Hey guys, it's your girl, niklin and welcome back to my channel. If it's your first time here, sis thank you for tuning. In on my channel, we go over all different type of braided, hairstyles and tutorials, and even reviews sometimes so, if it's your first time here, welcome, welcome welcome. So let's just jump right into what today's style is today. I am actually going to be doing a set of medium knotless box braids, and this time my client's hair is super super long. So i just wanted to show you a few clips of how i was able to make it through this style, and i hope that you'll be able to take something away from it and be able to even apply it to some of your styles. So i was actually a little bit nervous with this style guys because her hair was just so long, and i didn't really know if, with the length of her hair like how it was going to affect the way that i braided the you know, actual braids. So i was very surprised to see that, just because her hair was as long as it was, it really didn't have a negative effect on how the braids came out. So i added just about the same amount of pieces that i would normally add, which is about three to four pieces, and i braided pretty much the same way. So there really wasn't all that much of a difference. The only thing i can say that i may have done a little bit different is, i did use like smaller strands of hair, because when you have someone whose hair is this long, their hair is going to pretty much make up the braid. So i didn't have to add pieces too big and if you could see here where i'm adding even just a little bit down at the bottom, i am just actually just sliding that right under my finger, i'm putting it under the strand. That'S in my left hand, and then i'm holding that back and then i'm just going to go ahead and continue to braid, just as i would so adding the hair was no problem. I just made sure that the pieces were on the smaller side, and so the other thing was was that her hair was like this brown color here, and so i wanted to make sure that that was tucked. So if you could see, i'm just pushing that hair right behind that strand and once it's pushed behind the strand, i just go ahead and continue to braid again, as i normally would so. You guys already know how important parting is to me, um and if you have purchased your ebook, the beginner's guide to parting box braids. I thank you so much. We'Ve gotten so much good feedback and it has really been a helpful tool to those who are just starting out trying to learn the different parting methods for parting box, braids. So big shout out and thank you to all of those who have actually purchased the ebook um this time i did not use the same method or that same parting setup that is described in the ebook because, as i grow as a braider, you know i like To try different methods as well, so i decided to go around the head versus parting from ear to ear, first and then separating off the sections. So this is also a very important part. Braiding down all the way down to the bottom of your braids are very important. I can't tell you how many times that i see braiders or people who get their hair braided and it's like the braids look so good. But then you see the bottom and it's like cis. What happened like what happened to the bottom and as a braider, i know how tiring it can be when we are braiding hair this length. But trust me when i tell you: don't get lazy, just go ahead and be sure to finish and braid that hair all the way down to the bottom, so do um. So, as you can see, i am on my last braid and i really enjoy doing this style. I hope that you guys enjoyed the video thus far just so you know this style did take quite a long time. It does often take me quite a while to do knotless braids, especially medium, so i think we started around 10 o'clock in the morning and we probably did not finish till right up around 7pm, so it does take quite a long time guys, but it is totally Worth the outcome, it's totally worth the time that your client will not have to you know worry about their hair and things like that, just for a little while. So if you like this video, please go ahead and leave a like, don't forget to comment and also subscribe to the channel and, as always, guys enjoy the rest of this video and god bless so foreign.
