I visited a natural hair salon for a trim over a year ago, and ended up having to cut my long type 4 natural hair. Since then, I have decided to visit a natural hair salon and get a professional trim on my natural hair every three months. Hey y'all, it's Sheree, what's up back with another video, if you are new here and you've never seen my face, but you, like my face, definitely be sure to subscribe, so you can stick around today. We are here from my salon visit y'all. If you haven't seen my previous alarm, there's a video, you can check it out right here, actually I'll create a salon visit playlist. So you can see all of my previous Salon visits and usually I try to get a trim every three months. January 2022 was my first Salon visit and I had to cut off basically all my hair, all my hair, a significant portion of my hair. I did not know the severity of my ends. My ends were ratchet baby I'll ratchet and I didn't know because in curly Styles micro looks cute, but when that when we got that heat to them ends, they will see true now see through see true. So I've learned my lesson and I committed to getting trims every three months. Unfortunately, I have to push this trim back, so this is actually a trim after four months. So Lord knows what my ends are going to look like. Y'All I've been doing a lot of rod, sets braid outs like just a bomb like all the Styles y'all have seen and y'all have been really loving. It'S been a lot of manipulation like styling, my hair, every single week, multiple times a week, even though I've been having fun. I know that's not the best for my hair, because my hair is very brick. It'S prone, it's very not prone. It'S it's very fragile. My hair grows best when I braid it up and wear a wig or a head wrap and honestly I've been doing that for years, and I just want to find a better balance between having fun with my hair and actually enjoying my hair, but also getting the Length goals that I want, we know I want hair to my booty, we'll see how my ends look. I would not be surprised if she has to cut off an inch just because again, I've been doing lots and lots of manipulation to my hair, I'm at a new salon today by recommendations of one of my friends, curls of a CPA. If y'all know her on here stable, I am going to her cousin's salon, sadidi hair salon here in Harlem honestly. Just kind of scared, like I always am hair salons - can really go left right, quick, but I'm going to speak up today. If I see something kind of gone awry, I'm just gon na be like yeah. We hope it's a mess and we hope that I don't leave this place bald y'all, let's go so. I don't use clarifying shampoo on everybody, because not everybody's gon na need to be stripped that much more with people with scalp issues um or that have a lot of products in there like. If you take down some braids or something I'll use, the clarifying shampoo. I can switch between Mizani design Essentials a lot. Those are my top two, but you have like a bunch of different options for your clients, depending on what they look like everybody's here is different right. I don't use one shampoo or conditioner on everybody, starting off good y'all in good hands, I'm a brag because I'm known for my washes This Is Love. My hair is getting a Valentine's Day. Treat s tell me not. Everybody needs three washers, either once the hydration to stay in your hair and um yeah, I wanted to make sure there was no struggles. I haven't brushed my hand in a week. No, no, no! That wasn't happening my mind detangling just like. Let me know, I don't know what magic Khadijah is working in here. Okay, I don't know what magic, but when I say my hair feels soft and succulent. I have never had this experience where I go to a salon and I actually get my hair deep conditioned and my hair feels soft y'all know I do not bang with going in straight with the deep conditioner. I love I like allowing my hair to dry down, but even going from like soaking wet hair into this deep conditioner, I'm like bruh adds to cards, because my hair feels So Soft, even before the steamer. Now I'm under the steamer and like this is going to be a good blowout and my ends might be trash with the experience. So far has been really good. I'M so happy, I'm so happy y'all these three different movements, your hands very much! So are you coming soon is that oil is that oil? You use oil here, not the Haram! Well, it's Haram. Now people don't lose oil foreign get carried away. I mean there's no other stylist, I'm just gon na come over here, that's right and say who we trust in the Caribbean. Yes, nowhere uh. Do you want yourself sure why not Grease Grease like or the authority, but how all of y'all have different ways of doing things like everyone is going to use their own method yeah? But then that's like my way is the only way and it's like how, when y'all don't even all agree on them. It'S like a chef, you know ride the bathroom somebody I think about you know yeah you're, watching this. This is my best natural hair salon experience ever. This is my fourth Salon in the New Jersey, New York area. Deep conditioner she used was just so hydrating um. She used a lot of leave-in sprays, a good bit of heat protectant, but my hair was not heavy. My hair doesn't feel dry. Khadijah actually has a big salon, so I was able to really set up my camera camera. Well, for you to see the trim and the framing was perfect. You could see all the different angles and my I wasn't filming y'all my camera was on, but I wasn't filming. I didn't realize it unfortunately, but if you do want to see a trim and a detailed trim next time, I go definitely give this video a thumbs up. Let me know: let's get this. Video to 1.5 K likes I'll, definitely make sure I get the trip next time as soon as I walked in there I was like yeah I'm in a good place. You know if the vibe doesn't feel right. You need to leave if the vibe doesn't feel like. It'S where you want to be, you need to leave, don't put up with just a stylist that doesn't really care about you or your hair, even Adidas Who The Stylist says it's really hard to find the stylist and she's not just saying that to get our money. It'S been my experience, it's hard to find a good stylist um, it's tough, to find a good stylist. So I'm glad I found a good stylist hope this video was helpful if you enjoyed it. Sir. Dave: She did that. This was true hair CARE. She put a lot of love into it. You probably can't relate because this is more for men, but there needs to be talked about how one of the most intimate things that you can do is I get your haircut. Like when I used to go to the barbershop, I used to like always fall asleep when my barber was cutting my hair, which was actually a black woman. Like the level of peace and relaxation when you're getting your hair cut or styled right is next level.
