Hey guys, it's your girl, jenny and today we're going to talk all about the different ways to style your curtain bangs. So i have a few methods, but before we get started, i want to talk about my hair. I just got my hair cut about a month ago during the holidays or right before the new year's, and i asked for a wolf cut. A wolf cut is basically a shaggy haircut with a lot of layers, some curtain bangs in the front, and i asked him to cut my bangs really short but super wispy. So i can just like pull it back. We'Re gon na start off with a hair straightener, because i have it here with me. So, let's just get started while that heats up we're gon na get our rat tail comb and we're just gon na brush out our hair. So we know which part and section we want to use for this, and i'm just going to section out like my bangs and then just a little bit of my front hair. My hair is extremely layered, so we just have to section it okay, so i'm just going to show you a easy method to do your creatine bangs as a hair straightener is not necessarily the healthiest method to do your front hair. But since i have like really thick and coarse hair, this doesn't seem to kill my hair but make sure you use heat protectant. Like my other previous video, i uploaded about the rollers, i'm just gon na use my redken heat protecting blood jelly. Basically, there's two ways: you can do this, so we're just gon na grab the top of our bangs. Essentially, you grab your hair at the roots like this and you're. Just gon na want to make like a c curl down like that, and it's kind of like roll it in place to get all of your hair across the roller. Is that and then it's going to settle down, it's not going to be as puffy as that. But essentially it creates this like puffiness right here that it's gon na settle down throughout the day. But if you want, like your bangs, to be more in the front of your hair like this, this is a cute method to use and you can just brush the front of your hair like this. This gives you like that little front poof, so you can style your curtain bangs into like a front bang wispy situation. If you want it, um super cute look, but let me show you a different way if you guys have like really short bangs. Like me, i would honestly just section it out, especially because this kind of haircut has just so many layers, and it's really hard to get all of this, and this at the same time. You just want to take this or as much as you can on the side and you're just going to roll. It outwards like this, make it easier for your roller and you're. Just gon na hold it get a little more define the curl than the one way, because we have short bangs we're going to take this much of our shorter part of our bangs and just curl. It outward like this and then get your hair roller brush you're. Just going to hold it in place, so you can connect and then now we have more defined bangs to the side than we did with the last method. Just because my wings are really short and they're just in the fall, no matter what. So if you guys have really sharp bangs just section out your hair into like couple pieces in the front and yeah it ends up. Looking like this for the side pieces, you don't need to use a roller brush, but you just need to make sure it goes to the side. Because again, our bangs are just really short, and then i like to hold it in place like this, especially if it's not that hot do like a little layered look like that. It'S definitely way more put together than the other method, and it takes out. All of my front pieces, especially if i don't want like things in the front, i think this is definitely more of a mature look than the front things. Any sort of front pane situation kind of gives you a younger, almost kid-like, look okay for the next method. I'M just gon na wet my bangs a little bit just so it kind of goes away. I just wet my bangs we're just gon na use a hairdryer this time, anyways um with the wet hair, i'm gon na show you guys the first method first, which is you know, just doing it to the front, especially if your hair is thinner. I would not use a hair straightener, because hair strainers cause most damage and a blow dryer will relatively keep your hair healthy compared to a hair strainer. Also, i only keep it on mid heat because i don't want to kill my hair. While i do this, the hair dryer gives me a fluffier look just because my hair is frizzy naturally, especially when it's wet, so it gives me more of like a tousled. I call it my dog oliver look, but i'm going to show you guys the other method, i'm not going to do the full part of it. I'M just gon na. Do it to the side, because it's not gon na work for my hair but feel free to try that method, especially with um, longer curtains here again to do the next method. I could totally smell my hair dye because i'm filming it on my phone too. So i'm definitely doing it another time, so we're just gon na evenly separate it down the middle again once it's sectioned off just brush it, and i get annoyed of the hairdryer method because you have to do multiple times for it to come out like this. But this is how it comes out, and i really like it gives you like a little curl at the end and just makes your bangs longer than they actually are. Okay, we're done with the hair dryer now so in an effort to not kill my hair any further. I'M just going to show you guys one of the methods from the rollers. It'S pretty much the same exact way you just have to decide. If you want your bangs coming to the front or the side, so yeah 60 t3 a brush dryer. So what this does is turn it on here: the wind and heat just kind of encapsules. This part of the hair dryer. You don't need a ruler brush anymore, because it's already there, it's definitely worth it, especially if you don't want to like use a hairdryer too often or you just you know, don't really know how to give yourself the blowout um. This is probably going to be the easiest method to do um. It also works on dry or down hair, but to get the best effect. Obviously, you probably want it to be a little damp because it is still like a hair dryer and you get like the same effect as the hairdryer just super easy to use again. It works this way that way. This way, literally, i use it for everything and honestly, this is just going to be the easiest method to use it's not going to replace your hair dryer completely, because it does give you a lot of damage because it is a ceramic plate. The hair dryer is just going to be a little less damaged than this, but definitely this is going to be way less damage than the hair straightener. So you have thin hair use this or the hair dryer do not use a flat iron to blow out your hair. I won't use that because my hair is super thick. I'M going to start with the velcro rollers feel free to watch my video from last week to get an in-depth look of how to do your blowout with the rulers, but i'm going to mess with this part anymore, we're just gon na. Do this part, you need to get a hair dryer and a ruler, and just you're gon na just have this on now for the next minutes, or so want to keep it on your head, and we will see how it comes out and essentially, if you want A longer hold you're just going to keep the rollers in, but since we're just going to use another roller method, i've recently take it out, but i recommend keeping it in your hair for at least 15 minutes, especially if your hair is thin. I would keep it on for longer. This is how it came out here, um. What i would do is just get my roller brush and just kind of fluff it up a little more especially, and it makes it like a very fluffy vein look and you can also do it the opposite way and it's gon na you know make your bangs Go that way, but i will show you with the t3 hot rollers the other way. So, let's just get on with the video. The t3 hot rollers are finally ready to go. This just gon na take a little tiny one right here and we're gon na roll. It back on this one and i ended up just doing the size just to make it super curled back uh, because this one's going to end the curl bag. I'M going to check in with you in about, and i'm just going to check in with you guys after five to fifteen minutes, um just keep it on as long as you want again the longer you keep it on the longer the cold is gon na last Um, this method is just gon na be easier than the velcro rollers, just because your hair doesn't need to be damp and you don't have to use a hair dryer, and you can literally just use this and keep it in for less time anyways. This is how the hot roller curtains look like again. You can do it to the front and it'll give you a different look, but this method is really easy to do. It does give you a bit of a crazy curl look, but i feel like for blowout. It'S totally fine and it looks really fun and voluminous and it does settle down throughout the day, but this is going to give you like an all-day hold that a lot of the other methods. Besides, the hair, strainer is not going to give you, so i definitely recommend um getting these hot rollers if you're really into doing blowouts really easy to use okay. So this is how my hair looks like with my full hair down. I ended up just brushing the blouse that i did just making it softer. I love soft luminous hair. It just gives me like all the hollywood glamorous type vibes. So that's the kind of look. I know it's really trendy right now. So that's the look.
