Box Braids On Short Haircut: Rubberband Method

Hey guys welcome back to my channel and if you're new, I'm Nick Lynn and today in my chair, I have a wonderful childhood friend of mine, who's gon na be getting some medium sized box, braids she's, currently growing out a tapered hair cut the sides and the Back were completely shaved, so now she is growing her hair back out. Unfortunately, she does have some damaged areas, but in time we will work with that and try to you know, nurture her hair back to better health, but in the meantime, before we start this journey, we are just gon na go ahead and do this protective style. So for this style I will be doing the rubber band method and basically I'm using this method, because her hair is different lengths in different areas. So I want to make sure that I have a consistent base throughout the style. I am just gon na go ahead and speed through this, because I do have other videos on my channel on that show how to do triangle - part box braids, so that will be linked down below in the description or just click on the little card in the Right-Hand corner so guys on another note, I really need some help with some giveaway ideas. So now that that's out the way, let me go ahead and get into the hair specs, so she has fifty braids in total. The hair that I use is the Vivica Fox 3x braid, which is their expressions brand. I used five packs of color 1b and then I also just used a couple pieces of the color number 27. Now I have to say this is my all-time favorite hair. I use this hair in almost every video. I use this hair for just about every style regarding feet and grades or box braids. So you know I really love the texture. I believe it has good coverage, especially when you're doing like the tucking method. It has good structure and it really is my favorite hair to use, I mean look at this transformation.
