Hey friends, welcome back to my channel. I hope you enjoyed the first video for my five days of curls. This is, of course, day number two, and I thought I would share a really quick, simple updo. It is my go-to updo when my hair either needs to be refreshed, but I don't at the time, if I'm just kind of bored of my typical wearing it out or a bun look. I want something a little bit more interesting. If I'm having one of those days with at the top, it's just flat, no matter what I do, but I do have some volume at the bottom or some definition at the bottom. This is a great way to highlight the positive now, if you are out there with fine curly hair, you need to take advantage of this, because there are people with really thick long hair. That was long to do this look, but it won't work and it is ideal for fine, curly hair, because you're really only putting a little bit of hair up into the front area. The rest is slicked back and you know you don't really have that much. Hair density anyway, so really it's like all of our hair at the top, but it gives the illusion of just being. You know part of the hair so for this video I'm going to be using products from Maui, Moisture, Maui moisture is an affordable brand that you can find in most drugstores smells absolutely edible and they cater to various hair textures. So what I'm going to be using today is an oil mist just to freshen up the curls that are going to be at the top, but just like the sides in the back, I'm gon na be using the Maui Meister curl quench coconut oil, curl smoothie. My thought process behind this is typically when I would do looking up to like that. I might spray it with water or use some kind of edge control gel or something what happens is when the product is really wet like that or if you are using water. You know what you know: what happens your hair just ends up looking so see-through if you have fine hair, and so I'm gon na go with the smoothie, because I'll be able to get this slicked back a bit without it being as see-through or like in. You know exposing so much scalp. Of course it's gon na probably expose some that's how my hair is, but it won't be as drastic okay. So to start off, I'm just gon na use my scrunchie to hold my hair in place. I take some of the curl smoothie, I'm gon na take a brush and just lightly brush it and again we're gon na just like lightly brush drink up or get it as smooth as you can so that you can then just do a little bit of a Rolling action like that perfect and then I'm going to use these clips that I have through the top. So now I'm gon na fix it up to make it more secure. You can either use really tiny jaw clips or you can also use some bobby pins again. If they match your hair color that's ideal now you just go in secure it with your bobby pin, so one on each side. I like to do something in the middle as well, because you know when the wind hits and all that - and things are really great for you know lifting your bangs. If you want to adjust the length and all that or even just to create volume on top just to keep it in place again, if you can conceal them, that's great. I'M gon na just finish off with a little oil mist spray just to add a little bit shy. Nin there I'm doing this on old scrunch it just a little bit and that's the finished. Look, I always like to add some dramatic earrings, since we are doing it up. It'S always fun dearly. You can stop here. But if you are from the more is more lifestyle II, you like a little bling little drama, a little over-the-top pizzazz. So I have these bobby pins here we have some, I'm just gon na go in and slide some in now. You want to make sure that you execute this pretty well, so that you don't have people just coming up to you trying to take lint out of your hair and the main way to do that is just by you know adding enough. But it's obvious. It'S a intentional thing: I'm making sure that the ends are actually sticking out, visibly so that you can see them. Of course, I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did, please give it a thumbs up to. Fine Curls: Love this do!! I love doing this do for special occasions because it looks very elegant I have fine, curly hair too. Your videos are so helpful thank you Charmsie
dizzyk54: Love this !! thanks!! It looks great, I'm going to try it! ....Vicki
Vnatural49: Very nice! Your curl pattern is like my daughter's. I have to do more work to get my hair like that than you do. I still need to use water, a curl smoothie and gel. Then secure my hair with a hair band. The clips that you use would not hold my updo tight enough. I also have to wet the ends and pull gel through in order for it to curl. Once dry the curls will stay without having to rewet and reapply gel everyday. Great channel you have!
kimriv07: “so that you dont have people just coming up to trying to take lint out your hair” I always double think using these bobby pins for that same reason!! I would have to put alot to make it look intentional and that always seemed like a lot of work! I guess I’ll try it out!
