Hey guys welcome back to my Channel today, I'm going to show you how to do a French braid step-by-step for beginners. I am going to repeat myself a whole lot in this video, so you're more than welcome to just mute me and just follow along to the video instead, so let's just get into it. The first step is to take a small section of hair in the front that looks sort of like a triangle and then split the hair into three equal sections. So now you have a top strand, a middle strand and a bottom strand then cross the top strand over and into the middle then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle now you're going to add in hair to the braid. So move all of the strands over to one hand, I hold the hair like this, so the bottom strand is held by my pinky. The middle strand is held by my middle finger and the top strand is in between my thumb and my index finger. Then you have to pick up a new section of hair right next to the top strand and then add it to the top strand then cross the top strand over and into the middle. So now we have to add hair to the bottom strand so again, move all of the hair over to the other hand, and again, I'm holding the top strand find my pinky. The middle strand is held by my middle finger, and the bottom strand is held in between my thumb and index. Finger then pick up a new section of hair right next to the bottom strand and then added to the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle then move all of the strands over to the other hand, and again the bottom strand is Held by the pinky, the middle strand is held by the middle finger, and the top strand is in between the thumb and index finger then pick up a new section of hair and add it to the top strand now cross the top strand over and into the Middle again, move all of the strands over. To the other hand, top strand is held by the pinky. The middle strand is held by the middle finger, and the bottom strand is in between the thumb and index finger then pick up a new small section of hair. Next to the bottom strand and then added to the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle again move all of the hair to the other hand, and then pick up a new section of hair next to the top strand and add it To the top strand then cross the top strand over and into the middle then do the same on the other side. So move all of the hair over to the other hand and then pick up a new section of hair next to the bottom strand and add it to the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle now move the hair. To the opposite hand, and pick up a small section of hair next to the top strand and add it to the top strand then cross. The top strand over and into the middle then move the hair to the other hand and pick up a small section of hair and then add it to the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle again move the hair. To the other hand, and pick up a small section of hair and add it to the top strand, then cross the top strand over and into the middle, now move the hair to the opposite hand and then pick up a small section of hair and add it To the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle again pick up a new section of hair and add it to the top strand then cross. The top strand over and into the middle then pick up some new hair and add it to the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle then pick up some new hair next to the top strand and added to the top strand, then Cross the top strand over and into the middle now pick up a new section of hair next to the bottom strand, and then add it to the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle again pick up a new section of hair and Add it to the top strand then cross the top strand over and into the middle again pick up a new section of hair and add it to the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle then pick up some new hair. Next to the top strand and add it to the top strand then cross the top strand over and into the middle then pick up a new section of hair and add it to the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle. Now pick up a new section of hair and add it to the top strand then cross. The top strand over and into the middle then pick up a new section of hair and add it to the bottom strand then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle. So because we're getting to the back of the head, I'm going to refer to the strands as the right one and the left one instead, so the top strand is the left one and the bottom strand is the right one. So pick up a new section of hair and add it to the left strand then cross. The left strand over and into the middle then pick up a new section of hair and add it to the right strand. Then cross the right strand over and into the middle again pick up a new section of hair and add it to the left strand. Then cross the left strand over and into the middle again pick up a new section of hair and add it to the right strand. Then cross the right strand over and into the middle now pick up a new section of hair and add it to the left strand then cross. The left strand over and into the middle then pick up a new section of hair and add it to the right strand. Then cross the right strand over and into the middle then pick up a new section of hair and add it to the left strand. Then cross the left strand over and into the middle again pick up a new section of hair and add it to the right strand then cross the right strand over and into the middle, and because I'm really good at filming this, you can't really see what I'm Doing here, but if you're still watching that, I'm pretty sure you can guess what I'm gon na say. So we finally reached the nape of the neck and when there's no more hair to add in then just braid the hair, like a normal three strand, braid and secure it at the end with an elastic, and I will leave a link to the ones I'm using Down below so there was this little piece of hair that decided that sticking out of the braid was the way to go, and I did not agree. So I took a bobby pin and just pin the hair back into the braid to hide it, and that is how you do a French braid voila. So all you have to do now is to braid the other side. So you have two braids and I'm not gon na talk you through all that because to be honest, no one want to hear me talk anymore, but I'm just gon na speed out this side a little bit.
