Hi guys welcome back to my channel is theresa andrea, so this video is going to be so special to me. I'M going to be introducing you guys to another braided wig that i'm going to be wearing today on my channel. I did the rainbow pop smoke. Braided wig, probably about almost two months ago - and you guys said you guys - wanted us to continue to do um braided wigs like that, because it just gives you guys a good creative spark, a good, creative idea to do um. So we decided to come up with another half and half braided wig. All right. I will be introducing that wig a little bit later on in the video. But first i wanted to talk about a new product that i am so excited about. So i'm going to be introducing you guys to the new erica j lace, hue lace, tint it comes out today. This video is being filmed the day beforehand. So today is october 6. It does come out october 7, but by the time this video goes up. It'Ll be october 7th, so she did go ahead and send me all three of her um new lace cube tints. So let me just go ahead and grab them for you guys. So i do have all three of the lace tints. I do have light brown um. It also does come in medium brown and it also comes in dark brown. Now i will. I did go ahead and spray all three of the colors on this paper, towel off camera. So right here you have dark brown right here. You have medium brown and right here you do have a light brown light. Brown is like a tad bit faint to me, so i don't really know exactly how this color will look like on an actual lace um. I already know from top light brown just a little bit too light for me. Usually, i will go more for the medium brown or the dark brown, but one thing i have noticed that when i do use a darker color, that's literally almost my complexion like dark brown, pretty much be like my complexion, but i have noticed that when i do Use a darker tint, that's almost like directly my skin tone and then i go to put the lace on 90 of the time and it ends up being a little bit too dark for my skin tone. So lately what i've been doing is going for like the lighter tone, which is going to be the medium brown, so honestly, first impressions, i'm going to be telling you guys how i feel about the size of the bottle. I'M also going to be comparing it to other lace, tints that i have used in the past, and i also will be comparing um the way that the lace tint sprays out, because that to me it's like a huge factor, because i've used some lace tints before Um that i really don't want to talk bad about, but i feel like i've used other laces before and the way that it sprays on the lace is a huge determining factor on it. I like the product or not because if the product sprays directly in one spot too much, it will stain that part of lace that dark so to me personally spraying the products on the lace and how it sprays out the nozzle is everything to me. The first thing i'm gon na do is just tell you guys about this sizes, so erica j's lace hue does come in 8 ounces, which is 235 milliliters. I do like the true match. Lace conceal. This is the product i've been using. Lately i've been using this a lot of times in my videos um for the past couple of months, but i did end up running out of the actual color that i like to use. But it doesn't say how many ounces is on this bottle. That'S actually kind of odd, i can say i feel like this product has a lot more in it than this one, and this is the wig gurus lace tint, and this was like the first lace tint that i ever started using on my channel. I feel like this was like the one that was circulating on the internet, and everyone was pretty much picking up me and this size comes in 150 milliliters. So to me i feel like this has a lot more of the lace product in it than this does so i really want to say that this is probably a lot uh smaller in milliliters than this one and the erica j. So, as far as pricing, i know, lace hints are pretty pricey um. This i feel like was about 40. This i feel like was kind of like the same. Like forty dollars. I don't exactly know how much erica j is going to be um listing her lace. Tint for as far as pricing, but what i can say is i feel, like her prices are very affordable when it comes to all of her other products. Now i don't know the exact price of this yet so do not quote me and say you know, quote anything, i'm saying right now, um, but one thing i can say is for all of her other products like her home-me-down adhesive spray for her skin guard. For her homie down adhesive, i feel like she gives you a lot of product for the actual price. So to me, do i know what the price is going to be for this? Yet no do i feel like it's going to be very expensive. No do i feel like it's going to be a good bang for your buck and she gives you a lot of product absolutely so the next thing i'm going to be doing is showing you guys the way that each product does spray out. So the first thing i'll do is try it out. No, actually i'm saying this last. The first thing i'll do is try out the wig gurus. So let's put it to the test jody. This is how the wig guru sprays y'all, see that you see that you understand what i'm talking about of. Why i say spray is important. This technically would be your lace. You know what i mean if the spray is spraying out sporadically like this, you see how some areas is darker than others. Some areas have a very even way of how it's sprayed and then other areas are like spotty. That'S how it will look on your lace and those darker areas will really show on your lace to me personally, i feel like that's why i haven't really picked up the wig guru's lace, tint um, you know lately because personally i just don't like the way that It would spray out on my lace because, like i said, some areas would be a lot darker. Some areas would be kind of patchy and it just was like um, i'm gon na just use makeup and senses. You know what i'm saying: um the next spray i'm gon na try is the the true match: lace conceal um. So this is how this one's this one sprays. Oh same thing same thing now, don't get me wrong. I have been using the true match. Lace conceal. I like how the color matched my skin tone like spot orange, but the same thing. I didn't really like how it's sprayed it's patchy. It doesn't really go on evenly and to me again that's a problem, because when it comes to the lace, some areas be dark. Some areas be light, and i just don't like the patchiness sis, i just don't like it: okay, now we're going to go ahead and try the uh erica, j and honestly y'all when it comes to these videos, i'd be really raw okay. So if these products like embarrass me, i'm still putting the video out, if they don't embarrass me, i'm still pouring the video out they're, true they're, in-depth they're, honest they're start to finish my thoughts, pure reviews, and that's just how it is. You know what i'm saying so. Don'T really know how to compare these two, but we'll see. So this is the erica j um. Let me go ahead and spray it right. Next to all these, oh you saw it first, so i mean i mean sis. What are you gon na do? What are you gon na do? It is multiple things that is obvious to you guys now these are all the same type of colors. This is dark. This is dark brown, and this is finest mocha, which is their darkest. That um, the wicker was had purposely picked all dark colors from every brand that i was using prior and one of the brands that i really did like now. Let me show y'all the color difference with a lot of these brands that are coming out with lace, tints, the colors just be off sis. You know what i'm saying. I understand that us melanin women or men have different variations of chocolate in our skin, but sis. Please tell me who's this color, i'm just saying: please let me know who's, it's it's it's too red. It is too red. Now i know that we, like i said we vary in different shades and skin tones for black women. We are all black. We are all beautiful and we come in different sizes, shapes colors, everything love it, but these are not where it's at says it's not where it's at. I did tell you guys that these are all the same shades just different companies, the only one that y'all are looking at with me, we're all looking at the same thing here, number one, the erica j. First of all, it's a steady spray. Okay, it's not patchy! It'S not dotted it's not splattered. It'S spot-on, i feel like she does have a good array of colors that are all good undertones. I feel like where she nailed it with her color heels is the undertones i feel like we all. As far as black melon and women have different shades, but where she nailed it, that was, i feel, like the undertones of us to be able to match so many different colors, no matter what the skin tone is. I feel like the undertone is where she hit um. Like i said, i'm not going to use the dark from her um, i'm not going to use the dark brown. I think what i'm going to do is i'm going to do one layer of the light brown. I'M going to let that dry and then i'm going to mix a little bit of the medium brown. Personally, i just like to mix things i like to mix everything i like to mix my foundations. I like to mix my hair products and i like to mix my hair hues it just it is what it is. Let me show y'all the wig that i am so excited for hold on man. Marisha get out my way, we body - okay, it's not really. We. I feel like naughty bodied nani did the wig nani body, but what i love about me and nani working together is just the creative mind. The creative mind is just there and y'all keep getting masterpieces. First of all, nani got some voodoo with her hands. Okay, because when i put this wig on this mannequin before i send it to her, i hit her up like this. I don't know about this lace wig. You know what i'm saying like it. This lace, wig ain't really hitting like it, was before i sent her. This lace wig, this lace, wig, is actually from chambray hair um. How many times i have to keep talking about chambray hair like they are black owned, they're, like the only company in you, know, others right now that are still selling hair right now i don't even have hair to sell, but chambray is always coming in the clutch. Definitely going to support them, they are the only really brand right now that is still sending me wigs, because i can't make content. If i don't got wigs, it looks like pure scout, but she i'm just gon na, say she got voodoo fingers she got signed. She got something in her fingers to continuously make these wigs. Just look so natural. Like. Are you kidding me? Look at this? I don't know what to do with myself. Okay, oh my gosh, okay. I definitely got ta like fit it on my head. Okay, so another thing i need to add to you guys this wig is 40 inches. Yes, it is ma'am, so i'm clearly not 40 inches, i'm 5'4. I don't really know what that equivalence would be in inches, but it ain't foldy. So this is how long it is. It is long. It goes past my butt like long long. I am so excited okay, so i went ahead and cut off the back of the lace and i cut off the sides of the ears. Take the light, brown spray and spray that all over the lace. One thing i can say about the light brown is, i feel like it's like legit light brown. So this is how the light brown tint looks if you guys have like a transparent lace or anything like that, and you guys just wanted, like a super light touch to your lace. This is what i mean by a lace. Spray makes. It just looks so natural like it's not an off color, because the undertones of her lace tint is perfect for melon and skin tones um. So now i'm just going to darken up a little bit with the medium brown to, like, i said, make my own um special little undertone. It'S spot-on! It'S spot on! You guys see that you guys see that now, i'm going to show you guys how to use it one more time um, i did show you guys how i mix the two colors. I pretty much got like my special type of undertone that i want and i'm just going to go ahead and darken it just a little bit, i'm going to go ahead and lay down and melt down my lace, i'm going to be using all of erica j's Products so i'm going to be using her hold me down skin guard, i'm going to be using her new hold me down adhesive in the precision tip, which is this tip right here and then i'm going to be using her hold me down spray as well um, But once i melt down the lace, i'm going to go in with the lace tint one more time and actually spray it on my hairline, and you guys will just see a complete difference of how spraying the lace tip on your lace when you actually have it. On your head makes a difference, so let me just get right into doing all of that, for you guys chef club check trippy, so so so so so so so do i need to even need to say anything. It is it's. I don't think i've ever done. An install that looks this natural from the lace to the full lace way to the application with lace glue. I know how to do an install seamlessly with holding spray holding sprays like this got to be whatever i didn't use any makeup. I was so tempted to pick up makeup and have the makeup blend in with my lace and my skin tone. But one thing about it is, i feel, like makeup, is the cause for having your lace not blend in the way it should. The fact that i pretty much use this as like my makeup cover or like you know something to really blend my lace in seamless like oh, my gosh, i have no baby hair, none and everyone thought i dyed. My hair, orange and blue everyone thinks this is my hair everyone and then i'm like. No, no, no! No! It'S a late. It'S a it's! A wig they're like what it's a wig. What i seriously have no words: what is this masterpiece? Like tell me the t, because sis you did this, like you did this - i did this nani did this. We did this okay i'ma. Let y'all be the judge of this sleigh from the wig to the color to the lace melt to the blend. Thank you guys.
