Hi guys Today, I'm going to show you how to do this, really pretty mermaid braid.. So I'm going to start off by doing a lace braid. To do a lace braid. You only want to add hair to one side, so I'm just gon na add it to the top side.At. The moment, i'm just going to take a section of hair and divide it into 3 even pieces. Then i'm going to do one normal braid stitch.. Then I'm going to add a small section of the hair to the top strand and I'm going to cross this over to the middle and I'm not going to add in hair to the bottom strand just cross this over to the middle. Again add a section of Hair to the top strand cross it over to the middle., Don't add any hair to the bottom strand just cross this over to the middle. Again add a section of hair to the top strand cross this over to the middle.. Don'T add any hair to the bottom strand just cross this over to the middle., and I'm going to repeat these steps until I reach the middle of my head. Now that I've reached the middle of my head, I'm just gon na go back and pancake my braid To make it nice and big., Then I'm going to just continue to braid down normally without adding in any hair.. I'M going to tie my hair off and repeat these steps on the opposite. Side.. Now we're going to do a lace braid on the opposite side again, and I just and I just love lace, braids. They're, just so pretty. Again, I'm going to add a section of hair to the top strand and cross this over to the middle.. Don'T add any hair to the bottom strand just cross it over to the middle. Again add a section of hair to the top strand cross this over to the middle.. Don'T add any hair to the bottom strand just cross this over to the middle.. Then again, I'm just going to pancake my braid and finish it off.. Then, when you are happy with how your braids look, you just want to join them together as one big braid.. Now I'm going to do a mermaid braid., So I'm going to take two large sections either side of my ponytail and i'm going to divide them into 3 even pieces and i'm just going to do one normal braided stitch.. Then I'm just gon na cross, the outer strand over the middle strand, and this will become our new middle strand and i'm going to add a section of hair from along the hairline to this.. Then again, I'm going to cross the other strand over this, and this becomes our new middle strand.. Again add a section of hair to the middle strand. Cross, the outer strand over this.. Now this becomes our new middle strand.. Add a section of hair to the middle strand. Cross, the outer strand over this - and this becomes our new middle strand. Again add a section of hair to the middle strand. Cross, your outer strand over this, and this becomes the new middle strand.. So again, you just want to add a section of hair to the middle strand and cross the outer strands over this.. Now I'm going to turn the braid around just to make it easier to braid and i'm just going to repeat these steps. So I'm just going to add hair to the middle strand and cross the outer strands over this. Then. Finally, when you've added in all the hair that you'd like you can go back and pancake it., That's what I did and tie it off and that's our finished.
