Curly Hair Styling Tips For Stronger Hold

Mercades: I always have that "oops" moment when trying to break the cast with oil because I don't know if my hair is wet or if it's just cold lol

VeryTired Helen: I can never tell when my hair is completely dry it seems like it never is even 30 minutes on highest heat. I try to go by the “if it’s cold or not thing” but that doesn’t seem to work. I don’t know why my hair takes forever to dry Edit: I think I figured it out. Since I have wavy hair I thought it had to be styled SOAKING WET like straight out of the shower but that was a mistake because I could never dry it. Now I towel plop and rewet with a spray bottle and style and my waves actually look better too and stay longer without so much water :)

Kiki: A lot of my fellow curl and coilfriends despise gel casts. I totally understand. Its crunchy and it makes our wash and go's flat. Breaking the cast adds volume. I love volume too but my hair is frizzy. Without a bulletproof gel cast, my wash and go won't last longer than 3 days.
