black women natural hair natural hair journey woc

Don'T hi guys welcome back to my channel, it's laura andreas, so i'm giving you guys another natural hair, video. Your girl is going to start by using this new hair oil, and i actually got this from sephora it's from fable in maine, and it is used as a pre shampoo oil. This was actually my first time using it in this video, and the one thing i can say about this, for my first impression, is that it definitely helps with activating my roots and making my hair feel like it has so much more body in it. So i just did part of directions on the bottle, and i just sectioned off my hair and put the oil in my parting and then also wrapped it through my hair in on my edges, and i can say that this smells amazing. You guys, like it, smells so good. Now i do let this hair oil sit in my hair for about 30 minutes on the bottle. It says between five minutes and overnight, so because that was my first time using it. I just did 30 minutes and i'm not going to rinse that oil out instead, i'm going to use my as i am jamaican black, castor oil, water and i'm going to spray that, through my hair, just to wet my hair a little bit. And then i'm going to use my cleansing pudding. This is absolutely my favorite shampoo. I do use like regular shampoo like once a month, but in between my washes. I do use a cleansing pudding, it's kind of similar to a co-wash, but it's just a moisturizing shampoo. Instead of stripping all the oils out of my hair, because your girl definitely does need it, so i like to use a shampoo brush to activate the hair on my roots, and i also will use a brush to comb that shampoo, through my hair after i've rinsed Out that cleansing pudding shampoo, i'm going to use this heat, protectant oil - and i guess you can kind of say it is like a hot oil treatment. I love this oil. I showed you guys this oil in my other natural hair video, where i straightened my hair for the first time and i cut my ends and i'm just showing you guys this product again, because i've been using it since honey. Okay, i'm just going to put that heat protectant oil all throughout my hair and then i'm going to use some conditioner from as i am from their long and luxe line, and i absolutely love this conditioner. It smells amazing - and it also just brings so much moisture to my hair after i've, distributed that all throughout my hair. I'M going to put a shower cap on and let my conditioner stay my hair for an hour and then i'm going to rinse it out and then now we are moving on to the styling blow-dry portion of this video. So i'm going to take that as i am jamaican black castor oil water one more time to spray throughout my hair and then i want to take this lemongrass leave-in conditioner and after that, i'm going to take some edge repair oil. These oils in general. I talked about it all the time throughout my last natural hair video, but i said all throughout that video that i used so many of these oils from this line, because this lime is the truth, it is factual. You can see it in the oil and it really does work, so i do use three different types of heat protectants and the first heat protectant. You guys see, was in an oil form and i did put that into my conditioner, but the second heat protectant. I'M going to use is from ozzy and i do blow dry my hair on cool the first time and the second time that i'm going to be blow drying. My hair is where the aussie heat protectant comes in because it just does a super good job with moisturizing my hair, but not making my hair too wet, and this is the time where i'm going to blow dry. My hair on hot heat don't mind that little speck of lemongrass conditioner on the back of my neck, because you're going to see it in a couple of these scenes and i'm just going to brush out my baby hairs. Because i want to see where my baby hairs start and finish before i move on to straightening my hair. Now this is going to be the last heat protectant that i use it's actually from erica j. She is on youtube in instagram, hey girl, i've been using her products for forever. I'Ve been supporting a girl for the past, like two years since, before she even came out with her own line, because her products are amazing. So i do use that sheen heat protectant to spray throughout my hair, because i want my hair to be extremely moisturized before i move on to straightening it and the flat iron that i'm going to be using today is from eap heat. If you guys don't know about eap heat, i don't know what rock you guys have been living in, because it is so good on natural hair. It'S like the only flat iron that really works. On my natural hair, i would say my hair type is 3c 4a. You guys try to say my hair is that quote: unquote good, hair all the time, but my hair can be a little bit rough sometimes, and i need specific products to bring out those super pretty natural, curls and body to my hair and when it comes to This flat iron, it is honestly the best for natural hair of any hair type. So i'm just sectioning off my hair in super thin sections, probably about half an inch and i'm just going to use that eap heat flat iron to go all throughout my hair. To make sure my hair is nice and straight and silky honey, and you guys can see how much my hair has grown since i lash trimmed it a month ago, as well as the different products that i've been using in my hair. You guys please go and check out my recent natural hair videos, because i have been taking you guys on this entire journey since the beginning of me, shaving, my head, bald and you guys can see a huge difference in my hair. So so now we're moving on to the track portion of the video and i'm going to be using this super cheap hair from saga and it's their brazilian remy hair, and this hair literally matches perfectly with my natural hair and before we put these tracks in i'm. Just going to section off a very thin section of hair and use that eap heat flat iron just to run through my hair, to make it straight, and i got bangs y'all, i'm going to take this 30 second salon pro super hair barn glue and i'm going To take off a section of hair that i cut, and i will show you guys later on how i cut this section, but i'm just going to take that small section of weave and put the glue on the hair and blow dry that for 20 seconds now. This glue does dry pretty fast. They say it dries within 30 seconds and when they say that they're not lying, i'm just going to blow dry it with my blow dryer for 20 seconds and then put it on my hair on my actual parting and blow dry. That again for 10 seconds - and this is how it should be looking yo and i'm just going to do the same thing until i get to about mid section of my hair just parting, my hair straightening, my hair, putting the glue on the track and then putting The track on my parting - i'm just going to do that until i get about mid way of my hair is is is last time. Oh, but oh fire keeps us after. I have all my tracks in to give me some length and body. I'M now going to just trim that fake hair to blend in with my natural hair and i'm being careful to not cut my actual hair. My hair is growing y'all. We are getting some length on this hair, so i'm just going to be careful to not cut my hair but have the tracks blend in with my natural hair so that it looks so believable. Yes, and if you guys are wondering where i'm getting this hairstyle from this is a hairstyle i've been doing for years. Since i first came on youtube, this was honestly the hairstyle that i only really knew how to do. When i first came on youtube about five years ago, i did come on with short, pink hair y'all. My hair was super short and i did have a natural hair journey back in the day, but it wasn't as healthy as it is now, and this was the hairstyle that i used to always do because it was like the hairstyle. I could really only do because my hair was so short so after i have cut and trimmed the weave and the tracks. The way that i really like, i'm just going to take that eap heat flat iron, one more time to run that through my hair and the weave to make it blend in even more. And if i have some areas where i feel like my tracks are a little bit too long for my liking, i will just trim a few pieces off to make it blend in a lot more mmm foreign. Now, i'm just going to pull out a little bit of my baby hair on each side, just to give a little bit of extra-ness to this hairstyle, and that is about it. You guys this is like i said my go-to hairstyle that i've been doing for years now. My hair is finally long enough to be able to do this. I love the fact that my hair has grown back so much y'all, because now i can just take it back to 2007 2006 era of laura and do those short hairstyles again and i honestly feel, like short hairstyles, are my favorite hairstyle on myself. Wigs be given. Sometimes, but sure hairstyles on me are just everything, especially now that my hair is so full and thick for those. I want to come at your girl talk about what girl your hair is not even long for me. The fact that i shaved my head a year ago - this is long for me, y'all, and i also i'm gon na show you guys how you can take your tracks out in the most healthiest way possible for those that are wondering about that as well, and i'm Also, just showing you guys how the hair looks if i do brush the hair back and you guys can see that no tracks are showing and it looks so real. So this is about a few days later and my hair is so oily y'all. It'S now time to take these tracks out and the healthiest way to do it, in my opinion, is taking the salon pro 30 second remover, and i'm just going to put that on the inside of my tracks. Let that sit for about 30 seconds and then it just literally comes right out no problems and i don't have to tuck my hair at all. So this is pretty much the end of the video you guys thumbs up this video if you guys really miss my short hair tutorials, and you guys want to see more from me. Thank you guys so much for watching can't wait to see you guys in my next one and bye guys.

My mum and sisters hair is straight, so my mum never knew how to take care of it. My dad has very curly hair but kept it short and he never did my hair. When it is wet, and i condition it, i get ringlets, but once it’s dry it’s so puffy and shrinks to a much shorter length. Does anyone have any advice for me please? Also this is a great video on how to straighten curly hair, because when i cry straighten mine it remains poofy and not sleek and shiny like yours.
