Hey guys it's Jackie and welcome back to my channel. So in my last video I got a ton of requests to do a hair tutorial on the hairstyle that I was wearing and I actually did a tutorial a little while ago. I did a tutorial, but it was featured in a video with many different hairstyles. You know how I do a bunch of hair tutorials in one single video, so it I featured it in one of those kind of videos, but I decided to just do a dedicated video on this hairstyle, since so many of you were requesting it. So that is what I'm gon na do today. So if you guys are interested in seeing how to achieve this, hairstyle then just keep on watching before we jump into the video. If you are new to my channel hi, my name is Jackie or you can call me Jack Jack. Make sure you hit that red subscribe button, so you can officially become part of the little flower family and you won't miss out on any upcoming videos and, if you're interested in more hair tutorial videos, I do have a full playlist of all the hair tutorials I've Ever done with all the different kind of lengths of hair that I've had from my pixie haircut to my micro beaut extensions to my BOB, all that. So if you guys want to see that playlist with all those hair tutorials, I will leave it linked in the cards and in the description box, for you guys so without further ado. Let'S go ahead and jump into the tutorial. Seeing my hair, like this just makes me realize that my hair has actually grown quite a bit since my pixie days. Here'S getting long, hey, anyways, so to get started with this hair tutorial. All you're gon na need is a hair tie literally, that's it. You can grab some bobby pins just in case you mess up and like they're the hair sticking out of place, but really you just need a hair tie and that's what I love about this hairstyle, because it's just so easy. You don't need much. You just need your hands and a hair tie, and then I have some extra products here that I want to share with you guys just in case you might need it not. Everyone will need this, but just in case so I have really thick hair. You guys already know that so I'm able to create texture really easily with my hair, but for those of you with thin hair who struggle to get that texture, I would recommend using a texturized hairspray like this one from way it is amazing. This one is so so good, so I would just spray this near your roots and that's gon na help give you that texture and hold on to the twists that we're gon na create and then, if you have dry hair, which now I have very dry hair, I love using the OGX weightless hydration, coconut water oil. This stuff smells amazing and it's so great for dry hair, especially for the ends of your hair. If they get really dry and then also again, if you have dry hair, you can use the ojon rare blend oil moisture therapy. I'Ve been using this for years. It'S amazing and this I'll just put like on the ends, because my my ends are so fried. As you can tell, so that's really all you need, so let's go ahead and jump into the tutorial I like to brush all of my hair to one side. This is the side I like my braids on so I'm going to brush everything over like that. So what I'm going to do now is grab a section of hair like a pretty small section of hair right by my ear and then slip that into two okay. So we have our two parts right here. All we're gon na do is twist them together, like that and then pick up more hair and add it to each section. So we've picked up more hair on each section and now we're going to twist again and it's not going to look like much right now, but just keep repeating that same process. So I use my thumb and my index finger on both hands to just pick up. Little sections and then twist again, what you want to do is take the front section and twist it back every time, so pick up more hair and then take the front section and twist it back to the loops. And so I'm just going to keep repeating this process all along just kind of following the shape of my face and then once we're at the nape of our neck. We should have all of our hair gathered into the twist I'm going to keep picking up hair, twisting it picking up hair to sing it. So once you're done with, like the top of your head, you can start taking your thumb and dragging hair from the back of your head to bring it forward and add it to your section like that. So now that you've, wrapped all your hair in the twist, you have these two sections here at left and if you just keep twisting it around it's going to unravel. So what we have to do is create a rope braid to keep it all together. So with your two sections, you want to twist them both forward towards your face and then once we have that we're going to take the front section and twist it back. So we're going opposite ways and that's what's going to keep the twist holding in place when we secure it with a hair tie, so it won't unravel throughout the day and then all we have to do is secure it with a hair tie now. So here is what it looks like before. I do any kind of adjustments to it. You can totally leave it like this, but you guys know I love my hair to be a little big and voluminous. So what I do I hold, I don't know I kind of just hold like right here and then I start to gently tug on these little twists around the top of my head and that's just going to give it some volume and shape you want to be Very gentle with the hair right here, because it's just it can easily come undone, so I'm just carefully pulling some of the pieces. So I don't know if you guys can see this on camera but see how I have this little hair right here, sticking out. If that bothers you, you can take a bobby pin and just secure that puppy down. You can even pull the twist a little bit. That'S right here, this little rope braid that we created just to get some more volume. So that way, the thickness of the braid. Just blends, I sleep throughout the entire thing, so you don't have like one section, that's skinnier than the other and one that's more voluminous. You know what I mean and again you can leave it like this, but I like to take it another step further and I will take care right from the edge of my hair and just grab all of my little baby hairs to frame my face. You can grab just a little bit. You can grab a lot whatever you want. Now, I'm just going to take a little bit of my oil. This is the ojon rare blend oil. I'M gon na take a little bit of this on my hands, rub it through and concentrate this right here on this little end, because it's so dry, it looks like a little broomstick and then I'll kind of touch it on the hairs that are framing my face. Just so, it's not so dry and just kind of touch through my twists, and that is basically it. So that is how you achieve this twisted rope. Braid hairstyle, look. I hope you guys enjoyed if you did be sure to give it a thumbs up, don't forget to subscribe, and I will see you guys next time. Bye,

J Belcourt: So I've never learned how to do anything with my hair aside from like, leaving it down or in a ponytail, its naturally curly and very very thick (I straighten it most of the time). I just wanted to thank you, your hair tutorials have helped me so much! It was my new years resolution to learn to braid or do -anything- with it and I know once I practice more it will just get easier, but when your first learning urg fingers and arms and the attempting anything you cant see!? nothing seems to want to cooperate lol. I know Ill get there, but again thank you, I try something new every other day from your vidoes and some times it works and some times it doesn't haha but Im going to keep at it. I did this one today, and after like 5 attempts I got something pretty close to what you showed us! And I got lots of compliments on it when I was out shopping, so just yes thank you for being awesome and putting in the time and effort to share with us! <3 I really hope you have luck with your dogs too, its just heart breaking but keep your spirits up!
