, sometimes you kind of mess up and then first of all, you don't even have enough space and Your latch hook so even be trying to do that, so don't cut corners just take your time and get it done so for the rest, I'm just gon na be during the regular crochet method at the back just doing the regular crochet knots. This is where it kind of goes a little faster for me. I always have my clients help me out with this process. It makes it easier for me to just go so just give your clients to cross your hair and tell them okay, give me this color and then that color and this color in that and they'll kind of get the gist of it. So that way you know they're helping and then you go faster. You work faster when you have help so got ta mind your clients can always help you with little things. If it's not, if it's not, you know stressing them out, of course, but as you can see, I'm alternating the colors. I am going with the brown first and then I proceed on to use the burgundy and then the Browns and the Burgundy. Sometimes my client forgets and they should give me like the brown, but it doesn't matter I'll. Just kind of you know space it out. So that way I can place it where he needs to go, but you see when I'm done in a little bit, you're gon na see how the color kind of just works. We didn't really work together and it just flows and complements each other. So I think boho they did a really really good job at pairing. This color together for this boho goddess la look and that in the pack the pack is assist. Six pack, um crochet pack, comes in everything you're gon na need, like you know how normally most brands you have to buy individual packs of crochet hair well with boho locks. It'S just like a one pack with all the crochet hair that you're gon na need, and we had. I think we probably had like a little bit of extra left and I just kind of put it in there just to make sure that it's nice and full, but yeah you're. Typically all you need is one pack. You don't need anything more than that and one pack comes in six sections, so you get like a lot of locks for your money, so it's worth it. I think it's a really really cute lots. I liked their locks more because it looks worn out. It doesn't have that shiny, fake, lock. Look like that fake, crochet locks. Look. It just has like that old locks, which is the best luck when your lock start. Looking old. That'S when he's you know he looks the prettiest. So that's what you're getting with both locks! That'S their, I guess I'm point of difference. Is you get more realistic, crocheting lock and it looks great. I love the finished look so as you can see, I'm still alternating the colors on my left section of the hair in the right section of the hair and, like I said we're done, you're gon na see how it kind of falls really nice together. Blends super duper nice together, but yeah, so we also have some curly hair that we're also gon na be using to create that that carefree boom look. So that's that's enough. Like an option, you don't have to use the you know the curly hair. You can just kind of leave it with the locks. If you like this look, but you know, if you wan na use it a little bit more than I definitely recommend you get the curly hair as well, which we did so I'm gon na show you guys in a little bit. It'S made everything real cute and this hair, just kind of looks really good on her, like you know how someone, just you know how it people get a hairstyle, just kind of fits them like. I feel like this hairstyle really fits her a lot, so she made a right choice. You know with the hairstyle selection and I always when I need some lovin, let your knowledge, your song, can play no melody there's. No one else does. Maybe we can Emma Street me never knew this heart of mine forever to be as one the universe has known it all along. Maybe this is where I study stars. Maybe you was written in the stars so for the curly hair, we're gon na be using billow locks, and I think this is called bourbon. I think no, it's not bourbon. I would just say this is a color 1b /, 3000 230, or something like that. It'S really really nice. The top part is like a blend of a 1 B and 30, and then the base is just straight-up 30. It'S really really cute any kind of complements that look they're already going for so where it works really. Well, it's a nice blend. So for this it kind of comes pre. The 30, so you're gon na have to break the hair apart before you start installing them. I like to break one little section into two get to different parts from one little sealed: pre looped hair and then, when I do loop, the hair into the crochet hair. I like to do multiple knots just to secure it, especially if you're working with curly hair. You want to make sure you have like multiple knots, because if not it's gon na slip out because the hair - it's quite silky, so I recommend that you do multiple lot. I mean multiple knots to make sure to make sure it stays in there and doesn't unravel now. The only downside to add in the curly pieces to the crochet look is that it may get older quicker, that's one thing and it could start tangling up because the locks itself, you know if it's gon na, be if it's like this texture, it's gon na behave Like real locks, it's gon na get kind of. You know matted together, sometimes so it's gon na it's gon na behave like that, and then we have the straight hair. I mean their little curly hair around the locks it's gon na get tangled in with it and probably gon na make it tangle quicker. So she was saying that the boho company to give instructions on how to care for this hair like what product, not what products you just recommending. You know methods to take care of the curly hair. If you added to your crochet here, so don't worry, they're gon na, send you all the information of how to care for it. She was saying something about using conditioner too soft in it. I don't know. I don't have to reach out to her to see how she's able to you know, maintain it, but I would say just utilize. Coral activators and conditioner is a good idea because it was kind of soft in the hair and make it detangle, and things like that. So keep that in mind, but yeah, that's the gist of this hair. You guys is so cute. I absolutely love the look like. I am actually gon na be doing right here like this in like two days because of this hairstyle coz, I was inspired. I want to try it out, I'm gon na trying something different. So that's what I'm gon na be doing, yeah and don't forget to lay down your edges and all that good stuff. You know kind of seal the whole look together, but I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial if you did make sure you give the video a thumbs up, make sure you leave a comment share the video - and I will see you guys on my next video okay - Have a merry day - and God bless No, the baby in the stars.
