Full Traditional Box Braids Only 3 Hours Start To Finish

This is one bundle and Arty's tall how's Holly ure she's five, four okay, Anyanka see where these braids go on her stand up real quick, she's, 5'4, so they're pretty much above her butt. Okay, so big now knotless are a little faster for me. Yes, um well yeah, maybe a little bit uh they're about the same honestly, if I'm using pre-stretched hair, then I feel like yeah it's about the same. If I wasn't using pretty sure chair to do her hair, then it was taking longer oops. I'M sorry! Sorry, all these chords are by my feet and not keep stepping on them. Try to keep the same amount of hair per braid the same. I struggle with that and so for me, I've been Brighton for so long that I can feel in my hands when it's about the same size. But honestly, if you're a beginner, you need to just use your eyes and look like the first braid that you do. Let'S just say if this is the first braid that I did on the head, when I do my second braid and when I do my second braid, I'm gon na look and if it looks like it's the same size, then it's correct. If not, I'm gon na take it out, take some hair out and fix it and then keep going. So it will take time for you to get that like feel for yourself, but don't be afraid so take something out and redo it like I, even at the level on that now I still do it like. I did a couple of braids on her hair. Didn'T look right, I take it out and I redo it, so you just keep doing that and then eventually you'll start to be able to fill it in your fingers. Like now, I can fill into my fingers if it's too much realistically, every single braid on her head is not the same exact size. If you weight it, it would not be the same, but when they're close in size it gives the illusion that they're all the same size. So you just want to get it as close as you can. Some people will do the first braid and if it's the size that they want they'll take that out and then use that amount of hair as like a guide but um yeah you just I mean you have to be when you're a beginner. You really have to be patient. I think a lot of people want to be so good so fast that they don't like appreciate the journey. You know you just have to get better over time. People that are great at braiding have been braiding, usually for a long time unless you're, naturally gifted and you came out of - I mean, like I don't know, it's very rare, there's always a process. You guys may not always see the process, but there's always a process. If y'all just watched my last video that I reacted to, then you wouldn't know that, because two years ago I thought I was hot Shi T and I've gotten so much better since then, so you just got to take your time. The way you prep will help you move a little faster, but it's all in like just practicing and doing it a bunch of times. I had talked about this on my last life, the more you do, something the more comfortable and confident you are doing it. So, like wife snatcher said it is muscle memory like I've been doing these for so long that or just braiding for so long that my hands are just like you know, so the more you do something the more confident you are. You know how to like attack it, so that's where your speed will come in you shouldn't really focus on being faster. You should work on your presentation and your neatness and precision and your braids, because that will get you more clients than just moving fast. You can do the thing about being fast because this happens to me. Sometimes if it doesn't turn out right, then people will be like well. You just brushed my hair like, but I didn't rush like I'm just a fast braider, but if everything is not too to what your client wants it to be, then it becomes like. Oh, you rushed my hair, you know so being fast is not always the best thing you want it. You want your clients to feel like you're, really taking your time. You know. Where did you get your blue comb? I got these from Sally's. I love these combs. I'Ve been using a precision, parting comb, but I love my blue combs. I'M sorry. I was thinking about starting my own salon, but I really go back and forth with that, because I don't want to get tied into a place and be stuck there, but I can give you the advice that I have on that. Do you have any tips on maintaining 4a 4b here outside of protector styles, like braids, I mean you can do like twist outs, braid outs, that type of stuff. The main thing is just is keeping moisture in your hair a lot of times when people wear their hair out. They do like like for me, for example, I do a lot of wash and gos on my hair because, obviously, like I wear my hair curly, there's not really much. I can do with my hair, but um a lot of people don't keep moisture in and that creates a lot of breakage. So you want to just make sure you really lock in that moisture, deep condition it find like a great leave-in, conditioner and then seal it in with moisture. Do your hands ache after braiding? No, they don't only if I do a bunch of heads a day like five or six or seven or eight, but no yeah. If it happens again, I'm not going to use that oil. I don't think I use anything to break, but if it happens again you probably have psoriasis because it's arises looks like that too. So you'll know I'm not gon na put not oil on it. So if you go home you could use like if you want to use the wild growth yourself, you can use that and then you can see, because I don't think when I'm rated it, I don't think I use any product so great.
