Moisturizing Nighttime Hair Routine For Growth | Type 4 Hair

In depth moisturizing nighttime hair routine for type 4 natural hair.

Nighttime hair routines are just as important as daytime hair routines. If your hair isn’t properly moisturized and tied up as night, you could potentially lose all of the progress you’ve made. This is also a perfect time to care for your hairline and any areas of the scalp that have difficulty growing hair or retain length.

The product that saved my hairline from postpartum hair loss was Pureauty Naturals Biotin Hair Serum. There are thousands of positive reviews and before and after photos. I recommend giving it a try if you have any hairless or trouble growing hair.

Hello, hello, hello, lovelies, welcome back to my channel, i'm excited today because we're going to talk about nighttime routines, you guys, if you are not taking care of your hair at night. All your progress during the day might literally go down the drain, and one of the things that i had been focusing on. I talked about this in october. I'M gon na talk about it this month as well, because edges are an essential in our culture. I feel i feel like we spend a lot of time talking about edges, edges, meaning hairline, for those of you who don't use that term. But that is the hairline, so you guys can see my hairline and how it's naturally a lot less dense than the rest of my hair, dense, meaning i just don't like. I have a lot of scalp showing right. It'S less dense right on this side. Naturally, it has a little bit more density, but, like i don't know in october a few months ago, my edges were not looking the way that they normally look right. They were not only just a lot less dense, but breaking the actual hair itself was breaking, and so i had to make a commitment to myself to change my hair routine and also go ahead and add a little juice to the edges. And that's when i started to use purity, biotin, hair serum, they are sponsoring this video look at how much i've used. I'Ve been using this thing, religiously at least minimum every other day, and then they came out with another scent and your girl was like. Thank you. This is the same amazing growth serum as this one, but with a citrus scent, and it smells very good uh. But in combination with using you know, actual products to help grow your hairline or take care of your hair or whatever. It is that you want to do you have to get your routine down, so this is the start of my day and i'm feeling on my hair and i'm i'm seeing that a couple things one. We love to see the edges coming in uh and also like my hair, feels a bit dry. I have moisturized my hair about two days ago and i used. Let me show you aloe vera gel and this kerlaid butter, and on top of that, a light oil. The aloe vera is acting as my leave-in. Of course, the butter is like my styler slash, moisturizer, and then the oil is my sealant, and this was about two days ago, i'm using new products. My hair felt extremely hydrated uh yesterday, but today it is feeling a little dry. So what that tells me is that i am going to have to rehydrate my hair tonight. If i, if i want to kind of maintain my moisture, the moisture levels of your hair will ultimately determine what your nighttime routine will entail. Styling your hair during the day gives you a chance to feel your hair and customize. The group of products you'll need to apply at night welcome to my easy nighttime hair routine. I figured i'd. Show you this one first, since it's so simple and if you wear jewelry of course go ahead and remove it then push your hair off your face so that you have access to your hairline spray it with water. This will soften and hydrate. The hair then apply your hair treatment. I'M using purity's, biotin, hair serum i've been using the original serum for months and recently switched over to the citrus scent. It'S the same great formula, but it has an orangey scent. That'S not too overpowering. The serum is very lightweight and infused with biotin to stimulate hair roots for growth. This serum is great for all hair types and genders and it seriously revived my postpartum edges. If you're in the market for a product to grow your hairline, i highly recommend you click. The link in my bio to check it out. I will keep vouching for this because it works so freaking well keep a satin scarf on standby and grab a satin hair scrunchie pile your hair on top of your head and loosely create a high ponytail using the scrunchie. This is called the pineapple method and i use it when my hair doesn't need to be moisturized. Put your satin scarf around your hair. I like to tuck my hair into the scarf as much as possible, grab your satin pillowcase and go to bed alright. Now i'm going to wash my makeup off and show you my in-depth bedtime, hair routine. First things. First, i incorporate a portion of my nighttime hair routine in my nighttime skin routine. I do this because, when creating habits, it's important to make it as easy and streamlined as possible. I know that i would never go to bed with makeup because i literally hate the feeling. So i follow my cleansing and moisturize routine with my hair, routine in cleansing and applying products. It'S really important that you watch out for product along the hairline, so many of us don't realize that the breakage along the hairline might be due to facial product buildup. So be on the lookout for that and rinse your hairline, if you need to when it's time to rinse your face, splash a little water on your hairline to moisturize and prep for your treatment once my face is cleansed and moisturize. I apply a very light layer of purity, biotin, hair serum to my hairline and then head back to my room. I recommend listening to some music or watching a movie or television show you enjoy during this process. It doesn't take long, but it encourages patience. You only need four products: water, leave-in moisturizer and a sealant begin with spritzing your entire head with water. If your hair is dry, this will help you to manipulate the strands without breaking them from brittleness then use your fingers to create small or medium sized sections and layer each product on top of one another. I'Ve recently began using aloe vera gel as my leave-in, and i really like it. Using leave-in conditioner under a moisturizer and sealant makes a huge difference in how long my hair stays moisturized once the section is moisturized and sealed twist and repeat, not only will you end up with re-moisturized hair you'll end up with a cute refresh twist out by the Morning, once you're done, you can use an elastic to put your hair back in a ponytail, then tie it up with your satin head scarf and you can play with the placement of your ponytail holder. I put mine in the back. I use it to stretch my hair a little more, but you know that step is optional next step head to bed on your satin pillowcase. So now that i have shown you that i am going to wash my face off myself head to bed now, i hope you guys enjoy. Listen if you want to know all of the different nighttime routines that i do. I'Ve got a whole video for you here. If you like that and down here, i want you to check out my extensive wash hair routine that i do once a month just to maintain the moisture levels in my hair. Alright, i hope you all enjoyed this kind of video and i'll see you in a couple days all right, all right, bye,

LaToya Ebony: Alright, we need tips. What are Ya’ll doing that’s working? Share the tea!!

Tainara Mugumela: Ran across your YouTube channel last year and honestly i couldn't help but to stay around. I love your energy and your authenticity and the guide on haircare and self-acceptance you bring to our community is very meaningful. Thank you

Kim Garcia: My night time routine also includes a serum of essential oils my daughter made that I mainly use around my edges LOVE IT! Then I use a silk scarf to cover my TWA. Keep giving us these videos, helpful tips with a pleasant and upbeat person.

Kathleen Harris: Great nighttime hair routine. It’s so important for length retention.

Romana: I use a facial headband whenever I wash my face because I noticed irritations in my hairline that I linked to what I was using on my face. Once I began using the headband the irritation began to go away, so I'd recommend that as a way to avoid the chemicals of your facial products going to your hair. You can also use it while putting on makeup.

Char- 47: I was looking to get the biotin serum but I wasn’t sure. So I’ll give it a try since you are giving good reviews about it. Thank you!❤️

Nancy: Come through with the aloevera gel :) love that! I've been thinking it's a good idea but the ones I've found either leave a white cast or need to be stored in the fridge. I'm going to try the one you're using. Looks good :)

miniminott48: My go-to style is the wash and go which typically lasts without refreshing until wash day. At night I throw on a bonnet and fluff my hair in the morning.

MT: I keep my hair in two low, loose and twisted ponytails; I pin them across each other to create somewhat of bun with a twist out "bayang" swept to the side for a little fanciness. That's pretty much my protective style. I noticed keeping my hair in a high ponytail was stressing my hairline even though it was loose. Now my edges are filling back in. I remoisturize my ends once during the week with Shea Moisture JBCO leave-in. It keeps my hair moisturized for days! I don't need an oil sealant. Camille Rose dries out my hair after a few days.

Jermaine Au Natural: The edges are looking good and filling in nicely. Nice night time routines

WhitNai: Currently in mini twists to keep my fingers out of my hair but at might my hair may get a little steam/water from the shower otherwise it's a satin bonnet or scarf then sleep on the satin pillowcase. I dislike going to sleep with any moisture on my hair so I save any moisturizing for the morning

BKnatural_ E: Love that sweater! I have it in white with black polka dots! Such a simple fashionable piece.

Kammara Jackson: All I do is go to bed. I sleep on a silk pillowcase and I mostly wear my hair in a wash and go.

Diane Walcott: Well firstly I wear my hair in mini braids majority of the time so when I moisturising my hair is water, oil and shea butter The water is my leave-in conditioner then the oil and lastly the shea butter I make my own D.Y.I growth oil treatment and it has been working very well, I have seen a big difference in my hair growth between last year around this time and now it's much thicker and my lil bold spot I had on left side of my hairline has grown n it's no longer bold

DollFace: Thank you! Your hair = my hair goals.

Barbara D: Luv luv your video...simple, doable, and it work!

Karen M: Yes, thank you for the tips & any nighttime hair routine for your son? For daughter basically we just do satin bonnet every night...

Loïs Kananira Munezero: Been ignoring this hair for weeks! Watching this with crusty dry hair and thinking amma do all this tomorrow but i don’t think i will! And girrrrrlll! Ur edges! Amma be here, cheer u and ur hair up but never attempt anything on mine! But go girl!

SHE McG: That was ✨ GOLDEN !!! ✨

Calitia Williams: I can’t remember which video you suggested that serum in but my edges are making a comeback

Theodora Vanessa Mathias: New subscriber here !!! Thanks for the tips

LVNCSR: So what can be done to thicken up hair especially the crown? Your hair is gorgeous!

BlackWomanThings: Super helpful!!!

Sable 711: Hair always looks great but I love that polka dot shirt you have on!

Awura Abena: I ran across your wash and go with Anthony dickey two days ago. The best time of my life. So informative. Since then I'm hooked. I ain't going nowhere. Anyway enough talking or typing. New subbie here

j harris: how does this method work with the daily wash and go? Aren't you stretching the hair with the twists? Thanks

she'sreallyintoit: My low porosity hair could never! She will wake up still wet and I'll have to use my hair dryer

Sable 711: I've really got to try that biotin serum and the melanin.

Jessy Morel: Girrllll, these tipssss are everything the hairrrr is everythingggg your routine is ON POINTTT what's your hair porosity is it low porosity can't seem 2 remember, your voice is soooo calming in the V.O

J J: Hi! Did you use aloe Vera gel or water?

Simply Shev - Grow Natural Hair: Thanks for Sharing ♥️

LA Reine Thé diary of a beautiful black woman: Gal I love your makeup !!

Daliah Abimbola: She reminds me of trace Ellis Ross❤️
