Twisted Crown Updo On Naturally Curly Hair

Hey everybody. Thanks so much for tuning in.. If you' do been following along on out blog weatheranchormama.com, we've been doing this wash-n-go series all week long.. So now it's day seven - and this is what her hair looks. Like. We did a couple of options.. Normally, the last day is the day we have fun.. We don't do too crazy de tangling and all of that., As you can see, her style is left over from yesterday. A Dutch braid in the front or cornrow whatever you want to call it.. And what are you doing? She likes to play. Silly girl. Anyway, the cornrow cane row, Dutch braid, whatever in the front. And I kinda gathered this into a messy pony tail for dance. And all I did was gather the hair on top and took a lite scrunchi and made like a cute Little messy bun. Like that and kinda just had the hair, hang loose.. I thought it was a cute style.. I didn't. What I didn't think it was a cute style., Okay. Well, she didn't think it was a cute style, so we ended up doing something else.. She just wanted an Elsa braid.. Yes, you did an Elsa braid.. So now what I wan na go is, and she took her hair out afterwards and she did a good job. Now want to share a protective style that you can also do if it's like wash day, and you want to do something cute., That's what we're gon Na do., so are you gon na take out that last braid Yea.? So let's get started. Her hair is pretty much detangled.. As you can see, I have a rat tail comb., I'm not combing through the entire hair, just the roots here. And I'm gon na. Take this fat tail comb and start here.. I'Ve seen this style done a bunch of times online, but I'd like to start it by her ear and I'll. Explain why in a little bit., I start by twisting the hair like a flat twist updo. We're gon na begin twisting like that, like a two strand, twist. Take the pieces of hair and just twist. We're just going to keep gathering the hair and have her turn Just a little bit. Now, what we're gon na do is tuck whatever is left, so it's all seamless and start pinning and that's it. We'be brown pins to match her hair and tuck. So it looks like one seamless twist.. We just made a twist all the way around and all my gon na do it gently separate to give more volume.. The reason why I started back here is because I wanted more volume here.. This reminds me of a Princess do., Which Princess., I don't know which Princess. It just reminds me of a Princess do. Depending on your hair texture. If you want to use finishing spray, you can, but I don't usually use that on her. And this is it
