Let'S see I was in the wrong show, laugh out loud, very funny. Gene welcome to the right show. I was on baby lights, very cool good to see you guys Erica good to see you see ya, so I was doing a few different things to try to get the show ready. So I want to share with you guys, so I got different camera angles now. We got an overhead camera angle which is super exciting, so that's kind of what I was putting together and I had a bunch of technical difficulties. So I'm glad that I actually got on here and we can do this thing together. So, let's get started, I want to share with you guys. Yesterday we did baby lights on a head of hair, so let me switch to that camera. This is the end result that we got. You can see how blonde she is. This was her previous color. Actually, I don't have one, this is how dark she was prior. So you look at that. You look at the difference. You can see how well it blended through how many highlights are actually in this thing, so super cool technique. If you guys want to check that technique out, then just go to our previous class on YouTube or go to the F se now app and you can see all of the the technique that we did. It was two and a half hour class. So, there's a lot packed into it. Glad you guys, like it Nina good to see you cool yeah. Look at that jeans, nice right, glad you guys, like it, alright cool! So here's what we're gon na do. I also toned it with a joy KO, quick, toner sand tone, because I wanted to give it that kind of soft feel to it. So that's what I did so at the shampoo bowl for five minutes. I just put it on there. Five volume sand toner from blonde life, joy, KO and it looks beautiful one more look at it. There you she's blurry there. She goes Oh, focusing on somebody else. Oh we're back we're back in oh yeah. You can see beautiful, beautiful, highlights alright. So now we're gon na switch things up. We'Re actually gon na be cutting this fun. Lady here see if I can lower her a little bit. Alright, we're gon na be cutting a bob on this dry, which is gon na, be really fun. Let me turn down her camera a little bit here there we go alright, so so on this mannequin. What we're gon na be doing is we're gon na be cutting a bob, I'm gon na. Do it dry, hair cutting style, so we're gon na be using our dry cutting scissors? These are the Mizutani Puffin scissor you see. If I can get focused in here, I'll hide my face. There you go so this is the Mizutani puffin great thing about this scissor. It'S got a fat wide blade which gives it tons of power when you go in and do dry cutting techniques. So that's what we're gon na be working on um. I want to show you guys kind of a fast way to cut a bob with bangs and do it dry, because there's a lot of times that you might have a client come in and you want to give them a haircut first and then color it. Maybe you want to take off some length first then color it. That would be a great addition to this cut and also to be able to create kind of a like more of a soft edge to the bob as well. So I can see you guys here in the chat. If you guys have questions, please let me know we also did this color on a previous class as well. So if you guys, you know, you want to see that, let me know or go watch it. Don'T let me know I'm talking about all right, so I'm gon na zoom in a little bit you switch to that camera here, alright, so here's what we're gon na do real easy. I'M gon na start in the very back. I'M gon na work a straight down center back just like this vertical parting and I'll clip that away. So I'm gon na slide my clip up underneath like this, and then I'm gon na work one side at a time. Let me move to this side. See would be the easiest for you guys to see here. I'M gon na go manual on my focus. Alright, remember guys the way that these classes work. If you have a question type Q and then put your question so Q and then your question and then that way I can see it in the chat and I can answer it because I'm watching the chat as I'm cutting, obviously one-man-show here today. So, just let me know if you have a question all right: okay, so we're gon na start by working diagonal forward partings throughout the head. So I'm gon na take my first diagonal forward parting. Just like this and I'm gon na pinch, the hair in my hands. All right, so I'm gon na pinch, the hair in my hands and what I'm gon na do is I'm going to start by working the scissor, half open, half close up the head so basically creating a sort of 90-degree kind of straight out from the head line. So if the head shape moves in like this, it's basically pulling the hair out, holding it in your hand and going through and doing that kind of tease cutting slightly. So I'm pushing in half closing the scissor to make my cut now. I'M gon na do the next section so diagonal forward parting again, like that, I'm gon na bring it into my hand, I'm gon na pinch it just like this over directing it to the previous section, I see my guide. I go through a half open, half clothes. Just like that, and I'm just gon na continue working from that occipital bone over to behind the ear, bringing everything over to me pinching it in my hand like this, you can see that's a nice shattered line, there's nothing like precise about it, which is gon na Make it fall nice and soft? You can also see that it's starting to get longer towards the front because of the over direction that we're creating so we're over directing everything to the center getting longer towards the front turn her a little bit back out a little bit so same thing, diagonal forward. Just till I get behind the ear here, I'm actually I'm gon na section that with a clip just so you guys can see it easier in there and what I'm gon na do. Is I'm gon na get a nice overhead view, so you guys can see zoom in there we go, so you guys can see exactly what my hands are doing so now. This diagonal forward parting has kind of turned a little bit more almost horizontal. So I want to be aware of that, as I'm cutting it. So now, I'm gon na take a little bit of that section. I'M gon na bring it in over to me just like this, and then I'm gon na cut up. So it's a half close look at that view and that's why we had to delay today. You did that view in there. So half open, half close of the scissor do the same thing next section over so now almost a traveling guide using the bottom. As my guideline, so I let the hair start to fall out and then I slide up cutting a nice soft line, I'm not so worried about the outer perimeter at this point on this cut. My focus is just working at interior, layering or the interior graduation that we're cutting so half open half closed all the way up. So now I'm going to over direct it slightly so just understand that I'm not following the curve of the head, I'm bringing everything straight back to me, just like this straight back from the head, not all the way over to the center, but just straight back see There we go so now a flip-flop to this camera, so you can see. Let me zoom a little bit, so you can see that kind of forward motion that we're creating we're, pushing the weight and length to the front. I'M gon na do the same thing. Take another section here: he was that a 45 degree angle, so Adele, it's it's not real. It depends on where we're at in the head shape. So in school. We learn a lot that 45 degrees is just to hold the hair here and then work. The haircut right, that's what we learn in school. For me, the head shape shifts it's a round surface right, so as the head shape shifts around 45 degrees changes. So it's 45 degrees like this is basically 90 degrees straight out from the head, because that's what the head shape is doing, but then, as the head shape peels when we get to about this point now, I think we're at about 45 degrees. So it really just depends on where you're at in the head shape and the angle that you create with your fingers, so don't get too caught up in necessarily that the whole thing is a 45 degree angle, just be aware, where we're at on the head shape And then cut from there, so I look at all right. I take this section. This is my new section of hair. I bring it over into my hand just like that, and then I bring it out and then I look at what hair am I gon na? Be cutting so right here this part of the hair, that's what I'm gon na be cutting so now. What is that angle going to be if I lift it up a little further it's at 90? If I lift it up a little further, it's at 90 and if I drop it, it's obviously less than 90. So now we're gon na start graduating. So, if there's not much of a difference so from this point here this is 90 degrees, see that hair coming straight out from the head there, that's the section I'm going to be cutting. If I drop it here now we're at about. You know between 90 and 45 and then I'm at a 45 degree angle right about here and then anything below that we're at zero here, which is gon na, be super heavy. So the key for me is to do this T's cutting technique, because that makes the shape nice and light, but then be aware of how this hair is coming out and how it's gon na fall and how soft it's gon na fall all right. So now I bring the rest of the hair over to me again, traveling across the back of the head, shape like that and then the same thing now, bringing it and directing it straight back from the head in this last section right behind the ear. So just like that all right, so we just keep continuing to build any questions so far. Let me see we jump over here and check our questions. Are you still using the Puffin yeah? So it's still the Puffin scissor. You can get this on shop FSE. If you guys need a dry cutting scissor, it's a great one. I think it's about 600 bucks, but we have a payment plan for stylists. Now, where you put 50 % down, and then you get you break the rest up over payments, which is really nice. So if you're looking for a dry, cutting scissor, definitely check it out shop. Fsc, let's see hello from California, any tips for getting comfortable with this cutting technique. Kendra! That'S a great question: um, let's uh! Let'S go over it I'll! Try to help make you a little more comfortable with it. Your scissors have to be newly sharpened. To do this technique, actually, no the great thing about dry cutting scissors. They have a little more of a slip to them um. So if you have a dollar precision, scissor, it actually kind of aids in the technique, a little bit better technique seems hard. Alright, so some of you guys feel is this like an a-line cut Veronica? Yes, it's similar to that. So as we go through it I'll kind of share with that that part with you but yeah, it's gon na be a longer front. You don't have to do that, but in this case that's what we're gon na do with it. Alright, so I'll share with you guys this technique a little bit more, a little more on how to do it and we'll actually, let's pop to the overhead - and let me zoom, you know even more here - go and with being zoomed in like this. This is literally over top of my head right, so this should help you guys out so another diagonal forward parting, we're basically at the division point of the head at this at this point here, which is where the head kind of splits in half flip that away All right here we go so I take a vertical section. I bring it back to me just like this. Elevation is above zero, so zero right here is straight out straight up towards you. Guys like this, I'm coming straight back, so that's gon na be my lowest degree of elevation on this haircut and I come through. So it's a half closed. So I push in and I half closed the more you kind of tease into the hair, the softer your lines gon na be so it's kind of like if you used a razor, the more back and forth with the razor, the more of a layered effect. You get the more with this T's cutting technique, so I'm taking the scissor like this and I'm pushing in and half closing so out push in half close back push in half close. So just like that, I work through the hair and create that soft line in the cup, and I work that whole section across the back that same way. So I'll bring it back to me just like this and I come through and it's a half-closed of this scissor now I'm gon na flip back to my other angle. Here all right, you can see how that's getting longer towards the front so that I'm at the division point. So now, I'm gon na flip and go to the opposite side here and do a little more cutting same exact type of thing. Before I was pinching and holding the hair like this, I'm gon na do the same thing about bring it to me on this side. So I see a few questions we'll go over those in one second here. Ah all right, awesome, Joseph I'm glad you like it. Ah see I'm just reading questions, so you over had him telling you. I know I've been working on it for a few days and had to figure out a couple things, and now we got it going my ear sound is not good. Today, all right so um are you using the Puffin yep, I'm using the puffin. He answered that while you're doing this technique, half open half closed. Do you also close and open the shears, because I tried this technique and it wasn't working. I am opening and closing the shears, but not all the way right. So it is a when I say half open half closed. This is full open right and then, as I push in I'm half closing, so I close the blade halfway and then I come back out, but I pull the hair into this part of the scissor. So let me kick over to see if I can get this. Oh, that's not easy! That'S like tricky there. We go all right, so let me flip flop over so I can show this technique to you guys, one more time, a little better. So as I come in here so now, I've seen my guide underneath and I pull kind of push in so the bottom of this blade is actually pushing up against the hair as it cuts. So that's how you work that line in a flipped all right. No matter how sharp your scissors, I feel like they run the hair Suzanne, I'm guessing you're saying ruin does not ruin the hair. I promise you that you're cutting each individual hair, just like you would normally biggest difference with this - is that I'm cutting this part here and then I'm sliding in I'm cutting the whole time. So it's cutting the hair, it's not grinding against the hair or anything like that. We'Re literally going in and cutting each individual piece. So don't feel like this is going to mess up hair at all. I would say: that's it's actually the opposite of that. So over here working that short too long, and I'm basically seeing my angle through here and that's how I go through and cut so I continue up creating that angle through the haircut. All right was that finale song - that's too slow, too slow. All right so still bringing everything over at this point and then I'm gon na start clipping away. So you guys can see a little easier so I'll comb this over and clip it away. Glad you guys are liking, it I'll go back up through your questions as we get to the end I want to. I don't want to stretch this class too long, but we'll definitely do Q & A at the end so working through now I've. I went from over directing everything just to get the perimeter line over direct everything to the center back and then, as I work outside, of the perimeter line more in the interior part of the haircut, then I start working on a traveling guide a little bit and Then, over directing everything back once we get over to the side, so those are just the the key things to keep in mind is how that is working through. So this will go straight back not to the center, but just straight back from the head shape. So I just watch how my shapes unfolding - it's one of my favorite things about dry cutting, is being able to really see it happening and right in front of your face here over directed back and then teased caught through. I get a little wider with my tease cutting towards the top in the top sections, because I want to soften that line even more so I'm a little more precise in the bottom, and then you can see that there's a little more movement and freedom that happens With my scissor, for this part cool cool, so those of you guys that are tuning in a couple things I want you to put in the chat things I like to see. Where are you watching from post that in the chat love to see that and then also, if you're new, to the show - and this is the first time you've ever watched - it type knew in the chat, so everybody that is people that watch everyday. I'Ve been doing this show now this is day 37. I believe that we do this thing every day. So if, if you're, enjoying the show or you're new to the show type new you're, an OG of the show, you can write og, that's cool to you, guys that are so dedicated. The show is really. It would have been pretty easy for me not to do the show today and just kind of say we had technical difficulties and things weren't going good, but I know that you guys are as dedicated to this as me. So I appreciate that and makes it fun to make sure I get it get it done. So you can see, look at the movement, the texture that's happening. We haven't even cut the front yet. Obviously this could be a trendy haircut just the way it is, but we're gon na go in and cut some more a couple. Other things I want to do with this all right see where we're at cool. Oh G from Nebraska. I love this hello. Seeing this this is fun all right. Let'S see new from Ohio, oh my god $ 600. Yes, gene that it's not cheap, but it's not uh. It'S the best right! Mr. Tony's, the best watching in Tennessee Erica awesome to see you upstate New York first time watching Tonya good to see you thank you so much Lori, 63 years old of gray, hair growing out and poor hairstyle just keep watching keep watching new and OH Idaho. All right, Scranton PA not far from me. I mean kind of a couple - a couple of little bit far not too far. Let'S see here, okay, so let's get back to cutting here, alright, so we're gon na finish this thing out now. What I want to do is I want to cut a fringe, so one of the really fun things to do with a fringe, using kind of a tease cutting technique which will be the theme of today's adventure here, I'm gon na do diagonal. You make sure I'm in line on all cameras here, go right here, that'll help. You guys see that right here on this all right cool, so here's what we're gon na do. So what I'm gon na do is I'm going to show you guys some of this on this angle. So what I'm doing is a diagonal forward parting just like that, and I might even just clip this out of the way just because you guys are watching in the salon. I would I wouldn't work without it cuz. I don't want to crease the hair, but it's okay here, so I take the hair. I bring it over to me just like this across the chair all right just like that, and then I'm gon na do a tease cutting technique depending on where I want this length to sit. So what I want is, I want a pretty short fringe in this. Why not right so! I'M gon na go right about the nose, so I bring it over to me. I twist it a little bit little twist and what I do is I twist it away from the face. So I take the hair, pull it twist. It away from the face once I get it over here then I come in and I do tease cutting into that piece and just work my way through it tada now, I'm gon na grab a little bit more hair. I'M gon na show you guys overhead here. So diagonal forward parting, just like that, and I bring this hair over to me just like that, and then twist twist twist over to me that little Swiss gives it a little extra over direction. So now I cut into it little war cutting again bring it over to me twist. I got to twist it up too much this time. I don't need two little. I don't need that much over direction and I go through, and this is fun guys, it's fun and it's creating really soft lines at the same time, I'll show you what it's creating in a sec so bring it over to me like that twist it once and Half open half clothes yeah, you guys are gon na, like this check it out. So we're creating this really soft fringe with all these layers in it. So super fun, I'm gon na do one more section, so I grab the hair, bring it over to me twist. It once it's not much to cut at this point, so what I'm doing is I'm just removing weight, layering the sides and then I'm gon na go in and cut my length afterwards. I didn't want to do that right away. All right cool now we're gon na. Do the top here or the other side, the left side so on the left side biggest difference here is that I've got my guy here, I'm not going to over direct too much, I'm just gon na kind of come straight out into it, and I'm just gon Na slide up underneath and cut just to connect the two sides together really like that create those layers. Let that link fallout, give it a little higher elevation here all right now, you guys can take a look, see we're out here. So that's the basis, and now something I want to do here is just start moving into my cup and do a little bit of slide, cutting a little bit of cutting around the perimeter as well, and that's how we're gon na work through this whole thing. Alright, so tilts her forward a little bit so now I'm gon na start working this perimeter line. You can see it's very broken right now. Some people, like it more of a broken, feel I like that. But I, like I've, talked about this before I like. A little precision lines in in my textured cuts just my personal preference, so I'm going to go in here and I'm just gon na start working. This line in you guys see what I'm saying see it. My daughter just walked in and saw that you were doing, and now she wants me to do her hair with this cut and color awesome sweet, so just working the tip of the scissor through I don't mind the Puffin for this, I'm probably gon na switch, though To a precision scissor, I like something a little just a little sharper doesn't push the hair as much when I'm working these lines in here. So I use the tip of the scissor to get the length off right, because the tip, if I go in with that it doesn't push the hair as I cut it. If I go in and try to just cut like that, as soon as I cut into it, it's gon na push the length. So if you use the tip of the scissor, it just works a little bit at a time that makes sense, and then you can go in and fine-tune your length after you get it where you want fine-tune your lying more than your legs. I guess better way to put it: manikins got shoulders. I have them very often so just working that line underneath instance. It then, once I get there kind of where I want it now, I'm gon na start drawing my line up and this I'll use my full cutting blade. Now the benefit of what we did before is that we cut this fringe and layered this whole thing, so it made this lighter, so that makes it easier for us to go in and actually cut this line now - and I left this disconnected, I'm not messing with That yet you can still see your guys chat, trying to check it out. Appreciate the nice words all right do the same thing opposite side here worked in that line. Most important thing is just to make sure you keep it balanced, cut one side way too high. Then that kind of starts a domino effect so now do a little bit more cutting through it just to shape it up a little bit so a little bit of a stroking technique. So it's an open clothes. This is a full open clothes. I'M just going to work around the shape just to take off any of these long pieces. I'M just softening over this top edge. We kind of caught everything from the bottom up before so now, I'm just going through. It'S got a good line to it, so I feel good about that same thing on the opposite side here is that called blunt or feathered? I don't know it sure about that question is a blunt or feathered. This would be feathered. I would say it's gon na have a little bit of a blunt feel to it, but for the most part, it's a feathered cut throughout so see that length right there just kind of hops off a little bit. So I go through a little bit of stroking technique just to take off some of those lengths. Those of you guys that want to see this think I think I'm seeing that in the chat. Let me hop over to the overhead and I can show you guys a little easier so here we pull the hair back and then this technique is a open and closed like this. So up open down close up open down close you close on the hair and then you throw it back so close and just keep moving it just like that through it, I take another section comb it back to me turn our a little bit section, bring them Back to me see my thumb, opening closing opening, closing that's pretty much all the back, all right, so I comer down and now I'm going to work gon na work, this line a little bit more in the back. Oh see, that's been all right. A couple little bits here, I'm gon na - do a little slide, cutting just to remove a little bit of this weight and length, because I want to keep that you know texture choppiness to it got there same thing on the opposite side just sliding through. So I pinch, I feel where that weight is, and I just slide the scissor through sometimes precision haircutting is super fun and then sometimes just creating texture and movement in hair. For me is like a lot of fun and, to be honest, my clients gon na have a lot easier time. Styling, a textured haircut like this, as opposed to a very structured bob that they have to make sure that they really precision cut kind of through it or they precision blow it dry and smooth it and all that stuff. This is a real, easy cut to go through and just have it more lived-in, curly straight whatever all right. So a couple of things. I want to do to finish this up, just smooth it with a smoothing iron, because when you take somebody and they have a little extra length in there and then you cut it all off that mid shut. That shaft, like at the mid point of the hair, is super straight and that's what the ends are now so I'm going to go through here. It'S coming back. We go here boom. Maybe camera died once one sec guys. Here we go lights, Matt's back Mike's! Back all right, so I'm gon na smooth this out back to this camera, Oh course reset there we go all right. So now I'm just going to smooth it out real quick and give it a little fresh edge to it, smooth it out over direct everything over to the opposite side. So here's a fun little tip for you to share with your clients is that if she wants to wear her bangs this way right, what I'm gon na do is bring it over the opposite direction over to me and curl it this way. So then, when it goes back, it leaves nice and soft. So it's curving this way out anything through this cut. I just want to a little bend to those all right. Almost there, almost there people almost there, especially in the back here. If you get a nice little bend to the hair after it's you've caught it like that, Falls nice and soft. Thank you to all you guys for hanging in here. All the new people hope you can join us every day. We'Re live. We do color cuts. Styles got lots of guests coming on next week. Doing some hair as well so hair show the future guys that's what this is about. Let'S see, thank you guys for sharing on Facebook hitting that share button about 500 people on Facebook alone. Yesterday'S show we reached 17,000 people by the end, so you guys rocked it appreciate the sharing all right. Oh, she can't take it anymore, all right so last little bit, I want to just give a little a little more twist and Bend to that branch. A little more to this edge here, all right, we're getting there all right so also, if you guys are wondering this color that we did, we did a color melting class a few classes ago. I talked about how to do this. Color Foley - and this is joy. Co, color intensity that we popped this nice pink tones into it, so make sure you check out that class, all right cool, that's good, all right! So last, breaking things! Okay. So this is the joy cove beach shake product, texture, spray spray paint, whatever you think so I'll just spray this throughout the hair here and what I'm gon na do is I'm actually gon na use. My ergo Diamondhead brush here available shop, FS e UD, the brush. Go get a brush. If you don't need a brush, don't go get a brush, so I'm gon na brush this product into the hair. Before I start messing it all up because a lot of times we don't get the product on all of the hair and that's kind of the key to getting the style that we're looking for right so and cool she's, looking cool alright. So now I can start to really bring that texture in volume in and let me stick. Some of these pieces add a little bit of no little kick little kicks and then this fringe. I want to move it out. I'M gon na twist it out a little bit that same thing here, just give it a little twist. Yes, all right, I'm gon na go through I'm gon na. Do all your questions. Thank you guys for asking them at the very end, I'll skim through them and not make sure I get to them the last little bit little hairspray. Look at her. How many of you out there like I wish this was I head all right. Thank you. So much thank you guys all right, so let me spin her see you guys can see. The whole thing see. Oh, look at that. It'S pretty cool, not gon na lie kind of like it way to end of Friday, got ta love when it works out. Sometimes you just pray to the hare: gods just pray, you start sweating and then yen and it's good. It'S all good all right. So let me answer some of your questions. You guys have post those in the chat, put a Q and then your question, I'm gon na wrap things up here. Thank you guys so much for watching this show one thing I want to say to you guys that, since all of you guys are on here right now watching live, I want you to go to the, especially if you're, a professional, stylist. Obviously, there's some people probably watching that aren't, but if you're a professional stylist, we have an app called FSE. Now it houses all of our education, it's free and there's a community. So it's basically, if you took Instagram and Netflix, made them all for hairdressers and put it all together in one thing: that's what it is. So I'd love for you guys to go, create a profile start sharing your work on there and I'm gon na play the app promo for you guys right now, so you can see what it's all about and then I'm gon na come back and do Q & A and answer your questions and then wrap this class up. So here is our app. Please go check it out. Let me know what you think I'll be right, back, pretty cool right, so FSE now go download it on the App Store. Also make sure that you guys send me a text message: two one: five, six, oh eight, two six one two just say hello and you know we'll start the conversation. I I'm live here Monday through Friday, everyday so I'll text you when I'm going live. Usually around 12 o'clock, that's the goal and I'll send you the link and then you can log in and take these classes for free. If you guys are looking for any tools or anything. Please go visit our shop shop, FSC comm. We don't charge for anything, but if you guys need combs scissors all the things you saw me use today clips all that stuff. Please go shop there. I would really appreciate it. If you don't need anything, don't go, buy anything but someday. Maybe you will and then there you go, you can buy it. So thank you guys for that. Let me go through some questions: real quick, um Ashley, alright. So let's start here Ashley my miss Italian oil pen is clogged any pointers for unclogging, I'm panicking um. I'Ve. Never had that problem, but I wonder if you took like a safety pin or something like that that would fit in the hole. Maybe try that I don't really know. But if you keep having issues, what I would do is reach out to Miss itani, because I'm sure I mean I would hope that they would help you out with that. So I definitely go go find them on Instagram Mizutani. I think if you just do Mizutani America, if you purchase them through us, go to Mizutani America and send them a DM and they'll write you back right away. Alright, let's see adèle, can you use number seven olaplex to protect the hair before the color? I haven't been, I'm sure, like you, can use olaplex to protect the color and in any facet. So I'm not sure number seven is new to me. I don't use. I haven't currently been using olaplex but um. So I don't know number seven. When I was using olaplex, there wasn't a number seven so, but I'm sure you can use it to protect the color for sure get a cold beer cool. Yes, it's Friday, I'm super excited to go. Enjoy the weekend. Can'T wait to be back here on Monday with you guys, I'm not really seeing too many more. Let'S see, I have a shear that has a blunt tip on it. The blade is thick in diameter. It cuts well, but is it a dry shear due to the blunt tip of this year? J could be um, I'm not sure without seeing it, but typically dry cutting scissors have a thicker blade, but there are some scissors that are not thick that do have a have that are thick and are still a precision cutter, but I would say, majority of them. If they're thicker like, if you see the difference between the Puffin and my precision, scissor, look at the difference in the size of the blade, so this is obviously the dry cutting, and this is the wet cutting all right cool get the brush anyway, people I have The they are amazing, good vibes. We'Ve got a good vibe song for that for that Tesla. Thank you. So much if you guys go on the F se now app and you look at Tesla's profile. Hopefully, she'll be posting some more work on there, but she put together a sweet profile on there and soon we're gon na have an update where you can search for stylist and connect with him even better, but definitely go check it out. Thank you guys so much. I see it: where do you get your mannequins? I get them at pivot point. So it's a pivot point mannequin this one. Actually they did send to me for free. So thank you, the pivot point. For that most of the time I pay for them. I spend a lot of money on mannequins, but it's really nice when they do send me some, and they sent me this, this lovely lady, a while back so all right cool. Thank you guys again, yeah 17k, Jean today, we'll see it might be more depending on how you guys share it, always check it out, always judge you guys, baby camera love, it's coming back, it's coming back. So how would you position the bangs if the client doesn't want to wear them, brushed to the same side Erica? So what I would do is I would, if she didn't want to wear them to one side only. I would not fully cut through the whole thing, and I would do that T's cutting on both sides and leave it a little bit longer and then she would be able to push it to either side. That'S like really the only workaround, it's still gon na be a little heavy on one side or the other, and I think it's always better. If somebody kind of decides what side they want to be on, but if they can't and they like flip-flopping, it then just cut it the same way. I did it, but do it both ways, all right, cool Adele? You can buy them at pivot points website. So just Google a pivot point and you should be able to find it. Alright, guys great show had a great time with you guys. All of you can't wait to see you on Monday hope you have an awesome awesome weekend and that's it. That'S it for us. Let me know what you thought of the show: we got a lot of new camera angles, a lot of new things happening. I feel like it's getting better all the time you guys are getting better all the time. So. Thank you. Please do me a favor if you haven't hit share yet on this show just hit share so that more people can get exposed to this and join us live every day. Hope you guys have an awesome weekend again and can't wait to see you guys soon. What do we say at the end of this show it's gon na be a great day. I'Ll, see you soon, gon na be a great day, see you guys chopping lipid spray, it flip it. I won't come this way. It'S gon na be a great day chop equipped it spray it flip it. Let me show you the way it's gon na be a great day chop, equip it spray, it flip it. I woke up this way. It'S gon na be a great day.

Z B: Thank you for another amazing video!!! You explain things so well, & as a student I understand it & have been able to apply so many of the techniques I’ve learned from your vids on my clients. You’ve definitely brought me to a level of cutting & confidence I didn’t think I’d be at before graduating.

Kirsty Macfarlane: I'm not a hairdresser but I love watching your videos for inspo haircuts! I think what you do is amazing. You're a very selfless person to take the time and effort to educate other hairdressers, a lot of which probably won't get a lot of the training that you're giving them, whether that be in school or a salon. I admire anyone who is prepared to help others for nothing and I've got so much admiration for those who want to self educate and be the best they can at what they do. You're a good and kind person Matt. Forgot to say that I absolutely loved the end result! Beautiful cut

Fawn Peterson: I'm not a hairstylist so what could I describe to my stylist if I want a cut just like this? I love it!

Heather Sheffey: !!! I’m in New Hope, too !!! First time watching and I can’t believe you’re right around the corner ❤️ This video was amazing thank you

shiela amoroso: So love the hairstyle and the color. I love watching your videos. I am learning somehow and apply it to my daughters.

Melissa Dunn: What a beautiful color as well as style!

Possibly Human: This cut is everything!

Lora Myers: I missed the live chat unfortunately but love the cut! My hair is fine but there's a lot? Is it impossible to pull off with such soft fine hair? Please be honest as possible. Don't wanna end up looking stupid as I'd feel FN it up! Help

Nezumi6: OG-Love from NYC! This is my Dream haircut!! Well done!

H K: Hey! I was wondering if you anything about a French Layered Haircut? I got it done overseas several years ago and it was the best haircut I've ever had, but no one in the States seems to know anything about it...it would amazing if you could do a video about it. Great channel!

La Gatita: Pretty color and cut. Hope your salon opens soon!

Alison Kirishian: Id really love to know tips on what haircut /style will look best on a person given their head and face shape. Could you do a short video on that so we can help clients that dont know what they want but are open to any style?

graciela pilar vilte: Hola ,cortando hacia atrás ,contra del cabello ya estaríamos personaliza y logrando una concavidad el corte, puede ser✂✂

ann marie Murphy: I really learn a lot from your videos

Lora Myers: Plus I'd eat hair all day, well spit hair, hahaha! And it's like hell in the San Joaquin Valley in summer, ugh! Hair is pretty long so looking for a easy style to maintain and keep cooler than the hot mess on my head now. I'll send pics? Lol

Gizeth michael: Hi. I love your videos. Where is your salon? What city, what state?

Manila S Samek: Thank you Matt.

Juanita Vargas: Im anxious for my hair stylist to do this hair cut onced my stylist open up her shop im dying to color my hair. Covid19 go away forever

J O: Why don’t you clip away everything you are not working with? What does tease cutting do that straightforward cutting wouldn’t do? Are you creating graduation in this hair cut?

zhel adriatico: Really like your technique,

Cecilia Fortes: Good job friend

Sandy Thornhill: ❤❤❤
