One of fall's hottest trends? Leopard print! In this video I'm going to show you how to do two types of 4-strand braids (woven braid and rope braid) in which you can incorporate your leopard print scarf. I've seen them everywhere so it shouldn't be hard to get your hands on one.

I have made videos on both braids in the past but this one teaches you how to braid it with a wrap-around scarf. This does take practice so you will get better with time :) Good luck!

If you are still having trouble with the second method, watch my first video on it. You'll get a better view :)

Hey guys in this video, I'm going to show you how to do two types of four strand braids, and I'm also going to teach you how to incorporate a scarf so that it looks like it's wrapping around the braid. If you guys would like to learn how to do this and keep on watching first, I'm going to brush my hair and make sure there aren't any knots using an elastic band, I'm going to gather my hair to one side and tie it. Then I'm going to divide my ponytail into four equal strands and I'm going to label the strands one two three and four and from here we will just be weaving our hair, so just grab strand for place it over strand. Three then, under strand two and over strand one, I know this is confusing. I should have worked the other way around working backwards, so strand four goes over strand three under strand two and over strand one, so it's always over under over okay. So one more time, strand four goes over strand three. Then it goes under strand two and then lastly, over strand one and then you would go to strand four again and continue to weave until you reach the bottom of your hair. One of the most important things to do for this type of raid is to have a good grip of all the strands. So if you have a good grip than your braid will look nice when you've reached the end, grab an elastic band and tie it off. Then what I like to do is just tug on my hair to give the braid more volume so just remove the elastic band on top carefully, and this is your completed braid, and this is what the braid looks like up close. As you know, leopard print is very in this season. I'Ve got a leopard print, bow a leopard print headband, and I also have a couple leopard print scarves I'll be using the skinny one today to incorporate the scarf into your braid. You want to tie your hair first with an elastic band, then grab your scarf and slide it through your elastic band. Now I'm going to divide my ponytail into two equal strands and arrange the scarf so that it's scarf hair scarf and hair. So it's alternating, like so, and I'm going to weave my hair exactly like how I did earlier so take start or place it over strand three under strand two and over strand one. Now the hair strand, four, I'm going to pick it up place it over strand. Three under strand two and over strand one and now we're back at the scarf place it over strand three under strand two and over strand one now that you've gotten the hang of this just continue to weave your hair until you reach the bottom grab, an elastic Band and tie the end of the braid, because the scarf is long, I'm just going to tie the end into a nice bow. This is the four strand woven braid, with a scarf going through it, and I learned this technique last year through bubs beauty and I've been hooked on it since so I hope you guys, like it too, so the second type of force drum braid, I'm going to Show you is a little bit harder and I have already done this on my channel, but I'm just going to show you again. You want to brush your hair and make sure there aren't any knots, grab an elastic band and tie your hair to one side. Then I'm going to divide my ponytail into four equal strands and I'm going to label the strands strand. 1. 2, 3 & 4, and this part is going to get really complicated. So whatever you do just follow what I'm doing and label your strands too. So what I'm going to do is focus on strand 2 & 3 in the middle and I'm going to grab strand 3 and place it over strand 2. So now that they're crossed I'm going to reach for strand 1 and I'm going to wrap it over strand 3, then I'm going to let go stern 1. So now these two are the focal strands in the middle. Now I'm going to reach for strand 4 and place it over strand 2. So then I have the two strands in the middle again, I'm going to reach for strand 1 place it over strand 3 then reach for strand 4 place it over strand. So strand 1. Always goes over strand 3, while strand 4 goals over strand 2. You continue to do this. It does look complicated, so just follow it by the numbering and you'll eventually get in when you're done. Your four strand, rope braid, should look like this not going to show you how to incorporate the scarfs in here, so that it looks like it's wrapping around the braid. So what you want to do is grab your scarf and slide it through your elastic band and just pull it through. So pull it all the way through until the scarfs are the same length like this, so it's not assuming with your horn. There you go so now you're going to divide your hair into two parts. So now this is strand one. This is strand two three and four, and in order for the scarf to appear as if it's wrapping around the braid, it has to be in this order. So it's scarf hair, hair and scarf and now you're going to braid it like how I just showed you, so it takes drag 3 place it over strength. So now it's crossed over strand. One goes over strand, 3. Ok! So now let go of this dress. So here are the focal strands again so grab strand 4 place it over strength. To let go of this then strand. One goes over strand 3. Strand 4 goes over strand 2. So I'm going to continue to do this and, as you can see, it's wrapping around very nicely. So when you get to the end, grab an elastic band and tie your scarf and your hair and then wrap your scarf around the ponytail and tie it into a bow. Here'S the completed rope braid with a scarf wrapped around it. I hope you guys enjoy all these tutorials and I'll talk to you in another video bye. You
