Cutting My Hair/ Bangs At Home (Short Hair)

I go back and i just make sure it's straight: hey guys it's becca in today's video. We are cutting our bangs and our hair at home with dollarama scissors that were four dollars: um yeah. We are all about saving money and doing stuff our way in no other way our way. Okay, i cut my hair every three to four months. I think everyone should cut their hair, just like a little trim every three to four months, just to give your hair a nice like little break and be more healthy. When you have breakage in your hair, it travels up the hair, so you're constantly always going to have breakage or hair that is snapping off or just not looking cute, because you can always tell when someone hasn't cut their hair for a while. Okay, i always tend to cut my hair every three to four months, because my hair grows really fast. Obviously, when you bleach your hair, your hair, uh you're gon na get some, maybe some split ends or breakage or whatever. So it's always good to just give your hair a nice little trim, even just like a little like you know, little inch or you know two inches or whatever i think i cut off about, like i don't know an inch and a half maybe uh around there. Just to give my hair a little bit of a fresh start, i did side bangs with my hair um so like. I can also make it like bangs. If i wanted to super cute right, but also i can do side bangs. They were four dollars. I'Ve never seen them. They look kind of bougie like they're, like professional scissors, they're, really small, but um. I was looking for a pair of scissors and my husky uh chewed, my scissors, that i usually cut my hair with, so i don't know how these are going to work out, they're kind of small, a little disclaimer, i'm not a professional. I just do my hair at home and i buy stuff at sally's and um. I don't go to a professional because i am the professional. No i'm joking, i'm not the professional, but i would rather mess up on my hair than someone else. Do you guys get it like i've had people mess up on my hair, so bad and kudos to you if you're a good hairdresser, i just haven't, found a really good hairdresser and every hairdresser that i've had has messed up tremendously on my hair, not bashing hair Salons or anything, but i am the hair salon, no okay, okay, people are going to actually be like this girl can she's not crying? No, i don't think i'm a professional at all. If anything i suck at hair - and i just like - learn the bare minimum of doing my hair for a couple years and um - i just like go with the flow okay, i i don't know what i'm doing half the time so just to make sure like the Hair stays in place, then i move it down a bit okay and then i do the other side um. I know i haven't posted in a couple days. I know i know um it's because i have not been really feeling that well, um i've been having like on and off like nausea, because i am pregnant um. So but good news, i'm. I think, i'm eight weeks pregnant now or something like that. I don't know something around there. I have my first appointment december 1st for my gynecologist super excited and i have been like having a ton of anxiety uh to get christmas shopping done. Is anyone else like that because it's a stressful season, but it's like the best season, but it's stressful. I just hate the like chaoticness like when you go to um a store. You guys know what i mean. Let'S see these scissors because um, oh, they actually work. Pretty good, but i think these are like eyebrow scissors also, if you don't have a pair of good scissors, you can really notice the difference, and i have like really really thick hair, guys like such horse hair that it's just i don't even know, half the time. If i'm losing hair, because my hair is so thick - and sometimes i thin my hair - because it's just um too thick and no one likes a really thick thick mane of horse hair um, because it's hard to work with, if you have damaged hair, guys use the Apogee, i know i always say this and i know i have like a lot of people that use the apogee, but i really really love me some good apogee. It'S amazing. It will not disappoint you. Okay, after i do this cut, i am probably not going to cut my hair for a little bit, probably like another four months. Is that straight? I can't even tell yeah these scissors are a bit too small. Scissors are expensive too guys, like scissors, can go up to like over a hundred dollars um for the other side, i'm going to do the same thing. I got these really cute clips guys from dollarama they're really cute. They were 1.25 for like three okay, so i do the other side, the same okay, so i'm just gon na cut upwards. How i cut my bangs is: i go sideways, okay and then what i like to do is shape it like that. I go like this because it gives a little bit more volume and texture, basically like layered bangs. That'S what i try to go for, and i literally just go like this going to strands and layering it. I know it's weird, but that is how i usually cut my bangs. I go back and i just make sure it's straight and then i go upwards. So it's not such a blunt cut and then i straighten it up a little bit more went through with a straightener just so you guys can see what i'm working with. I straightened my hair for you guys, so you guys could see like how i cut my hair and like the little like edges right here, that's kind of like feathered, um yeah. This is what i do. I feel like. I look like my mom. Oh my gosh, but i like doing sometimes like straight bangs and um side bangs. So that is why i cut it this way, because i can do both so, like you know, if i wanted to, i could do like this look. I usually like doing like this. Look with like your hair up in like a little bun super cute, and it's like that super cute right um. I have no oil in it. I'M gon na put some um oregon oil in it, but it just gave it a quick straightening job, so you guys could see if you guys want to straighten your hair. Before you cut your hair, i really highly recommend that it's always better to have dry hair when you're cutting your bangs, because your hair shrinks. Basically, all i do for my every couple of months haircut, sometimes i go full out and cut my hair, but most of the time i only do like a little trim so that my hair can start growing back nice and healthy and get rid of the dead Ends because, literally guys, your hair looks like totally different. When you give yourself a small little cut seriously, it makes the biggest difference um you just like look like you got a haircut. It just looks more refreshed. Your hair looks a little bit more healthier. I wanted to show you guys how i cut my hair, because i know there's a lot of people that are curious, how i cut my hair and want to see also for like the haters. They want to see if i actually cut my hair as well. So here you go bill um. Yes, i do everything myself in my kitchen or in my room or my bathroom dyeing my hair bleaching, my hair, doing everything to my hair um, because i can the best part of this whole cut. Guess what it is. It was free, it was free, it was free. I love youtube guys. I learned myself everything through youtube about my hair um. I and like also experiences uh with like not doing such a great job of messing up and like the colors and whatever there's a color wheel and whatever. But i learned almost everything through watching youtube and it's literally the best source i feel for learning. And if you want to know how to cut your hair, just watch a couple, youtube videos on it and know the kind of cut that you want. Sometimes it's not always going to turn out the way you want it to look, which is fine. We always have our mess-ups trust me. I'Ve had my mess-ups when i was starting to cut my hair, my first time, but you get used to it and it becomes like second nature. I feel like going slowly and cutting your hair is always the best advice. I can give someone go slow and cut slowly at a time to the length that you want, because if you go too high, like you're like okay, this is the length that i want. But you cut that much. But it's not even you're gon na end up cutting more so always go less. Uh is better! Okay, less is better other than that.
