But today I have a new video and it is how to get this silly ponies hello, and this is my first time wearing extensions or weave, and it was very hard - and this is very long. It was hard because I have a lot of hair. So what I'm gon na do is just start by sectioning off my hair, giving myself that deep part or whatever type of part that you want so once you have that part you're going to go ahead and start to section off your hair. I have thicker hair. So I take my hair in sections, so I like slick the bottom down. Then I stick the top down and then I brush it all together to give me the best sleekness. Is that a word to give me the you know, I'm saying, and for this I am taking my eco styler gel so, like I said, I'm just going to start to put the gel on and start to brush my hair starting at the bottom. Going all the way to the top of my hair and I like to take a rat's outcome or just a comb to comb it out and just get like the bumpy's out and just to make it more smooth once you've combed it out. You can go ahead and follow up with the hard bristle brush. So for this you want a hard bristle brush, not a wave brushing, especially if you have curly hair, because a wave brush just like intensifies your curls or intensifies your waves. So you don't want to do that when you're trying to do is sleek hairstyle, so you want a hard bristle brush. Also, I forgot to mention that I tied up the front portion of my hair. The part that's gon na be like this swoop, so it can be out of my way, so I can just focus on pulling my hair back, like all the rest of my head, so I am just gon na focus on pulling my hair back sleeping the rest Of my hair down first and I'm gon na put that in a ponytail and then focus on my sweet, so this whole process is trial and error trial on air. Like literally I did this for like an hour. This is probably like the hardest hair cell and it's like the easiest at the same time, so don't get frustrated just keep trying and trying and you'll you'll get it now, I'm starting on my actual swoop. So I'm really gon na go section by section just to focus on it to make sure it's very, very smooth with no bumps again it's about making it as smooth as possible. So I'm just gon na keep a reapplying gel, keep using my comb and my brush. So now that I'm content with my swoop, I'm just gon na go back in and redo like my whole ponytail, so sleek it down one more time and then put it in my actual ponytail that I'm going to use for this look alright guys. So this is the final look. This is your swoop. This is your baddie. You know your baddie. Look your baddie here. So this is it. That'S it. I'M just kidding so you're, just gon na go ahead and put your hair in a ponytail and we'll fix this smooth later another tip to having a really sleek ponytail is a tight ponytail. It might be a little uncomfortable, but you can't have a sleek look. If your ponytail is loose easily, okay, so now we're gon na actually fix our swoop, and this part is so frustrating so just bear with me, because I refix it like a million times, so you can go in with a toothbrush to make it smoother. I'M still not 100 % happy with my swoop, but I'm just gon na move on. Do my edges start my ponytail and then I will come back again into my swoop. Okay, so now moving into the ponytail. I honestly was so scared, because do you see always head like, I didn't know how I was gon na hide, my hair in the weave, like I yeah. Basically, I just took some conditioner and then I just made two plats and then I just hit the weave in that, and I know my swoop still doesn't look good or the side of my hair still doesn't look good, I'm still gon na fix it. So don't worry and I brought it to my attention that I like Zona or don't blink when I'm recording my videos - and I just noticed it - and Here I am again just zoning out okay. So now that I'm done with my braids, I'm just gon na go ahead and start to do my ponytail with the weave, and I got this hair from she's happy here. I don't know why. I left okay yeah. I got this hair from she's happy here, and this is not sponsored. I paid my own money for this, but anyways. So if you do have long thick hair, this is the method I would suggest to you. I actually saw another youtuber, do this method and it works so you're just going to start wrapping your hair around the bottom of your braids and bobby. Pin it in this is the only way I found that actually hides the braids. I try to just start wrapping. It around the ponytail and it didn't work. My braid was still coming out and it was like this big bump. I try to do a bun, but my bun was too big because I have so much hair. So if you have a lot of thick curly hair, I would suggest this method. Yeah you're, just gon na continue to wrap the hair around and around the braids and then just bobby pin it like every ever so often. You know I'm saying, and I know you guys are probably wondering why I'm using weave again, like I said in my intro, I've, never used weave before I've never felt weave in my hair. But I thought it was really cool because you know to straighten my hair. Takes about two hours and who has time for that just to make a video on a sleek ponytail, so this is actually very convenient and anytime. I want to have straight. Hair boom takes five minutes so now, once I'm at the top, and I'm done wrapping it around my hair, I'm just gon na take a bobby pin to secure it, and then I'm gon na take some weave from like the back of the ponytail and I'm just Going to wrap that around my like ponytail, so you don't see the tracks okay, and that is all you do to get this little sleek ponytail again, you can go back and fix your little swoop. If you want to. I think I am again because I just wasn't satisfied but yeah guys. That'S really all you have to do. It'S very convenient, like I said, who wants to share in their hair just for like one night like if you want to you know, look different. You going out something you know just put on this little ponytail. It takes five minutes, not even so.
