I'm going to show you guys how I style my current new short hair D. Well, it's actually medium short. It'S not too short, because it's passed my shoulder, So this is a blunt shoulder-length haircut May be. This is how my hair looks like after I wash it and just let it dry. Naturally, I've tied it up and slept with it as well... So since I cut my hair short now, I have these top 3 favorite hair styles. The first one is the straight and neat hair. Second, is the C curl hair For this, the finish will be like a bob haircut, Because the length will become shorter And the third one is the most requested, which is the messy beach wave hair. So I'll show you one by one: It's actually quick, Because this is a short hair, so it won't take a long time So stay tuned till the end. Okay, guys ). Before we begin, I always brush my hair. First, Lately I've been loving this hair brush from Taya, Beauty, It's a detangling, hair brush, Make sure there's no more detangled hair, So it'll be easier and neater when we want to style the hair with the hair-styling tools. Okay for the first hair style. What you need is a hair straightener.. This is my most favorite one.. I'Ve been using this for the last 1 year., So this is GHD Gold. This is how it looks like I forget. What material is the plate inside here made of., But the plate is very smooth.. That'S why I like it so much, And this tools also heats up quickly And I think the size is also pretty small and compact.. It'S very travel friendly.. I don't divide my hair into sections Because I don't have really thick hair and it's short anyway., So I just directly style it So first focus to curl the top hair a bit then pull it straight to the bottom. We curl the top to give it more volume., So the hair won't be completely just straight. This is the fastest hair style You can see. My hair looks neat instantly And I only focus to straighten the parts of my hair that are messy, So you don't need to work through all your hair Whenever I don't have many times to get ready. I just style my hair, like this. I usually will work several times more on my hair ends to make them equally straight and neat.. You can see the difference right. Another most important thing is the front part. Just keep working on it till you get the result that you want., So here is the result that I want looks neat. Now I'll do the same thing to the other side.. So this is actually just the basic method to straighten your hair, but I just add more volume at the top of my hair. So if you want to give more volume at the top just bring the top hair up by moving it outward, then pull it straight to the bottom. Okay, guys, the first style is done., It's simple and easy.. I think this hair style looks more edgy., Because it's just straight and short, but it's neat at the same time.. I really love it And it's so quick to make May be you just need like 5 minutes. Well, I needed more time back then, because it's hard to see the mirror on my right side here.. I was born with natural straight hair actually., So I don't need to put a lot of effort to straighten my hair.. I just need to straighten my hair ends. Now, moving on to the second hair style., Still using the same hair, styling tools, (, hair, straightener ), But we'll create the C curls at the hair ends For this hair style, we'll create more volume at the hair ends.. So the result will look like a bob haircut.. Okay, let me show you how.. So first start from the top, pull it straight to the bottom, but then make a C curl at the end. The final result will make as if you have shorter hair., Make sure that all your hair ends have the same C curl.. So final result won't look, weird., (, make sure there's no more straight. Hair ends ). You can do like this to reach the inner hair. And do the same trick to add more volume at the top. Here'S the result. I'll do the same thing to the other side.. So this is the final look for the second hair style.. It'S also easy just create the C curls at the hair ends.. If you want to add even more volume at the top, you can use a hair, crimper iron.. But for me this is already enough., Because I still want to show you how I do the third hair style. So I don't do anything to the top of my hair.. However, if you prefer to have more volume at the top, you can add extra volume near the hair roots.. I think this second hair style will give you a more sweet/girly look., Because it looks neat, but at the same time it gives you a ``, different'' style. This style also makes your hair look shorter.. So, on the days when I want to look as if I have shorter hair I'll go with this C curl hair style., Okay, guys now I'll show you how I do the third hair style, which is the messy beach wave., First make sure to begin with a Straight hair., So I've straightened my hair again Because for this third hair style we want to keep the hair ends. Straight. So make sure there's no more curls at the hair ends. Or you can also make the hair ends slightly out. So you'll get messier effect.. Okay, first, you need to divide your hair into 2 sections. You can use a hair tie or hairclip., Because I have short hair. So it's a bit hard to clip my hair.. Therefore, I prefer to use a hair tie.. Okay. Next, you need a curling iron like this, Or you can also use the one that doesn't have a clip, But I usually use this. This is Tescom 3 Ways. Hair Iron. I'Ve talked about this a lot before. I also used this on my previous hair tutorial video. This hair iron can create 3 types of hair styles.. However, we're going to use the curler. So first you have to take your hair little by little per section. Then you need to curl your hair outwards, But the trick here you have to keep the hair ends. Straight., So don't go ( curl ) to the end, Just let the hair ends straight like this. By that way, you'll get the `` messy look'' And remember to hold the hair iron straight, Not like this, But keep it straight. Let it sit for a while then release the hair.. So here is the result Just like what we want. The hair ends remain straight And the curl will also fall straight down. Next, do the exact same thing to the rest of your hair And be extra careful because having short hair means more risk for the hair iron to touch your neck. So make sure to be careful okay..? Yes, we can't see the back part But yeah I'll try. My best At least there's no straight hair, left. See., Just like that. And now do the same. This to the other side. The curl on this lower section will look a bit weird at first, but it's okay. Just keep going.. So this is the result for the lower section. Now we're going to do the upper section, The upper section is the most important part.. You need to part your hair, according to your preference, of course, how you want the final result will be Because this will also determine the direction how you twist, the curling iron. So first part your hair After that. Take your hair little by little For the upper section, we're going to do the same thing as what we did to the lower section. Previously, I'm going to start from the back part Curl, the hair outwards Remember to keep the hair ends straight Now. Do the same thing again to the other side? Okay, so we're done with the curling step.. Now you need to split the curls with your fingers just like this. And then check where're the parts that you feel like it need more curl/wave. I usually will look straight to the front and check.. I want the right and the left to be equally the same.. I think this side is a bit more loose, so I'll add extra curl there, And for this I prefer to curl my hair manually.. So I can really adjust and curl my hair from the very top ( near my hair roots, ) And I'll also take the back part here. So it'll have more volume., Make sure to twist your hair out and upwards. So you'll get that extra volume.. You can adjust by your feeling to do this Okay.. for this side. I guess it's already enough., But I want to add more curl in the middle part here, Like I've, said you can adjust by your own feeling, which part that you want the curl to be more visible.. But this is what I usually do to achieve, that ``. Messier'', look, I add extra 3 curls for each section, The back part here as well.. So all the curls & waves will be even., Though we can't see the back part of our own hair., But at least we make sure it won't look weird., Okay, guys.! It'S done, you can just stop here. Or... I usually like to give the final touch by adding extra volume and a bit wet/damp hair. Look. I use Batiste Instant Hair, Refresh Heavenly Volume. Dry Shampoo. This product works wonderful to give volume to the hair. I spray the dry shampoo around that much and you can see it instantly adds more volume to my hair right And it makes my hair feels so light and bouncy.. I really love the effect that the dry shampoo gives And to give that wet. Hair look effect. I use this John Master, Organic Hair Spray. This product contains 97 % of organic ingredients, All natural plant based hair spray. It has water consistency. I kinda forget where I got this from, but I guess you can find this product at Sephora. This hair spray is just like water After your spray, it scrunch your hair like this. To give it more summer, look/effect See the hair looks as if it's wetter ( damp ) And we're done ), Okay, guys... So this is how I style my hair. Now I've done some experiments before and I always manage to have great results with these 3 hairstyles. So hopefully you can also create these hairstyles easily. Yes, the hardest one. Is this third style, the messy beach waves? It'S a bit hard to do it with short hair. Well, the concept is actually the same. Just like you do the beach waves for long hair., However, by having a short hair there'll, be more risk for you to get hurt by touching the curling iron (, accidentally ). But after I practice and try to adapt for around a month, I'm getting used to style my short hair. - And I think this third look is my most favorite one. I'M not sure what kind of mood that this hairstyle bring, but I just love it *LOL*.
