Curly Updo

Hi, ladies today, I'm going to show you how to do it, curly updo, and it's going to look like you've grilled, your hair all over, but we're going to cheat a little bit, so it doesn't take as long. But it looks like you spent a long time on it, but you really didn't so we're going to get started. We'Re going to take this front part of our hair, and this side part side pieces right here and this side pieces and we're going to take those and just put it up out of our way we're just going to wrap it like that and put a clip In it, so it's out of our way we're going to curl that last so we're going to take the rest of our hair and we're just going to curl the ends of it. I'M not even going to curl all of my hair, I'm just going to curl the ends and I'm using a curling iron today. So let's get started. Curling just put a little bit of mousse. I use about this much for this much hair. If your hair wasn't as long, you may not need to use it as much mousse, but you don't want to get too much mousse because um, you don't want hard curls, but the miss is really going to help us hold the curl in really good. So um I'm going to curl it all the way around and you don't even have to curl all the way up to your hair, the top of your head. Just we mainly just want the ends: curled um, because we're going to put it up. So it really don't matter if it's curved all the way, and I just feel it when I've got it curled and whenever I start feeling the heat all the way through and these outside hair starts feeling hot. That'S when I knew that it's curled all the way through and that that's when I take it out so I'll sit here and feel it until it feels pretty hot on the outside, and then I know it's ready to come out. You you, okay, now that I got the end curled I'm going to go ahead and separate the curls, and you wrap it around your finger like that to make it more defined. Curl you now that we're done separating we're going to take our hairspray and spray it. You can see just the curl that ends is really curl. This part isn't curl, but that's ok. So I'm going to go ahead and take this part and put it into a ponytail. If you don't want to use a ponytail, because sometimes the ponytail can pull the curls out, you can use a barrette in your hair. But I like to use a ponytail holder because it it's just more secure and then sometimes a barrette will hurt my hair because it won't hold it in this way. Okay, then we're going to take this part down the front part and we're going to curl these. These pieces of our hair with smaller pieces and we're going to curl it all the way to the top. So we're going to make these curls really curly um. We don't want them to be like these. We want them to be different, so I'm going to use smaller pieces of hair and I'm going to curl it all the way to the top and it's going to be a lot curlier. So all the way to the scalp on that, and just do that with all of this hair that we have in the front - and these won't take Islam because there are smaller hairs, you don't have to keep them curled as long you, okay, now that we got These done, we are going to separate these curls and spray them you, okay, now that I got separated I'm going to take these hairs and flip them forward, I'm going to scram and stretch them up so they're bit more curly. Okay, now that I got them sprayed, I'm just going to take him and do like this and just put them up here until I need them. So I'm going to work on the back first, so we're just going to do that, get them out of the way. So we're going to start with the back and I'm going to spray this heart to get it some volume, because my hair doesn't have a lot of volume and I use a ton of hairspray okay. So I'm going to take this part and where the curls start here, I'm going to take my Clips claw clips and I'm going to put one on either side. So I'm going to take it like this and where the curls start, I'm going to take a call, and do you like this so then you have all your curl your in and then you have the rest of it. So I'm going to take this part spray. It and then I'm going to take my clips again and I'm just going to take this part and just pin it take my clips in there and just put some at the top. I just kind of randomly clip this. I really don't have a pattern. I just make sure I have some clipped up here and then I go right here underneath and I clip it down to where it's not just hanging up and here's another one, and then I take that just pull on this spray. It make it bigger. Okay, then, I take all of these curls my ends, and I put it over top of that that big bun that I just made I'm going to take my bobby pins and I'm just gon na. Take it C and pin, pin it everywhere again, no rhyme or reason just taking it and pinning it up, and this always turns out better when you're not trying to do a hair tutorial video, because you can't really see as good what you're doing so. I'M just spraying these curls making sure none sticking out funny. Okay, so here's what I got so far. So then we're going to take this down and we are going to take our bobby pins. Let'S see, I like doing a little curly scoop thing, so I leave some in front right here, but I'm going to take the rest of this here in the back. I'M going to leave these sides here. Take this part: let's see if I can get it and getting this part confused with yeah. This is part of this. Okay, I'm going to take this with my bobby pins and we're just going to pin these back here so they'll stay and I'm going to spray. This into place, so it's not just like randomly sticking up looking weird, then I'm going to take these sides right here. Take my bobby, pin and bobby pin it in place. I do like a crisscross with my bobby pins like this, to make sure it stays pretty good and I'm going to take this and spray this part. Then we go over here and I'm going to get some little hairs down like that. Then you take this part and do the same thing. I'Ve got some of my bun getting in the way over here now. I'Ve got a part right here where I have my hair parted, so I'm gon na have to fix that. I'M just going to take these curls and scoot them over, so I can hide my part and this down pulling them to get some poof going on here. Okay and then you take this part. Finally, and let's see I'm going to separate this curl poof it up a little bit like that, you take this part and loosely put it back here like don't pull it real tight, but do it nice and loose and we take a bobby pin and we put It in there okay, then we got all this extra, a little cutting the hair going on everywhere. So you can take this part and we're just going to pin it down. I'Ve got this big long one and I'm going to pull on this a little bit, because I, like my hair, a little bit more bigger poop. Oh, I need to get some little hairs down from here. I can get me probably should have done that before I pulled all this back, not really coming down as it. Okay, it's not really working we're all like hairsprayed in there or something okay. Then I'm going to take these and you, I definitely feel good, but oh well, and then I take my hairspray and spray all these little bitty hairs and just probably put them up under there. Let me check it to make sure it looks good. There needs to be a couple: curls pin, okay, when you're dying, you just spray it again and there you go. You have a curly updo and it looks like you curled it all the way to the roof, but it really didn't take as long as it look like it took and there you go.
