Hey everybody: if this does not work, i'm just gon na be splicing and dicing. Okay, welcome back to my channel! Welcome if you're new welcome, if you're not new! Today, i'm going to be showing you how i do my knotless box braids with some cornrows in the front. It'S going to look very chic, very nice in time for my birthday, so i'm very excited um. So the look i'm trying to achieve is this one. I found it on pinterest, that's how i get all my style and inspo and stuff, but as you can see, there are cornrows on either side and then in the back there are probably individual box braids, but i'm just gon na do knotless braids. So these are the things that you're going to need: you're going to need some shine and jam just some edge control, any edge of control you have, it doesn't have to be shine and jam. This stuff smells amazing. You'Re gon na need a wide tooth comb. Every natural girl's best friend, as well as a rat tail comb to define and make sections and parts you're also gon na need a mirror. I am not going to really be like strictly parting, the the black, the back of my hair, just because i don't have the energy to be looking in the back of my head like that. But i will be in the front parting, slicing and dicing, and all that good stuff, next you're going to need a rack or just some means of organizing the hair for these knotless braids knotless braids require you to put in pieces of hair at a time just Like cornrows, so you're definitely going to need some means of organizing that, whether that be on a hanger, whether that be on a towel rack, whether that be through this. I chose this. This was 10 bucks at walmart compared to the 30 on amazon. So i think that was a very good deal. This is originally i found it in the thread. Aisle of walmart um usually made to organize spools of thread, but um i'm using it for hair, and i thought it was nice because i am definitely trying to do. Knotless braids long term, as well as cornrows for protective styling, so you're going to need that you're also going to need hair, as if you all haven't seen my amazon haul, make sure you go watch that um. I got this hair off amazon. Seven packs of this honestly, i'm not sure it's gon na be enough. I'M praying to the good lord that it will be. It is the color. This is the color 27.. For the end, this is what you're going to need you're going to need some boiling water. Some mousse some hair oil and some hair accessories, okay, but that won't be until the end, which could potentially be until tomorrow. So without further ado, let's get into this video, i just wanted to say: if you're not subscribed, i don't know what you're doing. I think you are compromising your own immune system. I believe anthony fauci said yesterday that if you watch more of my videos, it will strengthen your immune system. I think it's an obvious decision. You should subscribe to my channel and click that notification bell, so you get updated every time i upload, so you can keep on coming back and watching these spectacular videos that i curate for you guys. I will be back once i do some of these and get the rhythm. It is currently 2 49.. So without further ado, let's hop right into it, so you can't really see probably the bottom half i hope y'all can see the top, but i'm gon na go through one knotless braid for you all. I got my rat tail comb, so i'm gon na make sure that part is nicely defined. Well, i didn't really do a tuck game for my braids um to kind of hide the black and the brown that i have going on just because i wanted that natural transition to the like dirty blonde. That'S going on. I think it's more of like a dirty blonde yeah, so i have my braid rack, so i have my braid rack and i have pieces of hair already laid out granted. I should have probably showed you how i you know: split the hair, but it's okay. I'M gon na take some shine and jam. I'M basically done with it like that's crazy um, but i'm gon na take some and put it on the root section. So what i'm gon na do i'm gon na split this into three one, two and three here and i'm going to braid as normal, so i'm going to do tuck this piece under the middle one. I tend not to look in the mirror so much because then this front piece still back. I tend to not look in the mirror, because the mirror makes me confused sometimes so that's why, but i'm gon na take a piece of hair and, depending on the size of the part, you want to make it as big or as small as that part is So you take that piece of hair kind of secure it in sometimes i'll use my middle finger and press down so that hair is nice and secure. Then take this nice piece, that's held my pinky up here and bring that underneath making sure that i'm gathering that hair over all right - i add another piece. So every part of the hair gets a piece and then i secure that again do another. One. Two take your last piece of hair grab it with your index finger hope you all can see that knuckle moving, okay, implant! It there take that third piece hold it down, hold that kanekalon down with your ring finger and do three one: two! Three and now you can just continue braiding down and then i'll take some of that edge control and make sure you see you see the hair here. You want to make sure that's all nicely blended in and you'll just braid down second to last braid, then we're gon na take we're gon na split this in the front, and i'm going to take again one two and three and with that i'm just gon na Start cornrowing, so i'm gon na do two of those and then add in some hair: okay where's this gone. This is why i hate looking in the mirror. Okay, there we go put in another piece of hair, okay and then we're gon na take the last one. Then we're coming to wow, i'm really done with this jar of shine and jam, but once you come to the ends of the hair, you're gon na smooth them out a few moments later: okay, so now i'm gon na start braiding and i'm just gon na. Take these and kind of create, like a slit knot situation like that, i'm gon na get more hair and come right away. So i'm done with this side and i'm gon na do this side. I got two pieces of hair for this one, but it's going to be okay. Let me scrape off any shine and jam that is left okay and i'm gon na do the same thing. I'M not gon na do look in the mirror this time, i'm just gon na look straight in the camera. So what we have we're gon na take three pieces in the front. So that's one there's two, that's three! Then i'm gon na braid, like normal and i'm gon na just grab a piece of hair, because why not so i'm gon na do gather some more hair again one to take that last piece of hair. There we go. So it's not really like a cornrow cornrow, because again i didn't have a lot of space at the front of my head to do cornrows, but i can't believe i bought six seven packs of hair and i only use what two of them it's wild. Many months later so much later, that the old narrator got tired of waiting and they had to hire baby. So i'm back, i'm finally done with my hair. I have braids in i dip these in boiling water. My ends um. I didn't want to do that. On camera, since i have the camera here and things like that, but um yeah i wanted to put in flexi rods and then did them, but i couldn't find my flexi rods, so instead i just put them in braids and dipped them in um after i was Done i put in this hask coconut monoi, nourishing shine, hair oil on the length of my hair and then and kind of on the top as well. Then i put in this mousse. This is the viral vigorous, curls mousse, and it just looks like this. I put it all on top of my head on the length of my braids and things like that, and then after i was done, i put more of the hask on i'm very happy with how this came out. I'M going to do like a little reveal for you all, so i do have hair accessories. I have silver and gold of these little spirals here, and these are nice, but they kind of get caught in the hair, so i won't be using these. I also have these cuffs these cuffs here and then i have these little hook: circle thingies in both uh silver and gold, and so i have them. I might use them, but i don't really feel like putting anything. I don't feel like accessorizing, my hair right now. Um, these are nice, i'll link them down below they're from amazon. Let me show you guys what my hair looks like. So it looks like this y'all, that's the top. It looks nice and flat no little to no frizz. Let'S! Oh yes, i like this. Yes, it's wavy yay, it's wavy, that's exactly how i wanted it. So i'm happy about that and this folks. This is what we're looking like. Let me stand up. These are the ends. I really like these. I really like this. This might be my go-to protective style to be honest, because these are so nice. The last thing that i am going to do before i close out this video is oil. My scalp, the scalp, can be get very dry. If you don't take care of it, you can put mousse in it. You can put a hair serum on it like i did, but you have to keep the hair nicely moisturized. This is the natural sisters mega growth, elixir and i've used. So much of it. I have to get some more. I get this off etsy um. They are a hair salon in harlem. I believe, and my friends highly recommended it because she has a very long hair and very long natural hair and i'm like if i can get hair like you, girl, i'll, buy anything anything i'm just going to massage that into my scalp gently and i've been using This and my hair has already grown a quarter inch. Hence the black that you see at the root, oh yeah, and i'm going to take a little bit extra of that oil, maybe put in three or four or five drops they're like little leaves. This is what it's like cardamom. It has like lemongrass um camphor in it. So this is what my hair is looking like, i'm really enjoying it. Ah, that's basically it. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I'M sorry! I couldn't really explain how to do dotless braids, but please please, please watch some tutorials um. I highly recommend kirsty petrie, um k-e-r-s-t-i-p-i-t-r-e um for a lot of breeding tutorials. That'S mainly who i learned my braiding from, but also um beauty can braid. It'S all one word. She does nice in-depth, tutorials um as well as well as dope panna, so it's dope in all caps, a x x, panna, you'll y'all can find them on youtube and they do bomb hairstyles. So i hope you enjoyed this video, don't forget to like comment and subscribe. Subscribe and click that notification bell, so you get updated every time i up load.
