Now, here's a great way to achieve a balanced angle in the front. From short to long, have you ever cut one side with an angle and then tried to cut the same angle on the opposite side? This is a great way to do. It falls into the category of twist cutting simply separate front to back on both sides, but to back on both sides, comb, the hair forward towards you, bring your comb underneath and I'm working with our large cutting comb working with the wide teeth. Once you have that hair combed forward remember twist cutting let's start with our cutting hand. First, I'm simply going to establish my hand where I want the length come through point down left hand comes directly over that continue to twist to the left comb through and come through and cut a horizontal line working with the dry cutting shear. Once you release you'll, find you have the angle working from short to long on both sides, and you have been able to create that on one cut once again, working with a dry cutting, shear and twist cutting, remember you're left-handed your left hand starts point down right Hand comes over and continue to turn to the right, great technique. Hafi Yousuf: This is such an easy way to do face framing front layers. I recently graduated from cosmetology school and honestly we were taught things the old school way. Of course that has helped me a lot in order to understand the basic, the geometry of haircuts and all other techniques, but honestly these updated techniques are way easier and quicker to achieve the desired look! Thanks for such lessons, sir!

mae4boo: I followed this tutorial and it worked beautifully. Great way to freshen up layers during the quarantine.
