You may have also wondered about box braids and asked, are box braids good or bad for your hair growth or if it is good for transitioning hair. Also there is a common myth that sew in weaves are bad for your hair, so you may have asked yourself, are weaves good for hair growth. Do weaves make your hair grow or damage your hair. I answer all of these questions in this video and give an in deep comparison on all the protective hairstyles and tell you how to make your natural or relaxed hair grow long through protective styling.

I get such important information and it has allowed me to really throw my chair a lot more in protective a guys. It'S show. So let's talk protective styling, my experience with a wide range of protective styles. I know it works and what doesn't - and I'm really excited that cumulated the secrets to getting the most of growth out of these protective style. So that's what I wanted to share with you today, because no one really talks about this much. The more experience I have with different types of protectors about I have to realize that they are not all equal and you are able to retain more in late from some than others. Okay, so what is a protective style anyway could be something as simple as what I'm doing that two box braids so wins, wigs, crochet anything that keeps you from having to do your hair everyone. Why should you protective style, your hair? It won't be manipulating your hair as much the morning manipulate your here. The more it breaks so protective styling would be amazing if it's done right, but really tragic. It could stand wrong. So the first thing to know about good protective style that will make you retain as much length as possible in a longer, you can keep in the same protective style, more growth you can retain and when I say long I don't mean like five four months. I think being able to wear it for one or two months, because whenever you're, putting in a protective style and taking one Dallas, you're, manipulating your hair, giving it more chances to great. So the longer intervals that you have in between those times, the more you can retain growth, that's not to say that short term detective styling like this is the fact thing and I will get into that later. So, first let me talk about long term, so I'm going to start by splitting the long-term protective styles into three different categories and I'm going to rain theft for you in order of the ability to retain the most Lake to the lease. So the different category that I will cover our box, braids cornrows and wigs weaves and crochets. Now I'm a third lowest type of long term. Protective styling is box braids, so now boxes, of course, are still nice protective stuff. I am just raking these in order of the very best to still very good reason why box braids are the lowest long-term. Protective style is because they're the easiest to mess up, they're really good. When you make them big and a little bit looser and don't go too hard on your edges, but when they're small and tight like these, it's so easy for you to pull out your edge. If you notice your braids following out chances, are your real hair fell out with it? This is so damaging and so bad for your hair. How great is above, that is cornrows, where no styles can be anything where you're not putting something on top of your clothes? Where are you just doing some type of wardrobe? So the only reason you corners are a little bit and less because your hair is a little bit more exposed to like the elements of daily life. Remember you have cornrows that aren't being covered up by a wig or cushion, and by this I mean the friction and the damage to your communica'ls. That happens whenever you rub your head against other surfaces like a seat or your pillow, also with cornrows that aren't covered up by other things like wigs or crochet. There'S a tendency to want to do more smaller, intricate styles, which can put too much tension on your hair and pull out your edges. The top wigs, weaves and crochets are what will give you the most length retention, but within the wigs, weaves and crocheted category itself. There is some variance in you can't get more out of the different types within that category, although within that category one thing that can help you retain more length is to have less leave out those weeks unless it's all with u-part wig. You really don't have much. You leave out this crochet depending on how you do it usually don't have to have about weaves if you usually might know about method or closure. Anything or not have any way to tell if you have leave out you'll be manipulating that leave out like everyday so, but that part of your hair will not get the benefits of a protective stuff. When I had first started getting into so many plays that, like this section right here, was always so much shorter than the rest of my hair, and it's like, I was treating it badly that simply the fact of me combing it every day what allowing it to Break and a lot of the times dear texture doesn't match the texture of your only so that can cause you to use heated stuff like that. Yeah is okay, but you'll get more out of you protect this style. If you have no leads out at all, we use versus crochet verses, which say that they all have known about, which is better at wigs, are better believes, they're only good protective styles, if you're here to actually breathe it down, underneath you're, really not getting much. As far as a protective style out of your wig, if your hair isn't braids in town every time that you go to bed, you do something you put your wig on it off your allow your hair to move around and it can be kind of continual with Itself, especially if you're not combing your hair every day, but you shouldn't do and a protective style anyway. That'S the point I mean. I know that you're here will be a tankful to mess, so is very important that you actually cornrow your hair down. If you are wearing oh wait, I cannot stress that if your cornrow, your hair down, then away it's basically the same or it seems the same as a weave or crochet, but it's likely not the reason. Why is because you're putting less manipulation and friction on your hair? I not sewing something on to it or crocheting, something on to throughout the duration of your leave that thread and those tracks of you rubbing against your hair. You say: what's crocheted you'll, be attaching something to your hair that can rub and pull against it, especially when you're, combing or styling your extensions and you tug on your extensions you're tugging on your hair as well, but wigs aren't for everyone. I know this can be hard to make it look natural and I don't know, there's something fun about having a weave or a crocheted, something that you don't have to take off. That can you say, leaves and crocheted are still amazing. Amazing protectors, don't you just think? Like that big, but if you're really trying to get the most out of the protective stuff, this is just what I would say. Another really cool thing that I learned about getting the most out of this protective stuff. If the way your great pattern works also matters and I'm not like you Mellie the size of your braids for your actual braid pattern, and so, but I know this that really helps my edges a lot and remember your hair is in braids going this way. It'S more easy for your edges to rub out and come out loose versus whenever they're all tucked away in phrase going back this way and whenever your edges are rubbed out and come up loose, then they're, not in a protective style anymore and they're. Just the same as hair, that's just normally out, and especially when you're wearing your bonnet things like that, there's more rubbing and things like that. That'S put on your ear, also know with we use, especially sometimes you want to do those smaller braids trying to get everything to look all flat and everything just go with a bigger break, bigger, raise arms who so much easier to take down, and they require less Tinkling, whenever you're taking it down it allows you to retain as much length as possible, take guidance of where you will see the most breakage. So take your time whenever you're taking on these protect this stuff. Okay. So now, let's talk about short term protective styles, because short term protective styles are also really import to end. I know sometimes it's harder to do these long term, three different style. Maybe you don't know how to do them on yourself. You have to pay a lot of money to get them done. Maybe our peoples get them done around you. You can watch my tutorials, but if you are still struggling like that, there are still options for you to protect this style, your hair. So what I'm wearing right now is a simple short term protective style that I'm using to wear in between my longer-term protective styles. Well, I don't really feel like we're. My parents just sit down and have me on my neck, especially for the time and don't have to do anything to get ready in the morning. I keep it like this, but very important that, even if you can't do a long-term protective spell just do a short-term protective spell every now, I'm just putting less in the information you're here is what makes a particular style, and it can be anything the longer. It is the better, but sometimes that doesn't work for everyone. So tor is okay to ask me. I have learned a lot of things myself from literally just try a bunch of things and see what works and seeing like dusting. It accidentally doing something and realizing cake, but here just cool a lot. I wonder what caused that? I'M really thinking and breaking down the different protect this off that I did and looking at what could have caused this growth, which is why I wrote all of this stats up and down as much information as possible to put out this video for you guys and Tell you guys about protective styling, so I hope it helped you enough to the next video super lucky there's some protective stops for you guys to try and stay tuned for my future video, where I talk about maintenance, protective styles, because a protective style is only as Good, as I maintain it, you can do the best protective stop, but if you not maintaining it right, you won't see any growth, so yeah, the next one.

Kameili Bleu: i’ve notice that with my hair, anything that includes cornrows( such as sew ins and crochet) my hair grows a lot.

Bryanna Marcella: Long term protective styles 1. Wigs/Weaves/crochets: no leave out. Wigs are best when hair is braided down underneath. 2. Cornrows: without adding anything on top (wig or crochet). 3. Box braids: better if they are bigger instead of smaller

Artonique Hodges: I have only had my hair in a protective style for about 3 weeks and I am already seeing my hair get thicker and stronger . Thank you for this video ! I will be keeping my hair braided all summer !

Melly Boo: Good points. These protective styles does help the hair grow because it helps you to retain length and though some of us don't think so, our hair is always growing. We just need to learn how to retain length.

Phonche TV: Throughout the winter months, i bought a few synthetic wigs to cycle through to wear as protective styles and thats when i achieve the most length retention underneath i just have my hair conrowed down and i just LOVEEE my wigs im obsessed lol every fall i get super excited because i get an excuse to buy more wigs to protect my hair from the cold weather

Laya Bailey: I came here to choose crotchet our wig. I’ve worn a wig for 7 months. Washed and conditioned my hair every week And included rice water. Never got a blow out but definitely seen so much growth and then for the past 2 months I got crotchet locs And I loved the fact that my hair was really breathing but I didn’t like that I couldn’t use my weekly washing routine anyways I seen so much growth with my locs as well and my blow out today looked great! My hair is so full and beautiful

Indiegirl007: I noticed that crochet locs just made my hair grooooow. And my hair feels so much stronger.

Chan Green: I use to just put my hair in two braids and leave it for a week but just oil it and spray with water and my hair grew a lot

lentina lum: You've answered questions I didn't even knew I hadI thought I knew so much about natural hair care but I've just been schooled. Thanks so much

Yara Mel Style: The friction analysis between wigs, weaves and crochet was spot on! You're a genius. Thanks for sharing

Fine Natural Hair ROCKS: This is such solid advice! Thank you for spreading this real knowledge about growing natural hair as long and strong as it can grow!

Mitchie Mar: Thanks for the tips. I've been using synthetic weave (half-wig) for almost a month now and I can see my hair is growing already and I could see that since it has less breakage it is resulting to fast hair growth.

Jessie Myrie: Love these styles. I'm really big on protective styles, they have really helped me with growth. Great video!

Tammy Adams528: I went back to my crochet braids. My hair grew super long for the first time in my life. Then I tried the miss ceily twists under a wig and my hair did not retain any length. My hair seemed thinner and my edges got thinner. I went back to crochet braids back on track to get back to BSL and then MBL. Team Crochet Braids.

Sapphire Relaxed Hair: I've noticed that braids do allow the hair to grow, I have my granddaughter braid my Hai in two french braids and my hair has been growing tfs God bless you ❤

Brooke Benjamin: I think this is good but I noticed crotchet gives me more growth than wigs. The reason why is because my scalp can breathe! When you wear a wig and a cap it’s like wearing a band aid. Yes you can take it off at night, but then you put a scarf on at night so your scalp is rarely breathing. Hence your hair grows under wigs but for me it is noticeably thinner.

Benedicta Appiah: Hi!! I'm new here. I've been watching your videos and I really appreciate the insight you've provided in retaining and growing hair. So in regards to the protective styling, how long should I wait after putting my hair in long term protective style before putting my hair back into another long term protective style?

Stacie P: My hair grew 22 inches wearing weaves, omg!

Tammy A: I agree, box braids ain’t doing nothing for me! Not a fan of weaves at all either. Thanks for this video, I’m so excited to try crochet braids for the first time ever & experiment more with wigs!!

RGLover641: yasss thank you for this!! Protective styles is honestly want I need to learn about. More vids on this plz <3 Even protective styles when you have your real hair out!! I'm not a huge fan of weaves, but I box braids, twists, etc. All these different hairstyles <3

Destiny Thomas: I need a video like this for my relaxed hair! Thank you so much for posting!

Theresa Beard: Thanks dear.this is very informative.I use wigs for protective styles.I braid my hair under my wigs.I wash condition and and air dry my hair every 2 weeks.I do moisturize and seal 3 or 4 days a week.My hair is 17 inches and growing.I tried weaves but i would leave them in too long and my hair ended up damaged.I am on a no heat challenge.I am in my 7th month.Lords will i will go a whole year.

Kathryn Williams: It's not one size fits all, its through trial and error, u will find what works for u. These videos are from people who have tried what works for them. What works for them doesn't work for everyone. Wash, condition and protective style, experiment with different products and with time ur hair will get health. Sometimes u need to see a doctor who may find u need more water or vitamins or no perms for a while, do u first and see. We tend to come here and see people with long flowing hair and want to know what they used which may not work for us yet they feel like it should. Stop hanging on every word these people say or do and find what works for your particular hair. Their are no magic potions out here, but persistence in daily hair care. Yes, they all can give tips as far as breakage or how many times to wash and condition which all should know their hair.

Angelica Taylor: Finally! Someone that doesn’t just tell you they show you what they mean.

fyx kt: I'm about two years late, but, I have natural box braids. No feed in or knots. They're about medium/small (done at home, not in a salon lol). Would still be effective? I have seen growth, especially with my last takeout. I had cornrows, but as I've gotten older, my nape cant handle it anymore. Love your vids, they're definitely helping me with my hair journey.

Virginia Hitimana: Thank you so much for this informative video! I didn’t completely understand when you were talking about braiding your edges. You’ve found it safer to braid them down toward your ear instead of straight back? I don’t always like to have a leave out

Aisha Brathwaite: I have had amazing results with faux locs with Senegalese twists as the base and using the crochet method for the wrapping hair. Little to no tension and they can last up to 2 months. My fav!!!

deva190: So based on the comments below, braids, cornrows, wigs, grow hair. That means that those individuals who, say have relaxed loose hair never need a touch up because their hair isn't growing. Or those with loose dyed hair never have to dye their roots because their hair isn't growing. Or those who have loose natural hair never gain any length because their hair isn't growing. No people. It is that protective styles help MAINTAIN LENGTH as does simply leaving the hair alone.

Crystalshrly: Simple, informative and educational. Thank you!

fanatsywriter 12345: I went through a whole natural hair journey and still going, but one thing I can say for sure is that weaves and wigs and crochets and stuff like that isn't for me. I have nothing against them, I just wouldn't want them in my hair. I have before and it just isn't me. I used to twist my hair all the time and also, over summer, I put my hair in individual braids. But recently, when I tried them, I didn't look right, so I stick with two braids, wash on Saturdays, rice water and conditioner works for me, but I want to try other things like aloe vera, onion juice, clay masks, ACV rinses and herbs and stuff like that. I also need to change my diet and work out more. I just need to buy more walking shoes because the ones I have now are getting worn out. And I also have a sweet tooth, so changing my diet will be a bit of a challenge. Another thing to add is that drinking water helps. I drink nothing but water. I did sneak a little soda in system the other day and realized that it's not worth it. I'm perfectly fine with just water. Trial and error on your own hair helps. What works for one person may not work for you. For example, I have high porosity hair, but I have been following these low porosity youtubers because they have low porosity, so I thought I did. It's the same with hair styles. I can't really say which hair style works the best for me because they all kind of end with the same result. I never see much of a difference, or if I do, I wouldn't know because my memory is terrible. I do want to try individual braids again. I might try putting them in tomorrow. I just washed my hair today (no rice water, my hair needs a break from the protein) and put some olive oil product in my hair and it is really soft. I want to stretch it first and see if that helps and go on with it. If it still doesn't look right, I'll go back to two braids, or the style my hair is in right now (three big braids on each side, going back into two buns) and leave it like that and do individual braids when I go home (I'm in college right now and can't afford to look like a who done it). So, yeah.

Bini Beauty: Hey Seun. For longterm protective styles whats the longest you'd keep it in without washing and moisturizing?

Temitope oyeleye: Thanks so much, you are giving me hope that African relaxed hair can grow really long, thank u xoxo !!

「 timneat」: when i get older, i'm planning on wearing wigs with two braids under the wig cap, because it allows for man different styles and colors all without harming your natural hair.

tori: 4:10 that happened to me around febuary this year when i had sew ins and i ended up shaving majority of my hair. Please give tips because its growing fairly slowly.

Ayanna Bridges: You look like a grown up version of the mcclure twins

Prophetess Lady Of Wisdom: I personally wear wigs but I don't use glue or any adhesives, just an elastic band to secure my wig. My hair is always in braids. I wear a cap under my wigs but I take my wigs off every night to moisturize& I always sleep in a satin bonnet or a satin scarf. Even with wigs, you still have to properly moisturize your hair, co wash, shampoo and take the braids down because your hair will tangle up, get dry& fall out. My real hair is long but never as thick as I would prefer it to be. Wearing a sew in with leave out broke the top of my hair off yrs ago so I never had one again. I don't know too much abt box braids or crochet braids.

Robyn: I wanted to do crochets but my hair is rather short and I honestly don't want to have to deal with any breakage, for about 3years since about 11 years old I have been trying to keep my hair natural with my mum's help

Vee Bee: Funny enough, putting my edges into 'protective styles' destroys them, no matter if its done loose. So leave outs actually grow my edges well whilst box braids/weaves grow the rest of my hair really well

Nzal Lauriane Mamay: Sis, just wanted to give you some love I‘ve been here since the beginning of your channel. You are beautiful, know so much about relaxed and afro hair, are educated about our hair and I appreciate the effort you put in your videos. And the fact that you reply to almost everyone (even annoying comments lol), kudos to you really ❤️ If you ever come to Brussels I am treating you on a waffle haha, bisousss

Ericka Salary: How do you feel twists work for a protective style? And how long should/could it be left in?

Lloydann Daley: I think straight back cainrow corn row is fine! U can get them big and not super tight. Tie your hair sit night. And box braids is easier to wash and moisturize hair that crochet braids for example..to keep it in

Mary Mansaray: Thank you, Ma, for this video, what are the best protective styles for the most hair growth. Your natural videos help me so much, I appreciate It, thank you Ma.

Amina Darling: Omg I love your videos like thank you so much for spilling the tea ! I will most definitely be watching all of your videos and trying out your techniques! Thank you

Karen Wynters: Due to Covid 19 virus I relaxed my own hair cause my hairdressers are closed to do it and damaged my hair so bad....Because of that I just started braiding my hair and I'm enjoying it....It makes me look cute.....I've decided to braid my hair for the rest of the year to rest off the chemicals in my hair and also I know that braiding my hair like every two months will grow my hair......I'm just gonna do a different braid hairstyle every two months just to motivate me to keep braids in my hair for the rest of the year......Also you must do your hair treatments when you take out each braid so that you put back the oils and nutrients in your hair.....Braiding is great but nourish your hair after each braid......

Ariel Valentine: Great Tips In this video I been growing my hair with cornrows but I want to try something different like a sew in but I don't know how to care for it. Can you do a video on how to grow natural hair underneath the sew in like moisturizing and washing natural hair with a sew in

CaPriel Annissa: This video was very informative I’ve always wondered what was the correct braiding pattern for weaves and wigs

Grrr oh my: i think i’m the only person that can’t do cornrows it ruins my 4C hair sooo much . idek why. when i do box braids my hair grows SM and gets thick rich quality, but every time i do feed in cornrows the front of my hair or edges come off and i get balding spots and my hair becomes dry even when i oil . when i do box braids i section my hair and oil moisturize and then braid or twist my natural hair before putting the extension on snd braiding. so when i take off the extensions my natural hair braids are long and healthy. when i cornrow i’m sort of just adding extension to my combed out natural hair and idk why but the tugging or smth just messes me up

yemaya oshun: I tried clip-ins for the first time and my hair was very dry and broken after.

April Lovelady: Great information! What’s your opinion on knotless box braids? They’re supposed to be better because they don’t apply as much tension and are light weight.

oluwatomisin osunsina: Hello Seun.. Do you use edge control or gel to style your hair when you have braids or crotchet on? I feel like their daily usage breaks my hair and I'd like to know if it's just me.. Your hair is beautiful :)

Danaé Lauren Tolbert: A cross between Riley Burruss and Gabrielle Union.

alicia c.: I love my micro . I feel like as long as you don't make them tight you are fine. If your hair is not really thick , you want it to look full and not spaced. Just be gentle , spray 3 times a week and you should be ok. Thanks for sharing. I agree btw, short term is better . I hate wigs though , my edges lol.

‘amarachi: okay so basically when we do protective styles like box braids, get them on the bigger side ?

H M: Cornrows with synthetic hair works well. Synthetic hair wraps around your own hair.

Lavona Edwards: Crochet snapped my hair so badly. I have fine, dense 3b-4a hair. My mini twists work best for me. Cornrows get frizzy fast on me so I end up messing with them more than just leaving my twists.

Yula: Amazing video, random question. Do you scalp or put hair "food" or oil on your scalp, if so, which kind? And also I'm currently in a 360 weave, I'm considering steaming or atleast washing my hair whilst it's in this present hairstyle, I want to try and keep it for almost 3 months.., your honest thoughts on the matter will be totally appreciated and needed.. Much love ❤

Suphane Dash: I prefer to try box braids or feed in braids not a big wig fan I don't like the thought of wearing someone else's hair on my head and it's kind of expensive

Kaniya jenkins: my mom would wear crochets all the time and her hair grew sooooooo much so i wear them sometimes and my hair has been growing ‍♀️ but i think i'm gonna switch to something else

christian lombas: So funny y'all r awesome!!! So I definitely a white person lol , but let me tell u I have following protective styles for a year since I decided to rock the pomador lol but with box braids my hare grow sooooooo much!! Thank God for box braids my favorite style!!!

Yk. liziii: My hair definitely grows more when I do Crochet

Karen Wynters: This video Suen was very informative....thank you again for yet another great video.....

FirstName LastName: You just convinced me to go ahead and get a closure for my Cancun weave LOL. Thanks!

MAgnificent: I had a bad experience with weave. It made my hair fall out and it wasn't that cute either

Lloydann Daley: I went crazy on wig glue n take down. Months castor oil and vitamins later. I’m still growing those edges back smh And crochet always tangles my hair no matter the install.

MsAvalon25: Great video love! Very informative! xoxo

PBEs: You're amazing! Appreciate these videos

154angel154: Too hot all that added hair right! As soon as the weather cools off in mid August I am going BACK to my protective styles!!!

• wxffle •: how long would it take for my hair to grow if i did corn rows? So like how long do i leave the corn rows in and should i add any fake hair? without the fake hair would it still grow the same amount?

SEXYCapricorn: I did Quick-Weave and my hair grew like CRAZY........it got Thicker & LONGGGGGG!

lerinnenatalia capers: This is a great video, but u really gotta trial and error on ur own. Wigs just don't agree with my scalp. I've washed them, moisturized my scalp, and they just make me itch so bad. Plus My edges will go from thick and nappy to rubbed out and receded. I've even used this edge protector thing, but apparently my edges just need to be free. So noooo wigs for me. Sew ins and crochets are the best. 1 trick for crochets is to braid fairly loose so the hair is not passing under a super tight cornrow. And sew in braids don't need to be sewed up into a birds nest all tight. Some medium size straight back braids is all u need. Why do ppl do all that? It looks like so much tension before the track is even added.

Nasia Brown: Just discovered your channel, love it!! Thank you

GIRL CHASES DREAMS: Wigs have been my go-to for growing my hair down to mid back length. And yesss to braid pattern. My nape has suffered due to brain pattern. I’ve found the best brain pattern for my nape and nape only is to braid horizontally . Curious to know your hair care routine for under your wigs. Do you leave the braids in for 1-2 months? How often do you wash your hair? Do you spray it?

KiAnna Speas: I'm a lazy natural and idk how to do my hair But it's never too late to learn, right?

Courtney Henley: Wigs wrecked my edges without braiding it down.. My hair grows best with cornrows and box braids.

Ari delicieusee: I don't know why but every time I have my hair in cornrows it breakes so much and it doesn't matter how much I moisturize it before it still breaks off like crazy

ShayShay C: You have beautiful hair. I don’t think my hair would ever grow back thick in long again.

GrowWithAbby: @seunokimi Thanks for the tips. How do you keep your hair moisturiZed when in protective styles. How do you keep your ends from not drying out.

Nicole Hamilton: Should you moisturizer or oil your scalp when you have crochet braids? Does adding hair to your crochet pattern damage your hair?

Celestina Gabriel: Hi seun , my hair is a year old and its still short , no front hair and I usually have hair loss . what should I do

CharleneWithrow: I can't go longer than two weeks without washing or co-washing my scalp. Perhaps I could do braids as long as I can cleanse my scalp

Tish Payne: Great informative vid Seun!✊

Stella O Art: Wow, this video taught me so much ❤️♥️ love your channel

Mary Elmore: My hair grows more whenever I braid or use crochet.

Marvellous-God David: Hi seun! I know you're natural now but, what about knotleds braids? Do you think it's a protective style?

Ama: I loved this video. It was so educating. So I normally weave (or plait anyone) my hair into cornrows myself and it doesn't last so long. Do you think my hair would be getting more damage done than good if I keep making my cornrows frequently?

Teddy Nkwabi: Thanks for the tips. But I have a serious problem with my hair (other than growth plateau) , I'm having some serious dandruff issues. My scalp is super itchy and flaky, I don't know why it's so annoying. Help please! Any suggestions?

Orinu Abang: Do you wash and deep condition your hair while you have the protective style on or you loosen it then wash and deep condition?

Lamby C: Hi! Love your channel! I am a wig first timer and I need some pointers installing a wig. Do you have a video of how you install your wigs? How long do you recommend to leave them in for?

Ci Ci: I want to thank you I was able to retain more length taking your advice

Oreo I: how long can you leave sew in weave in your hair for good growth result and not much damage?

Eyinojuoluwa Olorunfemi: Hello what protective style can I do to my natural hair without having to wear weaves/extensions as I don’t use those

Debora Oyebanji: New subscriber thanks so much i will give it a try as you have explained. But my question is what about the dry scalp how can i stop it from itchy and dryness?

Alex Reid: Anytime I do Box braids I get so much breakage... I've stop doing them

carolyn payton: Yep, my hair loves corn rows and wigs.

Sandian BC: Wow i didn't think it through this protective styling. I think iwill try crochet again i am really trying to surpass this growth plateau i am experiencing.

Kalah Brown: Thank you cause this video really helps

Roromori MiaT: I've learned that weave really help my hair grows.

Camaelyonz M.: Crotchet always pull out all my hair. I have cotton candy hair, so any tension breaks my hair. Still can't figure out what to do to retain length.

fabulous life in Christ: What about two strand twists and then keeping a scqrf on most of the time?

Blessed vimbai: what should be my daily care routine for relaxed hair growth?
