Hey you guys welcome back to my channel it's best to get four hands. Today'S tutorial will be on my BOB box braids. I will be using a lighter, a comb, rubber bands, scissors and expression hair. This is the 84 inch hair, some edge wax so soft for 8 and some hair food, which is some grease. First, I will put my hair in a ponytail and I will part it from one side to the other. A straight line then part down to form a square sheet. The reason box braids are called box. Braids is because the shape of the part is in a square or in a box as you call it and that's where they got the name box braids. Now I part it, then I greased my scalp. Yes, I like using least some people don't like using grease because they say close up your pores, but because my stop is very dry. I need the grease oil. Yes, oil is fine, but if I use oil I will have to pull all your own every day and I'm too lazy for that. So, yes, I don't have a technique per se of how I breed, but I know that I don't separate the hair in half. I just take the hair, put it over the top of my hair and my real hair becomes the third strand. I braid it down a little, and then I add half of each strand. That was the fake hair into the Strand. That was not real hair to even the braid out. Now you can see how even it is. I braid it past my hair and then I used a rubber band to seal the ends. Then, just to be sure I took some hair off the middle and out the bag to measure to make sure that when I get to the top I won't be braiding or cutting my hair. So, on the other side, I also measured it to the first side that way both side can be close to. Even now to the front, I put some edge wax on my edges and some grease all around the outside at the part. Now I didn't put the part really small on the edge. I know some people like that clean or like close together. I just but no usually that is not safe from my hair. I already have thin edges and when you make those parts so small, with thicker amount of hair, that hair tends to weigh down your edges, and that is one of the reasons why your hair will break now, because I have, but so many I have to save The rest of mine, so when I did my hair, it was about midnight when I started and I didn't get done until like 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning now I was so exhausted, but because I was already in the flow of thing I was like. You know what I'm just going to finish my hair, because I'm not trying to spend two days on my hair. I just want to get it done and over with so here I am on my last three behind the lead. Everybody will sleep. It'S like 5:00. In the morning I'm exhausted, but I was happy to get it all down. Once I got done, I took my scissors and cut half of inch past the rubberband. I did not dip it. I did not burn it. However, if I were to do this doll again, I would probably dip them Here. I am now adding jewelry. You know I can't do a style put out some jewelry after a long nap. I was back refreshed and I know you can tell the difference yeah Here. I am doing my edges. I put some setting lotion on. Typically, I will put the setting lotion before putting the jewelry, but because I didn't have it the night before I had to step out to go by so yeah, so I'm puttin the setting lotion and just taking myself out, and then I noticed this, the badges. Ladies, you can't just put as wax on just one side: you got to do both [ __ ]. Ladies, but yes, now it's looking real good and I try to change it to the other side, but yeah, it's too fresh for that I'll leave it on the side just for now. So here are a few pictures that I took. I really really liked it and I hope you did too hey guys. Thank you for watching. So these are smart. Please, like and I'll see you guys with the next video
