Boho Braids On Natural Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel and if you are new here open up, I am Alana Simone we're gon na go ahead and jump into the video for today. So I have been getting so many DMS from people telling me to try the boho braids on natural hair. So that's what we're going to be doing today, I'm going to be trying it out. I'Ve seen some really really really cute ones and I'm like if mine, don't if mine don't come out like that, oh I'm, gon na be real salty. We don't have a problem. We'Re gon na have a pot and that's gon na ruin my week, because I will have spent hours on a hairstyle that came out trash, so we're gon na hope for the best and we're gon na go ahead and get started. But before we do don't forget to subscribe, if you have not already, my hair is what is this doing? This is actually from the last video that I did. This was from the third twist out style that I did the blow dried hair and then I did the twists. So it's been in this bun all week, really cute y'all see what's going on so I got started without y'all. We have the first row done um. I think I think they're coming out all right, we're just going to continue with this process y'all I got somewhere to be in like four hours, so I'm hoping I'm hoping it's not going to take any longer than that all right. So I'm just adding a little bit of gel and I am starting with a regular braid. So let me zoom in for y'all and we're starting with our braid, hey Ray and then, when you get like right here, you're gon na take one little hair out and put it in your mouth and that's why I'm wearing a lip gloss? Okay, mm-hmm and I've decided that if they don't stick to your lips, like this you're, not doing something right so and then you just take some gel and just shingle shingle, some gel through the pieces that are left out and that's really it. That is really the end of it and just hope that when they dry, you know it's a little look all right and we're gon na just move it along. We listen, we are making our way downtown and we are walking fast, okay, but you guys get the gist of it. I think it's really cool honestly, because I have only seen um, of course, prior to like this method. I'Ve only seen boho braids done with added hair, it's really nice to have a different look and just be able to wear your natural hair and still do the same style. You know, I think, that's really cool all right, so the back half well, the back quadrant is done so now we're going to start working our way up to the front y'all my arms already hurting. I I don't know how y'all do this. This might be a one and done style for me because yeah okay, is this gon na be three braids one. Should we make this three? Maybe we can choose three, nothing too crazy, that rhymed, okay. I started at nine, it's been an hour and 15 minutes, so I'm thinking maybe another two hours, I'm not too sure y'all. All we can do is hope. I do have brunch at 2 30 and it is 10 15 now so I hope I started early enough. What'D I say y'all it's going to be interesting to see how these hold up throughout the week, though I feel like I'm probably gon na have to maybe refresh the the curly pieces. I don't foresee them looking like this all week. I could be wrong, but I think I'm right so what I started doing is just putting a little troll up before I start the braid um just to help the braid lay a little bit more flat and this actually works out perfectly because I'm pretty sure it's Supposed to rain today, so I'm, like you, know it's a good thing - I'm not wearing the curls out, because I knew that that would have been game over game over. I'M scared to lick my lips young, because I already know I'm gon na be tasting all this gel and edge control. All right, y'all might be onto something here. I think this is so cute. Oh, and let me see what time it is. It is 11 o'clock. We are, we are moving moving and grooving here, so we only have this section left to go. I think by one o'clock I should be. I should be wrapping it up Dan. I really hope that these curly pieces don't do me like the synthetic hair and start getting all matted after the second day. Thank God, I didn't freshly cut my hair before this because y'all like how would I be able to do this and then, once I slick the baby hairs? Oh it's gon na be a look. I think we have maybe one two, maybe three more rows of braids and then we should be done and then we should be a done. I'M wondering if I want to add like some some gold accessories when I'm done. I haven't quite figured that out yet, but I think it could be cute. I just don't want it to be too much. You know what I mean. I don't want it to be like OD d, so you guys can see I stopped about here and then I add some gel and do the same method, finger coil the end and go in and add some product to the left out pieces. When you get the the last cut and it was like more of a heart shape - and it's like - oh my, oh, my God, it's using your face so, like you said, is, is how does hella Miami so I'm ready for another cut? I am ready. She doesn't really um sure, but the literally means they never know what trim means. People think that a trim and that's that's, why I don't trust a lot of people because you say trim granted. It'S rare that I do a trim because I usually do like a drastic cut, but I feel like when you say trim. They think that that means a full-on cut it. That'S not what it means: okay, comfortable enjoying my French toast in peace not trying to bloat. I feel you because my biggest thing, like all women or muscle them in, but I really get loaded when a rice, bread or cheese or cheese. That'S you too, yeah. Absolutely! Oh, my God. This girl said sucking her soul. I am sick, oh my God. Already on the big girl we working we moving. Yes, I love it. I'M just looking at technique. Your cousin was trying to teach me how to do the soup, tea method and my swoops wasn't stupid. Like yours, I'm telling you girl, I think it's the flick of the wrist honestly, if I'm being real with you, it's the flick of the wrist right right yeah. Let me tie her down before she starts acting up. I know how she likes to get her because I know everybody's. Obviously texture is different, so it may take longer for some people's parents to lay down how you want it or how long do you keep it around um, I mean depends probably like 10-15 minutes. Nothing too crazy, because you know you leave it on too long, and now you got that crease in your forehead, hahaha girl, I'm telling you you can't play games with that, because that crease be taking forever what time girl? What time is it? What time we got? Ta leave what kind of top would you wear with that? I'M getting ready to go to brunch with my friend we're over here, trying to pick out outfits and whatnot. Let me know if any other females do this. I feel like it's just a thing like you call each other: what's the vibe, what we wearing we doing heels we're not doing heels like top and show you how it looks. Okay, yeah, you really got a girl with this South Florida heat. You can't just be throwing on anything. You got ta really put some thought into your outfits. Exactly that's the thing you got ta pick colors that don't look that bad when you sweat, you know what I'm saying like we are on the last braid y'all. We did it just took me about three and a half hours, not too bad okay, so we're done we're slicking a quick little Edge. Now I think I'm gon na add some gold pieces just to Jazz her up a little bit, because why not? This is definitely a cute little summer. Look though, I will say that I am very happy that I tried this out. I like this skirt. Let me see the skirt with that other top yeah, it's giving like we're going to the office come on now. That'S how we come in, let me see, let me see oh yeah. Oh all, right friend, I'll see you soon bye, we're just about done, but before I take this off, I'm gon na go do a little lip because I feel like she's, giving very much chapped, giving very much dried up gel dried up edge control, so we're gon Na go handle that oh. I am so sorry that I doubted this method. Oh okay, I'll miss something with this hello. Let me turn around to the back. So y'all can see. I don't know what the back looks like y'all. So so just keep that in mind, but well that is it for this video.
