I don't like extra heavy greasy hair, so i'm not heavy with it. I, like light airy hair. I don't want to weigh my hair down too much. Hey luvies! Welcome back to my channel. It'S me Sharon and today i'm bringing you my quick and simple night: hair care routine for the best, relax, hair tricks and tips make sure you subscribe to my channel also click the bell so you're notified every week. When i upload a video, you don't want to miss it, so you want to make sure you go ahead and subscribe and click that bell okay, so my night routine is very simple, very quick to the point. What it consists of is moisturizing and sealing my hair and wrapping my hair and then tying my hair up with a scarf. That is it i like to keep it very simple. I know i need to incorporate moisturizing and sealing. This is a simple way for me to do it, keep it simple, easy and then it's something i can maintain and keep going and be consistent with so first, what you need is a moisturizer. You also need an oil to seal the moisture in, and i like to use a scalp oil as well. You need a comb. I prefer a big tooth comb and a scarf. I use a do-rag to tie my hair up at night. So that's all the things you need, so let's get started so first i like to comb out my hair. My hair is pretty thick as you can see, because i work out six days a week and when i work out, i sweat and so my hair is thicker and i am in love with it. I did cut my hair. So if you didn't see my video of me cutting my hair go ahead and check that out, yeah, i'm loving the haircut love the results, it feels so healthy and then i like to split it in half straight down the middle. So i make sure i moisturize and seal every part of my hair and then i like to tie one section up and work with one section at a time, so i decided to do a voice over because i would be rambling just talking and then this video Would be 20 minutes, so i am now going to divide that half of my hair into two and i'm going to work with the back section of my hair first, but first i want to make sure it's detangled, so i'm going to comb it out and then I'M going to go in with the as i am so much moisture and i'm going to apply that to my hair. I'M only going to do one pump for the back half and then i'm going to spread that all over my hair, starting with the ends and then i'm going to work my way up. So i'm working in sections because i want to make sure i moisturize every single strand of hair on my head. So once i moisturize that section, i am going to divide split that back half section in two and then i'm going to take another pump up. As i am so much moisture and spread that on the back half so pretty much, i'm just making sure i get the moisturizer in the middle of that section. I just don't want the hair on the outside of the section to get the moisturizer. I want all of the hair to get the moisturizer even in the center, so i'm going to moisturize that then i'm going to comb it out and now i'm going to make sure i get my nape as well. The nape can get very dry and of course, breakage can occur and i do have breakage in my nape area. So i want to make sure i get that as well. So then, i'm going to go in with oil, i'm using the jojoba oil um, i'm almost out of it. As you can see. I have like three drops, but that's enough, so i'm gon na do one drop of jojoba oil and then i'm gon na put that all over the back half section of my hair. So i'm just going to work that into my hair. So i always divide the section i'm working with in two, so i divide that section into so i make sure i get all of the hair in that section. So now we have moisturized and sealed, and this section is good to go and then i'm going to move on to the top section. So now i'm going to clip the back section of hair that i already moisturized and sealed because remember i'm working with one section at a time and i'm going to repeat the same steps, i'm going to comb out my hair so detangle, then i'm going to apply One pump of the as i am so much moisture to that section of hair, then i'm going to divide that section and then apply another pump of, as i am so much moisture to the inside of that section. I also want to make sure i moisturize my edges. I mean a girl needs her edges like nobody wants to be edgeless, so we're going to moisturize our edges and then i'm going to go in with my jojoba oil and i'm going to do one drop of that and i'm going to apply that all over. That section to seal my hair and then i'm going to repeat those steps on the other half of my hair. So for those of you who aren't familiar with the term moisturizing and sealing it pretty much is what it is you're going to moisturize and seal your hair. So you want to start off first with the moisturizer. The best moisturizer to use is a water-based moisturizer and that moisturizer can be a liquid. It can be a cream, but it should be water-based, and then you go ahead and apply that moisturizer to your hair, then you want to use an oil. Oil is a sealant oil, isn't a moisturizer, it's going to seal moisture in so you want to go in with the oil. You can use coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, whatever oil you prefer to seal in the moisture, but you always want to seal it in because it's going to lock in the moisture it's going to allow the moisture to stay in your hair longer. So you always want to moisturize and then follow that with a sealant, which is an oil. So in the past i wasn't consistent with moisturizing and sealing my hair. I know it's important and i know it's important for hair growth and it stops breakage but y'all. When i say i hate heavy weight down oily hair, i hate it, but i know i need to be consistent and moisturize and seal my hair more i've had setbacks in the past, and i know it's because my hair wasn't moisturized properly. So i am going to incorporate this routine in my hair regimen, i'm not quite sure how often i would do it probably not every day, um, maybe twice a week or every other day i'll keep you posted on what i decide to do and how my hair Reacts to the moisture to finish up my moisturizing and sealing process, i'm going to go in with the mane choice: multivitamin scalp, nourishing growth oil, i'm going to apply a small amount to my scalp, all over my scalp and then i'm going to give myself a nice Scalp massage so i'm going to massage the oil into my scalp for about maybe five minutes or less it's time to wrap our hair, and all you need is a big tooth comb and your scarf durag. Whatever you need to wrap your hair, don't do a bonnet because all the bonnet is going to do is fall off your head. It'S not going to keep your wrap, secure, i'm going to decide on which way i want to wrap my hair. So i alternate what side or which way i wrap my hair. Okay. So, to start, i'm going to part my hair straight across my crown. Then you want to comb the hair to the back comb, your hair to the front and comb your hair down on the sides. Pretty much you want to make sure the top of your crown, where the part is that it is flat. It needs to be flat, then deciding on which way you want your wrap to go you're going to comb your hair in that direction. But first you want to make sure you have your hand placed on top of that part as you comb your hair around so you're, just combing your hair around your head in a circle. So just take your time, comb, your hair brush it back comb brush back with your hand, comb brush back with your hand, and you also want to make sure your hand, stays on top to make sure the crown is flat, and it also holds your hair in Place until you have completed the wrap, so you just want to keep adding hair and combing it around your crown or around your head. This is so weird to explain and i am like a pro at wrapping, my hair, because i wrap my hair so often, and i can do it very quickly. I'Ve been wrapping my hair for years, but it is hard to explain so pretty much. It takes practice. So you're, probably not going to get it right. Your first try, but just keep practicing another key to a good wrap is also having a brush. At the end i like to brush my hair down in the wrap and it kind of seals, my wrap in place. So when i get my bonnet, my wrap isn't going to fall apart. Just want to brush it lightly. Make sure your wrap is, i guess, in formation. So i hope this makes sense, but i can show you better than i can tell you so just look at what i'm doing and follow that after that, i'm going to put the scarf on my head, i'm using a durag, i'm going to put my drag on. My head tie it up and then it's time for bed. So this is my moisturizing and sealing plus wrapping my hair nighttime routine comment down below and let me know if you moisturize and seal your hair also.
