STRAIGHT CROCHET USING ONE PACK OF BRAIDING HAIR: https://youtu.be/LFh7dtyHQ9I

Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel if you're new you're welcome, so in today's video i'm going to be doing a short, crochet braid with a deep side part. So if you want to see the end results of this crochet braid, please keep watching then also the brady pattern i used in this video. I have a video on that, so i will put the link in the description box down below so be sure to check it out so right here before going ahead to cut the extension i'm going to have to measure the length. I want the first two braids on the back to be so after that i'm gon na go ahead and separate the hair. So right here i separate enough hair for two braids for two braids. So now i'm going here to measure it out, so i started by measuring like a five inch, just the same length i measured before and after that, i'm going to fold it uh fold the hair over in order to get two inches. Sorry, in order to get 10 inches, so you want whatever you measure you want to times it like times two. So that way, when you well do the crochet, braid you're gon na get the length you want for your worm or your braids. So after cutting the hair, i'm gon na go ahead and pull on the ends to give me extra length. So i didn't cut all the braiding hair extension just because i wanted to want to measure the length i want for each braid as a crochet along, so that will help to maintain the exact length i want for the entire hair, okay and uh. So the first two braids on the back is 12 total of 10 inches unfold, so 5 inches fold over that give you 10 inches. So the next two braids is going to be 12 inches and then the next two after that will be 14 inches 16 inches and just keep increasing it until you get to the last round to the last braid on the on the back section. So to do the crochet braid pass the crochet hook through the braids and then hook the hair pass it through. So, instead of using your fingers to tie the knot, you're going to be using the crochet hook so just hook the hair pass through the loop hook, it again pass it through the loop and then pull on the ends of the hair to secure it in place. I'M going to show you guys one more time pass the crochet hook through the braid one minute, pass it through the braids and then hook the hair, pass it through the braids again hook the hair pass it through the loop hook. It again pass it through the loop and then pull on the ends to secure the braid in place. So, like i said earlier, you want to keep increasing the length of the of the hair as you crochet, along in every two braids. So two braids will be the same length so in every two braids you're going to be increasing the uh the length until you get to the last braids on the back section. So right now, moving on to the front, i'm done with the back section right there. So i'm going to be repeating the same thing on the front section, so i'm going to go ahead and measure out the length i want for the um for the first two braids on the side, so i went ahead and measure it out. Mine comes up to seven inches so times two that gives me 14 inches so um. I i went ahead and cut out the 14 inches, pull on the end, to give me extra length. So whatever the length you want, your brace to be, you want to make sure to times do that so that way, when you're done doing your crochet braid you're going to get the exact length you want for your your crochet braid to be so for this session. We'Re going to be cutting enough hair, uh, braiding, hair for four braids, so two braids on the right side and two braids on the on the left side. So you want to make sure to cut enough hair for that and also doing the same thing. Increasing the length as you crochet along since mine is um. What, since the first two braid is 14 inches. The next two braids will be uh 16 inches. So you just want. You want to keep increasing that until you get to the last braid. So for the knotless method, you want to hook the hair, pass it through the braids, so you're only going to hook half of the hair pass through the loop, okay again pass it through the loop and then pull or both ends while securing it in place. So i'm going to show you one more time hook the hair pass it through the braids hook on the half of the hair positive through the loop look at the green parts through the loop, then stick a puller board and to secure it so for the mist Color right here i missed the uh, the color 30 and the color 2 together and oh, and i also have a video on that and um how you can mix two or three colors together to get your desired um hair color. So the link also will be in the description box uh down below so be sure to check that out. So next we're going to be working on the bank. So to do that, we're also going to be repeating the same thing right here. I'M going ahead to measure out the length where i want the uh the banks to stop so right there, four inches for that times, two that give you eight um eight inches. So when you're done doing your crochet braid you're gon na get the exact plenty. While you want your crochet braid to be - and you also want to repeat the same thing on the front for the bang, so you want to increase it increase the length in every two well in every two grades until you get to the last style until you Get to the last break so for the highlights on the bangs. I only use the colored hair for two braids, but you can use it on the ends of three or four braids. If you prefer that i only want it might be like a little highlight. So, that's why i did it on just two right on the yarn on the front so right here, i'm working on the last braid for the bangs and also you know using the knot less matter. So that way, when i'm doing doing the crochet braid, it will give me the uh, the invisible part so doing the same thing. You'Re only going to be passing half of the hair through the loop to get the uh to get the invisible. So before going ahead to cut the hair short, i'm gon na first of all go in with a hot dog, with a hot comb to comb the hair and also to reduce the volume on the hair. So um right here, i set my uh hot comb into medium heat. You don't want to go, go in with the full on high heat that will match the hair and also when you're, using the medium heat. You want to uh. Be careful don't place it there for too long that will match the hair, even though it's on medium heat, if you leave it on one space for too long, it will match the hair. So this is the finished result before going ahead to cut the hair. Super short, but i feel like you, can just leave your hair like base and then cut it the next week to switch it up. So the next step now is to cut the hair. So before going ahead to do that, i'm taking the hair band and putting it into putting the hair into a ponytail making sure it's tight, but not too tight to the instant of the hair pulling on my scalp. So next i'm going to go in with a sick on the hair band and i'm going to place that two and a half inches away from the first one, and once that is done, i'm going to take my scissors and cut off the end. So next time going back in with the scissors to reduce the length on the front, i want it to be off the shoulder a bit. So i'm just going to go in and cut it a little bit shorter and um. Be careful not to cut myself because this can be a little tricky, so i just tinted my neck, a little bit to the left or to the right. If i'm working on the other side, so you just trim it. So here is the back section. I'M happy with the length i don't know need to do any trim any extra trimming on the back so, but i'm gon na do a little trimming on the on the bangs. All right. We are almost done now we're just going to do a little bit of a touch up on the front, so i'm going to be curling the uh, the bangs away from my face - and i set my uh my flat iron into low heat. I don't want to make the hair, so i'm going with a really low heat, so i'm just going to curl it away from my face just like that and right now i'm going to have to do the last one, just curl it away from your face there. You go. Thank you so much for watching and uh.
