What'S good everybody, you already know what it is when I'm here so is. She today is another see 3000 everybody we are here together. So since I look more beautiful than she ran over to try to make her look a little bit better. Today'S video is gon na be a little bit different. In fact, we're gon na be going on a little bit of gangsta great, but also I'm very excited, because I get to try out a new tool and she gets to be the guinea pig. So to do this, video with us grab your plates. I mean your friends and you see sirs, get together and pick and choose who's gon na do who first I'll be doing a man to serve today as per usual and we're gon na be giving her a lovely. Blowout look sounds good, okay, so good, alright. Without further ado, let's get to it, do it do it, do it do it? So, let's take a look at Amanda's before here, her curls, which are looking a fire. It'S quite a shame that we have to do this, but you know loss having good you David, but I haven't really excited to try this trainer. I have to treat my hair in a very long time so say yes, so let us see what we're going to do here so we're gon na be watching men's hair. So let me show you what we're gon na use. This is a clarifying shampoo. It'S a sulfate free, clarifying shampoo used by professionals you can find out on Amazon. This is something I'd love to use in the salon. It'S got a high pH which what this will do really cleanse the hair without overdoing it so we'll remove any curly product build-up, that she's got and then, after we're gon na go in with full flex number five conditioner, which is gon na, give her a little Bit of extra bone strengthening before we go in and damage to the hell out of your hair, so we're gon na do that? Okay, great! So now that she smells good, and here feels really nice, soft and hydrated olaplex conditioner. Let me just ranch real quick is incredible: she's gon na hiding it from me, so they don't use it, but this is the first time I use it. It'S nice! So now we're gon na get straight into the blow-dry. You have to blow-dry the hair as smooth as possible first in order to get lasting results. This is that what you would call a silk press, your I am I'm going to detangle with my wet brush a bit post special. So I'm just detangling, Amanda's hair and the problem for you to be using is going to be a still complex product to just really gon na help to smooth through putable as well, so the cheese silk infusion, which is a silk restructuring complex. So it's going to help repair and protect the hair. While we heat things up, I will be applying that in sections, because I want to make sure I can even distribution in any case when you were styling hair, whether it's gon na be straight or it's gon. Na be curly, you better make sure you get it all over the place evenly I'll, be taking a small amount of product through each section, wipe off any excess in the tunnel through so now it's a blow-dry I'll be using my Dyson blow-dryer with this concentrator nozzle And using a rounded ceramic brush, so we're gon na speed through this process, because it's going to be a long one. So here's the key points that you need to know one you want to make sure you have even he protected all over the hair and I always start towards the ends. Of course you don't want to take a section size. That'S too big for you and handle you typically want to stay within the diameter of your brush size too. It'S good to have a concentrated nozzle on the on the phone dryer, which is gon na help direct your air flow and help to seal that cuticle, always pointing downwards 3 I'll, be using a ceramic brown brush which is going to allow me to create some heat. While I'm real drying to already start the smoothing process, by doing this, I let's work with the Flatiron, also the kinkier in tighter the curl, the smaller of around what you want to get speaking it even closer into the root, I'm always started in every area. You want to drive the route first, really getting good tension, really kind of scooping the hair, good tension pulling down and smoothing the hair as you go along by following these steps, you will minimize any type of heat damage and your curl to be healthy and happy. Once again in the past, I have never been able to just smooth out her hair this easily and I'm not quite sure what change protects, your hands and change your textures bonk earlier. She has it's not as kind of a curl as mine, but her hair is thicker and coarser. You have to smooth it out really smooth and I've never been able to get it. This smooth with the bow dryer and the round brush. Maybe I've gotten better. It could be: we've never used these products on you before yeah. That'S it it's a little bit like silk, which could be the cheese silk and also could be a combination of the old flex as well. Now we're looking crazy crazy. What I'm gon na do is to set this volume on top and to set the bangs I'm using a Velcro roller. I'M gon na put this guy in the top of your head here right in the back area and when I do this want to make sure again, I've got good tension. So I'm going to take my section and with any roller set, the section cannot be any larger than the roller or it will not sit properly because we have to flat iron Amanda's hair, even though it looks amazingly smooth many giggles. Let'S show the people how you are looking, we have to flat iron it because the moment she steps outdoors, especially because it's humid right now, her hair is going to be curly. So we need to seal it with the flat iron plus. It is a little puffy. So it's just gon na lock everything in so now. I'M gon na show you guys. Oh yes, flat iron, your hair, which is going to be super easy because we just did all the work with the blow dryer so now without further ado. The new tool this guy. This thing that has multiple attachments to change the flat iron into a waver and also to a crimper, which I don't have and I needed some like wow. This is like everything in one, so it's super cool, so it comes with like little waivers. These are the waiver plates, so you have to just stick them right into the flat iron and then it becomes a waiver right now. I just have the regular straight iron in there, because that's what I'm going to be doing to medicine but they're actually curved. I don't know if you can see that one is curved and the other one is concave. Let'S turn this on and because the medicine is already so smooth, I do not have to go in with high heat half the work is already done so this flat. I grew up to 380, a third of 340, a telltale sign, see if your flat iron is too hot, because if you take the fire into the hair and the hair of your coat, it looks like stringy 23c and it kind of like pumps, weird and use Your bladder and is way too hot for your hairs turn it down so started 340. I'M so excite this exception is that kind of go along then airline, so with the curved plate. Sorry do we have to drop for me, but I like to turn the flat iron as and write it down here when you're doing curly hair. It'S really nice to give the ends a bit of a of that curves finish that guy's, if you're doing a blowout or instead of just wearing it completely straight to mask any of those layers that you have in your ears. So it's not just stick straight. It still has some body and movement, so I know I'm gon na get this question know how, often to straight my hair, it's a bad strategy. Often how often is too often nice, it's a cool. Look at your hair. Your hair holds the answers. What do your problems look like? Do you have heat damage Heath damage you can tell you, have you damaged if your curls are not curling and are straight the curls or stringy? What can you do to prepare this? Give yourself a good shrimp. Do some repairing treatments, make sure you're doing your deep conditioning treatments and then just look at how your hair flourishes and then you can straighten your hair. I always just try to avoid doing it right after a color treatment. Now amanda has not done her color since November, it's been like six months still looking flawless. Thank you very much. Little people ask: what's the difference between a silk press and straightening her hair now so press is it's essentially just straightening up hair, but there's a different process in between you have to completely blow drying the hair extremely smooth first and then go in and Flatiron, and Then you can even set the hair after to really seal it in so there's a couple extra steps when you're doing a soul press, but really it's just to get it nice and silky and smooth - and this is giving it just enough heat finish it off, so That the sky will will last and hopefully Amanda - does not have to touch up with this guy throughout the week, see how I brought everything on the top back, I'm curving back or it's just the same way as it did the round brush we mimic the blowout. Look this whole time going to give us more body. You know what I mean about about it or Bobby to the hair. Let me show them what I mean by bowing boom, yes hold on, I'm feeling inspired, because we also happen to just buy some gorgeous clips from Amazon. Pearls are in everybody. It'S the year of the pearl, something I've also really loved. Doing now is a diagonal part. So you start deep and you work towards the center what it does it helps to keep the balance of both sides of the head. So if you just comb this back, I don't use any product because we do not want to make your hair. You know gross. How is so fresh and so clean, clean mm-hmm and another clip? Please that's cute. That'S cute, I'm gon na add one more because I'm feeling so inspired this one's really cute. It'S like an infinity, and here everybody there's a final outcome. She doesn't need anything else in her hair right now, if needed later, on, serums or hair help me seal the ends, but right now it's got nice volume. The end nice and sealed the style is complete on its own couple. Clips like this really really cute. To add, for a nice night style or just to finish off the look you're trying to go to the events curly or straight. Thank you guys so much for watching and we're gon na close out this video with our positive commenting question of the week. So our positive comment, I was actually a positive, such funny comment, it's from ash and our question of the week. I think this one is for me: do you have any tips on how to minimize volume mhm? That'S something you don't hear every day. That'S not true! You can wear your hair, no matter how big it is, but if you are trying to shrink the volume use more product and the product you especially want to be using is gel. Cuz gel will hold the hair and then don't scrunch out the cast. Just leave that in try to air dry, you can even apply the product by really brushing down through the complete opposite of everything that I teach. Maybe I'll do a video on how to get less volume. But for now we are out - and we will see you guys next week and every single Tuesday, with a brand new video sure again that face tho he's just my maid for this okay Amanda come here come come out now. You know the gray hair boy. Don'T know I told you have a green hair, it's right there, I'm serious, stop wan na cut it out, I'm gon na it up. Are you serious I'll pluck it are you serious? Are you sure so I'll just blonde get it trophy just rolling with the reaction? Wasn'T as good as I thank you for watching and as you can see, I am more tan than Amanda at the moment for it's, a batteries escape route for The Sopranos and, literally speaking, renounce merry. Men has other things to do.

Anna Suarez: Yesssss a curly hair you tuber who doesn’t forbid straightening your hair

JejuanM: You have no idea how badly I want to fly to Canada just to throw my money at you to do my hair! You both are rocking your styles in this video!

shay p: if i had that much hair like amanda... i wouldn't know how to act i'd be feeling myself every day

Ellen Crane: Your videos don't even feel like I'm watching a video waiting for you to get to the results, it's like I'm hanging out with you guys doing hair. Love it keep it up!

Livi Smith: Omg Mell! I've been planning to straighten my hair, that flat iron tip was great! I never know what temp to use and my hair always comes out greasy or puffy And OOF THE BAWDY! Giving me 80s hair vibes with the clips and part

10KewlPerson10: Your Seester's hair is looking so much bouncier and curlier!

Araceli Schlosser: Thank you for picking the "need less volume" question. I have a lot of hair and I don't enjoy having the huge mane of curls. Even with shrinkage my curls are down to my waist/hips. I'll have to try putting in more gel and see if that helps a bit. Thanks!

Jessika: I love your videos! Since I started watching & using your techniques my curls have come back to life ♥️♥️

Miguelina Reyes: Gorgeous hair! Thanks for the tips!

Rachael Soglin: This is the best blowout how-to for curly hair I have ever tried in my life. I used Olaplex 6 and Redken One United on each section prior to blowing (was the closest I could come to the CHI you used) and I am never looking back. I didn't even have my nozzle attachment handy. Cannot believe the results.

Sandy Turner Taylor: Thank you so much for this video...I would love to straighten my hair as it’s natural curly just like your sisters that you did...and this video gave me hope that I do my hair too...I because the humidity always got to mine but I always let mine air dry and straightened it with iron from there and it took me an hour just to do that...but once the humidity hit it...even after the best products...a big frizzy mess!!!

Chanel C: The blowout with out straightening looked very 80s/90s im digging it.

Briana Miller: Yes please do the video on less volume. When I wear my hair curly I get so anxious that my hair is growing to 3x the size of my body. It gets HUGE.

Hailey Hailey: I love the seester videos, and great tips once again

Granny P: Love you and these amazing videos! I would love to see a video on hair parting for curly hair, especially us curly girl with bangs!

Vianney Arlene: Mell your eyelashes are incredibly beautiful. Please do a video on how you apply mascara, what mascara you use, and how you take care of your lashes. Please!!!!

Juntasing S.: Amanda is gorgeous no matter curly or straight hair Seesters goal tho

Marine Azad: I luv Amanda's curly natural hair more...she is blessed with beautiful thick hair ❤

DreamBrush: "if your hair has looks greasy after straightening, that's when the heat was too high" now I see why my hair was suffering so much in the past the curls were way too hot and I wondered why I would frizz up afterwards, even if I only used the flat iron few times per year

Anasta Anam: I just found your channel a few days ago and i keep binge watching you!!! Mell you are tooooo funny And you both are seriously gorgeous!!

Holly K: Amanda and Mell are both serious babes! Thanks for all the tips as well, it's been helping with my journey!

Natalie Jones: I need a style for my weird length bangs! I’m trying to grow them out and now I look crazy. But thank you so much for all your help with my newly started hair journey!

Rae Grimblot-Mayes: I've been doing a silk press since I was 12... Who knew!! And your seesters hair looks fan.tas.tic. I love having big thick hair, curly or straight!!

ale aguilar: Mell, I love your earrings..and that was a great blow out. Amanda, your hair looks great either way

Kaitlyn Unger: Love your videos - thank you!

Katherine Liriano: I have just as much hair as Amanda but my curl type is a little tighter, I think. It is wavy toward the top because of the weight of it and more curly at the bottom. Idk, curl types are too confusing for me. With that much hair is hard for me to determine how much product is too much or how much is too little, it tangles soo much and I couldn't possibly wear it short without literally rocking a lion's mane.

PhantomAgent93: Girl, you're a professional!! Her hair is lit

Kayligh w: I straightened my hair or wore it in a tight pony tail for 25 years. Then after I learned to do my hair (I have like half wavy half curly hair)from watching YouTube videos I vouched to never straighten my hair again and I haven’t in over 7 years. I do have my hair stylist straighten it when I get a trim/cut but only because she doesn’t know how to do my hair‍♀️ but that’s ones every 4+ months

Shastidy Moustakas: Both of your hairs look amazing!!! I wish I had your talent

Veil Break: I used to crimp my hair back in the 80s! Crimp it, then brush and back comb ...we had huge hair! I never had a flat iron attachment. I didnt see a flat iron till the 90s...surely they must have existed, if a crimper existed?

April C.: Getting Jennifer Jason Leigh vibe from Fast Times at Ridgemont High! I used to have my hair straightened every 6 weeks at the salon. Haven’t done any straightening in 5 years. Trying to avoid heat damage. Amanda’s hair is beautiful curly or straight.

Hen: I think because she takes care of her hair better, the blowout ended up looking better.

Divine Levine Vegan: Yes. Less volume. Can you find a low porosity, high density medium to coarse texture type 2b model for this?

Bob Pocock: Even more gorgeous when it's straight

H L: Hi Mell! I love your sisters hair colour, I use to have dark brown hair and decided to do balayage but i want a similar look to Amanda’s hair, i’ve found it difficult to explain what I want to hairdressers and for them to actually achieve the results i’m looking for. Would you please be able to tell me what hair colour and technique i should ask for ???

Shalini Ramachandrappa: It is a product review of your flat iron but you did it very professionally. Thumbs up

Emilia Dream: Hey I love your videos!! I was wondering what colour Amanda got her hair dyed/what she asked for at the salon? I have the same colour that she has and I want to highlight it without it looking too harsh and natural like hers!

lalalalala: Amanda looks like a goddess from the 90's with straight hair

Archana P: I love you both and the way you say 'seester' you are so funny (in a good way ❤️)

BigFat RedMoon: Hi..I love your vids Is it true if I took smaller sections and run the flat iron once is better to prevent hair damage?

Gloria: I love you ladies! Thanks for the tips!

A. C.: Dang it! Sephora’s VIB/Rouge sale ended yesterday and I forgot to include Olaplex in my order!

Silvana Stephanie: Is it possible to get it straight enough with just the blowdryer?

Brenda Esparza: Love your videos

Navi: My hair is definitely not that curly but mine is like 2a underneath near my neck and then changes to to 2b as the hairs reach to the outside of my hair on top but a lot of times it's a mix with both hair types throughout my hair and my hair is also thick and frizzy so I'm not sure what types of products I'm meant to be using or techniques to make my hair not frizzy and messy looking lol someone help me please

Sofia Duran: It's so pretty!

Lori Dupuy: Oh my goodness..i just found you...gurl where you been all my life? You are too funny! Ill be binge watching your videos tonight! The silicone video really caught my attention. Keep up the great work!

abbycole99: I love yalls seeester videos!! They always make me laugh!

una: I wish I had a seester like you to straighten my hair probably :'(

Sarah Ortiz: What does product does she use to bring her hair back to life after putting heat on it?

Jean Keats: You guys are very entertaining and great video but never pluck a hair out. You can damage the follicle and no hair will grow back, yikes!

Bubbly Pumpkin : lol Mell's face at the end, "wait... some people don't like .. volume...?" *robot voice * does not compute.

ladyybridge1: I just started watching all your videos and I LOVVVEE LOVVVEEE THEM! YOU ARE TOO FUNNY.

liz: do you have a video on how to style long curly hair like your sisters? i have about the same length but i feel like the product isn’t always evenly distributed

Sydney Elizabeth: new subbie!! you guys are both so gorgeous wow

Sailor Mars: Love you guys!? Could you recommend a good affordable clarifying shampoo cause ya girl got a super dry scalp and the flakes have been going crazy and I just don’t know what to do anymore to keep them at ease or atleast postpone my wash day. Rn I washing like twice a week n it’s like all in front of my scalp or like behind my ears. Right now I use a scalp scrub and put oil on my scalp after shower n that helps but sometimes my hair needs more and also I just hate the beads from the scalp scrub they are so hard to get out

Lilah: i feel like i can feel the smoothness

Kirsten Tessen: I can’t get OVER HOW BEAUTIFUL AMANDA IS

2445 Ego: Your seester has a lot of hair. You def got an arm work out. You did great it looks good!

Lorena Vasconcellos: Girls, loved the video!!! And Mel, your hairdo tho <3 looks gorg. What did you do? Just a pony, double pony for length?

Moriah Loomis: How do I style my hair if I want it out of my face, but I don’t want to put it up?

QueenFairyPants: What have you done to your SEEEEEEEESTER!!! Just kidding, Amanda has amazing hair!

Brianna Nickz: I’m 22 and have a patch of straight up silver hair but my curly/wavy hair kind of hides it hah

kefrin hida: Do you have any tips for how to keep your hair in good condition when your swimming a lot, I’m constantly in the ocean surfing or diving and when I come out my hair is sooo dry and distrusting, any products you would use maybe prior to going in the ocean or even after? :)

Jean Keats: The girl with the dark hair does not need to do anything. Her hair is perfect.

Claudia Okyere-Fosu: Sounds good

FLAVOURS of VILLAGE in CITY: Please make a video for less volume as I have thick and volumised wavy hair

Gail Dudlicek: You two are gorgeous SEESTERS!!

jamba jackson: Could u do a hair video with a middle part sleek tucked behind both ears were it stays all day.

Harley: Omg i have the same hair length as amanda, could you show us how she gets it cut, mainly her bang area? My layers are one whole mess

Megan Parker: AMANDA your curls are poppin!!!

gloria guerrero: So fresh and so clean clean

Tiffany Guido: i love it and I love you two !!

AliceinWonderlust: Get it girll!!

Carina Branson: Can we talk hair dryers?! I'd also like to hear from Amanda if possible! Much love!

Desjrèe Saba: I love the curly hair

Fionn mac Cumhaill's Mammy: Nice job but her curls are just gorgeous, reminds me of a young Mariah Carey

Nezsa Burns: GORGEOUS!!

Jessi Krueger: I just realized how much Amanda looks like Ariel (the disney mermaid) with that hairstyle!!

Ruby Moorman: Hugs & loves you 2 seesters. Great video, as always.

Andrea Ramirez: Video on how your sister has grown her long hair!

J O: Is Amanda older or younger? You guys are so awesome together!

Ariana Carrasquillo: You should do a video where instead of diffusing you let your hair air dry

Pearlz: It’s the Chi silk ....does wonders!

Sandy Turner Taylor: Please add me on FB and look at my photos of my natural curly hair and I would love tips on ways to style my hair straight and curly...please and thank you...y’all rock!!!

Josephine Cabrera: Please do a video on how your seester got that hair color ; the process or what it’s called if I were to want this

Kelsey238: Can you do a review on the revair blow dryer?

Lolita: Heey.. really need to know how does your sister do her hair ): her curls looks really smooth and big

SGG: Love you and your sis! Both are wonderful girl ,two different together ICE AND FIRE ❤❤❤❤

no po: Thats me, I like less volume. But I don't like the feel of a hard cast

Alex figari: Could you do a video of your stylist journey/school

Iael BornToSing: Mell, you look amazing with that ponytail

kinzer: My fave seesters!

Brenda Jimenez: can you do a video on hair cuts ? :)

Cesia Saravia: LOVE THE SEESTERS!!!

GLAM ft Mamasdolly: What is cheaper alternative to the olaplex thou

Cinzia Rota: Amanda is waaaay more beautiful with curls ;)

Desiree Moreno: Curls also better then straight hair 4 life!!!!!‍‍‍‍

Vernie11: LUS product is made from Canada hope you review this product leave in all in one

Lee Trader: OMG.... I totally feel the question About less volume.... all the things you said will work but you look crunchy then.... and too much product isn’t really a great thing either... she’s got to find the right product for control.... honestly, Cantu makes a great custard to reduce volume and kinky curl y also has a great custard for that.... I wonder how long her hair is.... mine is just past my shoulders, and I’ve had to embrace the happy hooker look until it gets longer... otherwise when I use the products mentioned I end up looking like goldy locks.... and I just can’t.... anyway, hope you do a video on less volume... that would be different.
