All right so you've all seen this very, very popular haircut before and a lot of you want to know. You know i've got very fine hair. What are the best haircuts for me? Well, believe it or not. This mannequin right here has pin straight super super fine hair. The mannequin just happens to have a good i'd, say, average to a little more than average amount of hair, but the hair itself is fine, so fine, hair, actually in my experience, responds very well to certain types of products and styles: again, you can have a ton Of hair, but the individual strands themselves are very, very, very, very fine. What you do want to make sure is that you're able to do a style or have a style that gives you um flexibility, that's going to be able to hold its shape, because sometimes the hair may not very easily it may tangle. You know it may not like hold as much but believe it or not. I'Ve also noticed that fine hair can hold longer than maybe, if you have super thicker, hair or coarse hair, because the fine hair just binds together to itself - and it's like holding on for your life to this - it's neighbor strand and it wants to stay in place. So tidal wave in my opinion, is probably the best freestyler you can get for fine hair because it does thicken the hair a bit and it does help the hair kind of bind together to itself so that the uh, the style, can actually stay in place. And it's easier to manage and maintain so fine hair. Like i mentioned it's very workable, so haircuts like this, that you're able to really you know, get a lot of volume by styling. Okay, it makes the appearance of having it fuller, so anything flipped up in the front anything where the hair comes down to maybe about here, like kind of a mop top haircut undercuts, can work very, very well short kind of more cropped hairstyles because you can use Like a talc metallic powder, or you know, products to help kind of make, it appear a bit thicker and it's also easier to manage what you really want to be careful of is when you start going into styles like some like ones like these. Okay, if you've got very, very fine hair now again, you can have a ton of fine hair and easily get away with something like this right or a little bit shorter, or something like this. That'S totally fine, but if you've got very fine hair and it may be thinning, that's a whole other story. I wouldn't suggest doing this because the hair is just going to weigh itself down and it may cause your scalp to show a bit more, and you know it may not be as easy to style it again with something like this. This may actually work out better for you or having it short, where you can spike it up and mess it up. Something kind of like this right throughout the top here may work much better for finer hair, because you're able to kind of camouflage some of it by adding some texture. Okay, so sometimes shorter, is a little better uh. Even for you know, women's hair, maybe like a medium length or shorter chin, lathe bob, sometimes layers can actually be very difficult to work with if the hair is very very long and layered, because you may not know how to properly get the volume. That'S once again, tidal wave is very important. The brush you use the products to help, get that volume and to support the style. So you really have to work on the styling techniques that you can really help lock in that style, but the finer, the hair again, if you have a lot of hair, then you you're, okay, believe it or not. Just because the texture is fine doesn't mean it's gon na be in rough shape. It'S just that may look, as you know thick as something like this, but you can make it look thicker again with products. So you know fine hair. Really you have to be careful of using anything, that's oil based or very, very heavy in the sense that, because that can really weigh your hair down, it can make it be a little bit greasier much easier. So you have to be very careful with the products that you're using okay, because they can really have uh the opposite effect of what you're looking for. So let me know if you found this video helpful. Please share any tips you may have with other viewers who have finer hair so that they can get some other insights. So thanks so much for watching and i'll see you soon. You

mrcandypants: fine hair peeps like me: do not use traditional products like gel, pomade, wax. it just make ur hair look thinner and greasy. go for clay, paste, mousse, sea spray, thickening spray

Jon Murphy: I have really fine straight hair and I've experimented a lot the less product you use the better. I always try to use a matte clay or paste and hairspray and blow drying is your best friend if you want volume instead of it just falling flat. It also takes a lot more effort some people think that oh straight fine hair is the easiest to style and it's really not it just wants to fall flat that's why I blow drying and freestyler is really good for straight fine hair.

john atkinson: I do have fine hair, but I've found also that I have thinning toward the back. Any recommendations? Been trying to grow more toward the front to slip backwards

Judy Blake: First off you are the best. I applied for your new? Salon 6 years ago. Amazingly you did write me back. I would still love to join your team I am looking at your tips for fine hair, nobody has ever cut my hair right! Fine hair takes skill and perssion. My blonde fine hair has been chopped soo many times, I just trim the ends myself now. I really wish you would consider me joining your team. I am Sassoon Trained & been here 40 years. Your videos always inspire me. XO Judy Blake

Metin Cinai: Please more Fine hair videos. You are a hero

Humble Bear: Very good suggestions. I would like to cut my hair to the style @2:47. What are the lengths of this style throughout? Thanks!

Lucas Chalk: Could you do one for thick hair?

Le Man: Great video as always man

WyGuy Gaming: I just bought your 25 spray it’s really nice I recommend

oloxhossono: I have curly super fine hair that looks brittle one day after washing. It looks great after a wash but I just wear a hat in between washes. Any tips for products?

RuckTheTruck.22: This video comes in clutch, I was talking to my barber literally yesterday about if I should try and thicken my fine hair with nioxin, but I’ll give this a shot before I try anything.

JøãøPR Søusa: Make: How to do Austin Butler hair!!!

BJD 5000: DO ROBBY KEENE HAIRCUT SEASON 5 please

mrcandypants: i have fine hair and literally have the hair u said not to have guess ill have to change it

Bill Kimpel: Can you do a john Ritter 70s tutorial hair cut.

Silas Reister: Do have any product suggestions for fine hair that is very dense and wavy?

m0lky: can you make a video of the new haircut of miguel diaz season 5

The Digital Story: i have fine flat and thin (but not thinning) hair. I know it's not thinning because it has always had the same density since I was a kid. I wanna go for a longer hairstyle because of my face/head shape which I guess goes against your recommendations. Could I get away with it by not using product and thickening shampoo?
