I am so sorry i am untethered unhinged. If you will. I know no bounds at the moment and usually when i'm in this state of mind, i like to make impulsive decisions. I literally woke up this morning and was like curtain bangs. Yes, so here we are. I am going to give myself curtain bangs because, like i said, i am unhinged and i need change. I need some change now. The reason i want to do it myself is because uh i am a strong, independent woman and also i don't feel like going in salon. So now, aside from giving myself curtain bangs, i am gon na give myself a trim because look at this, my hair is just like it is not thriving. These tips they're dead. No, but yeah. These tips are fried and then they are full of split ends and i'm kind of upset, because this is the longest i've ever had my hair ever look at this. This is the longest it's been ever and i [ __ ] up. If you're trying to grow your hair out, you should give yourself a trim every so often just so that the split ends don't keep breaking all the way up. Your hair, but like i didn't do that, it's okay, though, because honestly, i'm gon na fix my split ends. I'M gon na give myself a little trim and then at some point i'm going to fix split ends. I don't care what science says. I don't care that the expert says there's no such thing as fixing split ends. I will be the first person in history to do so. I will be a visionary, a pioneer and, if not, then i'm gon na eventually chop off my hair, but until then curtain bangs it is all right. So i watched a brad manzo video as one does when they're feeling unhinged. So he said your hair should be super straight if you're gon na cut it at home, and my hair is pretty straight, but i feel like it could be straighter, so i'm gon na go iron. It and i will be right back all right. It is straight. I'M not gon na lie, it looks kind of healthy now right, no, no, no, no wrong. No! No! It doesn't look at these tips. You'Re, not fooling anybody. These tips are dead all right, so i have a lot of false confidence at the moment, which i don't think is a good thing, but i mean let's get right into it. Shall we all right? So he said you have to find your apex or something which is like the highest point of your head. I don't know how to find that, but he just put like the brush on the the top of the head and was like there. It is i'm just gon na say it's here here we go separated into four sections damn, but this is like a lot of hair in the back. No, not [, __ ] no come on. I want to do a good job so like where the [ __ ] is the apex all right, i'm just gon na stay here i mean i literally picked the same spot, but all right whatever, so we're supposed to tie it up without pulling it in any Direction so, okay clown, that's clown, [, __, ]! No, no, all right! I'M just gon na use this whatever. Now, let's do it on the back? Oh boy! No! No! No! No! All of a sudden, i forgot how to tie a hair tie. Okay, no like. Why am i forgetting how to tie my hair okay? Here we go nope. Okay, let's try this again. Oh i could. I could tie it like behind my hands: okay, okay, actually, let's, oh! No, that's not right and also my hair is falling out. You know what it's just gon na have to do. Who cares? Clearly, i don't if i'm cutting my own hair, so the other side there we go. Does that seem even to you? No, but like honestly, both sides of my hair are like actually not even because last time i cut my hair was myself so all right, let's just get into it all right. You know what i'm just saying get to this, because it's not working i'm just gon na use a silver one, because it has a better grip all right, so you're not supposed to cut like straight across um. So then, how else do you cut so we're just gon na do point cuts? Oh my god, i have so much dead ends: okay, they're, like goodbye! Oh, my god, i caught i cut. There'S like not even room for me to point cut. I guess we're gon na have to go shorter than that all right. So let's just put it up here and then just point cut. Okay, all right! It'S fine! Let'S do the other side! Okay, let's just point cup, all right, all right! So they're, not even we're! Gon na have to like cut a little more here, just do a little more okay good enough. Now, let's do the back. Oh boy just go for it point cut okay, next side. Here we go okay, let's see! No! No! No! No! Oh my god. What did i do all right? I think i did a decent job i'll know the [ __ ], you didn't for somebody that doesn't know how to cut hair. I think this is all right. Let'S just fix that right. This is as good as it's gon na get all right. Should we try curtain bangs now, all right here we go. I didn't really look up how to do it, but like at this point i just want to do my own thing all right, so i think you have to do a v. Probably. Does that look like a v to you uh? No, look at that! That'S not a v jesus. I don't even know how long i want them. I feel like seeing how bad of a job i did with the trim. I think it's my best bet to like not go super short. Okay. Here i go. Those are not even bangs. I'M like now paranoid all right: let's go shorter, all right um. What is this? No, why are the? Why is the front longer than the back? It'S not supposed to happen. You know what i'm just gon na cut it the way i used to cut it. I look so funny right now, i'm just gon na cut it the way i used to cut my hair. Oh my god, why is there a part like all the way from the back? No, this is not good. All right, i'm just gon na cut it. The way i used to cut my hair back in the day also it's shorter than what i thought, but back in the day i used to just go like this and, like just cut diagonally, oh my god, there's split ends even up here. That'S a lot! It'S good enough: let's see the damage. Oh boy! Oh, it is short. You know what my hair was damaged, so who cares that it's not looking good? At least some of the split ends are gone. I have split ends like up to here, but at least some of them are gone and it's like kind of blunty like the cut is a little blunt, so that makes it feel a little healthier, which is a great illusion to the reality that it is [. __ ] dead, i feel like i need to just like, maybe cut a little more should i do that. Look at this all right, let's just let's just we're already here - might as well just needs like a little. You can see all right. That looks a little better and then over here cut like the soap. You know this is just gon na have to do i'm gon na wash my hair because it's dirty and then i'm gon na blow dry it and then see what that looks like one long shower later, i'm back all right. My hair is nice and washed clean and i will say it felt different as i was showering because, like when i washed my hair, you could feel the thinness. You can feel the thinness and you can feel the thinness, but uh this time around. It felt nice and thick up the tips, which was a good feeling. You know it might look jacked up, but it felt good anyways all right. Let'S do a hair product haul of everything i use on my hair. Uh number one this you can get this at cvs, walgreens target, i think, or amazon i'll link this in the description or in my amazon shop, but uh. This makes your hair feel really nice. On top of this, i use monet. Rejuvenique don't come for me. I know that they get a lot of hate. I made a video on them, but uh listen. I like some of the products, so i use this only on my tips, though, because if not, it makes your hair like super oily all right. So, let's see the damage of what i just did, you know it is what it is. I'Ve accepted my reality and who knows it might look good when i blow dry. So let's, let's blow dry it. I am so sorry all right. I might have curled my hair a little too much, but this is what it's looking like. It'S feeling nice and they're somewhat even like my haircut, is somewhat even, which is what one can only hope for. I actually accept i i accept my haircut, accept it. I'M accepting reality, it's not the best, but it's my best. I did my best and i am okay with my best, because i have no other [ __ ] choice but um all right. So look at the back. It'S it's even ish right! It'S even-ish! I'M i'm genuinely happy with the results i kept the length i tried. I attempted the curtain bangs or the curtsy bangs, whatever they're called it looks, it looks it. It is what it is and it's it's not bad. You know it could have been worse. It could have been worse, i'm feeling good, i'm feeling myself new hair who dis. I think i might pierce my ear because my third hole just closed um and i want to re-pierce it and last time i pierced my third hole.
